Vorton
The three heroes arrive back on Vorton after their battle with Eggman and the Wicked Witches forces.
GANDALF: Goodness, I almost lost my staff that time.
SONIC: Same here Except with my lunch.
GATEWAY KEEPER: Hey, nice job. You bought back the Shift Keystone.
The Keystone hovers in the air and is then placed on the gateway.
LEO: Keystone? What's a keystone?
BATMAN: I'm guessing it's this.
After the Keystone is placed the gateway opens up a rift to another dimension.
SONIC: I guess we go through it?
IRON MAN: Worth taking a look.
LEO: Then let's go.
The heroes then go through the gateway.
The Simpsons UniverseA rift opens up in the sky and our heroes are falling through it.
GANDALF: Oh!
SONIC: Where are we?!
BATMAN: And why does everything look… Strange?
Batman looks at himself and him and everyone else looks like they have been animated.
LEO: HAS ANYONE NOTICED WE ARE FALLING THROUGH THE SKY?!
SONIC: Tony, a little help please?
IRON MAN: I can't. Somehow that jump through the gateway shorted out my armour. If I were you, I'd brace for impact.
As they fall they notice The Simpson house and as they brace for impact, they fall through the roof. The Simpsons themselves are in the middle of a couch gag and they sit on the couch. Homer looks up at the ceiling and screams as the whole family sees the heroes falling through the roof. They decide to move as the heroes land on the couch, except for Sonic who lands on his face. Gandalf sees the remote and turns on the TV, it plays the Krusty The Clown Show.
KRUSTY: Hey, hey, kids!
BATMAN: Enough TV. Let's figure why we're here.
They all agree and decide to leave the house, while Sonic picks himself up.
SONIC: I swear everytime I fall from the sky, I land on my face. Seriously.
As they leave the house Batman notices a very advanced piece of tech with markings engraved into it, these markings are similar to the ones on the Keystone.
BATMAN: Interesting. The markings on this device appear to be the same as on the Shift Keystone.
GANDALF: Perhaps they're linked?
IRON MAN: Maybe someone's trying to help us…
This thought is forgotten however when the three heroes are grabbed with the claws from two A.I.M Flight droids. Iron Man tries to blast them but his armour hasn't rebooted yet. While the others try to escape, the droids retaliate by crushing them with their claws. As they pass over the town of Springfield they see the town is being attacked by Adaptoids and A.I.M agents. As Krusty Burger is lit on fire, Krusty The Clown leaves the building with 2 briefcases of money in his hand. Chief Wiggum does nothing but sit in his police cruiser and eat a donut, he looks up for a moment to see two A.I.M agents surrounding the car. But A.I.M doesn't appear to be the only one here as Leonardo notices agents from the Earth Protection Force rounding up the citizens of Springfield at City Hall. As helicopters and droids pass over the town, the heroes are near the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. Iron Man's armour finally reboots and he makes a risky move and creates an EMP blast to short out the droids. As the others fall Iron Man makes a quick plan and grabs Leo's arm and he sees what Tony is planning. As they swing near Gandalf, Leo grabs his arm and they do the same for Sonic and Batman. Suddenly Tony is blasted from a laser gun from an Earth Protection Force helicopter.
IRON MAN: Jet boot down. EVERYONE BRACE FOR IMPACT.
As they brace for impact, they crash through the roof of the Nuclear Power Plant. The heroes get up from that collision and look at their surroundings.
SONIC: Whoa! What the heck is going on?
LEO: I don't know.
Then they hear someone over the P.A.
AGENT BISHOP (P.A.): The Foundation Element has been located. It's in the hands of an employee. Do everything it takes to get hold of this employee, one Homer J Simpson. Once we have the artifact we move back. Utilize The Asset and his secret weapon if there's any resistance.
LEO: Agent Bishop.
SONIC: Friend of yours?
LEO: Hardly. Special agent of the U.S. government, he is the head of the Earth Protection Force and he works to protect the Earth from alien invasion. He has tried to eliminate me and my brothers for a long time. If he's here, then it can't be good.
IRON MAN: So not only is A.I.M here, but a corrupt government official, great.
LEO: A.I.M?
SONIC: Basically an evil scientific terrorist organisation.
LEO: Bishop said something about an artefact. That's what he's after.
GANDALF:Then we must retrieve the artefact before it falls into the enemy's hands.
