The carriage came to a slow halt. Finally. They had finally arrived, they had discussed how they would each not come into contact with each other if their hosts seemed to want to keep them apart and gather what information they could, this of course was more a courtesy for Narberal as the two others understood their mission.

Their master had made it more than blatantly clear that he would not be contactable, nor would he try to contact them. They took this as a general understanding that they should minimise contact with the outside world should they – on the off chance – get intercepted. His master did really think of everything.

Why do I have to suffer such a horrible form of torture. I have to hold myself back to not show off my creator to the whole world, this is indeed the biggest trial of my entire existence. For Father to create a role that tests me so much ...

"Welcome esteemed dignitaries of the Sorcerous Kingdom. This one is a servant of Omnaadsence Iculvuls, also referred to as the Diamond Dragon Lord, one of the five dragon councillors of the Argland Council State, it is my pleasure to welcome your esteemed persons to our humble state, we hope to have a fruitful exchange."

The war had already begun. Pandora's Actors thoughts were disturbed by the arrival of what could only be described as a child. She had the build and innocent look of a child, she was indeed adorable, with snow white hair, her skin was an almost pink hue, nothing about her seemed off, even the rabbits ears on the top of her head seemed not too out of place. Of course these were the thoughts on a denizen of Nazarick.

"Rabbitman, I was of the preconception that they were found further north of here. Ah, my apologies, we thank you for your warm welcome. I am Momon, member of Darkness and Law enforcer of the Sorcerous Kingdom, this is my partner Nabe." He said stepping out of the carriage with Nabe in tow.

"And ..."

"Ah, there is no need, there is no one around here who doesn't know or who has not heard of the Prime Minister of the Sorcerous Kingdom. We welcome you, Albedo-sama."

Is she brown nosing already, this is a terrible plot, what are you playing at? If you wanted us to lower our guard sending a child is fine, but this makes her actions questionable. Unless ... their plan runs on making us paranoid ... Ainz-sama sent Aura and Mare on a Dragon to the Empire, are they saying they know this as well ... well this certainly makes me want more information.

"Thank you for welcoming us, but what do we call you?" Albedo used her sultry voice, it indeed was a juxtaposition against the looming threat that was the Guardian who boasted the best defence.

"Forgive this one for not mentioning it earlier. This one goes by the name Lilia Adamantem, you may call me whatever you like."

Does she mean we can choose between her name or surname or just literally call her whatever? Should I call her 'whatever' to test this out. Ah, Nabe-san! Don't call her an insect. What am I even trying? Her racial abilities are lost to her spellcasting.

"Then Lilia-san, we'll be in your care." Pandora's Actor chose the same approach he tried with Riku Agneia.

"Please follow me. I shall show you to your rooms. The agenda for today will be getting you settled in. We'll have a meet and greet with high ranking servants of the councillors. There will be a dinner party tomorrow evening, also tomorrow we will have a tour of the city and from the third day official discussions will begin. I hear the councillors plan for this to take at least one week, if there is anything you would like to do in between or after these meetings, please inform this one and it shall be done as soon as possible."

Well she certainly is well spoken.

"That is fine. Lilia-san, we'll be in your care." Albedo certainly seemed to find this amusing, not that it was overly apparent.

The room he was given certainly lacked a lot of things if you compared it to his office in Nazarick, but Pandora's Actor had been around this world long enough to know that that was an unfair comparison. But it was perfectly on par with his room and office in E-Rantel, now that his office in E-Rantel had been furnished with goods from the former Royal Palace.

His luggage was put down by footman that accompanied Lilia. Albedo and Nabe had been whisked away by another human woman as soon as they entered the building. Now that he thought about it, he was pretty sure this room would be far removed from those two. He was particularly worried if they would try and separate those two, if they did Narberal would have to be a lot more careful, but other than that everything so far had been going as planned.

"Momom-sama. We have been selected to take care of you for the duration of your stay. We'll be in your care." The voice belonged to a young human male accompanied by four others – two orcs, who seemed to be the muscle of the group, a hobgoblin female and a dark elf female. Now he was intrigued. As far as he knew wood-elf's were the ones that resided in the Elf Kingdom, which admittedly was far from here, the Dark Elves had left Tob Forest. Was this where they came? All he knew was that the Dark Elves were far removed and had nothing to do with their light skinned counterparts.

"I will be personally attending to Albedo-sama, if there is anything you need to ask of me before I leave ..."

"Ah, don't worry about it, I am sure you leave me in hands as equally capable as yours, Lilia-san."

"Then please excuse this one. Diamante, Brock, you're with me." The hobgoblin and the slightly larger orc followed her.

