A soft sigh left her lips, ever since Hashirama brought Itsuki over, she had agreed that a once-a-week playdate would be in order, despite how mature Kazumi acted, he had been missing his cousin. So, she worked out a plan with Hashirama, who took it home to Mito. This had been six months ago now. And she now had Itsuki for a bit longer because Mito was in the hospital herself now, she had agreed to Hashirama's rushed words when he dropped Itsuki off by her, it was a Saturday, how convenient really. She could hear Izuna's loud babbles in the living room, and Itsuki, who was excitedly showing both Kazumi and Izuna some cool move he learned from Hashirama. She shook her head, that boy was more and more like Hashirama as the days went on. She wondered how Mito was able to deal with two Hashirama's, she knew that it would have drove her insane as a kid. She placed the plates of food on the table and moved into the living room. She picked Izuna up from the floor. "Foods ready." She said to them, watching as Itsuki raced Kazumi to the kitchen, Kazumi won, only because he cheated with a head start. Something that Itsuki clearly whined about. She moved and put Izuna in the chair that Hashirama had created, he called it a highchair for babies, it worked well. She put the cut up cooked potatoes on a plate for Izuna, who ate them with no questions asked. She was glad that he was not picky, something Madara had been surprised about, having said his brother had been a rather picky eater as a child. Which for being a child in a clan, who was always at war, picky eaters were never a good thing.

She shook her head a little bit, looking at the baby again. She was noticing well that little Izuna was a weird mix between her and his late uncle. He had the appearances of herself, but their personalities were mixed. At times, he would fix them with the most unimpressed look. Something Madara joked about a lot, saying that it looked just like when she was mad at Hashirama for some reason or another.

And she had to agree.

She still did not know where Kazumi's personality fully pulled from. Sure, Itama had been shy, and a little quite at times. But this, Kazumi was mostly reserved, and not in the way she or Madara were. So really, she was not sure about that. But she also found there was no sense on thinking about it.

"Do not race to get your food gone, or you will be sitting at this table for an hour, and not moving, do you understand?" she said to them, a frown on his lips when she noticed the decided to try turning the food into a competition too.

"Yes mom."

"Yes auntie…"

They were adorable, but they were also little shits as well.

She sighed and looked at Izuna, she just hoped he did not have a relationship like that with his other cousin. He and Mito's second born were only going to be about seven months apart, they will be the closest in age.

She looked up when Madara came through the door, and Izuna let out the happiest cry, there was no denying that Izuna was definitely a daddy's boy, and she had known that from the moment Madara was able to calm him down when she was unable to.

"So, how did it go?" she asked him.

Madara let out a soft snort, moving to ruffle all the boy's hair gently, before going grab some food. "Well, aside for Mito yelling profanity at Hashirama for just talking to her. She's worse than you." He chuckled.

Tobirama huffed. "You don't talk, that's why I seemed so mellow." She chuckled. She always loved that her husband and brother had such a close friendship, they were already like brothers before marriage even came along, and Hashirama always wanted Madara to be with him for their dream, it had been something they had came up together while just kids. And she respected that.

"Point taken; you would think that Hashirama would have learned the first time around." He shook his head.

"My brother is an air head, why is this even up for debate?" she huffed a soft laugh.

Madara shook his head with a smile. "Anyways, they wanted me to tell you to bring the kids, saying that they wanted to surprise Itsuki with the gender."

They boy just seemed to vibrate a bit at that. "I hope it's a sister!" he said loudly.

"I'll leave Izuna with you, I don't think he really will grasp the understanding right this moment anyways." She said to him. "Itsuki, I know you are excited, but do not rush with your food. Your little sibling will still be there when you are done." She said to him.

Itsuki pouted but nodded. "Okay…"

Tobirama chuckled softly and moved to stand, she went along and started cleaning and putting away dishes.

"You know I can do that as well." Madara said lightly to her.

"I know, It's just a habit at this point." She said to him. She knew he could and would do it. But for the first four years of their marriage, she had busied herself with these mundane tasks to try and not think about the fact that their marriage had very much just been political, sure, they changed later on. They love each other much more now. But the basis of it was, that's what it had started off as, and now these tasks were just a part of her daily routine.