IRON MAN: I'm picking up something on my scanner. Maybe a Keystone?
BATMAN: Where?
IRON MAN: End of the plant.
SONIC: Then let's go get it.
As the heroes make their way through the plant, they encounter A.I.M and Earth Protection Force agents, but they beat them with ease. They reach the end of the plant and see Bishop with some agents.
LEO: Bishop!
AGENT BISHOP: Leonardo? It "was" interfering with my business! I'd love to catch up, but I have to grab something and then destroy you and your friends, Get the element.
A droid goes to sector 7-G and attempts to grab Homer, but Homer runs away.
HOMER: Ow! Hoo-hoo! Ow, my thingies!
The droid gets him and brings him to Bishop.
HOMER: I'm not normally a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman. Oh my gosh, space aliens! Don't eat me! I have a wife and kids. Eat them!
AGENT BISHOP: Excellent. Now, what was the other thing?
M.O.D.O.K then descends from the ceiling.
M.O.D.O.K: I AM PLEASED WITH YOUR WORK BISHOP, FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS THE THREAT OF THE SUPERPOWERED!
IRON MAN: M.O.D.O.K!
GANDALF: That is a very large head.
LEO: I've seen a lot of gross things. But this takes the cake.
M.O.D.O.K: STARK! GLAD YOU'RE HERE. JUST IN TIME FOR YOU TO BE ELIMINATED.
AGENT BISHOP: Release it.
A rist opens up and a large green adaptoid emerges from it, except it has the head of an Iron Man armour, Cap's star is engraved into its chest, it has a bigger version of Cap's shield and it has a robotic version of Mjolnir.
M.O.D.O.K: BEHOLD, THE SUPER ADAPTOID!
The super adaptoid launches itself right at the heroes, but they dodge just in time.
AGENT BISHOP: It was nice of you guys to drop in but we don't have time to play. We're a little busy.
As the adaptoid smashes its Mjolnir onto the ground, it creates a green shockwave pushing the heroes back.
IRON MAN: We need to attack it from opposite sides, it can copy our moves and use them against us.
GANDALF: Then I believe some outside the box thinking is required here.
The adaptoid fires a unibeam at Gandalf but he uses his magic to project a force field to protect himself. While it's distracted Sonic and Leonardo attack it from behind, stunning it. As it's about to attack those two, Batman throws a Batarang at it while Iron Man uses his unibeam to attack the robot. The adaptoid throws its Mjolnir at them but Gandalf blasts it into the toxic waste below using his magic. The adaptoid then throws its shield at the wall, it then bounces from wall to wall until it bounces toward Gandalf and is about to hit him, but Iron Man blasts it away into the toxic waste with a repulsor blast.
IRON MAN: Not as good as the real thing.
He then looks toward Gandalf.
IRON MAN: Shall we?
GANDALF: We shall.
Iron Man then blasts a unibeam at the robot while Gandalf produces a magical flame around the adaptoid to confuse it. The adaptoid sees this coming and fires a unibeam back at the armoured avenger. The two beams are locked in a struggle. It seems the adaptoid is gaining the upper hand but is stunned by a spin dash, Batarang and a ninja star from the other three heroes.
SONIC: Don't forget about us.
Iron Man uses this to finish off the adaptoid by using the unibeam at full power to push the adaptoid through the fire and into the toxic waste, finishing it off. Bishop and M.O.D.O.K don't look pleased. The droid that took Homer then gives Bishop a plutonium rod.
M.O.D.O.K: THIS WAS UNFORESEEN!
AGENT BISHOP: Doesn't matter, we have what we came for. Tell him it's show-time.
Homer looks to see the plutonium rod gone.
HOMER: D'oh!
Homer then runs away.
AGENT BISHOP: It's been great seeing you again, Leonardo, but we have somewhere less exploding to be.
A rift opens up behind them and they enter it. Suddenly the toxic waste begins to bubble.
SONIC: We should get out of here.
Iron Man then scans the roof and sees that there is an office above them.
IRON MAN: There's an office above us. We can go there to figure out our next move.
BATMAN: Agreed.
Batman grabs Gandalf, Leo grabs Sonic and they both grapple up while Iron Man blasts a hole through the roof so they can escape. They reach Mr. Burns' office and see some sort of generator on his desk. Then they hear a voice, very familiar to three of the heroes.
