Chapter 3

-Talon-

"Okay I need two more corpses and that shouldn't be too hard…I just need to make sure that I don't attract any more of those winged snakes." I said as I quickly moved through the swamp, but I also made sure not to run since running in a swamp is a terrible idea.

I quickly sensed something dangerous as I quickly turned around and saw a dark purple and light blue frog hopping towards me as this frog was the size of a punch buggy car as the toad opened it's mouth and it sent its massive tongue towards me as I jumped to the right and avoided the things tongue as it hit the ground before the toad recalled its tongue back into its mouth as I ran towards it and evaded the tongue each time before I hit the toad in the eye with a well placed spartan kick which made it jump back a bit as it's eye was forced closed as it tried to hit me with its tongue again.

But this time I grabbed the tongue and found it to be very slimy which is gross and its also hot…Like very hot!

"Fuck!" I cursed as I let go of the tongue as I quicky rubbed my hands on the ground as the slime must be acidic or something as my hands where burning but thankfully they weren't melting or anything as I saw the frog actually hop away from me and into the water as I no longer sensed anything dangerous nearby.

"Damn it! I scared it off." I said as I finished wiping my hands clean before I tried listening to the sounds of the forest as I used [Precision] to focus my hearing to perfect accuracy as I heard several noises all around me as the noises where of several animals as well as the sounds of nature like the wind or insects singing around me or water splashing around.

The sounds are admittedly hard to pinpoint and figure out but I am determined to find the closest sound and hunt it down and not just for my experience gain but also so I can hurry up and get back into my nice and soft bed. Anyway, back on the subject so I take this time to properly sit down and close my eyes as I focus entirely on hearing as I ignore every other sensation and, in all honesty, I don't know if this will work or if I'm even making a new skill, but I don't care about that.

All I care about is finding the nearest danger beast and hopefully being able to kill it so I'm just focusing on hearing as the sounds are loud and in a jumble but I focus even more with all of my mental ability to try to locate what noise is closest and after a long while of trying to tell the noises apart I finally catch a brake as I hear a animal cry nearby along with a animal roar and thunderous stomps that thankfully get farther and farther away from me as I stand up and open my eyes to run towards the area.

"Not a skill but still good to have." I said to myself but honestly, I don't feel different, and my hearing is more or less the same as it was before. Well, that doesn't matter now and instead what matters is finding this…Corpse.

"Oh, shit" I cursed as I stopped in the center of a few tree's as I saw the frog from before in a gore like pile of paste on the ground along with other unfortunate animals and danger beast alike as I have to cover my nose from the horrible smell and honestly, I felt like vomiting.

I can't even say for sure what did this because I am looking at a literal pile of meat and bones that looks like it was chewed up and spit back out on the ground and around this pile is a massive animal paw print that looks like it will be a permanent part of the ground now and I also quickly sensed danger nearby, so I turned around and saw giant alligators…Or crocs?

Doesn't matter. Anyway, I was about to take out my oni-mask to fight the four of them but the oldest one that has dark purple and green scales actually made some noises as if it was talking as it looked over at its kin as they all made noises before turning around and stopped sending out murderous intent.

"What the hell?" I asked as I slowly took a few steps closer to them as they went back into the water and one of them turned around but instead of attacking it just ran away faster as they all just ran away from the me or maybe it was the area I was in because a minute ago they clearly were going to try and kill me and since no other animals or danger beast are nearby than that only means that those massive beast are scared of whatever made this pile on the ground.

"A danger beast is the clear cause and it's strong enough to terrify monsters like them so what are the odds that I can just leave well enough alone and not investigate?" I asked myself as I looked over the extremely obvious trail of blood and gore on the ground before I let out a big sigh of sadness and anger. "The odds are low sadly." I said to myself as I ignored the meat pile before I started following the bits and pieces of blood and chewed up meat deeper into the swamp.

"Well, if I survive, I can at least say that I killed a big threat near the hideout." I said as the swamp started turning into a swamp like forest as I followed the blood going up a massive hill as I paid attention to my surroundings as best as I could as I slowly made my way up the hill before a disgusting smell hit my nose as I again felt like I was going to vomit.

