An Ultimate Betrayal-Ch 3
Penelope stood by Dereks side as he answered all of the detectives questions and as the other officers were heading out onto the porch one said, "this is a crime scene and I'm afraid that you won't be able to stay here Mr. Morgan, at least for tonight". Derek sighed and said, "thanks", he then ran his hand over his head and said, "is it okay if I head upstairs and grab some clothes"?, the officer nodded his head and said, "sure, they're finished dusting and taking pictures up there".
Derek looked at his baby girl and said, "wanna come up and help me pack"?, she grinned and said, "sure thing hotstuff", she then intertwined fingers with him as he led her toward the stairs. Once they were sure he was out of hearing range Emily said, "okay so what are we going to do now"?, Dave said, "if somebody is after Derek and Penelope we have to do whatever it takes to keep them safe".
Reid said, "well they are definitely taunting Morgan, first they break into his house and destroy everything and then to make things even worse they leave another taunt about Penelope". Dave said, "an attack on one of us is an attack on us all", the team all nodded their heads yes in agreement.
Hotch said, "I'm going to see if I can't get some agents to be placed in the area of Penelopes apartment so that way we can make sure she's safe". JJ said, "I'd say right about now Penelope is saying something like angel fish you can come and stay with me".
Reid grinned and said, "and he's saying, "now baby girl you don't have to put yourself out like that" causing the rest of the team to smile. Meanwhile upstairs Penelope watches as her boyfriend throws some clothes into his suitcase and heads to the bathroom to grab his shaving kit.
She said, "angel fish you know that you can come and stay with me", Derek smiled and said, "thanks baby girl but I don't want you putting yourself out like that". Penelope said, "welllllllll it only makes sense that we stay together because that taunt on the wall makes it look like they are coming after me too", Derek nodded his head and said, "yeah it does, so yes sweetness I would love to come and stay with you".
Penelope smiled and intertwined fingers with her boyfriend as they headed out of his destroyed bedroom and head downstairs to join the others. Reid said, "listen Morgan you know that you can come stay with us" and Dave said, "same goes for me and your mom", Hotch said, "or you can come stay with us".
Derek said, "thanks guys but baby girl offered so I think I'll stay with her, that way I can make sure that she's safe from whoever is doing this", Hotch nodded his head and said, "good idea and I've got the all clear for agents to be assigned to watch Penelopes apartment tonight, just to be on the safe side" causing Derek and Penelope to both smile" as they walked hand-in-hand out the front door behind the rest of the team.
Across town the two men laugh as they sit enjoying their beer, one looks at the other and says, "I bet the look on his face was priceless when he saw that his house had been destroyed". The other man said, "well he's going to learn his place and the sooner he learns that it isn't with Penelope the better" and they both clinked bottles and downed the rest of their beers.
The younger of the two looked up and said, "so when does the next phase of our plan start"?, the other man said, "let's give it a few days, we don't want to much to happen to fast, we want to catch them off guard" and the younger man said, "righttttttttt, good idea" as he opened another beer.
At Penelopes apartment she opens the door and says, "welcome to casa Garcia", Derek kissed her lips and said, "thanks for letting me stay here sweetness". She shut and locked the door and said, "you are welcome here anytime sweetie, you know that", Derek wrapped his arms around her and rested his forehead against hers and said, "I love you".
She smiled and said, "and I love you", he kissed her lips again and said, "I'm sorry that tonight got ruined", she said, "awwww hotstuff, it's not your fault, so stop blaming yourself". He said, "well we were having an amazing time and now it's all blown straight to he" and before he could finish his sentence her lips were on his in a passionate kiss.
He moaned against her lips as he thrust his tongue inside her mouth, earning a moan of pleasure from Penelope who slowly started backing up through the beaded curtains that led to her bedroom. They pulled apart and Derek grinned as she said, "this oracle wants dessert and she has her eyes on some amazing chocolate".
Derek kissed her lips and said, "what would I do without you"?, she kissed his lips and said, "you're never going to find that out because I'm here and I'm not going anywhere" as they started throwing their clothes everywhere and soon they were falling back on the bed wrapped in each others arms as they started making passionate love as they worked to forget all of the bad that had happened tonight Derek couldn't help but pray that the worst was indeed over.
