It's been a few days since Hinata and Sakura's fateful encounter.

It's also been a few days since Hinata stopped taking job interviews, with her mind filled with various things.

But one thought arose from all of the worry she was thinking; Should I take the job?

She has been laying all day on her bed, her brows furrowed while thinking deeply of what decision should she make. Her other arm was rested across her forehead, while the other held the piece of paper Sakura gave her, containing an email address.

Hinata has been thinking about this for days but she still didn't came up with a conclusion.

Considering the whole deal and catch of the work, if Hinata would take it, it would definitely be a good catch for her.

This work might just be the solution for her to achieve her dream.

Oh, and if you're wondering what her dream is, it's just to simply have a comfortable life. Maybe have a family and a kid along the way, but those come after her real goal.

The first thing to achieve on her list:

She wants her father's recognition on her skill and the path she has chosen.

Being a Hyuga she is, specially the first daughter of their leader, Hinata is expected to follow the traditions of their clan including all the other things they have to master. It doesn't matter if you can do it or not, what matters is that you obey the rules and meet the elder's and leader's expectation.

The Hyugas are known for their strength in combat, their mastery in various martial arts. Most of the time, Hyugas either own a Dojo or workshop in Martial Arts, or they choose on paths that has something to do with the use of Martial arts and strengths.

Hinata abandoned her duty and neglected her father. Instead of training in their compound to learn the wonders of dojo for her to inherit the leader's position, she took on the journey of learning medicine and challenge the City rather than sitting inside their house while watching her relatives take on each other using their very own fist and kicks that makes her face cringe on how painful that would be if it was Hinata.

All those hard training, just to be recognized as a Hyuga.

Hinata thought about it. She decided that she can prove her worth as a Hyuga not by the ways and traditions their family grew up with, but by learning and training in the field of helping people rather than those hard ways.

And this opportunity given to her, is no doubt, a big chance to prove her worth and strive to earn money and maybe, to start her own job or company to help the people in need.

That's her belief; to help all the people in need, suffering from poverty.

Altogether, the advantage of the job offer is drastic and very favorable to Hinata.

But the risks never left her mind as well.

As Sakura said, the work is somewhat connected to someone popular and known. Someone popular; an actor.

And being involve in with someone popular, is something Hinata doesn't like at all.

The blunette never liked attention. Ever since she was born to the family, and being the heir of the Hyuga main family, she also gained unwanted attention from the clan members. Both the main family and branch family. A lot of members talked highly of her, taking Hinata something like a goddess and had high expectations for her, considering she's the first born child of their clan leader. The strongest and smartest person among them.

That lead her to being watched every move she did, even her etiquettes and the smallest details among her overall personality. Her posture, attitude, behavior, demeanor, everything must be perfect.

And because of that, Hinata also gained a lot of criticisms from the members. Starting from the light ones to the harsh ones that almost made Hinata give up on everything. All the insults they throw at her made the blunette's heart ache, as if her heart is slowly tearing apart.

All of these things happened to her. From the traumatic experience, onto the harsh reality she has to face, specially that she's an adult now.

Other than gaining unwanted attention from being involved on someone popular, that also means her privacy is now limited. Although maybe Hinata's work won't involve her on something big that would make her known to the world, considering she'll only be an assistant, she's still sure that some of her information will be leaked.

The blunette always wanted to be someone people recognized as a kind and helpful person, but not by vlogging and showcasing her achievements in TV, by a way that she won't be that known and famous among people. Because she knows deep down, even though all the things she wants to do are good, haters and negativity among people will never be lost and avoided.

Hinata is actually somehow impressed by them. Even though all these kind people we see on the internet do are straightly out of the kindness from their hearts, haters and toxic people tend to find even the slightest flaw from them and turn it to something of a big issue.

What should I do now? She manage to slip the question in her mind that was so occupied with all the advantages and disadvantages of the job offer.

As how Hinata is, a person full of motivational quotes and motivational words pinned in her mind, she believes that 'life starts outside of your comfort zone' and knows deep down that that's absolutely true.

