Episode 3: A Family Worth Fighting For
"Star Do you think our parents will forgive us for what we did just running off like that."
"Marco I don't know it's gonna be a very long shot but we have to see them let them know we're OK maybe begin mending the bridge that we broke between them."
"Yeah I guess you're right Star I think we have a chance to actually prove ourselves that we did the right thing a new start for all of us including your parents and us and my parents and anyone in this world. We will have a lot of work to do to improve our relationships with them but I think they will forgive us. I love you Star for everything that you do to remind me that there's positivity always in any of our situations when we work together."
"Yeah I like that idea and I love you too Marco.
They were almost towards the monster castle when they noticed something different about it right next-door was Marco Diaz's house. It was like magic decided that Marco and Star needed to be right next to each other. They reach the monster temple and this is what played out.
"Star, can you believe that our houses are right next to each other? It's like another sign magic wants us to enjoy this last gift from it."
"Yeah I see that Marco well I guess we need to do it you ready?"
"No Star could we maybe do this together for both our families?"
"I was gonna ask you the same question Marco. I'm scared but we need to face this so which house do you want to start at mine or yours."
"Let's begin with my family Star. I think they'll understand a little bit better what happened but it still could backfire so be prepared."
"I always am prepared when I'm with you Marco."
Star and Marco approached the Diaz's family door and they knocked, waiting for someone to answer the door. It was answered by Angie Diaz Marcos Mom.
"Marco is that really you it is mom I am home and I brought a guest."
"What guest" Angie Asked?
"Mom, dad meet the love of my life, the person I ran for and she's lived here before Star Butterfly."
Rafael and Angie were completely shocked; they thought Star Butterfly had returned to Mewni and that she was stuck there forever Since magic had been destroyed. Janna had filled them in when she was brought back to life.
They Asked what happened and how she was back.
"Mom dad we cleaved Earth and Mewni together."
They explained to the Diaz's how they had done it and what happened in the Realm of magic and they understood why they were back together.
"I'm so happy for you Mijo. I can't believe you and Star were able to do something beyond our wildest dreams now we can live with Mewni forever. We will finally get to meet Star's parents and be able to actually get to know them and maybe we'll get to have new journeys together with them. And we support you both being together as a couple. You guys are a true definition of a love that can cross dimensions even bringing them together when needed."
"I knew the minute that we met Star Butterfly that we were able to trust her and knew that eventually You Two Would become a couple."
"Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Diaz for trusting me with Marco and I won't break your trust."
"Star Don't call us Mr. and Mrs. Diaz we don't like that we're old you guys are young call us Angie and Rafael Star One day I have a feeling you too will be married together and it will be a great day when That Occurs. I also kind of figured out that something occurred when I literally looked next-door and there is a temple standing ten times the height over shadowing our little house. Let's go talk to Star's parents and let them know that you're OK and that we trust you with Marco."
They travel to the monster temple and track their way up to the top and the top of the stairs they noticed Moon, River, and Globgore with Baby Meteora with tears running down their eyes at The site they were beholding.
"Star I can't believe it's you I thought I lost you come to mom."
"Mom I'm so sorry that I ran from You but I had to be with Marco. I loved him all my life and I was willing to be with him even to death."
Star and Marco explained their story about how they were in the magical dimension and everything that happened there including them cleaving Earth and Mewni together. All that Moon cared about was that her daughter was safe and with her family again.
"Star Let me tell you this always remember that we will continue to love you in all decisions that you make and if that includes running off to be with Marco we will support you you're a young adult a beautiful young girl no young woman I keep forgetting that you're almost 16 and I shouldn't be calling you young girl anymore."
Mom don't worry I'm not leaving you now I have everything now that I mean with everything here with being with my family and being with the love of my life. Marco I love you."
"I love you too Star now that is said and done I think we have a new life ahead of us and we need to find some Friends who are waiting for us to come and join them."
Star and Marco Ran Down The Monster temple to go and search for their friends and finally reunite with them leaving Star And Marcos' parents to be alone in the Monster Temple.
"It is so good to finally Meet the two of you in an actual formal sitting and not just you deciding to ask us if we would host your daughter while she was on Earth."
"We Are Rafael and Angie Diaz and you have met our amazing son."
"Indeed it is good to finally get to meet with you and of all places for the meeting to occur it would be in a cleaved world that our own children made with their love for each other. But who is the little one in the sling on your chest Angie?"
"Oh yeah this Is Mariposa Diaz she is the young sister to Marco and our most happiest decision to have made in a long time. I have a question: Why did you decide to Place Star on Earth and place her within our care like you knew something we didn't since you trusted us to take care of her for 6 months?"
