Coach Hedge was very sarcastic but I didn't make him talk as much I guess. I just remember I never called him Coach Hedge. I'll make the adjustment in this chapter.
Remember: I don't own POJ or HOO(Getting tired of writing this)
Ethan's POV(Looking at Half-Blood for the first time)
The taxi stopped in front of a hill. I looked at it and it seemed like a normal everyday hill with a tree on top. Nothing amazing, but there were no mortals present, so I guess there was some magic protecting it.
"Let's go", Percy said. I followed him up the hill with Grover and Coach Hedge following us. Percy stopped and told me,
"This was where I fought the minotaur when I first got here". He stared at the spot, his gaze unfocused. I stared at him in awe. Imagine a 12 year old fighting the minotaur and winning, when Theseus was 20-something years old and needed the help of Ariadne. I'm only 10, but seeing Percy as a kid compared to Theseus was the right way of looking at it.
Coach Hedge cleared his throat and said, "Cupcakes, you know, Chiron is probably waiting for us."
Percy laughed and said, "Can probably can;t wait to see your baby boy and Melanie".
Coach Hedge turned red and shot back,
"You can;t wait to see your girlfriend too!" I looked at them and said
"Can you guys discuss this somewhere else? In case you haven;t noticed, I'm 10." I can tell my cheeks were growing red. Percy just shrugged it off and continued the rest of the way up the hill.
Percy patted what looked like the head of a dragon and said
"Looking good Peleus, growing bigger I see." Peleus the 5 meter long dragon just licked him on the face. Percy smiled and we went downhill, and I saw a bunch of cabins surrounding what looked like a U-shaped 12 cabins in the center.
"Alright", Percy said. "I'll go with Grover and Ethan to the big house. Hedge you can go see your kid, whatever." Hedge ran away screaming, "I'm coming sweetheart!" I looked after him before following Percy to a big house in the center of the camp.
In front of the house stood a guy who had the upper body of a person but part that resembled a horse. A centaur.
"Chiron, this is Ethan, the demigod you sent me and Grover to look for." Percy told the centaur.
"Ethan" he told me, "this is Chiron, a 3000 year old horse and my mentor", grinning at me.
Turning Chiron led me inside the big house.
"I see you had quite the trouble getting here young child. Your scent is very strong, I can see that", Chiron said to me.
"Why can everything smell me in the mythology world. It's not like I smell that good anyways", I replied.
Chiron laughed, and said, "Since we don't know who your godly parent is, you can sleep in the unclaimed cabin. Cabins here are sorted by godly parents. Yours is kind of obvious right now, but we have to wait for Lord Poseidon to claim you."
I nodded my head, but I was wondering, Seriously, why is my father still not claiming me? I walked to find that I was totally lost in the camp. I sighed and began walking around, trying to find my way to the unclaimed demigods.
Upper State NY
Crystal's POV
I cowered in the corner as my drink uncle raged through the house, throwing chairs and metals spoons this way and that. One flew in my direction as it bounced off an invisible barrier in front of me. I don't know why, but where things he threw flew my way, they were stopped as if something was protecting me. Ever since my father died, my uncle had been residing in my father's house, claiming it his and beating me up from time to time. It was terrifying but I knew my mother would come to save me one day. Father always talked of her as a kind woman, before she had to leave to keep me safe. I don't why, but my father never told me.
I was drawn from my thoughts as another crash was heard, and my uncle screamed,
"Crystal, get over here now!" I didn't want to defy him, it always ends up worse. I shivered as I walked over to him, before he threw me into the wall. I cried out in pain as he stalked towards me.
"Where is the item your father gave you?!" he yelled at me. My father gave me something before he passed away. He told me that it was my birthright, and that I should never give it away. I reflectively scooted away from him, before a shadow descended in front of me and kicked my uncle in the chest. The women, as I can see now, stood protectively in front of me. She had silver eyes and auburn hair. My uncle roared and shouted
"Get out of my house!" He grabbed a knife and charged at teh women. I was scared for her and said,
"Run!" However, the women stood and pulled out 2 knives before tackling my uncle across the floor. She then effectively knocked my uncle out and threw him out the window. She turned around and started approaching me.
Nervously, I asked, "Are you my mother?" She looked at me in confusion and surprise before answering me,
"No, I am not your mother, but I can keep you safe". She stretched out her arm in front of me. I took it as she led me away to the forest.
"You won't hurt me, will you?" I asked her nervously.
"No I won't, I was just getting you away from that disgusting male. My name is Artemis. The hunt will explain more to you once we get there." She responded.
I nodded as I followed her through the woods to a camp with a lot of silver tents and a campfire. People looked up from their work and smiled at her. There were people sharpening arrows, shooting arrows and cooking. My stomach grumbled as I blushed in embarrassment. One of the girls approached me and asked,
"Hungry? Try this. My name is Elizabeth." Nodding, I took the food and thanked her. Artemis led me to a tent.
"Ok, what's your name?" she asked.
"Crystal", I replied.
She smiled at me and said, "Ok I'm going to explain to you all about Greek mythology.
Ethan's POV
I walked around camp until I came to the seaside. Noticing Percy, I decided to go down to ask him if he could show me the way around camp. Making my way there, I saw his practicing with his water power as he created huge waves that slammed into the waters. I walked to him and said "hey".