Madara moved and took the plate from her hands. "Go shower and change, I'll deal with the kitchen for now." He said softly to her.

Tobirama let the subject drop and moved to do as he said, she needed it. She felt gross already.

She went to their room and pulled out some clean clothes, closing herself in the bathroom she showered.

_ Line 1

Tobirama showed up at the hospital later with Itsuki, who was just jumping around excitedly, and Kazumi. Tobirama gently scolded Itsuki that had had to settle down, the hospital wasn't a place to be jumping all over in.

After checking in, she managed to wrangle Itsuki into Mito's room. Hashirama was sitting off to the side, and Mito was holding a bundled baby in her arms.

Itsuki ran over to Hashirama, who picked him up and carefully moved his so he could see his new sibling.

"Is it a girl?" he asked, the worst hushed whisper he could manage.

Mito chuckled. "Yes, you have a little sister." She said to him.

Kazumi shyly moved over to look at the baby with Itsuki, both were in awe of how small she was compared to baby Izuna now.

Tobirama moved over by Madara, peeking at the baby herself. "So, how many more of those do you want?" she asked Hashirama with a tease in her done. She knew her bother wanted more kids, that was a no brainer.

"I've talked him down to two more." Mito chuckled.

Hashirama hummed a bit at that. "Four kids seem like a reasonable amount; I don't see how you wouldn't want another one." He looked at Tobirama. There were a lot of things that her brother understood about her, but this is one of the things he did not understand.

Tobirama hummed. "I love kids." She spoke. "But I do not like being pregnant, and unless you and Madara can find a way to birth these kids yourselves, I do not want anymore." She chuckled.

"Oh, hunny.. These men would wilt if they had to feel this pain." Mito laughed. "There is a reason woman are the only ones who can birth children and still live to tell the tail." She said as she looked at Hashirama. "You men may be strong, but woman are as well." She hummed. Hashirama never fought them on this.

Tobirama moved to pick Itsuki up and sat him next to his mother, so he could lean over and see the baby better. Kazumi eventually returned to her side and she gently touched his hair. As much as she would love to try and give Madara another child, she just could not do it. Motherhood and never really been her calling. Regardless of how well she was told she was doing.

Training students, sure. Raising children… She faltered a lot.

Sure, they were similar, but there was still a difference between kids that were not her own, and kids that were.

She eventually left with Kazumi, leaving Itsuki with his parents.

She walked silently with her son; he was content with just holding onto her sleeve for a while.

"Hey... mom." Kazumi started; he was trying to figure out to word things.

"Hm?" she tilted her head down to look at him.

"The work, at the academy..." he started. "It's really easy…" he said.

That had Tobirama raising an eyebrow. "Easy? How so?" she asked him. Was he really having such an easy time? Or was it the fact that he was caught studying some of hers and Madara's books… How much did he learn in the time before they realized he had been sneaking into their study?

"I have the top grades, the teachers were wanting to talk to you and dad about it, maybe suggest that I move up to a more… grade appropriate level? They said this stuff was too easy for me." He shrugged.

Tobirama looked at him. He was acting like this was no big deal. It was not, Madara was incredibly smart, and the second-best sensor compared to her, and she was smart as well, they were dubbed geniuses of their clans…

She should not be shocked that their son took after them, maybe a little too well.

"Well, I suppose we will have to have a talk with your teachers then." She said softly. She ruffled his hair. "I'm proud of you, you are doing well." She said with a smile.

She was able to notice the embarrassed flush on his checks, just like Madara, never knew how to take praise of compliments well.

She returned home with him not too long later, and it seemed Kazumi was right.

Madara was holding a letter in his hand.

"Seems our son is quite the little genies." He said to her, handed the letter off to her.

She took it and read it easily. "I suppose we should go this week and figure what the best course of action would be." She said to him. She watched as Madara ruffled Kazumi's hair affectionately.

"We should, I want to see exactly where they want to place him." Madara hummed lightly He had always wondered which of their kids would end up with their brains, and it seemed Kazumi would never disappoint in that area.

