Me and Katniss sat next to each other and looked out the window as we watched our home roll away, a tear slowly made its way down my check and Katniss noticed and gave my hand a reassuring squeeze, "It's okay, we're going to come back," she said, she sounded determined but all I could do was give her a sad smile, "I wish I hadn't yelled at mom back there, I wish I told her I loved her," she whispered, "It's okay," I smiled," I told mom, I knew you would feel guilty later," I laughed a little bit, she smiled. Sensing we needed a distraction I pulled out my notebook from the pocket of my jacket, and said, "So I was thinking that this would make an amazing story, maybe I can get it printed," so I started talking about how I'm going to write the story until Effie Trinket, the district escort came in and said, "Come this way ladies," we got up and as we walked she continued to talk,"We only have rooms prepared for two tributes, of course if you want we can get another room," "Oh no it's okay, I'd prefer to be with Oakey Jokey anyway," Katniss responded, I cringed at the kiddy nickname, "Okay KitKat," I giggled, "Those are adorable!" Effie exclaimed, " Maybe mention that to your mentor when preparing for your interview!" We nodded and Effie left us to contemplate about how this was gonna work with three tributes, and the fact that if we win there would be two victors for district 12.
So I know this story isn't popular and it wasn't due for an update but I love this story! Please review because I'm not getting any reviews on this story so far! But I will continue this story no matter what cause it's my fav! - AlexisTheKoala
