Chapter 3-The Right Thing
Hermione remembered a lesson from when she was young: The Right Thing. She remembered how her parents would ask her, "Should you eat the cookie? Or should you not? What's the right thing?"
She would always say, "Not!"
And her parents would congratulate her, and hug her.
Then, one night, when Hermione's dad had been sacked from his company, he had asked her, "Should I rescue the rabbit that would get eaten by a lion? Or should I help the lion eat the rabbit? What's the right thing"
Although she had been only 3 years old, and it had been a long time since then, she still remembered her answer clearly. She had said, "The rabbit!" And thought of it no more.
Now, as she thought of that question, the answer wasn't totally right. In hindsight, the answer seemed obvious, but the lion was just trying to eat. It was his way of surviving. So, what was the right thing? The rabbit wanted to survive, but the lion just wanted to eat the rabbit to survive.
Suddenly it made sense now. It all made sense. It was like in the old stories. Dumbledore wasn't the lion, he was the rabbit. He was just manipulating his way to live, while the other two lions (Harry and Voldemort) fought to eat him.
Right then, and there, she made up her choice. It was only fair to do so. She slowly strolled over to the Gargoyle Corridor.

Ron stood in the middle of a deserted corridor contemplating his actions. He walked up and down the corridor thinking. And before him stood a great door. Shocked, for he had not realized that he was on the 7th corridor, he opened the door, and found another door at the way end of the room. He opened the door, and inside was a basin. A pensive.
He went over to the pensive, and swirled his fingers inside it not knowing how to work the thing. Suddenly, he was falling, falling, and landed next to Hermione.
"Hermione!" he said "What are you doing here?" But she didn't seem to hear him.
"Hermione," he called again. Now waving his arm in front of her face.
But she didn't seem to be able to hear or see him. She just kept talking to herself. So Ron sat down next to her, listening.
"Should I rescue the rabbit that would get eaten by a lion? Or should I help the lion eat the rabbit? What's the right thing? The rabbit? No...the lion was just trying to eat. It was his way of surviving. So, what was the right thing? The rabbit wanted to survive, but the lion just wanted to eat the rabbit to survive.
Then, the memory ended, and in Hermione's neat handwriting it said:
Now it's time for you to make the right choice.
Ron thought about that for a second. Soon he reached a conclusion, but it was different from what Hermione had wanted him to get from this. 'So,' he thought, 'If the lion is Voldemort, and Harry, and Dumbledore are rabbits, then...Who should I help?
He thought about that for a second. Then, it came to him. It was, to him, the right choice. So, he walked out of the Room of Requirement, and to the Forbidden Forest.

Tonks wanted to find Harry, and she knew exactly how to do it. Although Harry had not been aware, Dumbledore had put a tracking spell on Harry so that anybody in the Order could track Harry when needed to. Tonks whispered the right spell, and she could see where Harry was. He was in the Dusty Inn. She put away her wand and got ready to apparat there, when somebody grabbed her shoulder.
It was Remus, and he looked unsure. "I'm sorry Tonks. I'm really sorry," he whispered.
Then, he whispered a spell, and she was knocked out.
"I'm so sorry," Remus whispered, "But this is the way it has to be. Harry would do the same if he was in my position. He was the one who taught me that family comes first, and Dumbledore is the only way to save our family. I'm sorry about this. I really am"
OoOoOoOoOoO
As Harry laid down on the inn's moldy bed, he's scar hurt like crazy. He tossed and turned and tossed and turned. It was impossible to sleep. Soon he gave up on sleeping, and sat up, pinching the bridge of his nose.
What was he supposed to do now? He stood up, and paced around the room until there was a knock.
He opened the door, and saw Tonks. "What do you want, because I'm not fighting their wars anymore. I'm not a pawn in Dumbledore's chess game. I told you, I quit." And he tried to slam the door in her face, but she had stuck her foot out so that the door wouldn't close.
"Harry, I'm on your side. I want to help. I really want to," Tonks said.
"Prove it," Harry said, testing her.
"Fine," Tonks said, giving him a piece of paper.
It said:
Nymphadora Tonks has betrayed the Order. All who help her, or get involved with her in any way, (unless it's a mission) is to be reported to Dumbledore right away.
Harry agreed, and let her in for the document he checked was real. Suddenly, he sensed something with Tonks.
"Wait," he said, "You're not really Tonks are you? Remus."
