You guys are blowing my mind! I honestly didn't expect anyone to want to read this fic but me. Your comments give me such joy! I'm sorry for the delay, I just could not get this chapter here I wanted it and ended up rewriting parts over and over and over… ugh but here it is! I initially wanted this to be a log chapter but I found a good stopping point and wanted to get something out to you. Maybe I'll post the next one or two in the next few days to make up for the delay.
I highly recommend looking up the new additions when I write them. While I do my best with the descriptions, I want you to have the best visual you can. Plus, they are adorable, so it's totally worth it! Responses are at the end. Thank you!

Last Time:
The door shut and the waiting room was quiet once more. Before Izuku could get comfortable, the nurse popped back out of the door and called for her next patient.
"Midoriya Izuku for Doctor Mintd."
———\(θοθ)/———
The quartet brightened at the call for Izuku. With the green bean at the front, they began the short trek through the waiting room to the open door. A pink haired nurse with her hair in circular braids led them to the triage station. When she turned back to the boy and beckoned for him to sit, he noticed her name tag that said 'Ayako Joey'.
After a standard work up, the Midoriyas were led back to exam room 18, where they were told to wait for the doctor.
The Ginger Twins were fascinated by all of the technical items and bright posters on the walls, often asking questions about what they saw or heard.
A clunk and the sound of papers could be heard from the other side of the door, drawing the attention of the room's occupants. As it began to open, the person behind it gave a warning of a series of short knocks.
The man who entered was Dr. Tuley Mintd. He is a tall quirk physician with salt and pepper hair that is mostly slicked back, as a few curls had slipped loose here and there. The probable cause of the curls' slippage sat atop his head; two shimmering crystal clusters thrummed with reassuring energy from their place on his scalp. They cast a series of iridescent halos around him as the light within the room itself seemed to be drawn to him. His kind heterochromatic eyes glowed green and blue, and were framed by deep crinkled smile lines.
"Ah, Midoriya-kun. I wasn't expecting you for another two weeks! I don't suppose you just wanted to come see me, hmm?" He greeted good-naturedly.
Izuku beamed in response. The shine in his viridian eyes nearly rivaled the man who elicited the reaction. "I got my quirk!"
The doctor's eyes widened dramatically as he grinned even further. "That's great news! So, what is it?" He asked as he sat down on his 'spinny stool' as Izuku called it. He leaned forward with his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hands. He looked like an excited child on his birthday.
That look only brightened when Izuku shoved the Ginger Twins towards him.
Inko smiled as the twins went through their introductions once more. Izuku and the doctor had always had a connection, though Dr. Mintd's quirk, Calming Crystals, gave him an advantage there. His amethyst crystals put off a calming energy to those close by, the same way amethyst crystals act for peoples' chakra. It was perfect for working with kids, especially when he had to deliver bad news. Though, Inko supposed, they got lucky and didn't have to get any of that.
"This is such a unique and rare mutation! It's nothing like either of your parents' quirks… In fact it's nothing like any of the quirks I ever seen! I have so many questions! Does the quality of the dough make a difference? Can you use candy or something else and the treats still animate or is it just cookies? What can the cookies do? Oh just think of the possibilities!" Dr. Mintd rambled excitedly. Each question was punctuated with a spin on the stool and some quick scribbling on his notepad behind him.
Izuku looked to the baggies his mom was holding in excitement. He grabbed the one with cookies in it and showed it to the doctor. "We brought the rest of the batch of gingerbread cookies and the stuff to decorate them! Can we make some more so GingerBrave and GingerBright have friends?" Izuku asked gesturing to the siblings.
Said cookies were looking between the humans in confusion and eager anticipation. The prospect of more friends was so, exciting!
"Hold on, let's move to a testing room so we can do this with more counter space! Cooking quirks are rare so we don't have a specialized room for it, but we can use the rec room if we need to!" Dr. Mintd said as he took the bags from Izuku and collected his papers. After he opened the door, he beckoned for the family to follow him down the hall.

The Midoriyas were led through a series of hallways lined with rooms. Each one was occupied with various enthusiastic kids testing their quirks. One room that functioned as a petting zoo held Kōda-kun as he talked to a tortoise about daffodils while a man with a bull mutation in a lab coat oversaw them fondly. Kōda-san waved at the green haired duo as they passed by, garnering a friendly series of waves in return.
After another minute of walking, the crystalline man stopped in front of a door with a red G-6 on it.
"This is just a general room used for item based quirks, but the counters it has are why we are using it." He commented as he opened the door.
Inside was a basic set of cabinets with an ample amount of counters, some with spinny barstools so that the room's tenants could sit while they were occupying it. The counter in the back corner of the room had a large farm style sink.
Entering the room, Izuku ran over to the center-most stool and climbed up on top of it. He bounced in place with his cookies sitting curiously on his head, no doubt wondering how they came to be.
