Danny and Lindsay wasted no time rushing to arrest Rebecca's father while they watched Mac run over to Rebecca's body. "You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney, if you can not afford one, one will be provided to you," Danny began reading off his rights before he kneed the man in the groin and all the officers looked away seconds before.

"You bastard cop. How dare you harm someone who's unarmed," he snarled at the man and Lindsay looked to Mac who smirked before glancing over to the three. "You just wanted him to do that. All because my daughter's a bit-," he continued before Mac didn't even hesitate and gloved his hand before slapping him.

"What we all saw was a drug addicted, alcoholic take aim at his daughter. Meanwhile, your wife is dead and she's lost her mother. It took one of my Crime Scene Investigators to talk Rebecca down. Meaning what you've done was so bad that she felt the need to have a gun pointed at you. Your daughter openly admitted you're a bully. She felt the only way to make you stop was to have a gun aimed. When she was unarmed and stood up, you thought that was your chance. You shot at her. In response, me and Detective Flack shot two rounds each into your legs. Clean shoot," he responded before nodding to Danny and Lindsay who began shoving the man out the door. Mac ran back over to Rebecca's body, while Flack and Hawkes joined him before looking in horror at the splatter patterns on her shirt. Hawkes quickly took a few pictures for the court case he knew would occur for her father, before kneeling with Mac. He nodded at the man knowing why he took the pictures and couldn't be more grateful as he was ready to personally deal with her father, again. He then checked her throat for a pulse and Hawkes frowned looking at Rebecca's face. "She has a steady pulse. She's alive."

"How is it steady though? The girl just got shot," Flack answered. Mac nodded and then looked at the small face confused and concerned. Flack was about to continue before Mac and Hawkes both slipped a glove on and pressed their hands to the bloody shirt and noted the color on the glove. "That's way too bright red for blood."

"For real blood. Not for fake," Hawkes answered as he and Mac grabbed the buttoned shirt and pulled it apart to see a bulletproof vest with packets covering the front of it. "The kid knew she'd get shot at, so she planned ahead. Meaning that when Lindsay brought her," he continued.

"She helped Rebecca prepare. But I think the one thing that nobody expected was that shed full of guns. Flack go take a look," Mac instructed and he nodded going outside. Mac then looked at Rebecca and as much as he didn't want to, he quickly patted down her pockets and saw they were empty. "I don't think in my entire career, I've ever been so scared in my life by a child." Hawkes chuckled at that and then began tapping Rebecca's face repeatedly to get no response. "Why's her pulse so strong but her brain isn't cooperating?"

"Give me her left hand," he instructed pulling out a lancer and a blood glucose test. "If she came straight here after the stomach pump," he began and Mac realized. "Her blood sugar is running low," he answered and as the finger was pricked, Hawkes grabbed the test and let her finger drop some blood on it before letting Mac hold the hand with some gauze covering the finger to stop the bleeding. After a minute the machine beeped and Hawkes nodded grabbing a tube of glucose paste. "Rebecca ran on fumes. With the last of her strength that existed after the stomach pump, she came here to make sure her dad didn't hurt you."

"She sacrificed her strength to make sure I was okay. But how she did it was wrong," he mused as Hawkes put some of the glucose paste in her mouth and waited as he knew sugar would dissolve in her mouth and he kept using his gloved hand to massage her throat so she'd swallow the paste. After a few minutes they watched as she groaned in confusion and they helped her sit up and Mac watched Flack return and gently remove the vest by it's shoulder's since the vest was evidence in a case. "Hey," he breathed in relief and Mac watched as Hawkes looked at her hands. "We do need to test your hands for GSR. Did you shoot your gun at all?"

"Once. I shot it at the ground though," she answered pointing to where Hawkes could clearly see something had hit by the counter. "That's where my bullet was aimed. I wanted him to step away from me and my mother's body, so I only did it to scare him." Hawkes began the test for the residue and as her hands tested positive he took pictures before wiping it off.

