Chapter 3
Mheetu was talking to Cora and was discussing the fact that Cora's old brother is super strong meanwhile, Nala was sat in the corner listening to them feeling happy that she found Simba and he can protect her and their younger siblings. Whilst she was thinking Simba was out rounding up animals to join his army, he later returned with an army, Nala then caught the scent of her new boyfriend, she came out of the den and saw Simba with this the army. Aminifu the elephant leader then said "Nala you have grown since the last time I saw you, Simbahas told me everything you told him and we are here to help take back the pride lands from that tyrant", Nala nodded and said "thank you I really appreciate that I hate having to see everyone surfer in the pride lands it used to be so peaceful and now it's a wasteland". All the animals nodded and Simba then said "we need to formulate a plan, I suggest we first take out the hyenas we can't deal with Scar with them their, I suggest we find something to lure them to the border of the pride lands and remove them from the equation". After this was said a mandrill came down and everyone recognised him and said at the same time 'Rafiki'.
Rafiki smiled and said "Prince Simba, I agree with your plan and I may have something that can assist you in luring the hyenas in", he pulled out a jar made out of a fruit, removed the lid and inside was a purple liquid, Rafiki then explained, how only hyenas can pick up this scent and our drawn to it, then they can kill them off. Simba then said "okay we have got a method of luring the hyenas in, but we can't just run in we can't lose anyone so we need to find a solution to killing them quick and easy with no injuries, I suggest we could set up a trap", then Cora and Mheetu and came and both explained a type of trap, that could be used, they said they could place the purple liquid and spread it across the border in different locations this will cause the hyenas to split up into smaller numbers, then the army and kill them off. Everyone was shocked that these two cubs came up with that idea.
Simba then said "okay we've got a plan now we need to put it in action, we will leave for pride rock tomorrow morning everyone get your rest or tune your skills until the sun has set", everyone agreed and left and set to meet up again at the border of the jungle the next morning. Once everyone left Nala immediately kissed Simba not caring that the cubs were there she said "oh Simba it's so glad to have you back in my life but I'm also glad that your helping us get our home back, you truly are incredible" Simba then kissed her again and said "no Nala you are even better than me you fought through living under the tyrannical rule of that monster, you carried Cora and Mheetu all the way here, you risked your life to give both you and our younger siblings a better life, you my love are truly incredible, yes I bring the army together but I couldn't have down it without your words of wisdom and inspiration, I love you so much" 'I love you too Simba' Nala said, the two then kissed and hugged and Cora and Mheetu although disgusted, were happy for their older siblings.
They all went back on the den and Simba if he could take Cora for a walk to get to know her better, the two siblings walked side by side talking about what they had been through Cora talked about all the amazing stories their parents told her about Simba and Simba talked about his depression and that he thought he was responsible for Mufasa's death even though he was not, Cora couldn't help it but cried knowing what her brother went through the heartbreak the torture, nightmares, raising himself. Crying Cora said "Simba I'm so sorry but times will only get better from here", Simba hugged his sister and let her climb onto his back and he walked back to the den. Simba then explained to Nala and Mheetu what he went through, they both cried and Nala thanked Banai for helping Simba, Banai smiled and was happy that Simba is feeling happier, then they heard a voice outside theta ok stepped out and saw a lion in the clouds he was big like Mufasa but his fur Was light brown and his mane was dark brown.
Simba having heard of descriptions of his great grandfather before knew it was his and Cora's great grandfather Mohatu. "Great grandfather Mohatu", Simba said Mohatu smiled and said "Yes Simba I am yours and Cora's great grandfather, I am here to tell you that I and all the great kings and queens of the past are with you, we will be by your side and once Scar is defeated, we will create peace forever in the pride lands and that is a promise", Thank you they all said "good luck in your journey and remember myself and the other great kings and queens are with you" Mohatu then faded away. With a newfound determination, all 4 lions went in the den Simba and Nala cuddled up and Cora cuddled next to Simba and Mheetu next to Nala,getting ready to sleep and all four are now ready for the journey ahead.