Tobirama sat the letter off to the side and watched as Kazumi went over to Izuna and played with him, he was also just so content on laying and playing with his little brother, she really was not sure how they lucked out in having such a good child. He always did things without having to be told twice, and was just well behaved, everyone loved him. Even those who still had some doubts within the Uchiha clan, were starting to like the boy.

So she was naturally proud of him.

She hummed a bit, she was not shocked to see that Madara had made them dinner, he always did say that his mother wanted him to know how to do more than fight. So she was a bit grateful for that, and also a bit bewildered that she spend all afternoon with Mito and Hashirama, but then again that happened often.

_ Line 2.

Taking time away from her team always was a hard one, but they were very good kids, and understood, though they had promised to train together. Meaning that they would meet up with Danzo, Kagami and Torifu as well. The six of them were literally hard to separate at times.

Tobirama sat in the meeting room of the academy, her legs and arms were crossed, and Madara was seated next to her. She was listening to one of Kazumi's teachers speak, and the fact that they want to push him so far ahead like that astounded her.

Madara was the first to speak though. "Wait, so you are saying that you've already ran him through some of the test for the higher grades, and he passed all of them?" he said, he sounded just and dumbfounded as Tobirama was.

The male, a Nara, nodded. "Yes, he's passed every test. But because he is so young, we figure at least have him go through another year…. It would make no sense to keep him longer. He's getting bored with the lessons already." He said to them.

"He is an amazing student." A Hyuuga spoke. "But it would be counterproductive to keep him in the academy longer, he may just end up lazy like a Nara." He said, eyeing his coworker. It was a playful tease. "We know that the academy is your idea, but we have nothing in place for students like this." He said to her. "This is all we can recommend; it would be our choice if you want him on a Genin team or not. But this is what we've decided on, if that okay?" he looked between the two of them.

Madara and Tobirama looked between each other for a moment. Tobirama then sighed. "I can't be helped." She said to them. "Alright, he will finish out this year, then you can put him in the higher class starting next year." She said lightly to them. She was not sure what to think now.

"We will mark that down then, thank you for your time." The Nara said, writing things down to have in Kazumi's file.

Tobirama stood with a small bow. "Thank you." She spoke. She then left the room with Madara right behind her.

Madara was the first to speak after they were outside. "I was thinking they would push up a year or two… Not push him all the way to the final year." He sighed slowly.

"They are right though, I never did put into account of what to do if a natural genius entered the academy, there should have been at least some advanced things put in that we knew he wouldn't know…" she said with a shake of her head. She would have to fix this at some point. But there was little to do now, it could take months to implement such a curriculum into the system, and by that point Kazumi will be done for the summer.

She sighed softly; her own son was challenging her ideas already. And it's only been six years that the academy has been open. She spent several years trying to figure things out for, to make it good. But she of course forgot one detail. It wasn't that she did not think another genius would show up.. She just did not think it would be this soon. She should have known better.

"Leave it to our son to challenge me already." She said to Madara.

A chuckle left his lips. "Kids are always full of surprises; you never know what they are going to do next." He said to her. "I am still a little stunned myself, honestly. Apparently even Hashirama is surprised by this." He said lightly to her. Hashirama had mentioned that apparently if they wanted to have genius for the future, Madara and Tobirama are the best ones to go to.

"We are not having any more kids; I don't care how he puts it." She said to Madara.

"No, I feel like Kazumi and Izuna are going to be enough of a hand full now." He said to her. He had settled on two kids anyways; he did not have a desire to have more at this point either.

"I guess we will have to look at potential Jonin instructors for him soon, he will graduate with next year's class, so he will have to be put with one of the older teams…." She had looked at the class size for the next year's graduating class, and it was miss matched anyways. So, it should not be hard to slot him in somewhere. Her mind was already working at the possibilities.

"You think loud, Tobi." Madara said with a chuckle. He moved over to her and gently pulled her into his side, his arm wrapping around her.

