The heroes were across the streets of New York, trying to learn anything about what was going on before they got an alert.
"Guys...what's…" Ojiro asked.
"Sorry but we got a problem. Shocker is robbing the bank!" Jeremie asked.
"What?" Izuku asked. "How is that possible? Did he break out?"
"Not exactly. We hacked the footage. A guard just let him out and gave him back his suit." Tails said.
"So he was working with someone." Kendo said. "Get ahold of that guard."
"Not gonna happen. He's dead. Whoever did this, they didn't want any loose ends." Mari said.
"Looking at the footage, the guard was in some sort of trance." Kazuichi said. "And it might've just been the lighting but it looked like his eyes were glowing."
"Hmm...maybe we'll get a better idea by beating it out of that Shocker idiot." Bakugo said.
"While I normally disagree, that may be the best bet to finding things out." Tails said.
"I agree." Bardock spoke. "Get to the bank, take Shocker down, then get any information you can out of him."
"We're on it." they said as they hurried over towards the bank where Shocker was heading out of the vault with large bags filled with cash.
"I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that's a parole violation." Kaibara said.
"You kids again?" Shocker asked.
"What, you'd prefer Spider Man?" Eijiro said before he and Tetsutetsu rushed Shocker and knocked him back into the safe. Tetsutetsu closed the safe door behind them. "Now that we've got you, wanna play 20 questions on why you're doin' this?" he then avoided a punch from Shocker. "No? Wanna arm wrestle instead?" he dodge another.
"Alright then, face-punch it is!" Tetsutetsu said, hitting Shocker on his helmet, but not doing much as he blasted them both out of the safe and back to the others.
"Whoa. I'd love to learn more about those gauntlets… too bad he's a villain." Izuku said.
"Have it your way!" Shocker walked out of the safe. "You kids wanna fight? Let's FIGHT!"
"Well...guess we're getting what we deserve." Izuku said as they were dodging his shockwaves.
"Herman, listen. If you tell us what's going on...maybe we can cut a deal." Shoji said.
"I talk, I'm dead. They made that very clear!" Shocker said, sending a shockwave at them.
Yui dodged, then grabbed some debris that she shrunk with her quirk before throwing it at Shocker. She then touched her fingers together as it grew giant sized, hurling at the villain.
"Oh, come on!" Shocker said avoiding the rubble, but took a punch from Eijiro.
"This is sort of different. I didn't expect a villain like you to be afraid of people." Todoroki said.
"Not even sure these guys are people! Could be anything under those masks!" Shocker said as he collided his shockblast with Todoroki's fire.
"Wait...did he say masks?" Iida said. "Then...they're the same people from the museum."
"The Demons." Lei said.
"Is that what we're calling them?" Kaibara asked as he dodged a ground shock wave and connected with a gyrating fist to Shocker's gut. "These Demon guys, what do they want the money for?"
"Don't know, don't care. Once the job is done, I'm gone!" Shocker said.
"That's a damn shame. Also...you were lucky to find actual money since people rarely use banks anymore. Want a tip on robbing? Try day trading!" Kaibara said, sending Shocker spinning right into the wall.
"Nice one." Lei complimented.
"Thanks. Spider Man isn't the only person who can make jokes." Kaibara said.
"Now we have more info. So...any details on guys in masks?" Kaminari asked.
"Lots. Apparently they've been hitting a number of territories that were owned by Fisk." Jexi said.
"It's more than likely a turf or gang war." Catra said.
"Oh, and were calling them The Demons now, apparently." Kaibara said.
"When you name them that, it makes it sound like they're actual demons." Mermista mentioned.
"They may as well be, if they are anything like what Shocker described." Shiozaki said.
"They have the masks too after all." Lei added.
"And that negative energy one of them made at the museum doesn't discourage the theory either." Double D spoke up. "Actual demons or no, that certainly wasn't normal."
"*Shivers*" Thorani said.
"Any Fisk properties that haven't been hit yet?" Yaoyorozu asked.
"He's got a place near the shipyard by the docks. You can check there." Nami said.
"Got it. Guess we're taking David's job and going demon hunting." Izuku said.
