Age 6
At age six Stella had a creative mind and the urge to cause trouble. Being family friends with the Weasleys also got her in a lot of trouble. She and Ginny clicked right away. The twins loved her. Not only did she share a birthday with them but they could tell she would have a great future in pranking. They already did and they were six. But the Weasleys weren't the only people she touched.
The Potter family's friend also adored her. But she was always put in the shadow of her brother. Whenever he ran into the room all the attention would go to him and she hated that. No, she wasn't looking for attention but it would be nice if she got even the smallest amount from the adults.
The only person who understood what she was feeling was Sirius. Whenever they hung out it felt like they were best friends. Sirius was in wonder with the child. It was different than it was with Harry. With him, he would joke around and be reckless. But with Stella, he was careful around her. It was like she was made of glass, anything small or big would break her. It was like she owned him.
"Siweous!"
How could she be so adorable? There was definitely something wrong with him. No one acted the way he did when it came to her. She could turn his crazy off in a matter of seconds. Today was her birthday her sixth to be exact. Everyone was there, the Weasleys, Remus, Severus, and him, Sirius. The Potter's and the Weasleys always decided of having a birthday party for Stella, and the twins same day same place. This year was no different.
"Siweous!"
Sirius almost pushed Remus out of the way to pick up the now six-year-old girl that was running toward him. Lily and James looked at him then each other and rolled their eyes. He was her favorite.
Age 8
"You can't go! Please!"
It was time for Fred and George to go to Hogwarts and Stella would not have it. She was hugging both of them crying.
"Don't leave!"
"Hey, we will owl you," Geroge tried to comfort her.
"And we will be home for the holidays," Fred finished.
"But you won't be here for our birthday! And who will I have to help prank people?"
"Stella," her mom said firmly, "come."
"NO!"
Lily looked at Sirius for help since he was the only one that could handle her.
"Stella, come on we can go home and have your favorite dessert."
She looked up from the twins to him.
"But... they won't be there."
"I know but pretty soon you won't even notice that there's gone, I promise."
"No, because you've broken a promise before."
She walked to her father and told him to pick her up. He did, but Sirius could feel his heartbreaking. That was the only time that she picked her father over her.
"Let's go home Prongs," he heard her mumble.
A few week's later
Dear Stella,
Sorry that we didn't write you sooner but we were busy pulling pranks on people. Professor McGonagall loves us. We have been to her office 10 times in the past week. There are ghosts here. ANd we are trying to pull a prank on Pevees. But how can you pull a prank on a ghost?
So... how have you been holding up. We miss you and wish you could be here, but we will be the group people won't want to mess with within four years.
Tell the family we are staying out of trouble, and tell Ron we have a present for him.
Love,
Fred & George
Dear Twins,
Lucky. That's what you are, lucky. I'm bored out of my mind here. We went out a few days ago and people crowded our family to get a look at Harry. You know how I feel about that. But I have to ask you, did you pull any pranks on the Professors? You don't want to pull any on McGonnagal if you want to continue being her favorites.
I miss you guy. I'll send something for your birthday if you do too.
Love,
S.L.P
