Chapter 2:
The months went by and soon enough, it was September. Lily packed up her trunk with all of her school equipment and books. Helen and Tom drove Lily to Kings Cross Station where she boarded the Hogwarts Express. Lily said goodbye to her parents and lifted her trunk into the storage compartment. She entered the train and started to look for an empty compartment. She entered a compartment with two girls inside and asked, "excuse me, can I sit with you guys?" One of the girls had red hair and the other had blonde hair. The red-haired girl said, "Sure! My name is Ginny Weasley and this is Luna Lovegood. What's your name?" Lily said, "Thanks! My name is Lily Ravenclaw. What year at Hogwarts are you two in?" Luna looked up from her magazine, "We are both in our first year..." But before Luna could continue, 3 other students barged into the compartment. Two were boys and one was a girl, Ginny seemed to know who they were and said, "Hey Ron, Harry, and Hermione! You guys can join us." Harry said, "Sure Ginny! Who are those two?" Ginny said "This is Luna Lovegood and Lily Ravenclaw. Luna, Lily, this is Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger." Ron asked, "What houses do you think you will be in?" Luna responds first, "Hm...I think I will probably be in Ravenclaw." Lily nods, "Most of my family has been in Ravenclaw so I might be in Ravenclaw." Hermione asks Lily, "Are you possibly related to Rowena Ravenclaw? I have read all about the founders in Hogwarts a History!" Lily laughs, "Yup, my mum is a descendent of Rowena Ravenclaw. But my dad is…" But before Lily could finish Draco Malfoy, Blaise Zabini, Theodore Nott, Pansy Parkinson, and Daphne Greengrass walked in and Draco said, "Excuse me Potty, Weasel, Mudblood, Weaseltte, and Loony, can we borrow Ms. Ravenclaw for a moment." Ginny sighed, "Sure Malfoy but give her back when you are done." Blaise steps forward, "Sure cutie." and Ginny blushes. Lily walks out of the compartment and Draco leads her to their compartment. Draco says, "Lily Riddle, don't go telling them who your father is." Lily looks confused, "Why?" Theodore says, "They are trying to defeat and kill your father. Harry Potter's father was killed by your father." Lily raises her eyebrows, "How do you know my real last name?" Pansy puts a hand on Lily's shoulder, "Draco's father, my father, and Theo's father work for your dad." Lily sits down, "So why did you stop me from saying my father's name back there?" Theodore said, "If you said your father's name in front of them you would basically be kicked out of their compartment." Lily smiled, "Oh ok, can I go?" Daphne sweetly said, "Sure thing Lily! Can I and Pansy be your friend?" Lily smiled, "Sure I would love to be your friend!" Then Lily waved to her new friends and she walked back to Ginny's compartment.
