Chapter 3: Control

"Chise…"

She blinked. Had she fallen asleep on the bed? She quickly sat up and gave herself head rush. Elias was staring back at her seated on the bed.

"She provided me with a meal if you would like. Are you alright?"

"Yea, I guess I just dozed off."

"Ah, well perhaps some food."

He handed her the platter.

"Did I do something to offend you Chise?"

"No…not at all." She sat it on her legs.

"I want this to be the perfect honeymoon. But I cannot promise the things that might not be guaranteed."

"I just want to spend time with you. I guess I was worried. You've been there for me through everything, and I thought maybe I would mess things up somehow." Chise put the food on the table next to the bed and looked at Elias.

"I took you as my bride, but I do not even know if someone like me can have a child. I do not even really like children. I am needy. I am afraid that I will also mess things up Chise. If I let myself become too reckless with you-"

"Elias, all we can do is the best we can." She put her hand on his cheek. The feeling of skin felt foreign. She saw past this human appearance he took on.

"I will try to stay like this and do the best that I can to be what you deserve Chise." His calm cool voice always gave her a sense of reassurance. "Would you like to-"

She didn't wait another moment. Sick of waiting. Sick of the risk that tomorrow might be her last day, or that she would miss another chance that she had been thrown into now that Elias was in her life.

The unfamiliar feeling of skin touching her lips. Of lips touching lips. Had she known love? Yes, as a child. But she also knew loss.

"Chise." His voice grew a bit hoarser between their lips. "I will do my best."

His fingers moved over her shoulder, delicate. Careful as he had always held her – not possessive as he had been when he had let his emotions rule his being. He was trying.

"I know this is not how I normally look…"

"Do you think I care how you look?" Chise broke away for a moment.

"Well on the presumption I am normally a monster I suppose not…but-"

"I do not care how you look."

"So if I took my monstrous form you would not mind?"

"No."

"See this is why you are dangerous to me Chise."

She looked up at him, now beneath him on the pillows.

"You are one of the few who do not judge me for that which I am in the shadows. And what I am in the shadows is hard to tame. And yet you still stay with me." This time Elias initiated the kiss. His movements were a bit more awkward, but she leant it to the fact that he was not used to human ways. It didn't matter.

It started a fire in her. A new one. One she wasn't sure how she could put out.

"I want to touch and explore every part of you Chise. But you must prepare to stop me if I-"

"Then do it." Chise, imploring her bold side, the side of her that took control when Elias was unsure took over.

His hands moved beneath the fold of her robe, finding a place on her breast. This fire was igniting – she would never blame him for losing control like this. If he felt as she did now, how could she?

Her hand started to move, around his chest to his shoulders. Their robes falling loose onto each other.

"Do you want this Chise?"

"Yes." She whispered into his ear. Perhaps she wasn't thinking straight, but she knew she loved Elias. Every part of his damn demonic, possessive and innocent soul.

His fingers moved to her waist. Her body seemed to flinch in reaction. It was new to her.

His hand moved to her core and slipped up between the folds. She let out a moan that caused him to stop and grunt briefly.

"Control…" He huffed out hoarsely.

She caught his eyes, they flashed red. "I trust you, Elias." She whispered before kissing him on the cheek.

His fingers moved up inside her causing an electric reaction. She muffled another moan.

He moved again, moving in and out of her at a quicker pace.

She moved her chest up in reaction as it caused her chest to brush against his. He made a grunting noise again – somewhere between release and forced constraint.

"Are you …ok?" She panted.

"I will-be…fine. I am not as versed as I should be however…."

She leaned forward and kissed him on his human nose, as if she would in his normal form. "I love you, Elias."

He pressed his head forward to hers. "And I you, and you have helped me see that Chise. Let me attempt one more thing."

His face moved below to her waist and she felt her skin turn the color of her hair with him in such a vulnerable place.

His soft tongue moved between her legs, causing her to jump slightly.

"Does it hurt?"

"No-I…" She used her own hand to muffle her moans.

"When you sound like that Chise, something comes over me…"

She made an involuntary noise again, surprised by the dexterity of his tongue. She couldn't dare look at him, embarrassed, so she covered her eyes for a moment.

Elias, lost in the white arching skin he saw moving above him, clenched his fists, in an attempt to try to control his impulse, the shiver turning him away from this human skin.

She suddenly cried out as she felt his tongue reach inside her. It wriggled to depths she had yet to become fully aware of. Her body shuddered.

His hands clenched harder at her waist and seemed to grab more of her skin-

She blinked. Elias.

She looked down mid moan to see Elias in his normal form, his wolverine tongue moving from his skulled face. A dull pressure of his teeth over her stomach and rear as if he was almost eating her from below. But his red eyes were cross holding himself in determination from going further down this rabbit hole.

She felt pleasure, but at what expense of his grief to remain as he was?

"Elias, stop." She muffled between moans. She kicked her food slightly into his shoulder.

He stopped briefly, with heaving breaths. "Too-far—Chise?"

"I just-it was good, I just didn't want you to-" She took the bone of his chin in her hand to guide him up to her face, bringing him once again to meet her eyes. "Are you okay Elias?"

"As long as you are this is all that matters. Did I hurt you?" His voice remained husky and strained.

She had to bite her lip from words spewing out about her newfound feeling. "Elias, far from it." She kissed his face as he fell against the bed to her side.

"I cannot maintain that form, not with how you look I-"

She suddenly realized it was more than just his form that changed. There was a rather large tent in his pants.

"You have done plenty for me, but can I do enough for you…Elias I don't want you to-"

"I want all of you and it's maddening. I am afraid my possessive self will take control. I am rathe abhorrent to be in such a state."

"Please Elias. Here we are alone, on the terms we do not destroy this place…which, I'm not sure but I am kind of sure you could do…we will figure this out."