Dr. Mintd chuckled as he made his way over to the cabinets. He grabbed out a roll of parchment paper and some paper towels from the cupboard before making his way over to a stool opposite Izuku.
Inko sat at the end after grabbing the twins off her boy's head (accompanied by a whined "but mooooom!"). Once she had them settled, she reached into the bags and began to pull out the icing filled containers, laid out the candies, and organized the sprinkles. The doctor had now spread out a strip of the parchment paper on which Inko began to lay out the remaining four undecorated gingerbread cookies.
Upon seeing the spread, Dr. Mintd quirked his brow before smiling big. "I'll be right back. You start thinking up ideas!" He said as he dashed out of the room with his lab coat billowing behind him.
Izuku began looking at his cookies, poking at them every now an then as he muttered to himself about designs. His eyes lit up has he held up one of the cookies whose head had been unfortunately smooshed against the edge of the pan and had developed an angular top. "Mom! This one's head looks like a strawberry!" He called out.
"I think you're right, Izuku!" She smiled back. "What do you two think?" She asked looking at the twins.
"I don't know…" GingerBrave said uncertainly. He was scrutinizing his undecorated fellows with caution; poking one with his foot and jumping back as if expecting it to jump out at him.
"I like your idea Izuku!" GingerBright said with an excited jump. She looked to one of the colorful posters in the room and her eyes lit up. "Ooh! Can we use that color!? It's sooo pretty!" She asked as she pointed to a poster for breast cancer awareness that displayed a drawing of a girl in a hoodie dress. The color that was most prominent was a bright hot pink.
"I think we can do that!" Dr. Mintd called out as he came bounding back into the room, completely out of breath. In his arms was a medium sized cardboard box filled with colorful items."I brought the motherload!" He said with a large grin.
Izuku's eyes went wide when he saw the box of goodies that the doctor had brought. His mouth was slightly open, and he was grinning like mad.
The box landed on the counter with a loud thud. A few marshmallows and chocolate covered malt balls flopped out of the box.
"Let's get decorating!" Dr. Mintd called out. He grabbed a hand full of skittles and popped them in his mouth. "I can taste colors!" He said grinning jovially. His teeth were covered in the rainbow candy coating of the skittles.
Izuku laughed and grabbed one of the marshmallows that had rolled towards him. He tossed it in the air and caught it in his mouth, looking so self satisfied when he did. Dr. Mintd clapped his hands and threw his arms in the air and hollered out excitedly around a mouth full of candy. Inko just giggled at the two guys having fun.
After chewing up the candy, the doctor closed up the bag of rainbow candy and chuckled. "Okay, okay. We should probably get started now." He wiped the non existent crumbs off of his hands before settling back down into his chair. "Ok, so we have some food dye here, a bunch of candy, some dumdums, regular, small and Lucky Charms marshmallows, and some tiny mint leaves from another patient who could grow it out of her nose… Don't worry, I washed them… such a weird quirk. Anyway, I took all of the Lucky Charms marshmallows out of the box, but don't tell anyone it was me! It was for science, I promise!" He listed off the contents as he dumped them unceremoniously onto the counter, throwing in dramatics wherever he saw fit.
Inko immediately set off to mixing up the pink icing that GingerBright had requested and a couple of different shades to the bright twin's excitement. Dr. Mintd grabbed some blue icing and mixed in some yellow to make a nice shade of green. By the time all of the colors had been mixed, there were light pink, hot pink, dark pink, forest green, bright green, light lime green, blue, navy blue, purple, red, white, and chocolate.
Izuku looked at them all with a shine in his eyes. He reached for the bag of hot pink frosting as GingerBright nudged it closer to him in excitement. He began to outline the cookie with the strawberry shaped head using the pink icing, leaving the hands bare. Thinking about how to give her a skirt, as this was a standard cookie, he looked up at the poster with the girl in the dress and thought aloud. "Can I go off the cookie with the frosting and make a dress?"
"I don't know, why don't you give it a shot!" Dr. Mintd said eagerly as he munched on a pocky stick.
Izuku grinned at the doctor's encouragement, and continued on the decoration. He began to flare out the icing a little bit at the hips and brought it down to the thighs before drawing a line straight across to make the bottom of the dress; layering it on super thick so that it was even with the frosting on the cookie. Next he created an oval on the face where the eyes would go. From there, he filled in the entirety of the outline with the same shade of pink to form a hoodie dress.
Next, he grabbed the white icing and added two circles with a single line off them for eyes, taking up the majority of the oval. Izuku temporarily grabbed the chocolate and filled them in, taking care not to go outside the lines. He then grabbed the white once more and began to add three teardrop shaped spots resembling strawberry seeds on the top left of the cookie's head. Next, two little strings in an upside down V with a ball on each end to form hoodie strings with pompoms on the ends.
Taking the dark pink, Izuku adds an odd shape, like the top of a stop sign, to make a hoodie pouch on the stomach. Once he was done with that, he grabbed the bright green, much like an emerald, and added some lines from the shoulder to under the armpits.