So, after covering my nose I reached the top of the mountain to see that this mountain was basically a massive hill with a cliff edge and as I looked over the edge I saw a large beast in the center of a large area of swamp land with several piles of chewed up gore all over the place and the massive beast in the middle of this place was the size of a one story house with the body and legs of a lion, with what seems like partially healed wounds all over its body and some of its teeth where a bit to large for its mouth, on its back are thick reptilian wings that looked better for gliding instead of just normal flight and it is eating something and didn't seem to care about the fact that some of the food was falling out of its mouth.

"Fucking gross." I said as I went low to the ground and looked down at this beast as it was munching on something and granted these rotten piles of meat stunk to high heaven, but the worst of the smell was coming from the beast itself and honestly, I could swear that I could see the stink lines coming off of the large beast. "This thing has hunted down so many animals so how is their anything left?" I asked myself as I also noticed that this beast suddenly stopped eating before it stood up straight and let out a massive and ear-splitting roar making me stand up straight and cover my ears as I felt like my entire body was being torn apart.

I couldn't even speak in protest at my ears where in a insanely large amount of pain as my body moved on its own as my legs stumbled forwards and I fell off the cliff edge and landed on a pile of rotten flesh that thankfully saved my life as the attack and ringing in my ears started to go away as I looked up and saw the beast slowly turn around to look at me as I slowly got up off the pile of rotten meat and equipped my oni-mask.

The massive beast roared as it dived towards me with it's massive mouth open as I jumped to the right and saw it hit the flesh pile that cushioned my fall as I quickly landed on the ground and ran towards the beast front right leg as I cocked my hand back and punched the beasts ankle that already had a partially healed wound on it as I punched the hurt ankle and felt like I hit a brick wall or something as the beast hardly flinched as it quickly turned around and tried to swipe its claw at me as I luckily ducked under the claw swipe in time to avoid getting my head ripped off.

"Okay this is bad." I said as I basically did everything in my power to avoid getting hit by this things claws and teeth and the only reason why I was still alive is because of the wounds this thing has as it couldn't move freely as some of its wounds are still healing.

Then suddenly I felt another dangerous aura around me and in brief moment I saw the beast head get brutally taken off by none other than Taeko with her sword in hand as she landed on the ground next to the beast severed head.

"Taeko what are you doing here?" I asked in total confusion since I am almost positive that I was supposed to kill this thing alone for this quest or whatever.

"Chelsea had informed us that this stray Gappi beast had become a lone hunter and was near you so Babara sent me to retrieve you and tell you to abandon the mission as well as inform us about the bizarre sorcery you used to hide that Teigu you are using." Taeko explained as my heart sunk in my stomach after hearing what she said.

I can't even begin to explain RPG physics to people in this world let alone explain how magic even works here when I don't even know. This is bad but how did Chelsea even see me in the first place when I'm positive she left along with Taeko and Babara after that old bag gave me this mission.

Then just like that my oni-mask was forced back into my inventory without my input as I noticed my stamina was at zero and I felt physically exhausted like I couldn't even walk.

[You are now under the [Physical Exhaustion] De-Buff until you regain your stamina in its entirety]

"Alright…But I can't exactly walk after using that Teigu for so long" I told her and soon enough I was on her back as Taeko ran through the swamp lands with minimal effort.

This woman is a beast, and she doesn't even seem weighed down by me so if the currently brainwashed Akame managed to kill her after fighting that blonde girl than that means that either the blonde girl is stronger than I imagined, Akame is stronger than I imagined or both girls are insanely more powerful than I thought they would be.

"So would you like to tell me something Talon?" Babara asked as we soon made our way back to the base/mansion as Chelsea and the old woman stood out front waiting for me as I climbed off of Taeko and walked up to them as I am still very exhausted and I'm thinking as fast as I can about what to say since this woman won't fall for a basic lie.

"Well, I'm not really sure what I can tell you since I'm still learning about this magic stuff myself and I am assuming that my magic is what you want to talk about." I said as I scratched my head a bit as Babara has a serious and stern look on her face.

"Explain!" Babara demanded sending out some killing intent making me stand straight up and swallow the little bit of saliva in my mouth.

"Well, a little while ago I suddenly had the strange ability to create something like a alternate space to store things like my fishing rod and stuff that I can use and in all honesty I don't really know how it works and from reading some books I know its magical in nature but I don't know how to use magic for anything else and I don't know how to learn anything else about magic either since all subjects about it are all myths or wild and made up stories." I said as fast as I could, and I didn't use my lying skill because I wasn't actually lying and instead, I was just being honest but without spoiling anything about the RPG elements that are a part of my new life.