"The reason why we chose your family and son is because while we were scouting for a host family since we didn't know who we should ask and trust so when we arrived at Echo Creek and met him we noticed something in him that would work well for our beautiful daughter Star. He was able to keep her in check so that she didn't stray too far away from why she was on Earth. Marco is someone special and I thank you for raising him so well and making it so he could handle what was going on with Star."
"I see so you in the spur of the moment placed her with him here so that she would be kept safe since I understand she did get a little wild at times with her magic causing her to go out of control and we would notice he would always bring her back into reality and make sure she didn't do anything dumb or destructive to often. Star also was a perfect fit for him since it allowed for him to be a little bit more dangerous and have adventures with her and show the side he wanted people to see. The adventurous side not the side of Being the Safe Kid who doesn't have any adventure or takes risks. Thank You Moon and River she was perfect for him to have a balance of Adventure to be safe."
"Thank You too Angie we needed someone like Marco to teach her there is more than just magic and that you can do things without it since the first day she had our royal wand she set our kingdom on fire and if it wasn't for me we would of had a repeat of Skywynne Butterflies Mother where the castle was set on fire and the history was lost so we would not want a repeat to occur."
"But what would have happened if she did mess up and destroy something on Earth?"
"Well we would have fixed it and make everyone not remember what happened."
"She would have been sent to Saint Olga's For Wayward Princesses to learn the mistakes she made and prepare her to one day inherit the kingdom she would have been destined to. Now sending her to Saint O's would have been a cruel punishment since it was in a way a prison for Princesses and they made your personality almost non-existent which would have ruined us since we wanted her to be her with the ability to know her decisions have consequences."
"She learned that well since she would be the one to teach us the ways of our errors and realize that Magic had consequences which we didn't take seriously and it caused major damage not only to the Kingdom but her relationship with me since I made a mistake I didn't see the consequences too. I understand now why she thought of you as a mother and her own parents since you let her have the freedom to explore and be able to grow and learn her actions came with repercussions."
"We both made mistakes with our children but we can learn and grow. We see what we can fix and now we just do it. Remember that nothing will take back what happened and remember that since without certain actions other events may have never played out the same and it would change history. So you did the Right thing Moon and always remember that so you always continue to improve."
"Thanks and I guess now is the great time for us to grow and improve since we have to look at the new world we have to explore and see we should always be one family since one day we'll be together as a family for Star and Marco."
"I agree and maybe if we are all in agreeance maybe while the Iron is Hot why don't we go on a camping trip to be a family for the first time."
"I agree Rafael it is the best Idea you have had in awhile.
"I have never been camping before, what is it?" "Well my wife you see It is where you go into mother nature and explore and live within it with a little bit of help from inventions that mankind has made so we stay dry and warm and some don't even sleep on the ground but I would say we should ruff house it since it such an amazing right of passage for someone to camp at least once."
"I see we will have to work on plans at some point."
Eclipsa had come in from taking care of Meteora and asked what was going on since she recognized the personality in Marcos' parents and it made her wonder how they got there without magic.
"Um Hello Mr. and Mrs. Diaz."
"You must be Eclipsa, it's so good to finally meet you."
"How did you get here I really would like to know?"
A quick briefing of what happened with Star and Marco cleaving The Two worlds together.
"Wow I never thought They had something inside of them."
"I know it's so weird to think we are able to see people we never thought of meeting in person."
"I wonder what is everyone's opinion on the subject of Cleaving Earthni?"
"Well Eclipsa I think it will take some getting used to seeing sights I never thought could exist and seeing Star Happy makes me know that everything will be okay. I see that they belong together and it's hard to think she had given all of that up to destroy magic. To fix a mistake I made since I thought Mina could be trusted when in the end it was me who got the details wrong. She turned on me and I never realized that she still had her hatred of monsters fueling her even further. I now realized that the monsters are just like us living life with purpose and they want to accomplish that to their fullest potential."
"Moon you put that perfectly and I also get to be with the best camping person ever makes it a pretty sweet deal."
"Me and Globgore finally get the opportunity to be ourselves and live out our lives to do our best at raising our beautiful Daughter which makes it awesome since in a way we all have the ability to have a new start for a brighter future."
"I agree Eclipsa and our opinion is that we have already seen a positive impact on the cleaving of Earthni since we now have so many locations we have never seen and so much to do that we never thought it would be possible but I am happy for our children to be in love with each other since they have proved that they can accomplish a lot together and that their future is bright so we know they will lead us in a better direction than we went."
