Great so far. Nice how Raya learns to forgive form Sisu. It would be nice to see how Sisu reacts to the two making up. Would be nice if Sisu and Raya swam and if they convince Naamari to join in.
Aaaw. I enjoyed how they two got together. Raya sure learned from Sisu to forgive. Would be nice to see Sisu's reaction to the two getting together. She wanted them to, and she's happy to see them make up. She's a sweet dragon... who could teach humans to act on mercy and forgiveness is teed of arrogance and revenge., It would also be nice to see moments the two spend with Sisu... including some swimming scenes.
Ever since the Druun has been defeated, the dragons returned along with harmony as Kumandra was united once more, as it was hundreds of years ago. Raya and Namaari became friends after being enemies for six long years, or at least, they were still trying to be friends. Despite living in two completely different territories, one living in the lands of Heart while the other lived in the lands of Fang, the two young women both promised that they would pay occasional visits to each other once in a while.
Namaari rode on the feline as she entered the lands of Heart alone. She was wearing her usual attire, a long-pierced earring on her left ear, a beige tank top, a gold belt with a crimson sash, baggy pants, dark boots, and gold arm bracelets on both of her biceps. The same outfit she wore whenever she went outdoors and not in her room. Despite having been here on diplomatic matters as Heart has literally transformed into the heart of Kumandra, becoming the center of the kingdom, Namaari never ceased to be amazed by how beautiful and majestic the lands of Heart truly were. As she approached the bridge leading towards the palace, she saw a familiar face already standing there.
Raya was already waiting for her and was wearing her usual save for the vest, a yellow shirt, a brown belt, olive green jeans with light green stripes on them.
"The princess of Heart," Namaari greeted gleamingly as she got down her cat. "Do you really wear that all the time?" asked Namaari chuckling as she eyed her appearance.
"What? You got a problem with that Princess Undercut?" Raya teased.
"So just look so informal. You're waiting for me this whole time?" asked Namaari curiously as she figured that Raya must've been standing there for quite a while.
"Well, obviously, I was. Couldn't let you arrive without welcoming you," Raya said smiling as she looked at the huge feline behind Namaari. "Your cat?" asked Raya lifting an eyebrow.
"Obviously. You know Fang," Namaari shrugged as she leads the feline forward, stroking her cat.
"Hmm~ Come along, I'm sure we can find accommodation for the both of you," Raya said waving her arm, gesturing Namaari to follow, which the princess did. "So, how were you dep la?"
"Ah you know… less action for boring times in a meeting," Namaari shrugged sighingly. "I mean, we both been so used to action."
"Huh, tell me about it. We had been at each other's necks for six years," Raya chuckled awkwardly as she walked alongside Namaari. "I hope repairs are going well."
"They are actually, although it would take a while to rebuild the place, it has just been weeks after all," Namaari said.
"Yeah, everyone is still adjusting," Raya agreed while looking around.
"Well, at least the people and even dragon are helping," said Namaari smiling.
"Oh, by the way, talking about dragons. Have you seen Sisu?" asked Raya, curiosity filled her voice.
"Uhm… well, to think of it, only saw her a couple of times, soaring through the skies on the way here," Namaari tried to recall. "Well then again, Sisu isn't the only blue dragon. She didn't come and visit you?" asked Namaari concerned.
"Well, yeah. Probably busy with helping Kumandra rebuild and all," said Raya sighing. "Just good to know that she is alright," Raya said as she looked at the waters as they walked across the bridge.
"Of course, she is fine, she is a dragon," Namaari said plainly.
"Well, don't forget, you… I…" Raya stopped she knew she shouldn't bring this up anymore. 'Never mind."
Namaari didn't need to hear what Raya was going to say to know what she was going to say. And it was clear in her head, she was hugely responsible for killing Sisu, and almost destroying the world as everyone knew it, twice in fact. Even Raya and Sisu both said they forgave her countless times, she still felt a pang of immense guilt and weight in her. Namaari and Raya both strolled towards the palace in silence as the atmosphere around them grew awkward, not speaking to one another until Raya broke the silence.
"So, what do you wanna do?" asked Raya awkwardly looking at the princess of Fang as they reached the end of the bridge.
"Aren't you supposed to tell me?" asked Namaari dryly.
"Oh? Yeah… Hmm… how about you and I go for a walk throughout the grounds?" asked Raya.
"The grounds? I'm pretty sure I've seen enough of the palace," Namaari said looking at Raya unsurely.
"Yeah, you did. Inside, but not outside," Raya said smiling as she turned around, walking towards Tuk, Tuk, who was already waiting.
"Wait, where are we going Raya?" asked Namaari curiously. "I haven't unpacked my stuff yet!"
"Just follow me, Nam," Raya said as she got on Tuk Tuk casually as before her pet rolled up.