"She's not lying Mac. There's a bullet in here," Hawkes informed while taking pictures and then used some forceps to pull it out and slipped it in a bag. He then saw Flack open up the magazine of the gun Rebecca held and noted she was telling the truth. Only one bullet was discharged from the gun. Hawkes took images of the gun with it's magazine revealed to show it only had one bullet missing.

"Plus her father didn't look bloody when we walked in," Danny added as he walked over and looked at Rebecca. "Hey you," he greeted and she smiled at Danny before he looked to Mac. "Her father is a piece of work," he began and then waited for it and heard the snicker from Rebecca. "Knew that was coming. Now I need the truth. Do you know where he would have hid weapons? Drugs? Alcohol?" She nodded and he helped her up. "You and I have to do some drug finding. Bosses don't want us leaving without it."

"I advise we either a) have windows wide open or b) have gas masks on." Mac looked at her confused and she chuckled at that. "You openly said it before. My house smells horrible. Uncovering the causes for the scent? It'll only make it worse."

"Option B as we may be dealing with powdered drugs. We'll go out and then come back in with masks," Mac answered as they walked outside and grabbed masks. Mac before he even thought about putting one on Rebecca's face handed her a few mints. "It's sugar but you need it. We have to keep your blood sugar up for a while." She quickly took the handful and ate them before Mac slipped a mask on her face and as he thought it was secure he looked at her. "Breathe out." As she did he kept his hand near her face. "I didn't feel it, but did air brush up against your eyes or cheek where it's not covered?" She shook her head and he smirked. "Your's has a tight seal then." As they walked back in, Mac closed the door. "Alright the scene is back to what it was before we showed up."

"Let's start upstairs and work our way down. I know dad took my map. I mapped out where he was hiding them. Just in case there ever was a raid on this place," she responded. Mac smirked and walked with her up the stairs and into a large room.

"This room could be filled with drugs," Flack noted and she nodded as she walked over to her father's side of the bed and opened drawers to reveal drugs. She was about to continue before she saw a piece of paper. As she pulled it out she smirked as it opened.

"We have the literal layout of his storage system," she responded handing over two sheets. "Me and Hawkes can take downstairs if you guys take up," she offered.

"Danny, Hawkes and you take the lower level," Mac responded as Jo and Stella walked up. "Jo, you and Stella need to work together too. Jo heads downstairs with Rebecca while Stella's with us," he informed. As the 4 that were assigned downstairs walked, Rebecca checked her map as did Jo.

"You really didn't think to say where in the rooms huh?" Jo was shocked.

"Gimme a break. I'm an 11 year old who just knew if something went wrong, I needed to know what rooms had drugs and a rough idea where," she answered. Jo nodded at that and Hawkes checked around looking for some particles. Rebecca was about to check walls before she pursed her lips as she walked by the TV. "Hawkes watch your head," she advised and Jo knew what she meant, so she and Danny rushed over to in front of the TV. "Help me knock out the screen. A couple good hits should do it," she informed. As they both pounded at the back of the screen it fell out with 2 hits each. Jo and Danny caught it and then looked up to see what Rebecca meant. "That's 10 out of 20," she mused looking at the map. After 4 hours, everyone managed to recover every drug and get it transported out of the house. "That's all of them. Granted with that much he was selling," Rebecca mused as she leaned against the wall, tilting a picture frame and then gasped as she almost fell backwards, if Jo and Mac hadn't grabbed her shoulders and pulled her up while the wall moved. "Okay I didn't know that existed."

"He probably didn't want you knowing it existed because he knew you had a map of all rooms with drugs," Stella answered honestly. As she looked down, Mac watched as Rebecca slipped down. "Rebecca!" Stella glanced down and noticed she couldn't see. Mac and Hawkes shined their lights straight down and everyone heard it within milliseconds.

"OW!"

"Sorry," Hawkes called down, before breaking into laughter with everyone else. Nobody could help it just due to the nature of how it didn't even take a second for her to scream out her pain at them. Mac tried to talk but then went back to chuckling.