Thankfully Babara stopped sending out her killing intent as she lowered her serious face mask for a moment before giving me a sigh in response.

"Whatever it is you are doing is something that we need to fully understand but for the moment we just need to keep training you. However, the Gappi Marsh appears to have changed due to the wild Gappi that appeared and almost killed you. So, for right now you are to remain on the hideout premises while you are being trained." Babara said before I went back to my room and just rested for the rest of the day and night in my room.

{Killer RPG}

It is early in the morning as I am waking up and thinking about the events of yesterday and the fact that I actually survived fighting danger beast even if I only killed one of them thanks to the help of a Teigu that I can barely use…Yeah, I really do need more training.

Anyway, I prepare for another day after getting dressed in my basic butler attire as I head down to the eating area for breakfast before meeting Daniel again outside but this time, he has a cart with him containing various weapons as well as thick looking armor.

"What is with all this stuff?" I asked as Daniel picked up a broad sword.

"All good assassins use proper weapons, but master assassins can use every weapon with ease. So, today we are not only training you, but we are also going to training you to use various weapons starting now." Daniel said before I looked over the metal armor that looked old but still sturdy. "This will be your training armor as the armor is meant to weigh you down considerably which will aid you in getting stronger the more you get used to it." Daniel said before he had me put on the armor as it is basic metal armor covering my entire body except for my face since the armor lacks a helmet.

"Well, I need to get stronger as fast as possible, so I'll start out with this." I said as I went to the cart of weapons and took out a thick looking spear as the spear was as tall as I am and is a dark black color with silver accents on its body as I started my training as I practiced striking with this spear over and over again as my entire body ached, but I still kept at it as I fought an imaginary enemy with clumsy and predictable strikes of a spear.

[Due to intensive training, you've earned +2 END and +2 STR]

"You're going to die a pathetic death if you think attacks like that will kill an enemy!" Daniel said sternly as I could tell he is disappointed in me as I am sweating a lot while my strikes are getting slower. Until eventually my arms give out and the spear falls from my hands as I am brought down to my knees on the ground.

"I can't stop now." I said to myself as I tried my hardest to stand back up, but my body refused to listen.

[You've been hit with the {Physical Exhaustion} De-buff]

"You can't even stand back up let alone continue so let's end it here today." Daniel said as he helped me out of the armor before I felt some killing intent aimed at me as I slowly looked up and saw Mera-sama walking towards me with her umbrella in hand.

"Daniel this little boy your training is never going to improve with the way you are training him." Merriad said with a cocky smile as I noticed Gilberda and Cassandra with her as well.

"Pardon me Mera-sama but I wasn't aware that you where leaving." Daniel said with a bow of respect before I finally made my way up to my feet and gave a bow as well.

"I am off to do another mission for the revolutionary however I will be taking the boy as well." Merriad said as I was very shocked at that. "Will that be a problem?" Merriad asked as she looked at me and I honestly thought her eyes were burning a hole through my body.

"No Mera-sama it isn't a problem at all." I quickly told her.

"Good we leave at sundown so meet us here so we can leave. However, if you slow us down, I won't hesitate to kill you myself." Merriad said before she left along with her two little groupies as I went back to my room and rested for as long as I could until it became sundown as I didn't see any of the girls before I left as I headed out as I saw Merriad, Cassandra, and Gilberda all outside and standing in front of a literal griffin that was a dark red and black color with a fancy looking saddle on it as well as metal chains wrapped around its head.

"What is this thing?" I asked stupidly as Cassandra answered the question.

"This is a danger the revolutionary army is letting us use so we can travel to our objective as our mission will have us near one of the other border cities of the empire." Cassandra said before we all hopped onto the griffin as I sat in the back behind Gilberda as Cassandra took control of the beast as we took to the air.

"So, how long before we land?" I asked as we flew high into the cold night air as this griffin is actually really fast.

"It shouldn't take more than an hour or two with this girl?" Cassandra said as the ride was awkward with me being the only guy and the girls not letting me join in on the conversation as we soon landed on the outskirts of a large city late into the night.

"Talon I don't like or trust males so if I give you an order you are going to follow it to the letter without any delay. Understand?" Merriad asked as her presence alone is scaring me.