Sitting back he looked at the cookie and frowned for a moment. Taking this is a sign of disappointment, Dr. Mintd began to attempt to console him. "It's ok Izuku! I'm sure the next one will come to life!"
Izuku continued to look at the cookie before glancing at the box. "She's not done. I know it… I feel it!"
Dr. Mintd rose a brow and scribbled in his notepad. "That's good to know."
"What do you mean?" Inko asked.
"Your son has a tell, a feeling he gets when he needs to do something to activate his quirk. His conditions, so to speak. Like you get when you go to see if you can pull an item to you. You feel that you either can or can not." He explained while looking over at Inko kindly.
Izuku, having been too focused to overhear the conversation the adults had, was staring at the box's contents as if they held the secrets of the world. He began to sift through the differing candies, but he kept going back to the dumdums. None of them felt right, but they felt right-er than anything else… Then he saw the pink one. Strawberry, the wrapper said. He grinned. Perfect!
He unwrapped the strawberry dumdum and put it slightly under her back with the edible part sticking out over her shoulder, as if it was strapped to her back.
Izuku leaned back with a small smile, and waited for a few seconds. It didn't take long. The eyes on the cookie were the first thing to move. She blinked a few times before she sat up and looked from human to human, before finally settling on Izuku.
She cautiously stood up and took a few tentative steps towards the excited boy. "H-hi…" She said nervously as she fiddled with the hem of her dress.
Izuku grinned widely at her and reached out his hand with his finger pointing limply to her. "Hi! I'm Izuku! What's your name?"
A slight tinge of red poked into view from the hole that allowed the view of her chocolate brown eyes. It seems she's shy. "I'm Strawberry Cookie… but, um… you can just call me Strawberry." She said as she bowed her head and put it under his outstretched finger.
Izuku smiled fondly and rubbed the top of her head, eliciting a giggle as she looked up to him with adoring eyes.
"Fascinating!" Came the elated statement from Dr. Mintd. His outburst garnered the attention of the room's occupants, who all turned to see him writing furiously in his notebook.
While the green haired mother and son watched the physician scribble faster than he could mumble (which was an astonishing feat in of itself), the twins began to congregate towards the new addition to their pastry family. Introductions were made and hugs were exchanged between the overly enthusiastic brunette and the embarrassed berry cookie who was beginning to turn the color of her namesake.
"Mommy… I don't feel so good." Izuku quietly said. Both adults turned to look at him, one with worry and the other oddly serious.
"What's wrong Midoriya-kun?" the doctor asked. His ever present smile was narrower than before and his brows had furrowed slightly. He began to slowly stand up from his chair, his crystals shinning even brighter in attempt to put the boy at ease.
Izuku reached out to his mother with one arm, and the adults noticed his hand was violently trembling. "The room is spinning… Whe… Where are we again? My head hurts… I feel bad Momma." He said as he began to lean to the left towards his mom. He suddenly plummeted to the floor, with the doctor and Inko making a mad dash towards him.

adislt: Different cookies have different abilities and properties (which you'll see next chapter!) due to their different ingredients. They may seem basic at first, but they will get crazy in due time! There are a few characters in Cookie Run who are made from other substances, so I'll say sort of to that question haha!
Somethingpolice: omg I totally forgot about that scene and now I have ideas I shouldn't have.
Turtle36: You got that reference before I even posted it, I'm insanely impressed! I hope you like what I've done with Dr. Mindt. I think he's my favorite character that I've ever created, he's so fun! I like your idea for the cookie animals, so I think I def will do that with Kōda (I honestly forgot about the cookiemals and such). My big question is if Hitoshi can brainwash them since they don't have brains… let me know what you think, but that will be way in the future. I have plans for Lunch Rush (relatively soon actually), but I never thought about Fatgum. I do plan on having Carrot Cookie in her Rabbit costume cuz I love it and find that particular scenario hilarious!
Erlifania: One For All has been a big question on my mind as well. I have plots for both options semi-planned out (but not really) but I'm leaning towards yes, because I don't want to take too much away from the original. But if I get an overwhelming response from people wanting me to not have him have it then he won't! Legendaries are definitely on the way! And I wonder if you can guess the first one. Pets are something I have been trying to figure out honestly. Let me know what you think (anyone, not just Erlifania), I was thinking of having them function like Lucy from Fairy Tail's Stardress ability (using the corresponding cookies' abilities) but I am really unsure. Also, I do play Kingdom! I'm not as active on there as I am on Ovenbreak. Also, DE might even her her own Arc.. we'll see ;)
Great Spirit Master: Oh I have plans for trouble cookies, esp DE.
Soundestguitar: thank you! I keep coming back to your comment when I get stuck and remember why I write in the first place!
ClownDeMierda: omg I had to look up what he did in the movie since I haven't seen it since it came out and nearly had a conniption.
Obsidian Nova Arc: I'm so glad! I hope you find this chap as cute as I do _ bc I love the doctor.
