Hello people,
So I was asked about what the MC knew of cannon (Guest-Questioner, and AnosDT95), seeing as this is a SI story. Well, I plan on only giving him basic knowledge, what I mean by that is knowing that right now his biggest concern will be the fallen angels, after that Riser and the fight against him, the Excalibur debacle, then the peace talks, Khaos Brigade showing up, and after that the young lord's gathering, outside of timeline stuff, he'll know what is a peerage, what are the rating games, who are the character that appeared during those events, I don't want to give him any detailed knowledge, I think that me going with this route allows it so I can change the story to go in a different road than canon. (I know little about canon, so this will make it easier for me to write)
For Sammy9992, this chapter might answer your question, but Issei already knew all of that stuff, as for the second one, if she hadn't done that the person that considers himself Issei Hyoudou is this story wouldn't be there, the consciousness that controls the body only got there because Issei died. Also, what can he do about it? He's already a devil, if he rebels or something of the likes, he'll be branded a stray and will be hunted and killed.
One more thing, I'll extend a bit the passage of time in the story, I plan on having Rias out of high school by the time that the young lord's gathering happens, I want to try and write a bit of their adult life and whatnot, not just make it so they are in school for the whole story.

After the party, I returned home, thoughts of how to proceed didn't leave my mind, when I got to my house, I still had time for dinner and, with it, time to talk with my parents.
"I'm back!" After closing the door, my shoes once again flew to their place.
"Oh! Welcome back son!" Dad answered, I'm late, he got here earlier than me.
Walking inside the house, I saw that he was sitting at the dining table while Mom was in the kitchen preparing dinner for us.
"You're late, did something happen?" Mom came out of the kitchen asking, her inquiry also got Dad's attention.
"Yeah, sorry about that. I got into a club and we had a small party to celebrate."
Their concern was gone the second I stopped talking, instead, they were smiling brightly at me.
"Oh! That's incredible! I wanna hear about it, so go up and have a shower, when you get back you'll tell us about this new club of yours!" I didn't expect them to be this excited about it, were they worried that I wouldn't make any friends or something?
Following my mother's order, I took a quick shower after putting all my stuff away in my room. The shower helped me decide how I'd talk with them, I won't tell them about the devil thing, but I'll ask about going to a gym or something like that.
Now clean and with the topics of conversation decided, I went down to wait for dinner.
"Here son, have a seat!" Father said while pointing to the chair in front of him. "So tell us about this club, did you join it with those friends of yours?"
'Those friends', he's talking about Matsuda and Motohama, does he think I joined a club focused around porn?
"No, this one is new for me. I didn't know anyone in there before joining in… Although one of the members is in the same class as me."
I saw that my mother had shown up while I was talking, she started putting the food on the table for us to eat.
I waited until she was done, Dad also noticed that I wanted to tell them both together, so he joined me in waiting.
When she was done and seated, we thanked for our meal and started our meal.
My parents didn't want to wait until we finished, so they started the conversation again, "Come on Ise, tell us about this club!"
I gulped down the food that was in my mouth and began telling them, "The club is called The Occult Research Club, we research the supernatural, like yokai and some religions."
They weren't expecting that, as shown by their open mouths, what made them get out of their state was the sound of their chopsticks hitting their plate after they had fallen from their hands.
"What? Why would you join that? You've never had any interest in those sorts of things." Mom was the first to get back to asking me questions.
"Well… I didn't find any interesting clubs until now, and this seemed different, so I decided to give it a try, besides the people in there are cool, so at least I'll make some new friends with this."
We continued our dinner, they didn't appear to have any more questions, so we didn't take long to finish, and once we did I was the one to start a conversation.
"I want to ask you two about something," I said before any of them could leave the table.
With their attention now on me, I continued talking, "I want to get in a gym, or a dojo, but I don't know of any around here."
Once again they were surprised, this time it was Father that answered me.
"A dojo? Hmm… I heard of one that is close by, but I don't know what they teach there... Why do you want to do this now?"
"I want to exercise a bit, and I think it would be a good idea to learn some martial arts, that way I'll be able to protect myself if something happens."
They didn't look too convinced by that, but I knew that they would need a very good reason to deny it, after all, they did spoil me.
"Oh stop being such a hard-on Gorou! Ise wants to learn something new, make new friends. We should encourage him!"
Thank you Mom, you're the best!