"Yes, I understand Mera-sama" I told her before we took residence in a nice Inn nearby as the girls all shared a room while I took a room across from them and sadly, I could hear them having fun sex as I just laid down in my bed trying my best to ignore them along with some of the other patrons who are probably not going to sleep easy tonight either.

"Just endure it Talon. Soon you will be strong enough to do whatever you want." I told myself as sleep was not coming easy tonight.

{Killer RPG}

Okay so it is early morning as I am standing outside in my butler attire which I had to sleep in as the other girls are still asleep after their night of fun as I am basically free to do whatever I want for the time being but sadly I don't even feel like training right now as I just sit on the dirt in front of the Inn.

"I need to do something but what?" I asked myself as I heard honestly don't know what to do right now.

[How would you like to explore a dungeon?]

"You can talk?" I asked the game screen before another message appeared.

[I am the game master and yes, I can talk, and I can also tell you that you are very pathetic right now so do you want to go through a dungeon and get stronger or not?]

"Okay calm down. Yes, I want to go find a dungeon and explore it." I said as some people walked past and almost looked at me as if I was talking to myself which I am doing so instead I just stand up and walk away from the Inn as the game master or whatever is giving me directions on where to go before, I come up to an alley way as I walk to the end of it and come face to face with a brick wall.

[Would you like to enter the N/A Dungeon? Y/N?]

"The level requirement is blurred out and none-existent, but I don't see anything else I can do other than more basic training so sure." I say as I press the yes button and saw the wall split in two with a golden light as I touched the light and was pulled into the dungeon.

One moment I was in a village in Akame Ga Kill but right now I am in some random forest as the air smells clear and I hear birds chirping around me as I slowly get up and dust myself off.

"Okay…What is this dungeon exactly?" I asked both myself and my game power since it basically told me to come here.

"Human!" A voice said as I turned around and saw a typical green skinned goblin as these things look like the goblins from goblin slayer or SAO as this thing is wearing a basic loin cloth and is armed with a spear made of bone and wood along with a bone necklace around its neck.

With my oni-mask I could take him but if I need it later, I won't be able to use if given how little stamina I have so I need to play this smart.

"Easy their little guy I'm not going to hurt you." I said before it thrusted the spear at me again to make me stop talking.

"You lie! Human's just attack us with monsters! You want to kill us!" The goblin shouted before other goblins quickly surrounded me.

"I honestly don't know what you are talking about. I just woke up here and I have no idea where I am." I said before some of the goblins started talking in their native tongue which is something that I can't understand.

"Walk! We take you to see Bugbear Leader!" The goblin shouted before I just realized that if a Bugbear is a thing than that means I am in a DnD campaign. Anyway, the goblins basically force me to walk with them as I am walking through the forest with crude weapons all around me before I eventually come up to a small camp of several tents.

The series of tents are being protected by a series of wooden spike walls, but I saw several corpses around the camp as there are a lot of goblin corpses as well as some human corpses and extremely large wolves with pure silver fur and also large Bugbear creatures, I recognized from the DnD official artwork in a DnD starter set.

"Move!" A goblin ordered as he damn near poked me with his spear.

"Okay I'm moving." I said back before I am basically taken through a tour of this place as several tents are destroyed and I saw several goblins all over the place along with about three or four Bugbear's and Hobgoblins each before I am stopped in the center of this camp as the goblins talked in their native tongue for a long while before one of the Hobgoblins moves away and brings their leader towards me.

This Bugbear has the most going on visibly as he is wearing thick leather armor with an animal skull helmet and shoulder pauldrons and he is holding a steel Warhammer over his right shoulder as the goblins walk out of his way as he stands in front of me, and this thing is massive at about ten or maybe nine feet tall.

"Who are you human?" The Bugbear asked me as I stood tall and gave him my own serious expression.

"My name is Talon, and I honestly don't know why I'm here. Because I suddenly woke up in the middle of this forest." I told him as he stared me for a moment.

Lie Successful!

"Let's say I believe you human. Why shouldn't I kill you right now?" The Bugbear asked me with what I think is a smug smile, but I can't really tell.

"Because you need me." I said boldly as I feel my heart pounding in my chest as I just played a bold gamble that I'm not even sure will pay off.

"Why would we need you?" Bugbear asked in agitation.

"Because I am a human. Now your goblins said that humans attacked you but since I'm a human I could not only get information for you, but I could also give you pointers on human tactics and how humans fight." I told him as Bugbear looked me over once more but seemed to have been giving my words some serious thought.