Tobirama chuckled slightly. "You've known this." She said to him.
It was always so irritating, that she was smaller than Madara, she was small even for an average woman. She shifted and leaned against his side, the people around them just moving on, as if it was just typical thing. Which it was, Madara had started being more public with her love for her not long after Kazumi was born, she always wondered if children would have a positive or negative impact on their, at the time, fragile relationship. But she had been proved that it had been a positive thing, the first time Madara had kissed her in the middle of the market, it was something that even Tobirama had not been expecting, and she had been embarrassed by it for days after. But she secretly had loved it.

So, when Madara kissed her again, she couldn't help but to melt into the kiss, her arms moving to wrap around Madara's shoulders, to hold herself closer to him. It was good for the public to see them do something like this, it would show that they were not just putting on a show of a happy little family, they were legitimately happy. And even now, not many people thought that, because they did not do a whole lot out in the public of the village itself, her and Madara did make it habit to hold hands and take a walk around the Uchiha compound, to continue to prove their point, now basically ten years into their marriage.

Madara pulled back just enough to offer her a small grin, and honestly Tobirama could not help but to remember one of the many reasons she had fallen in love with this mand, his kindness was boundless, and the fact that he had so much love for his family was respectable.

"You have got to stop grinning at me like that in public." She muttered softly.

The feeling of Madara's chuckle, with her pressed close to his chest, was always something that soothed her.

"Are you still so caught off guard by it?" he asked her, the tease was evident in his tone.

Tobirama huffed a chuckle herself, she shifted and gently nudged her shoulder against his chest. "That grin is the reason Kazumi was even conceived, months before we even really agreed to have children." She said to him. The first time they had sex after their first night of marriage, had been about four and half years later, they had already long been warmed up to each other, and really the only thing that had been keeping them apart was the fact they were both unsure. So sexual tension had grown between them, and one night it just snapped. Madara had grinned at her, in his cocky and sexy way. And she was unable to hold herself back at that point.

"Ah, yes. I remember that night well."

"of course you do, it's logged in your brain for the rest of your life." She huffed; it had been the first time she had allowed him to use his sharingan on her… It had taken a lot of trust, since she had still been leery of the sharingan.

Tobirama shifted and grabbed his hand, managing to pull away just as her students were running by.

"Tobirama-sensei!"
It was obviously Kagami, he was always the most excited to see her, out of the other five that she managed to have tagged onto her.

"Boys, Koharu." She nodded to them.

"So, word gets out fast, but is it really true that Kazumi will be kicked up to the last level of the academy?" he was Danzo, ever the one who wanted to know as much as he could, for what? She really could not tell. His intentions seemed innocent enough.

"Yes, that is correct. He will be put into one of the teams with graduating class next year." She said to him.

Hiruzen grinned a bit. "That's not really a shock, you and Madara are probably the smartest ones in the village, it's only natural that your kids would be as well." He said to her.

And Tobirama remembered why she favored Hiruzen, it was not a good thing to do, and she knew this well. But he was such a good soul, no mater what way you looked at it. She gently ruffled his hair. "You always give me too much praise, boy." She said softly.

Madara leaned over and kissed her hair. "I better get back to the office, your brother is probably drowning right now. And I am not even joking."

She knew he was not, Hashirama's workload was a lot, so she and Madara tended to help when they could, Madara more so than her now. She was dividing mom duty with training her team. She waved the other off and turned back to look at the kids. "So, that mean's Kazumi will be joining your ranks soon, and I am sure it's a bit odd... But be nice, he's already being criticized in the academy as is." She said softly.

Kagami frowned a bit. "I heard about what my cousin did, his mom dealt with him." He said lightly.

Tobirama nodded. "He's a smart kid, and unfortunately people like to pick on the smart ones sometimes." She said to them. "But training will resume tomorrow, same time as always." She said to them. "And I can expect to see your three as well?" she asked the other three. "Has your sensei ditched you?"

Kagami rubbed his neck a bit, chuckling. "Well… He thinks you would do a better job... and just stopped showing up to train us." He said to her.

"… Nara's…" she groaned softly.

She really hated those lazy asses sometimes.

She then gently herded them on. "Alright, lets go. I'll pay for you all to have something to eat this afternoon." She said, enjoying the joyed sounds of their cheering.

She really loved this.