Meaning, having an easy-going life as an adult is something impossible if you want to achieve a very hard goal.

If I get the job, it'll definitely help me with my life. But... I don't want to get all those negative stuff people might throw at me, just like how my clan members gave the suffering I felt when I was young. Hinata thought, with the sadness of her past still lingering on both her mind, and heart.

She knows deep down that her reasons to reject the job is selfish and childish. But it's quite reasonable at the same time, considering the past she had.

Ugghh! I just don't know anymore!

Hinata was so occupied with her thoughts that she didn't notice Ten Ten was knocking on her bedroom door from the past 5 minutes.

"Hinata!" Ten Ten shouted with a pissed off tone.

"What?!" Hinata asked.

"I've been calling you downstairs for the past 15 minutes and you haven't answered me! Are you okay?!" the bruntte answered.

"I'm fine. Just thinking about things," Hinata said, with a normal tone, with her gradually getting lower every word.

"Whaaat?!" Ten Ten asked. "Did you say something?! I didn't hear you!"

"I said I'm fine!" the blunette said again with her soft voice, forcing it to be louder.

"Hinata," Ten Ten said firmly. "Let me in."

"Why don't you just come in?"

"Your door's locked.

"Oh..." Hinata stood up and went towards the door, unlocking it. "Sorry," she apologized in front of Ten Ten who has her arms crossed.

"Are you really okay Hinata?" she loosened her arms and looked at Hinata's lavender eyes softly.

"I'm okay," Hinata answered with a smile. Not genuine, not fake either. Just the smile she uses to attract customers and to win over her job interviews.

"Really?" the brunette leaned in closer to Hinata's face, placing her hand on the blunette's forehead, checking if she has a fever or something.

"I'm really fine. Just thinking about stuff." Hinata admitted.

"What stuff? Work?" Ten Ten asked.

"Yes, apparently."

"Hm... Are you taking it?"

"I don't... I don't know Ten Ten," Hinata answered honestly.

"What's wrong? It's unusual for you to refuse job opportunities."

"I know. It's just..." the blunette contemplated whether or not she'll tell her roommate.

"It's okay, if you don't want to tell me," the brunette placed her hand on Hinata's shoulder reassuringly. Ten Ten smiled and continued, "Just remember this, consider the job very carefully. If you know you'll gain a lot from it, why not try? It wouldn't hurt to step up your game and try something out of your comfort zone. Besides, you're Hyuga Hinata. A fierce woman I know that won't give up with just a simple doubt. You're that woman right? The person who kept reminding me to never give up, not until you succeed."

"Yo-you're right. I am that woman," Hinata said, with a tear threatening to fall from her eye because of Ten Ten's remarks. "Thank you, Ten Ten," she smiled at the brunette, genuinely this time.

"No problem, what I'm saying is nothing but the truth," Ten Ten gave Hinata a warm embrace, while gradually caressing her head to give the conflicted blunette comfort. "Have you came up with a conclusion now?"

"Yeah," Hinata answered, letting go of Ten Ten. "I guess I'll take the job. But I need to tell Neji-niisan first," the blunette quickly took out her phone and dialed Neji's number.

"Okay then," Ten Ten said.

Seconds later, Neji answered.

"Hello? Hinata?" the familiar voice of Neji echoed from the phone's speaker.

"Neji-niisan, he-hello..." the blunette shyly greeted.

"It's been a while, Hinata," Neji started with a calm voice. Hinata can imagine her older brother smile on the other side of the phone. "How are you doing?" he asked.

"I'm doing great nii-san. How about you?"

"I'm good as well. Still managing somehow," Neji joked and Hinata chuckled little.

"Is father giving you a hard time?"

"No, I mean, he's still strict as ever but I'm fine," Neji answered.

"I-I see.." Hinata said. After that short greet with each other, there was silence. Hinata was still quite unsure is she should tell Neji about it.

"Do you have something to say Hinata?" Neji broke the silence not long after. "I'm sure there's a purpose for this call."