"Chief we can't believe him! He's a human and human's hate us!" Hobgoblin #1 said in anger as I could practically feel the bloodlust in the air as many goblin beings where staring at me in hatred.

"True humans hate us, but we also hate them! So, we should do whatever it takes to kill them!" Bugbear said as he lowered his Warhammer onto the ground. "Put him in the chains with the others until I decide to use him!" Bugbear ordered as a Hobgoblin roughly dragged me and carried me away behind a trio of tents as he put me in a large metal cage along with three other humans as I was put on the floor of the cell and had chains wrapped around my hands and legs.

The Hobgoblin slammed the cell shut as he walked away as my cellmates hardly looked at me as two of them are woman not wearing anything and covered in…Fluids. While the last one is an old man who looked like he came from money as he is wearing some fancy looking robes, but he also looks beaten and hurt.

Now I want to ask them some questions but it's far too awkward and the way they look at me shows that they expect me to comment on how they look or say something hurtful but instead I just sit in place for a long while before Hobgoblin #2 came up to the cell as she is in what looks like a dress made of animal furs as she also opened the cell door and gave each of us captives loafs of bread with berries mixed in before she left as I grabbed my loaf of bread and bit into it as the bread was fresh and tasty despite the environment I'm in.

"Child you are too young to be a mercenary so why have you come here?" The old man asked as he looked over at me.

"I don't remember anything. I just woke up in the forest nearby and was captured soon after." I told him as he didn't bother asking why or question what I told him.

"Well, you are in a horrible place young man. These monsters are going to kill us all but sadly these girls got it worse since they are constantly being used as toys for those beasts" The old man said as I can't help but wonder what is going on outside of this dungeon since I honestly can't say I feel too bad for these people since they aren't really real from my perspective.

[Time moves differently while you are in a dungeon. As you can spend hours here while only a minute or two passes in the real world.]

Oh.

"Don't take this the wrong way sir but I don't intend to rot in this cell." I told him as the day dragged on for what seemed like hours before nightfall came and I was sleeping in this dirty cell before I woke up and saw a bright and shining sun as the Hobgoblin again and gave us some more bread.

"You! Come with me!" The Hobgoblin woman said as she undid my chains and dragged me out of the cell with her as she took me to the Bugbear chief who stood in the middle of the camp.

"Human we've talked about this a lot and decided to properly use you." Bugbear said before I smelled something burning as I looked behind Bugbear and saw a flaming circle appear behind him before someone walked out of the circle as this person is a woman in a dark brown robe hiding her body except for her face and hands as the robe has a dark green skull design on the chest, I also see that she is wearing dark brown boots.

She has a agitated look on her face as she has shoulder length dark black hair, her eyes are a dull white color showing she is blind, on her face are bright red tribal tattoos that remind me of the tribals from Fallout 3 and on her right hand is a skull ring as she also has a leather sheath around her waist and in the sheath on her left side is a dagger.

Marigold Emm, Lvl: 16

Cultist!

"Why have you called me here beast?" Marigold asked with a deep scowl before the chief Bugbear actually seemed to be a bit scared as he quickly turned around to look at this woman.

"Marigold this human we've captured might be more useful than the others, so we wanted to give him to you since you told us to capture worthy humans" Bugbear said in a scared tone as Marigold slowly walked towards me as she looked me in the eyes for a minute or two.

"Well, you certain have the potential to learn the arcane and I need a proper servant...So, you'll do for now." Marigold said in an almost bored tone of voice before the goblins unhanded me as well as removed the chains they kept around my hands.

"Wait. You're in charge of these goblins?" I asked as looked me over once more.

"Yes. These beats do as I command since they are terrified of my power and the power of my superiors, but you will learn more about that soon. For the time being we are leaving." Marigold said before she balled up her right hand for a moment before fire surrounded her fist as she than opened her hand and created another flaming circular portal in front of her before she roughly grabbed my hand and walked me through the portal with her as I just saw a series of infinite colors in front of me before they abruptly stopped as I faceplanted some hardwood as I slowly looked up and saw that I am in some kind of cabin.

The cabin is a modest size and looks like a typical mage place with books and stuff all over the place, two windows showing that we are still in a forest, mystical talismans hanging from the walls and this is just the main room.