JOKER: Roll up, roll up and witness the hysterically hilarious, the riotously ridiculous, the marvelously mirthful…
Joker then jumps on the desk.
JOKER: Me! Well, if isn't my old pal Batsy…
BATMAN: Joker…
JOKER: Ding-ding-ding! One point to the Dork Knight! Haha! But, can you tell me what this is? Too late! My experts say it's a power unit. So let's see if it's got enough juice to wake up an old friend of yours, Spike Ball! I think it does!
BATMAN: Joker! What are you doing?
Outside Sonic sees a familiar looking robot.
SONIC: Oh, not this again… Duck!
Suddenly a giant arm takes out the roof of the office. The robot is Dr. Eggman's Big Arms robot except it is purple and green and the cockpit has a smile painting on it. Joker hops into the mech.
JOKER: Ready for round 2?! HAHAHAHAHA!
GANDALF: I shall banish you to the fiery depths!
Joker fires some missiles from the mech's finger tips. The heroes dodge them, but as they do Joker slams down his fist nearly crushing Leonardo. Leo dodges however and jumps on the arm of the mech and slashes at the cockpit.
JOKER: Get off me you sewer pet!
He grabs Leo and slams him down on the floor. Sonic then jumps on the wall and spin dashes the cockpit.
JOKER: Hey! Now that's not very nice!
SONIC: Neither was torturing me for a week!
JOKER: That was justified Speedy Mc Blue!
SONIC: Sure it was.
He spin dashes again but Joker swipes him away, causing him to hit the wall. Iron Man fires a unibeam at the mech but Joker blocks the blast with his giant mechanical hands and then punches Tony out of the plant. He lands down near the car park. Joker spots Gandalf and tries to squash him but Gandalf creates a force field and blocks the attack. Joker keeps on punching the force field. Joker doesn't notice Batman however as he bursts through the cockpit and attacks Joker head on.
BATMAN: Joker, stop!
Batman tries to hit Joker but is blocked with his forearm. Joker winks at the caped crusader and stabs him in the side. Batman yells, Joker then stabs him in the shoulder.
JOKER: Will you just PLAY NICE?! It's not a show without THE JOKER!
Joker goes for another stab but is blocked by Batman as he grabs Joker's arm. He then headbutts Joker in the face and knocks him back into the control, causing the mech to crash down into the office. The chestplate has been removed and Gandalf notices something.
GANDALF: The metal being appears to have a strange contraption attached to it.
SONIC: Another Keystone!
Joker has had enough and stabs Batman in the leg, he yells in pain and is then shocked by Joker's joy buzzer. As Joker laughs, Batman then grabs his arm and twists it. As Joker screams in pain, Batman grabs his head and slams it into the controls over and over. He then throws Joker out of the cockpit and as he does, Iron Man flies back up and punches the clown prince of crime in the face mid-air, knocking him down. Sonic then spin dashes the Keystone out of the mech and it deactivates, ending this battle. The mech then begins to explode, which results in knocking the heroes back into the wall. As Batman gets up to get the Keystone, Joker beats him to it.
JOKER: Ooh, this looks valuable.
Batman goes for it but Joker pulls out a tommy gun and threatens him.
JOKER: Nuh-uh!
He then pulls out a walkie talkie.
JOKER: Hi, I'm going to need a taxi from the roof of Springfield Nuclear Power plant.
A rift then opens up behind him.
JOKER: Oh, never mind, one's here. Be seeing you around, Bats!
As he is about to leave, Batman throws a Batarang at his hands, knocking away the Keystone.
JOKER: OH COME ON!
Joker fires his tommy gun, but Batman dodges the bullets and when he reaches Joker, he kicks him into the rift. When the rift closes he picks up the Keystone and walks over to his new allies.
LEO: Nice job Batman.
Batman nods, then a rift opens up behind them.
GANDALF: Shall we?
They all enter the rift.
Foundation Prime
Joker is currently explaining his failure to Doom.
JOKER: …and then they stole this shiny thing I found!
DR. DOOM: Chance meetings and setbacks to your petty pilfering do not concern me. We have the Foundation Element, that is all that matters.
JOKER: Trust me, if you underestimate the Creped Crusader, you'll end up getting battered…
(A/N: What a battle, first they have to deal with the super adaptoid and then Joker inside a Big Arms mech. Springfield is definitely going to take a while to repair.)
