Chapter 3 You're My New Sister!
A/N: Jaune finds her in an alley, beaten to a pulp; her raven-hair is a mess, bruises litter her entire body and atop her head is the most adorable cat ears he's ever seen.

You're My New Sister!

She looks at him with a deer-in-headlights look and he simply smiles as he walks behind her and pushes the wheelchair, she's seated in. On her lap lies a children's book celebrating her discgarge from Hospital.
She's still wrapped up in bandages and he makes fun of her, calling her a mummy like the stuff they find in the deserts of Vacuo. She rebukes that she's not and he laughs as if it's the funniest thing he's ever heard.
Her cheeks blow up in anger and her cat ears flop showing her anger, that's until a blonde-haired blur comes speeding towards her.
"Blaaaake! Look what momma bought you!" The small, childish voice exclaims as she carries a stuffed toy-bear the size of her leg.
She has no words for the monstrous bear suddenly placed in her lap, nor at the way her new adoptive little sister jumps up and down in joy.
"You know it's Blake and not 'Blaaaaake!', right?" Another of Blake's sisters inform the hyperactive bundle of joy.
"I know!" The small girl moans as her cheeks blow up.
"Hey there, squirt? Are you feeling, okay?" Blake hears her older sister ask as she ruffles her head. Blake bemoans in annoyance, but she nods all the same. Off to the side they hear a clicking of a tongue and they all see a teenage girl no older than the one patting Blake's head.
"Stupid Faunus lovers..."
Blake's heightened senses pick up as her ears droop once more. She lowers her head in shame and sadness. But only for a moment as she sees her new older sister march over to the teenage girl.
"Hey, who you callin' STUPID?!" Jenny yells cracking her knuckles.
"I-I didn't..."
"Didn't what? Well, speak ya little shit!"
The girl says nothing and scampers off. The girl rounds the corner and Jenny smirks like the world's biggest idiot (And it has nothing to do with the fact that her claymore is in her hands...)
"Owww!"
"Stop harassing people!" A new voice, another of Blake's new older sisters' reprimands Jenny. "Anyways, mom and dad are waiting in the parking lot so get a move on."
"Well, let's go, Blake." Blake's only brother says, the one who found her in that alley and is now pushing her wheelchair.
She turns to him and smiles.

With her help, probably because from the moment she's picked up a weapon – she's AMAZING! They are both on their way to Beacon - legitimately. She's dressed in her black and white ensemble; she's wearing her white buttoned shirt, black leggings with a white skirt hanging over top.
Her hair is cut to her neck for she doesn't want it getting in her way. And her cat ears are displayed atop her head with pride. She's lying with her head on her brother's shoulder as he is intently focused on the game he's playing on his Scroll.
They stay like that for half of the entire ride to Beacon, that is, until an announcement comes on the screen directly infront of them; it's the Headmistress of Beacon, Glynda Goodwitch welcoming them to Beacon. Jaune's eyes are alight with joy and determination, herself, she just yawns as she curls into Jaune more and more.
All around her, she can feel eyes on them, more specifically herself. She's overly self-conscious and she hates crowds but when she feels a hand settle atop her head she immediately calms down. He pats her head for he knows when she's not well with crowds.
He's surprised to actually hear her purr, but he smiles, nonetheless.
"Thank you..." She whispers against his skin.
"No problem, B." He replies.

They are surrounded by boys and girls, the girls far more dangerous eyeing his brother like a piece of meat. He has on a simple white vest and she's in her kimono trying to ignore the gazes directed him.
She sits right beside him leaving no room between them as she continues to read her book. Before her, she can see Ruby and her... questionable sister, Yang making jokes. They met Ruby earlier and Yang not long after the Ceremony.
'Ruby's not a problem. But Yang might be...' Blake muses to herself as she notices Yang stealing glances of Jaune now and again. Her cat ears flick atop her head as she subconsciously hisses.
"Blake, your bad side is showing again..." Jaune points out, hiding a laugh.
"Eeep! S-Sorry, Jaune. It's just... everyone keeps on staring at yo-! Me... yeah, me!" Blake corrects herself as her cheeks turn a shade of red. Luckily, Jaune doesn't notice her slip up and continues to sharpen his blade.
"Anyways, you really didn't pack a sleeping bag. That's not like you, Blake." Jaune points out as Blake buries her nose into her book once more.
"I forgot, okay... You'll just have to make do with me sleeping with you-! Not like that you idiot!" She admonishes Jaune as she karate chops his forehead. He hisses in pain and rubs his now red, hand-printed forehead.
"Hey, you are still serious about finding the guy and girl in that picture?" Jaune asks seriously.
She drops her head to the ground as a frown crosses her face, her eyes deep in thought as she pulls the photo from her pocket. On the photo is a picture of an eighth-year old Blake standing alongside two other children; on the far left is a boy with red-hair and bullhorns on his head. Right beside Blake is a girl with brunette-hair and she looks human.
"I-I want to find them... I want to know what my life was like after losing my memories." Blake says as her voice emanates with raw sadness, "Don't get me wrong I love you and your entire family, but I need to know... Need to know why I was in that alleyway near death." She finishes as she pockets the photo once more and falls with her head on Jaune's shoulder.
"I'll help you any way I can, Blake, that's a promise." Jaune promises as he kisses Blake's forehead in a show of familial love. She smiles as she curls into him, foregoing to sleep in the sleeping bag, like this is just fine.
Surrounded by the warm of her boyfr-! Brother...

On the other side of the ballroom, his mind is running a mile-a-minute as he looks at her and he's sure, one-hundred percent sure that it's her. It's Blake Belladonna, Adam's target from way back then...
He gets up and rushes to the bathroom, he arrives and locks himself in a stall and messages her, tells her that he's found her lost friend. Tells Ilia Amitola that her friend is still alive.

A/N: this was partly inspired by Between the lines by ImSoAWESOME. Great writer and I'd definitely check out his stories.