"This is my place and don't get any ideas about running away or stealing from me since this place is warded to harm people that bring harm to me or try to steal from me." Marigold said as that didn't sound quite right since magic isn't really that specific about certain things.

"Okay" I said standing up as Marigold walked over and laid down on the black couch in the room with a yawn.

"If you want to stay than do your job as a servant and clean this place up for me. Books go in the bookcases and garbage goes in the garbage can in the kitchen and magical objects are to be left alone." Marigold said as I gave her a scowl, but I have to do as she says since I can't just kill her or something because I have no real idea about where I am or who she apparently works for. Since she apparently has superiors that she talks with.

Then again she may have lied about that to scare the goblins and Bugbear's into staying loyal but I still can't take the chance so I just start picking up everything in the room and put everything in the proper places and I also leave the magical objects alone as it took a good chunk of time to clean the entire cabin as I learned that this cabin only has this main room, a bedroom and a kitchen area for cooking and that's about it.

"Not bad." Marigold said with a yawn before she sat up and raised her hand as she levitated one of the thick covered books from the bookcase towards her as she started reading before she gave me another order. "Now in the kitchen area I have a tea pot full of water so go brew me some tea." Marigold ordered as I felt a vain throbbing in my head before I walked into the kitchen and saw a tea pot of water already on the wood stove as I opened the stove and saw the firewood was out.

"Okay this is stove needs a good fire." I said as I looked around for anything that can start a fire and after a good bit of searching I find a small bowl filled with some bright red powder of some kind in a cabinet as the bowl and powder felt hot to the touch so I decided to experiment as I grab the bowl and toss the powder into the wood powered stove and jumped back a bit as the wood almost exploded from touching the red powder before I close the stove door and let it work as I go into a cabinet and take out a tea cup before I also take out some small looking leaf's wrapped in a white cloth.

So, I put the leaf's in the cup before I grabbed thee handle of the tea pot before I pour the hot water into the cup and saw the water quickly turn a dark green before I pick it up and give it to Marigold as she grabbed it with her free hand before she smelled the tea before taking a sip of it.

"Horrible" Marigold said as she didn't even bother tasting it.

"You didn't even try it" I told her before she slammed her book shut.

"I don't need to try it to know that it is terrible. Because not only did you use my fire-salt to start the fire, but you also used medical herbs instead of tea leaf's." Marigold said as sternly before she stood up. "Now it seems like you're an idiot, so I need to explain things to you very slowly" Marigold said as she explained what everything in her house is including what a stove and bookcase is.

Now she pissed me off, but it still actually did me some good since I found out what some of her magical items and alchemical ingredients are. Anyway, it's getting late as I am sitting down on the couch and I'm reading one of Marigold's books as she is outside doing something that she refused to explain to me as this book is information about magic and now, I'm learning that this isn't just a DnD themed dungeon, but it is also mixed with some Elder Scrolls and The Witcher worlds of magic.

"Magic is complex and a bit confusing but in basic terms it follows DnD logic as a person using magic has to truly feel their arcane energy and commit themselves to learning all the arcane arts they wish to learn." I said as I kept reading the book as it is giving me great magical advice and pointers on how I can possibly use magic, but I can't exactly practice here in Marigold's place.

"I'm back servant." Marigold said as she entered the cabin again with a serious look on her face.

"My name is Talon." I told her with a deadpan expression on my face.

"I don't care where leaving. Now follow me." Marigold ordered as I groaned in annoyance before I walked outside with her as we started walking down a dirt path towards a nearby village, I can see in the distance as the place looks well-fortified and protected by guards in knight armor wielding various weapons.

"Why are we heading towards the village?" I asked her as she didn't bother looking back at me.

"We are meeting my superiors and I strongly suggest that you don't ask questions like that around them" Merigold said as we walked into the village as we walked past dozens of people before we entered the mayor's office in the center of the village as this village was actually massive enough to need a mayor.

Anyway, Marigold walked me past several guards as we entered the basement of the office as the Mayor came down as well along with five other people as the basement looked pretty large but basic in terms of design.

"Who is this brat?" The mayor asked as he looked me over for a moment along with the others.

"He is my new servant that I got from those monsters in the forest, and he has potential. So, I want him to join us and if we need it than he can be our sacrifice to our goddess." Marigold said as I felt my heart sink into my stomach at what she just said but given the crowd I am with I decide that I shouldn't say anything as I saw that they are all cultists given the fact that they all have cultist as their titles.