My father let out a sigh, he just accepted it, both of us wanted this to happen so he didn't have any chance of changing our minds.
"Fine... But if you're doing this, you're gonna do it right. I don't want you starting this just to give up in a week or two, understood?"
"Understood!" And with this, I'm one step closer to getting stronger.
The next day started and I had a plan for school, I'd release my libido before going to it, the plan gave me good rewards, but I still got some reactions when I'd catch a glimpse of the panties from the girls that were being careless. This just means that I still have to improve.
Other than my hormones problem, school was fine, I remembered the majority of the stuff, excluding anything related to Japan since I hadn't studied that before, so in those classes I made sure to pay more attention, it helped to distract me from the long time it took for the classes to finish.
After they were done, I had club activities, and since today was my first day at the club, I got a crash course on what I'd have to do as a devil, the contracts that I'd have to make, the time I'd have to go out and distribute pamphlets… And I also used this opportunity to learn more about the new society that I found myself thrown into.
Fortunately, I managed to leave before it was too late, this way I'd have an easier time finding the dojo that I'd try to enroll in.
It ended up being just a few blocks from home, it was a small place, created by a family that had a tradition in martial arts. When I asked them about what they thought, they said that they had an unorthodox style of teaching, that their students were encouraged to make their way of fighting, that was the main reason for them to be small since it was rare for them to find new students.
I think this would work fine for me in the long run, but it will be harder for now. Anyway, I signed up and worked everything up so I could start the next day, it was great that they stayed open until late at night and during weekends.
Now my schedule was full, classes all morning, devil duties in the afternoon, and training in the evenings. It would be hard, but they used to say, 'no pain, no gain', so I believe I'm on the right track.
My day ended with me letting my parents know about the contract with the Dojo, I also got some encouraging words from them, Mother saying she was proud of me for choosing to do this was the biggest of them all.
It has been a week since I began it all, I got to know my fellow peerage members better, I don't remember well how they were portrayed in the original works, so all I can say is that they are great, but with some flaws… So they are just like everyone else.
Rias was lazy, I learned that all the time that I saw her doing work, during my first two days in this body, were only a farce, she didn't like to do paperwork and when she had to, she'd push it to the last second possible, some times, Akeno would have to take over and do it herself.
Akeno liked to tease people, especially Rias, but I think that is because she is the most expressive of us all, Kiba seems to find it easy to ignore her, and Koneko as well, me… I do show some reactions, mostly when she's flirty, but I get a hold of myself pretty quickly, thus she calls me 'No fun' and goes on to bother Rias.
My fellow male companion is the trickiest of the four to get a read on, he acts like a proper knight, I think he just doesn't kneel when Rias enters the room because she doesn't let him. Other than that, he gets a good amount of work, so he didn't stay a lot in the club room when I was there.
And, the cutest of us all, Koneko, she is as stoic as she can manage to be, she only breaks when we give her food. She also likes to point out when Akeno is doing something perverted or when she notices that I had a small glimpse at one of the older women, which would make them tease me, I admit that they got a reaction from me the majority of the time.
I had few interactions with my old friends, they were still going around peeking on girls and openly sharing pornography, unfortunately, my name was still being dragged with theirs that is because I didn't stop talking with them.
My progress in learning how to fight is steady, I've learned how to punch, the proper movements of the body, and the places to hit. The next topic to learn is how to use my legs, after that, I'll focus on improving those learnings and getting some fighting experience.
Other than that, the new routine is starting to become a habit, adding to the three responsibilities that I now had, I tried waking up earlier and going for a run.
I concluded that I needed more stamina after talking with Ddraig, and him mentioning that the more stamina I had the more power from his boosts my body would be able to hold, and it would also allow me to stay longer in a fight.
Currently, I'm on my second weekend since I've woken up as Issei Hyoudou, today will be a rest day from club activities.
I haven't found any client to contract with, all the contracts that I participated in were of people that already had contracted with other members of the peerage. The ones in which I participated were to get some experience in dealing with customers.
It was fun, some of the clients were unique, the oddest of them all was a guy that called himself Mil-tan, he was a bodybuilder who dressed as a magical girl, and his wish was to become one. Unfortunately for him, I didn't know any spells, still don't, but I can use the pamphlets to teleport, which gives me some hope of learning a few more. The others didn't share my wishes, according to Rias I'd have to train for too long to be able to use magic efficiently.
