Chapter 2: The Facility Accidents with Team RWBY

Inside of the Emerald R&D Facility…

Team RWBY was walking in the main entrance of this old facility and was trying to call Doctor Oobleck, but nothing.

Ruby: "Hey guys, I'm trying to call Doctor Oobleck, but it seems like I can't reach him?"

Yang: "Let me try calling him sis."

She tried to call Doctor Oobleck herself, but nothing come through.

Yang: "Shit…(sigh) Sorry Rubes I can't seem to be able to contact him either."

Weiss: "How?! They were working fine a moment ago?"

Yang shrug: "How do I should know, I'm not a gadget technician!"

While Yang is yelling at Weiss, Blake look at her scroll to see what wa the problem.

Blake: "Hey guys, I may have found the problem why we can't reach him."

W/Y: "Huh?"

Ruby: "What what is the problem that we can't contact Dr Oobleck?"

Blake: "Well that because there is no signal."

R/W/Y: "What!"

Now they all check their scrolls, look at each other and say the same thing.

Team RWBY: "Fuuuck!"

Elsewhere…

At the Academy in Doctor Oobleck room. He was sitting at is desk sipping some of his coffee and then suddenly he hear a weird buzzing sound from his scroll from is pocket. He took his scroll from is pocket and look at it. Then suddenly will he was drinking is coffee, his eyes got wider and spit a bit of his coffee on the floor.

Doc. B. Oobleck: "(The sound of coughing) This isn't good, I need to talk with Ozpin immediately!"

He get up of his desk chair and go straight to Professor Ozpin office to tell him that something has gone wrong with the girls.

Now back with Team RWBY…

Ruby: "Okay guys, this isn't the time to find a way to contact them. We need to find a way to get that energy fluctuation in control before it get to dangerous. Any idea where to start?"

Weiss: "She right. We need to find that energy source. Hmm… Maybe we can find our answer in the main console room of this facility?"

Blake: "Good idea, we just need a map of this place to go where we need to go."

Yang: "Yeah, but where we can find a map of this place?"

While the three of them were thinking, Ruby noticed something on the wall. She approached it and see that it's a map of this facility.

Ruby: "Hey guys, I think I might have found the map!"

The rest of the Team look at her.

Weiss: "You did!"

Yang: "Yeah, way to go sis!"

Blake: "That was fast."

Ruby now blushing: "Ah it was nothing."

They all approche where is Ruby standing to see the map closer.

Weiss: "Okay, we are here in the Main Entrance and we need to go to the Main Console Room. So we need to take a Straight, Left, Straight, Straight, Right, Straight and Right. This won't be difficult to remember."

Yang: "Euuhhh? You lost me." While scratch the back of her head.

Weiss: "You...(sigh) Just follow me okay guys."

They all nodded in an agreement with her and following her to the Main Console Room.

After a couple of hours roaming in this old facility. Along the way, they passed multiple rooms label with different name for different purpose that they won't check inside and go only to the room their looking for.

When Team RWBY arrives to the main console room. They see a large screen with six small ones at their left, a console table at it center and eight large gas tanks on the right.

The Team walk towards the console and see what they can find in it.

Weiss: "Okay, what do you have in your database?"

While Weiss was looking for the energy fluctuation and how to shutdown it down. The rest of the Team was looking around the place.

Yang: "Hey guys, I wanted to ask, but I didn't think about it before. Didn't you know noticed that we didn't accounter a single Grimms in this hole facility, know even the weakest one? Don't you feel that it a little strange?"

Blake: "Now that you mentioned it. It does feel off that we didn't accounter a single one of them."

Ruby: "Maybe it's just our lucky day?"

Weiss: "Yang might be right about this. But I did noticed it when we were walking in those hallway. It felt like this facility was completely abandon by the researchers. Because when I was looking in those files, and one stod out from the rest. The file was name the Emerald Accidents and when I look inside the file their was only one name Play me?"

Ruby: "Okay... That's freaking weird, but what's in it?"

Weiss: "I really don't know and it's scaring me, but we don't open it. We will never know what really happen here?"

Yang: "Then play it Weiss!"

When Yang said that, the three of them come to the console of where Weiss is.

Weiss: "Okay if you incite."

She click on the document, but nothing happens.

Blake: "Hein? I thought something will ha-"

Ruby: "Wait what is that sound?"

The Team hear a hissing sound and metal buckling that is coming from behind them. They look behind them and that one of the gas tanks is pierce. Gas was leaking from it and the pressure was building up inside of it.

They all look at each other and hear more gas leaking. They weren't liking this.

Ruby: "Hey guys, I think we might need to leave."

Weiss: "I think also has you Ruby, that we need to leave right about now."

Yang: "Me too sis."

Blake: "I think so too."

Now they were slow baking away from those gas tanks and they run to where they have enter, but they were too late. The pressure was too much for those tanks, they rupture and spread into the entire room with a enormous gas cloud that contains the animal DNA.

Yang: "Ah shit… We are too late, we can't escape it."

When the gas at reach them. They began to be dizzy.

Ruby: "What's *cough* in this *cough* bloody gas *cough*?

Yang: "I don't *cough* know *cough cough* Rubes, but it's *cough* making me *cough* dizzy..." She fall to the ground unconscious.

Weiss: "Hopefully *cough* it isn't *cough* poison gas…" She fall also to unconscious.

Blake: "I also *cough* feeling *cough* dizzy…" She fell unconscious.

Ruby: "Guys *cough* don't fall *cough* asleep…"

Ruby is the last team member to fall unconscious.

Now Team RWBY will have they're DNA change forever. They will have on interesting wake up and will need to adjust pretty quickly to they're new body...

A/N: Hey everyone, this is insane I already publish two chapters in one day. I'm on fire (not literally). Maybe published the next chapter where our hero are now turn into faunus. But it's possible.