Anyway, the mayor went to the northern wall of the basement and touched the wall before it glowed a light purple color in the shape of a rectangular door before he walked through it as we all followed him and soon enough, I saw that this hidden room is some type of shrine as it is a large room with a stand at the end of the room with a large and gold statue on it in the shape of a 5-headed dragon. As Marigold walked towards the statue and kneeled in front of it.

"Goddess of all evil dragons I am Marigold and as your humble servant I beg of you to please speak words of wisdom to us as we all beg you to guide us with your divine will." Marigold said praying to the alter as I just realized my situation went from bad to worse and now the beast servants make sense because the goddess of evil dragons aka Tiamat isn't above using people weaker than her as well as have cultist and is basically super evil.

This is bad and I need to figure out how to get out of this.

"Well, you are an interesting one. So young and already tainted with blood." A female voice said in my head before I saw something concerning.

[Gamers Mind has failed to negate the intrusion of the dragon goddess {Tiamat}]

'You're in my head?' I asked the voice in my head before everyone suddenly fell onto the floor as their eyes appeared to have rolled into their heads before a figure physically materialized in front of the statue.

The figure is a beautiful woman with dark tan skin as she has chin length dark black hair, her eyes are a dark red and she is wearing a basic white knee length dress that was very see through, but she didn't seem to care.

"I am in your head but right now I am in the physical world and I am aware that you know a great many things Talon." Tiamat said as I than felt hands wrap around me from behind as I see another version of Tiamat from over my shoulder as her hands where on my chest and I was made aware that I wasn't going anywhere since her grip was like iron, but this version has dark green hair and eyes as she rested her chin on my shoulder.

"This ability of yours is very intriguing just like you." [Green] Tiamat said as she actually nibbled on my neck a bit as it was both hot and scary.

"Green stop whoring yourself out to our new champion!" Another angry version of Tiamat said as this one stood next to the one with black hair as this angry version has dark blue hair and eyes and was wearing the same thing as the other two versions.

Seriously I think I felt the building shake when this one yelled.

"I actually have to agree with green. Our new champion has so much potential and even though he is blooded and lived two lives he has never tasted the sweet taste of flesh. So, I think we should teach him." Another version said appearing in front of me as this version has pure white hair and ice-y blue eyes as she leaned close to me and actually grabbed one of my hands and made me grab one of her breasts and sadly, I couldn't fight myself as I squeezed and my god, she feels so soft. "So aggressive." [White] Tiamat said with a cocky smile.

"Talon we are Tiamat as I am the personality [Blue] while the one's fondling and trying to seduce you are [White] and [Green] while the first one you've met is [Red] and the one stuck in bitch face is [Black] as we have all decided that you will become our champion" [Blue] Tiamat said as she has bright neon blue hair as she stood next to red.

"So, the queen of evil dragons wants me to be her champion? I know I should say no but being a good guy isn't all it's cracked up to be" I said as I wasn't going to just say no to a literal god. Especially since she is still kissing my neck and letting me feel her up as [Green] Tiamat actually wraps her right leg around my waist and starts grinding herself against me.

"You will be such a mighty champion. Your mana alone feels so wonderful." [Green] said as I tried focusing through my lust as I remembered that out of all the dark personalities, I can't trust the green one or the black one at all.

The others I can't trust either but at least they are more predictable since green is the embodiment of trickery and greed while black is like a female dragon version of the hulk but without the ability to chill.

"What exactly will I be doing as your champion?" I asked her before the red one spoke up.

"You will spread my religion all over the true world that you come from and normally I wouldn't be able to traverse between the realms but with you as my champion you will bring me to your world and allow me to be worshiped properly in your world." [Red] Tiamat said before [White] Tiamat placed both her hands on my right hand taking it off of her chest before my hand felt like it was on fire while also freezing but I didn't actually feel any pain from it.

"With these any and all people with the proper knowledge of me will show you the proper respect as well as do whatever it takes to please you. However, you will need extra proof of your devotion to us and that is why I will give you this" [Black] Tiamat said before she roughly grabbed [White]'s hair and ripped her away from me as [Black] Tiamat roughly grabbed my face and gave me a deep open mouth kiss as her breath felt hot and it burns a bit as her tongue was way longer and skinnier than mine as it was lizard like and was forked at the and as I felt like she just poured acid down my throat before she let go of me as I saw yet another screen.