"Like Buff Frog said Our Generation is garbage but children's generation looks bright" Moon said.
"That is so true I think they will be just fine."
"Hey Moon I wonder if Star has a connection with her emotions and her ability to cast magic?"
"What Eclipsa, why does that matter?"
"Well you see she did magic so much better than either of us and the power she had possessed makes me think of an ability she had heard of before known as Emotions Magic."
"I guess it could be possible but she never did show signs showing that her emotion could bring out her energy."
"Well I think we have some planning to do since after all if we want the perfect camping trip we need time to plan."
The Parents begin planning the trip of all their lives as Star and Marco make their way to the park to reunite with friends waiting for them, some for a long time some not so long.
Episode 4: Now Will Be Just Friends Again
"Marco Do you know where they might be all of our friends here on Earthni well Janna was with the EMT's so I don't know if she's been released yet since she did pull off that stunt for me they probably sent her to the hospital to be evaluated to make sure her heart wasn't failing Pretty much to cover their butts that they don't have a wrongful death so many rules and procedures from Earth."
"What Is The Medical System that comes from Earth?"
"Well the system is composed of doctors and nurses who have learned and studied the human body and how each system functions within. Some go into specific fields of medicine then some are in general medicine which focuses on the body as a whole and being able to help diagnose anything and refer to those that are needed to treat the condition."
"Wow so it's a much bigger system then I thought and those that choose to go into medicine do so much don't they."
"Indeed I had a dream about becoming a nurse but knowing what happened I don't think I want to continue in pursuing medicine."
"So other than Janna Where do you think our friends are?"
"Well the rest probably are actually at the park."
"Before I got on Jackie's Skate Board to chase the portal I told her that I was going after you and that I didn't know what was going to happen and that once everything was said and done I would meet them at the park if I was on Earth Still. So let's go!"
Star and Marco traveled to the park. To their surprise all of their friends known on Earth, even Tom was at The park it made them so excited to see their friends for the first time after everything that went down.
"Tom!" Star had yelled out as he responded by waiving back with a great smile on his face.
Marco Noticed Jackie Lynn And waived to her which made her happy and she waived back to him.
As they got closer the rest of their friends started running towards them to wrap them in a big hug realizing that they thought they lost Star and Marco forever.
Janna Spoke First "Marco Diaz I never thought that you would be the person with so much love could bring two worlds together."
"I know but I love Star so much. When did they release you Janna?"
I never went to the hospital. They released me from the EMTs immediately and I told them what I did. They actually were surprised someone could do that and I explained that I I had a connection to demons and could do that on command the fact that I went 65 seconds. I was proud I went farther than I had ever done before Tom taught me how.
Star was blushing now
"Tom I never thought you'd fall in love with a human."
"Well she has a connection that I never thought any normal human could have. She does things that I never thought I could do and she taught them to me and then I helped her in the ways that I could. She knew so much that I sometimes feel like she is part Demon but I have never known a human to be part Demon."
Star sensed that there was a connection to Tom and Janna but she didn't wanna reference anything just in case they were to get mad at her and she didn't wanna deal with having someone mad at her today.
"That's good to know Janna I guess we all have changed in the last little bit but when did Tom teach you how to go longer than sixty seconds passed out?"
Well I thought it would be beneficial for her and I was right. I taught her on our day trip that we had some fun riding in boots that I found out was one of the boots from the Solarian warriors oops. You and Marco Diaz were able to get to the big gas rainbow portal on each part of the worlds bringing them together as one and you both are more happy than ever as boyfriend and girlfriend."
Something Star never Thought Tom Would bring up about them.
"Yeah that was a big oops moment all parts of the whole Solarian Warriors that were created but it is over now and we will grow from it making it possible to change and have a better future learning from our mistakes" Marco stated
"Tom I wonder if you knew I had feelings for Marco when you broke up with me?"
"Yes Star I felt like staying would force you to look past Marco since you were already with me." She went up and hugged him expressing her care for him caring about her feelings.
"I Felt like I was stopping something great between you two so I stepped out and away from the whole loving you since I was just beating a dead horse."
Marco joined Star hugging Tom thanking him for being a great friend and even first love for Star.
Now it was Jackie's Turn To express her friendship to the both of them.
"Star, and Marco I am glad to see you together and happy. Marco I see why you ran to her sophomore year instead of being with me. It was never meant to be but friendship for us and I accept that but remember to treat that Girl Of Yours Right Be more a friend than a boyfriend to her."
This Made Star Blush Marco Following Suit
"I Will Jackie but what made you leave me. Did you notice how much I looked up to Star."