"Tell that to me when two CSIs didn't just shine the brightest lights they have directly into my eyes. Then started laughing about it," she warned. Mac chuckled and then looked down. "I can see you. So don't even ask."

"Alright I'm going to drop a flashlight straight down so I advise you step back and have your hands ready to catch it. I'll join you down there once I have an idea what's where you are," he informed. She stepped back as he grabbed a new light. "You ready?"

"Drop it before I give you a reason to arrest," she warned and he chuckled dropping it. Mac and Hawkes watched as the light came on and she looked around. "What's down there? It looks way too small for us to take a guess."

"Nothing really of," she began before pausing and moving the light. "We have a passageway. Our house ends not far from where the passageway starts so it leads to the outside somewhere," she answered.

"Mac and I will come down there so just hang on," Jo answered.

"Be careful as there's a rung that," she began before Jo yelped in shock and slipped down a few of them. "isn't attached," Rebecca finished. Jo looked at her as she got down there and then Mac joined them. Rebecca walked ahead and Mac was kind of glad he hadn't cleared themselves to take off the masks yet.

"Claire is going to demand we both shower when we get back."

"Wouldn't be surprised. We're in the sewers without the sewage," she answered before she saw a door. "Well we're here. You two," she began and Mac looked at her. "Don't start. I'm still working on payback for you and Hawkes laughing."

"Fair," he answered and as she opened the door, she glanced around and smirked. "Anything?"

"I don't see anyone," she answered and they walked out and quickly checked any little spots before nodding and then getting a glance. "This has to be a drug lab," she answered looking at all the equipment. She then glanced around and frowned. "My house wouldn't be the emergency exit. There has to be another one."

"Regardless let's get upstairs again," Jo answered and Rebecca shook her head. "If we find it, we might stumble upon people your dad was working with."

"Doubt it. Dad's a coward. He's going to have an exit into the streets," she answered before she pushed against a wall and smirked. "What's behind door 1," she teased and Mac chuckled helping her move it. "The passage."

"Let's go," Mac answered before following her and as they found a door, Mac and Jo had their weapons ready again and as the door opened, Rebecca stepped through and sighed in relief. "Where are we?" Mac was shocked that she was right. It was an alley.

"We're on Prime and Main in the alleyway. So we're behind my house," she answered pointing to the house.

As they walked back, Flack looked at them. "First off you guys stink."

"We're aware. It was a sewer minus the sewage. Secondly there's a drug lab with a secret entrance in the house and on the streets," Rebecca answered.

"Then let's clear it out," Flack answered looking at Rebecca. "We need her to lead us Mac," he continued and the man nodded knowing she found the passageway so they spent another two hours with the occasional food break before Mac heard it as Rebecca stepped out after the last load. Her stomach growled loudly.

"I'm sure Claire is starting dinner," he promised and she nodded as they got back in the car, she looked outside. "We do still need to have a long chat."

"Chat? Or you talk I listen and then get given what I deserve?"

Mac looked at her and then chuckled. "I know you're just trying to mentally prepare, but we aren't talking about this until morning. Claire will not wait though. My talk can," he informed her as they got out and walked into the door. Claire was not even caring that they smelled of sewer and hugged them both. But as Rebecca was about to grab clothes from the bag Lindsay dropped off, Claire landed a firm swat on her bottom.

"Ow," she winced.

"You should not have went into that house to begin with. Least of all with your stomach just pumped out," she warned firmly. Rebecca nodded and Claire pulled her into a hug. "You had me and Mac so worried," she whispered and Rebecca nodded hugging back and almost crying. But Claire knew too. "Alright. Both of you shower, I'm changing my clothes. You both reek of wherever you were."

"Yes ma'am," they both responded chuckling and then Mac looked at Rebecca and she nodded knowing the unspoken message. Mac and Claire had opened their home to Rebecca and she just got a taste of what Claire as her mother by adoption was like.
