After everyone wakes up from their sleep, they all meet in the main room of the Gummi Ship.

"Does anyone want to start explaining?" Ichigo asks.

"What do you mean?" Roxas said.

"What were those key-type weapons? Who are you? Questions like that." Ichigo replied.

"The key-type weapons as you put them are called Keyblades. We are Keyblade wielders and Riku is a Master." Sora replies.

"Master?" Rukia asks.

"Keyblade Master. It means I passed the Mark of Mastery." Riku replies.

"Mark of Mastery?" Ichigo asks.

"It's sort of a test. If you pass, you become a Keyblade Master if not you have to wait and than take it again." Sora explains.

"Did any of you besides Riku try?" Ichigo asks.

"I tried but mine was hijacked. I ended up doing it again and passed." Sora admits.

"The Master hasn't let me try yet." Roxas saids.

"I passed with Sora." Lea saids.

"Can we ask questions?" Sora asks.

"Of course." Rukia replies.

"What were the weapons you and Ichigo, I think, were using?"

"They are called zanpakutō." Rukia explained.

"What are you and Ichigo?" Sora asks without using any tact.

"We are Shinigami. Ichigo is a Substitute Shinigami." Rukia said.

"Shi...Shinig...Shinigami?" Sora asks.

"We watch over the balance of souls." Rukia explains.

"What are souls?" Sora asks.

"It seems to be similar to what you call hearts." Ichigo offered.

All of sudden, a Gummi phone rings.

"Yes, what is Master?" Riku saids turning on the phone.

"It seems another world has fallen. Go see if there are any survivors."

"We got it, Master." Sora answers determinedly.

"So who wants to meet more people?" Sora asks to the group.

*Sometime before*

The work day in Shinra started. As people were running around, grabbing coffee and papers, something caused the ground to start shaking. At first people brushed it off as an experiment from the Science Department but it didn't stop. Finally, Sephiroth, Genesis, and Zackery headed to the Science Department.

"Why are we down here?" Zackery asked.

"Something keeps shaking and it's bothering Seph."

"It is interrupting productivity."

Shaking continues but gets louder. Eventually, herds of black creatures come forward. Magic does work on them but there are too many and Gaia falls.