And the pair were off, traveling around the place and down on a road that Namaari was sure that she never been on before despite her visits to the lands of Heart. The scenery around her shifted once more as she rode after Raya, just when she thought that the lands couldn't get any more beautiful, she was in awe after they came through a clearing of a patch of forest that was seemingly behind the palace. In front of them is a lake, greens all around the place, a beautiful patch of lands and waters.
"Wow, this place is beautiful," Namaari said in awe as she looked around her, she could hear the birds chirpings, the wind blowing on the trees, the sound of nature. Looking across the lake as he got down her feline.
"Indeed, it is," Raya agreed, smiling as she got down Tuk Tuk, as her faithful pet and friend opened up and crawled on the ground.
"Wait… why did you bring me here?" asked Namaari, a bit confused as she admired the view. A view as beautiful as this in the lands of Fang somewhat felt impossible to the princess of Fang.
"Why else? Would you rather stay in the palace the whole day?" asked Raya carefreely. "This place is the best place to hang out, other than the 'training grounds' of course," Raya air-quoted at the princess.
"Well, it would be fun to whoop your ass again," Namaari chuckled smirkingly as walked up towards Raya.
"What do you mean whoop my ass? I was going easy on you the last time dep la," Raya reminded, lying of course.
"Really? Didn't seem like it," Namaari said smirkingly. "How about we go another round?" asked Namaari challengingly.
Raya just chuckled as she looked across the lake. "Seriously, Nam, is fighting the only thing you do for fun?" asked Raya folding her arms as she turned towards the girl.
"Can't blame a girl who has been going into action ever since seven," Namaari shrugged.
"That's a terrible excuse. My father has been training me to become the guardian of the dragon gem since seven too," Raya scoffed. "You don't see me looking for a fight," Raya pointed out.
"Fair enough," the princess of Fang shrugged. "What do you have in mind anyway?" asked Namaari curiously.
"I don't know, maybe just chat?" asked Raya with humour and sarcasm in her voice as she sat down along the banks of the lake which Namaari followed, sitting down close to Raya, looking at the scenery in front of her. Even though it was morning and close to noon, the sun wasn't blazing hot, in fact, the place felt cool as soft wind blew.
"You know, I don't think the other lands have such beautiful scenery as Heart," Namaari said.
"Really?" asked Raya skeptically.
"It's true," Namaari said before silence resumed between them once more. "Seriously though, Raya, what should we do? This is getting awkward," Namaari said groaningly. "Did you actually plan anything?"
"Well, to be honest, I thought you would be the more talkative one," Raya rubbed the back of her head awkwardly.
"Gosh, seriously? So… we stare at each other now?" asked Namaari groaning.
Before Raya could respond, something caught her eye, huge ripples in the water of the lake, and with a huge splash, a blue, spindly looking dragon that the two princesses were all too familiar with by now appeared before them, flying out the water before landing on the banks of the lake, shaking her body, splashing water all over the two women, who tried to shield themselves, but eventually were soaked as well.
"Ah~ that felt so good~" Sisu groaned relaxingly as she stretched herself before opening her eyes to notice two very wet girls. "Oh, hey there Raya and her girlfriend," Sisu greeted casually smiling. "On a date?"
"What!? Namaari's not my girlfriend!" Raya quickly corrected loudly, blushing a bit from the embarrassment while Namaari was shaking water from her hand.
"Oh, come on, I was just messing with you Raya," Sisu said chucklingly as she crawled towards the princess of Heart. "Ooh~ you two look… wet… did you two went swimming?" asked Sisu curiously, eyeing Raya, whose hair was obviously drenched along with her clothes while Namaari just stared at Sisu in disbelief.
"Well, you kinda soaked us when you came out of the water," Namaari said dryly.
"Did I? Oopsie," Sisu said, not sounding sorry at all. In fact, she was very much humored. "My bad."
"What are you doing here anyway?" asked Raya turning towards the dragon.
"What? Can't I visit my friends now?" asked Sisu fake poutingly before pulling Raya and Namaari into a tight hug.
"Yeah… Nice to see you again… Sisu," Raya grunted.
"Yeah, real nice," Namaari added straining before Sisu let them go.
"Nice to see you two hanging out!" Sisu said with that same old grin on her face as she circled the two women excitedly. "What are you two up to?"
"Nothing much at the moment," Raya answered.
"Well, why don't join me? For a swim?" Sisu suggested brightly.
"Wait… what?" asked Namaari a bit surprised, blinking,
"Swimming? Doesn't sound too bad," Raya said as she looked at Namaari. "Plus, we are already wet, no difference," Raya shrugged as she walked towards the water to join Sisu who was already in the water floating on the surface, looking at the two.
"Namaari? Aren't you joining?" asked Sisu as she noticed the princess of Fang was not advancing forward.