Percy stopped and looked at me. "So you got lost?", he said, predicting what I was going to say.
"Well yeah, and also, what you did was cool. Can you teach me?", I asked. He nodded at me and motioned for me to get in the water with him. I did and he showed me how to control the water.
"Concentrate on moving the water and solidifying it, then you get an ice sword."
I tried but got a sword made out of water. He looked at me confused.
"I don't know why, but-" he stopped abruptly and stared at something above my head. I looked up and saw something cross between a trident and a naginata. It looked like a naginata with 2 tips, one bigger than the other.
"That's not Poseidon's symbol", Percy said. Suddenly the water in front of us began to churn, and Percy got in a defensive stance. I turned and saw that Chiron was also heading towards us. Out of the water an old bearded man holding the weapon I just saw above my head. Then, it instantly clicked. This dude that came was my dad.
"Who are you?",Percy asked cautiously. The guy smiled at him and said,
"I am Ethan's dad, Pontus, Primordial of the Seas." Percy just stared at him in shock before bowing down. Chiron followed suit.
Percy's POV
I just couldn't believe that Ethan's dad was Pontus. Should have guessed it, he was a lot more powerful than me when I was 12, and I couldn;t kill other water figures.
"Why is your weapon a naginata, sir?", I asked him, confused. I thought he would have a trident like my father did. He did not look like a sea god at all except for the long beard.
"Well, your father has a trident, so I thought, why not, a naginata is a cool weapon, so I made one and used it", he said, spinning the weapons can cause a wheel of water to spin towards the other side of the beach.
"May I ask, lord Pontus, what brings you here today", Chiron asked.
"I am here to claim my son, but also warn you. A dangerous war is on the way. You must prepare for it. It will be far more dangerous than the war with Gaia. Percy come here", Pontus said. I obeyed his command and stood in front of him. He placed his hand on my shoulder and chanted some inoubliable words and it glowed blue. I felt more power rushing through me.
" Farewell Percy, I have given you my blessing. Keep my son safe", he said before dissolving into seawater.
I looked at myself and tried out my new powers. The wave I made was way higher than usual. Ethan was just standing there still staring at the spot his father was in.
"Come on Ethan, we better go, Chiron, we have to tell Zeus about this." I said. Chiron nodded before heading to the Big House.
I turned to Ethan. "I'll take you to an unclaimed house, since we don;t have one for your dad yet. Meet us at the Big house tonight at 6:00Pm.
Artemis's POV
"My mother did leave this for me though", Crystal told me. I nodded and said,
"Your mother is mostly likely a goddess so that might be a weapon. You can join the hunt if you want", I said smiling at her.
Zoe said (Yes she's alive, Percy used his wish from Giant War to resurrected her and Beckendorf and Silena)" In the hunt you can train with our sisters and be safe." I was glad to have my lieutenant back, but she was no longer in that position. Thalia is still lienautant. Suddenly, a lyre blazed above Crystal's head. I looked at it in confusion.
Only thing possible is Apollo, but last time I checked, he was a male , not female, and liked to hang out with females. A voice said,
"Crystal, my daughter, we finally met." It seemed to come straight from the heavens.
"I am Hemera, primordial of the day. Stay safe my daughter, and use the sword well." My mouth dropped open. Hemera just appeared and said she had a daughter. This was crazy!
Crystal took out the necklace and it turned into a blade seemingly made out of light. As she looked at it with tears in her eyes, Hermes appeared.
"Artemis, Zeus requests you to be at Camp Half-Blood in the next 3 hours. Apparently another demi-primordial has been found and a new prophecy has been issued. Meanwhile, she is not allowed to join the hunt yet." With that he disappeared.
I signed and Crystal looked at me. "Zoe, tell the hunters to pack up, and get ready for Camp Half Blood. Crystal, don't worry, we'll sort this out. Let's go and pack up".
Percy's POV
The 12 gods were assembled on the platform in the main house. The hunter and the camper were sitting in chairs looking at the god's waiting for the meeting to start.
"Honorable demigods and demi primordials!", Zeus boomed, "This meeting starts now!"
"As many of you might have heard, we have discovered 2 demi-primordials today, and a warning of the incoming war. We are here to discuss the plan with you guys while our Roman selves discuss with the romans."
I signed. I just couldn't get any peace in this lifetime. It was one wara after another, and here is the third one. I'm only 18, I wonder if I have to fight through 20 wars before I die. Of course there weren't that many enemies.
"As we have been warned, enemies are far more powerful than before, so we shou-"
Apollo's eyes lit up and turned green. The voice of the fates can clearly be heard.
The three shall rise above all,
Against the eldest gods Earth shall offer,
Hell awakens
Nightmares approach
Darkness and light together to see the path
The world shall see its final days
If united they still fall
Then the world is doomed to fall
Apollo collapsed as Artemis ran forward to catch him. Whispers began to fill the camp. This prophecy is very confusing, I thought. Whatever happens , it would be terrible.
Third Person POV
A crack appeared in Nevada, and it widened, sending black smoke up into the skies. Hellhounds bursted from the depth of the hole, and monsters surged out. In the middle was a figure coated in dark armor.
"Free at last", the figure said as he grinned. He looked at the stone in his hands. "My wife, I shall come for you!"
Tell me if the prophecy rhymes, because I suck at it. Review below, thanks.