She nodded saying "I saw you two being together the first day of Star being on Earth putting the Safe Kid With the most outrageous out of control girl with magic backing her up and you two getting along I knew something would come of it but I played along teaching you how to treat a lady right by going out with you and being there for both of you always except apparently for this event called Stump Day Since I was in France which was a good thing I guess."
"Yeah you didn't miss much since it was one of my worst days ever. The only positive was the thought of Marco celebrating my birthday but I believed in something that was childish even though it was true since we almost died from it since we decided to burn the stump and forget to celebrate the stump only."
"Yeah that was true but you see the picture I hope and I want you both to promise Me and Tom that our previous love relationship will not get in the way of us being just friends again."
They Both Promised
"Good now let's do some exploring of our new world."
Before this could happen one person they forget about Chloe who stepped out and said in French "félicitations, vous aimez les oiseaux" meaning "Congrats You Love Birds."
They were so happy to be together and even Starfan13 who had heard the news wandered in to find them together and it made her blush and she blogged it immediately asking Star and Marco about what they had done. What came next was time to remember they went on a hiking trip taking all her friends with them exploring what was new since this trail would lead them high enough to see the beautiful world they created and it was just one journey that started them moving forward to many more.
Back at The Monster Temple The Parents had been discussing what happened.
Moon filled them in with fine details of what they should do and it was that they as the parents needed to explore, get out of their comfort zone and live to learn. Marcos' parents suggested that the whole family went on a camping trip.
"What would we do for the activity to bring us together?"
"Well last time when we went camping We had the Idea to see the Old Faithful. It was an amazing adventure that we went on and we would never trade what we had happened that day."
The Butterflies agreed immediately and said that they would all be family and friends of Star and Marco. Even those outside this dimension with Tom's help of course it was settled and plans were already being made to help bring these families into this new world.
Star and Friends made it to the top just barely before the sun went down and the view they saw was breathtaking. The journey they had gone on was about 2 hours long which took them past many places. It went past a ginormous tree that looked like it had been there for over 100 years which made Star wonder if something could take that tree down.
"Hey Marco has this tree been here for over 100 years?
"I had wondered where this tree had landed in the world. It was planted alongside the foundation of our city to stand as a reminder of the roots of where we come from and to reach out for something better."
"I never thought that a tree could represent something so powerful."
"I guess it is an amazing sight to see what else we could see. Well let's find out."
They saw many more sights one was a beautiful stream that had multiple types of animals and plants that strewn about the bank. We heard so many animals that allowed for us to connect and calm down in preparation of what was to be seen ahead. They made it to the top and the scene that they saw was powerful that nothing could take away.
"Wow it looks so much better than I thought it ever would believing that she had never seen such mastery."
At the center of Earthni was Butterfly Castle; it was still in ruin since what happened with Meteora when she was going rampant. The Parts of this new land were divided evenly to each part of what came from Echo Creek and What Came From Mewni. Surrounding it was the ocean from Echo Creek to the left of them while on the right side of them was the mysterious forest from Mewni with mountains from both on both sides making even cooler mountains than any that existed in either dimension. Star could see the Monster Temple from here and it had been placed right next to one of the most popular attractions on Earth The Echo Creek Mall on the right of the Monster Temple Ten stories high but the Butterfly Castle out towered all of it and stood as a center of the great city Echo Creek Had Become. To the Right of The Castle was City Hall, Earth's Government; they operated on Democracy and voting their representation from the city. The city had a lot of little things they couldn't see as well from that high up. Tom Suggested it would not be safe to go back down the normal way so Tom who was the only person that could open the portals via his demon powers they all went to the monster temple to spend some quality time catching up with each other as happy as could be. But it was not meant to be that way.
Star and friends are met by Star And Marcos Parents asking all of them at the same time if they would go camping together. They all said yes and they assigned Tom to ask all of Star's friends so Pony Head, Kelly, Tad, and many others. He agreed and that night all went home and went to bed wondering what Lied ahead of tomorrow's big day.
"Are you excited for our camping trip?"
"Yeah Marco it is weird to think how our parents were planning right behind our back as we thought we just cleaved Earthni and their rearing to get to work with us being together as a family."
"But Star I know it will be a great trip and I support them and we need to help them get ready since most of your family has never gone camping before."
"No, they haven't gone camping before. We know what we are doing tomorrow since they will want to be prepared."
"It is going to be fun tomorrow since it is something they haven't done before shopping well will make it a great day for all."
Star and Marco both went to bed and have a great sleep and they were ready for what came ahead tomorrow.