Hinata sighed and shaked her head. I guess there's no helping it. She thought as she braced herself to tell her cousin. "Guess you saw through me," she said first. "I'm just gonna tell you that I'm going to take a job that has a connection to the media," she said, then letting out a breath that she didn't know she was holding in.

"What? Are you gonna be a model or something?" Neji asked with a slightly ticked tone. "If that's the work, I suggest you don't take it."

"No nii-san, I'm not gonna be a model or something. I'm just gonna work as an assistant for an actor," Hinata corrected.

"You sure about it? You don't have to force yourself into something you're uncomfortable with."

Hinata was about to answer when Ten Ten suddenly snatched the phone from the blunette's hand.

"W-Wha- Ten Ten!" the blunette tried to retrieve her phone back. But to no avail, the brunette easily dodged her hands.

Ten Ten covered the microphone part of the phone and whispered, "It's alright, I'll talk to him," the brunette winked before she started talking. "What's up Neji?" she greeted simply.

"Hinata? Who- Ten Ten?"

"The one and only. Now listen here Neji, why are doubting Hinata?" Ten Ten asked with her eyebrows slightly furrowed. Hinata just looked at her roommate, with herr heart thumping so fast on in her chest because of how nervous she is.

"I'm not doubting her or anything. I'm just telling her to get a job where she's comfortable with," Neji answered.

"Oh, don't worry about her. You know what Hinata always says, 'life starts outside of your comfort zone'."

"I know that. I'm just saying-"

"Yes, I know. Now let her decide what she's gonna do with her life. She's not that little shy teenager you knew before," Ten Ten paused and took a glance at Hinata. The brunette smiled and continued, "She can do it. Believe in her."

Neji suddenly became speechless from what his girlfriend just said.

"Fine," He gave up.

"Thank you!" Ten Ten immediately hang up and told Hinata that she got her cousin's approval.

"Really?!" the blunette exclaimed. "Thank goodness..." she sighed and smiled. "Thank you Ten Ten."

"No problem," the brunette winked and walked towards the door. "Now, go tell whoever you need to talk to and say you're in," she added and finally exited.

Hinata nodded and smiled, starting her laptop. After entering her password and refreshing her home screen, she went to email.

The blunette typed in her message and sent it to the email address that Sakura gave her.

"Okay, I can do this.." Hinata tried to remove all doubt and continued to send.

Not long after, she got a respond.

"Wow... That was fast," she murmured to herself and opened the email.

The content of the message wasn't lengthy, but all the needed information are written.

"Dearest Ms. Hyuga Hinata," the blunette started reading the email. "We are happy for the chance you gave us. Please meet us tomorrow at the address provided down below this message..." Hinata took a glance at the address provided and noticed that it wasn't that far from her place. She looked back at the message and read the rest. "For any questions and more information regarding us, please don't hesitate to email this account or call ###-###. Thank you for your time," she finished reading all the contents and nodded.

"Hm... Tomorrow?" she asked herself, remembering if she already had plans for tomorrow. "Nah, I'm free. I'll go," Hinata got to the conclusion and stood up, exiting her room once and for all with a smile plastered on her face.

I'm finally getting a job... She thought to herself.

"Cancel it," the woman talking didn't even get the chance to finish her statement when she was cut off by the man sitting in his desk in front of her.

"Understood," the said woman answered and scrolled down her iPad that seems to be a list of schedules. "Also sir, we got an email from a famous director, saying that he wants you to take the lead role for his ne-"

"Tell them I'm not interested," the man flat out answered again.

"Understood," the woman, looked again at her iPad. "Sir about th-"

"If that isn't important, please don't bother telling me it and leave my office. I'm busy," the man, said without looking up at the woman. He just continued signing a pile of paper.

"But, Mr. Uzumaki, it's about your personal assistant," the woman said. This caught the man's attention, addressed as 'Mr. Uzumaki'.

"What about it?" he relaxed his back on his seat and waited.

"Someone applied as one," the woman answered. The Uzumaki chuckled and smirked.

"So someone took the job huh?" he said, the smirk still not leaving his face.