Regardless of my failure to fulfill his wishes, Mil-tan was happy with my services since I'd told him about the possibilities of humans learning magic, he told me to find a way to help him learn and he'd make a contract with me, he'd also indicate me to his friends who shared the same dream as him. Now I have a quest to fulfill, and I'd rely on Rias and her contacts in the Underworld to do so.
All that aside, today I decided to go for a run a bit later than usual, and this turned out to be some sort of play by destiny as I encountered one of the characters that were a constant presence in the original.
I was at a park, this one had a large green field where families used to play with their children, there were some people with dogs on a walk, and there were the ones like me, who went there to exercise.
My encounter with her started with a bump, she was walking looking at the children playing happily with each other, and I wasn't paying much attention to my path, we collided and she took the worst of it.
"Uhh… Miss, are you okay? I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention." It had been an instinct, just as I felt our collision those words left my mouth.
The girl looked more surprised than hurt, which was good, she became hopeful upon hearing my voice, quickly she looked up and said, "You can speak Italian! Thank God I managed to find someone."
Ouch, I don't think I'd get used to the pain that came when someone mentioned him.
After she talked I took a moment to look at her, long blond hair and big green eyes, what gathered more attention was her attire, a dark teal nun outfit, a white veil over her head, and brown boots with black straps.
"Ah… Yes, I can." Before I continued, I noticed that her suitcase had opened and now her clothes were scattered all around us, she didn't notice it though, and without caring about her surroundings, she got up and approached me.
"Can you help me? Please, I've been lost for some time now and I'm afraid I'll be late. I'm looking for a church. Do you know where I can find it?"
I heard her, but decided to focus on the scattered clothes, she saw that I was looking on the floor and followed my gaze.
"Those… Those are my clothes! How did they get like that?"
"Your suitcase opened when you fell, and this is what happened when it hit the ground."
After hearing my words, she began to collect her clothes and I decided to help her. When we were done, she thanked me and repeated her question once more.
If I sent her there she'd be killed so the Fallen could get her Sacred Gear. I won't do that to her!
"I know the place where there is a church here in the city, but it has been abandoned for a few years."
Her eyes shined even more at the possibility of me helping her.
"Before we go there, I want to ask you something." She nodded in response. "Do you know who is currently residing there?"
Her eyes opened wide, my question was an admittance of my knowledge of the supernatural.
"Ye-Yes, the Fallen Angels are there. They took me in and told me to come to this city so I could help them in an operation."
I don't think they'd be happy to know that she'd disclose this type of information to a stranger like that.
"Since you know it'll be easier to explain why I don't want to take you there." And she got sad, it looked as if I had taken something precious from her.
"The Fallen that are in this city are bad people, they are hunting down the humans who have Sacred Gears and killing them saying that it was because they were a threat to their organization."
Her sad expression turned into a shocked one, I could see the disbelief starting to surge up in her eyes.
"You don't believe me," I told her, and then proceeded to lift my shirt, so the area of my heart was exposed.
"This is where one of them pierced me, I was almost gone, I'd have been if a certain someone hadn't saved me." The scar was ugly, for some reason it hadn't disappeared when I transformed, maybe it's a reminder for me? Maybe it was there in the original and I didn't know until now. However, this doesn't matter, what matters is that I manage to convince her not to go to that church.
The Nun's expression changed quickly, from concern to determination. Her determination was so strong that she just touched the scar and used Twilight Healing, her Sacred Gear.
Her hand was enveloped in a green light, it gave out a soothing warmth upon touch, however, nothing changed and the ugly scar continued there.
She didn't want to accept that she failed, she tried again and again, but the result didn't change, her powers didn't work on it.
"Why? Why can't I heal it?" She whispered I believe that had I not been a devil, I wouldn't have heard her.
"Maybe it's because it is already healed? Besides, you don't have to worry about this, it is just a scar, it doesn't cause me any harm."
My words calmed her down, however, she still kept staring at it. Her focus was broken when I put my shirt down.
"You see, that is what they'll probably do to you. I don't want that to happen, that is why I don't want to take you to the church."
"Then what am I supposed to do? That church is the only place I can go." She sounded depressed, this was not pleasant to watch.
"I have an idea, come with me!" I didn't wait for her answer, I just took her hand and started walking towards somewhere that I'm sure could house her.