"Uhmm… I'm good," Namaari said looking at the dragon and the princess.
"Come on Nam~ Live a little," Raya chuckled as she dragged the princess of Fang along.
"Raya... really I don't really feel like swimming," Namaari said looking at the waters as Raya held her hand.
"Don't worry about drowning really. The lake is safe," Sisu assured as Raya nudged Namaari towards the lake playfully.
"Urgh… fine," Namaari said as she took off her sandals and dipped her feet in the water. "Gah! It's cold!" Namaari jumped a little.
"Really? It's not that bad," Sisu shrugged.
"Come on Nam~ You will get used to it," Raya encourages as she held Namaari's hand, leading her down the water. "Oh gosh… this is cold," Raya shivered a bit as the water level was at their hips.
"Come on, you two are just exaggerating~" Sisu teased. "Oh, you two so look like a couple."
"Sisu!" Both of the women groaned in unison, looking at the dragon.
"Just kidding," Sisu chuckled gleamingly as the women went deeper into the waters.
"There… slowly," Raya said calmly as she leads Namaari into the water, deeper as they go.
"Now that wasn't so bad, was it?" asked Sisu eyeing the two young women.
"Maybe," Namaari said unsurely as she walked, feeling the bottom of the lake.
"Come on, relax, if anything happens, I can save you~," Sisu said relaxingly as they sank in the water.
"Ahh~ Feels fresh," Raya said as she swam around as Namaari moved awkwardly.
"Nam?" asked Raya.
"Yeah?" Namaari asked, looking at Raya.
"You doing good?" asked Raya concerned.
"Yeah, yeah. Just not used to the water," Namaari shrugged as she walked over to Raya slowly, leaving further away from the banks of the lake, getting closer to Raya and Sisu, who was in front of her.
"Hmm~ How about I help?" asked Sisu smirking.
"How?" asked Raya.
"I can help by doing this!" Sisu said loudly as she made a big splash with her tail, splashing both Namaari and Raya with a large wave of water, engulfing the both of them. Raya got pushed down into the waters before pushing herself back up to the surface
"Gahh! Sisu!" Raya groaned as she rubbed her face and looked around. "Wait… where is Namaari?"
"Wait what?" Sisu's expression changed, worried.
"Nam! Where are you?" Raya looked around frantically. "Nam, Namaari?"
"Oh no no no… what did I do?" Sisu muttered as she shifted around frantically, looking around. "Namaari?"
"Namaari! Na- Ahh!" Raya exclaimed as she felt something wrapped around her legs, pulling her down into the water.
"Raya!?" Sisu said frantically and she was about to dive down into the waters to grab Raya and Namaari right as Raya came out of the water gasping as Namaari laughed out loud while water ran down both of them.
"Ooh! I got you good Raya," Namaari chuckled as Raya just looked at the princess of Fang in disbelief, pantingly.
"Don't scare me like that… Gosh!" Raya panted as she looked at the laughing princess.
"Did you seriously think that after 6 years of running from the Druun, I wouldn't know how to swim?" asked Namaari wheezing as she looked at Raya.
"Still… did you… gosh," Raya looked at Namaari while Sisu circled them looking at them joining in Namaari's laughter.
"You gotta hand it to her Raya. It was quite a prank," Sisu chuckled. "I really did fell for it."
"Ahh… at least you both are having fun," Raya scoffed, looking at Namaari then at Sisu.
"Hmph, maybe I am," Namaari smirked.
"Well, let's see how you like this!" Raya said as she got down below the waters and pulled Namaari down. The two girls struggled underwater a bit before they both surfaced.
"Really, don't you two lovebirds got anything better to do than drown each other," Sisu said smirkingly as they both came out of the waters panting.
"Sisu, for the last time, Raya and I are not-" Namaari pointed out panting.
"Yeah yeah, I know Nam~," Sisu said teasingly. "Just kidding. It's nice to see the two of you hanging out together," Sisu said smilingly. "You know, after seeing you both fighting each other the last time."
"We remember that Sisu, no need to remind us," Raya groaned.
"Just saying," Sisu shrugged smilingly, looking at the pair. "By the way, bet you two couldn't beat me in a swimming race," Sisu challenged.
"Oh are you that confident?" asked Namaari smirkingly.
"Uhmm, hello? I'm a dragon, remember?" asked Sisu plainly, raising her eyebrow. "Plus, I'm a good swimmer."
"Why don't we find out?" Raya smirked, looking at Sisu, then at Namaari.
"You two are kidding right," Sisu chuckled. "There is no way you two could beat me at my own game."
"Ooh, it's on dep la," Namaari chuckled smirkingly as she looked at the two. "What? Sisu? Scared?"
"You wish," Sisu smirked as she looked at the two young women.
Sounds of laughter and joy could be heard around the lake, as a dragon and two princesses have their fun.