She left without introducing her colleagues. Pandora's Actor wasn't sure how things were done in the Council State, but generally that was wrong. He wasn't particularly bothered by it though so he sat himself down of the sofa and sighed heavily in an exaggerated manner, he was hoping to get his energies back. Seeing that his new entourage remained still, almost disappearing into the wall he figured that they wouldn't do anything unless he gave the word.

"Even though our time together will be short may I know your names?"

"You would like to know the names of insignificant ones such as ourselves?"

This seems familiar. E-Rantel? The Maids in Nazarick?

"If you do not mind."

As Lilia walked down the walls she sighed at her rotten luck. Although Momon couldn't by many measures of the imaginations be called handsome he still very much was easy to read. He was a nice man and would be easily manipulated by her adorable disposition but role of being Momon's tour guide had been given to Luna Carim, the beautiful dark elf from who knows where, while she was stuck with women whose beauty even she had to admit she would never reach.

She knocked on the door that the two women were sharing, though they wanted to give them separate rooms each this was necessary to watch how the Prime Minister of that cursed country interacted with someone who had de facto rebelled against their rule.

"Come in." The voice called. Even though this was essentially their second meeting she still couldn't get over her insecurity. The peerless beauty and her raven black hair and wings that put a moonless night to shame, her alabaster skin and golden pupils that weren't looking at her were what greeted her. The peerless beauty was sitting at the desk and doing ... paperwork.

"May I ask what your esteemed person is doing?"

"Oh this? I am simply writing in my diary. I must seem a little childish to you for doing such, it's just that I simply like to look back on my days from time to time, seeing how far I've come."

The Prime Minister didn't even look up once as she spoke. "Oh no, not at all. My apologies for interrupting you."

"Albedo-sama." The woman who had become known as the Beautiful Princess walked into the room. This was information to Lilia.

Why does she look so annoyed? Does she hate having to share a room with the demon?

"Ah, Nabe-san. Was there enough place for all our clothing?" Albedo closed the book and carefully placed it into the drawer. The Beautiful Princess simply nodded.

She's being treated like a maid? I guess I should bring her to our side after all.

"So I see the rumours are true. The only reason why you serve an undead is because you're a demon. While that undead mercilessly murders millions, you keep the living ones just to torture them." Lilia's tone changed into a more assertive tone.

"You know, the intrigue in an act lies in the mystery behind it. If you break character before the play is even over, or rather has barely even begun doesn't that simply isolate you from your goal?" Albedo's face didn't change.

"That may be true, but doesn't that mean my goal lies elsewhere?"

"That's exactly what I'm talking about. Well whatever, do as you please."

"There's only so much you can expect from struggling inchworms." Nabe spoke a disdainful sentence for the first time, but for some reason this felt more natural.

They knew? I hoped that my practising would be enough? Unless it's my size?

Lilia threw herself on the couch. "You're definitely smart, but smart woman mean nothing to me. If you can get me closer to Momon, I certainly won't be linger around you much longer."

"Mosquitoes like you have no place near Momon-san." Though her tone was similar Lilia didn't miss the desire to protect a respected figure in her voice, it felt almost dutiful.

"Nabe-sama. What do you think of the Sorcerous Kingdom?"

"I'd rather not be asked questions by gnats like you?"

I'm on your side dammit!

"I just thought we could talk about something, seeing that the Prime Minister-sama may have something she wants to do?"

"Not at all. You two carry on, don't my presence at all." The Prime Minister was visible amused, that is of course if you took the slight change in tone at face value.

"Then what do you think of the Sorcerer King?" the beautiful princesses face changed to a bright pink hue.

"Albedo-sama, I'll be in my room." She turned on her heel and left. "I suppose you should be well rested before dinner."

This is troublesome. She was re-evaluating her options when the other two who she had lost along the way knocked and entered the room.

It was way after dinner and her thoughts remained on the same thing. All she had managed to do was amuse the Prime Minister and get on the Beautiful Princess' bad side. To make matters worse she wasn't even seated anywhere near Momom the whole night. The chance to lay her plan would have been perfect with everyone ogling the two beautiful women, who had different yet complimentary beauties. If Albedo's beauty was dark and mature, Nabe's was dark and cold.

While the man who entered the room between them was certainly a ray of sunshine. He was cheerful and got along with everyone but he commanded enough respect that certified that this man was indeed Momom of Darkness.

Ah, if I could get close enough I'd have him dancing in the palm of my hand. Every man wants to protect a cute and ditzy child. Even I figured out that these women would walk past a starving child. No, they'd most likely kill the child out of "mercy", or would they take out a piece of food only to throw it away to torture that child even more? No, they'd most probably eat it ... in front of the child.
