Chapter 3: Loki's Secret Revealed
"I'd better get going. It was nice to see you again, Jane." He sounded sad. Jane smiled weakly and waved as Thor walked towards the door. Thor turned around and smiled before shouting "Jane! Watch out!" He ran towards her but Loki got there first. He wrapped his arms around Jane and blocked her way. Tears streamed down Loki's face. At the same time Tony Stark, Natasha Romanoff, and Steve Rogers walked in with Sif behind them. Sif covered her mouth when she saw the scene. Tony, Steve, and Natasha stared horrified. Jane stared horrified when she saw the arrow in Loki's back. "Loki? Loki. Loki!" said Jane. He looked at her sadly. Jane tried not to cry. "Hey. You'll be ok. I promise." The tears spilled anyway. Thor walked over and put a hand on her shoulder. Jane took the arrow out of Loki's back and threw it on the floor. She sat him on the couch. "Jane… please…" said Loki. "No… no… don't say let you go… don't…" Jane cried. "I just want to tell you one thing." He looked at her and smiled. "Jane… listen… please…." Jane looked at him. "I love you…. Jane," he said breathing out one last time. He collapsed on the couch. "No! Loki! Please… Come back…" she begged. Jane's voice broke and Natasha, Tony, Steve, and Sif walked over to Thor. Jane looked up at Thor. Thor was crying. She looked back to Loki. "Loki… I love you too…" Jane's voice broke as she spoke. She kissed him and held his hand.
(Sorry for the short chapter... it's because I wanted to put Loki's death in one chapter and the exciting things are coming in later chapters. So again... sorry.)