"So young and viral but my poor champion you are far to weak for me to mate with you as your life would wither and shatter within my body. So, now our time is at an end and you must get stronger if you wish to survive so don't die my champion" All of the Tiamat persona's said before they vanished before everyone slowly started to get back up with groans of pain.

"Did the goddess speak with us?" One of the guys asked as they all stood up before Marigold rushed towards me in shock as she grasped my branded hand in shock as I saw the brand on my hand now as it looks like a five headed dragon in a black circle and honestly it would make a pretty badass tattoo.

"The goddess has chosen you. I knew you had a gift, but I never thought that the dark goddess would have made you, her champion." Marigold said in shock as she tightly gripped my hand.

'Your power is strange indeed but useful. It seems that Marigold is the only true believers while the others have only worshiped me in hopes of increasing their standings in their pathetic mortal jobs and lives.

Normally I would have given them what they want but they have failed to give me proper tribute so they must die.' Tiamat said in my head, but I think everyone heard because they all looked at my brand as it had been glowing when Tiamat spoke.

"Goddess of darkness that isn't true! I've believed in you with all of my heart I swear!" The mayor said as Marigold has a serious look on her face.

"Our goddess has spoken…All of you must die as she has commanded" Marigold said as she looks ready to kill them.

"Everyone just calm down. Now I can't truly speak for Tiamat, but I think that if you show her the proper tribute, I believe that she will forgive any transgression you've all committed" I told them as Marigold and the others looked at me in awe before they all bowed down to me.

"We are not worthy of your mercy." One of them said before I looked back over at the mayor.

"Mayor can you explain why you're attacking the nearby tribe of goblins and Bugbear's?" I asked him as he quickly looked up at me.

"We simply don't need those vile beast alive. They are only good for blood sport and practice for the guards" The mayor said as that actually upset me a bit since he wasn't entirely wrong, but I still felt like those goblins and Bugbear's have more to offer.

"Now I don't believe that. I think that those beasts have a lot to offer, and I would like to go back their actually" I said as that camp would make an excellent place to train myself both physically and with magic.

"As you wish." Marigold said as she created another portal as this one will lead back to the camp as I walk through it along with Marigold and soon enough, I find myself back in the center of the camp.

"This will be a good place to train." I said to myself as the goblins and Bugbear's gather around us again as the Chief showed his ugly face again.

"All of you listen up! This man named Talon is now the advocate of the evil dragon goddess known as Tiamat and that means that he isn't only more important than you, but it also means that you are all bound to obey his will or face Tiamat's wrath!" Marigold said loudly for everyone to hear as I raised my hand and showed the beasts my brand which gravely shocked all of them.

"So chief I believe I will be taking your tent since yours seems the nicest and I don't want to be disturbed." I said since I don't really like this guy and taking his home just feels right.

"Of course." Chief Bugbear said before he took Marigold and myself to his large tent and on the inside is a large queen-sized bed on a wooden frame with covers made of random animal furs, a large table and two chairs, and that is about it as I close the tent flaps behind Marigold.

"Alright Marigold I will be staying her for a while so I can practice and train myself to become stronger but staying here also has its risks so do you know anything about the area and how many goblin beings are here in this partially destroyed camp?" I asked her in a serious tone of voice.

"In total this village has fifteen goblins left with four Hobgoblins and four Bugbears and this village is pretty deep in the forbidden woods and is only one of several camps of beasts in the area." Marigold said as I sat down on the bed before I take off my shoes.

"Thanks, and now after such an exhausting day I am going to sleep. However, I feel like someone is going to try and kill me in my sleep, so I want you to stay here with me if you'd be so kind." I said as I laid on top of the covers since they do have a certain odor along with the bed itself.

"That isn't any problem my evil lord. I will do as you command without fail." Marigold said as it took me a while before I was finally able to sleep and ignore the cold breeze the night gave me through the thin walls of the tent.

A/N: This isn't my best chapter, but this is what I came up with and yes, I have recently gotten my hands and mind into DnD which is something I've wanted to do for a while but couldn't and their will be more of this to come in this story because why not?

Also, I am slowly making Talon get closer to the darkness, but I can assure you that he won't be one of those crazy evil dudes and instead will be more like…Neutral Evil I guess since I have already established the fact that Talon will kill if he needs to.
