Midori's Harem

Author's Note: this chapter will be a Multi-parter and focus primarily on Mirio as suitor. I will be adding bits of KiriDeku as well as the usual TodoBakuDeku to tie it back to the main story. ENJOY!

Chapter 3: Senpai!? Part 1

"STOP IT!" Izumi shouted at Shoto and Bakugo as the two of them duked it out on Ground Beta. What had started out as a heart to heart between the three of them, had turned into a full blown one on one battle between the two young men. "Damn it this is not funny anymore you two! You're gonna get us in so much trouble! You guys already failed the exam this is-"

"Shut up!" Both turned their heads toward her, their fists in each other's shirts.

"This is your own damn fault, Usagi! Since you keep avoiding the issue, there's only one course of action left!" Bakugou turned his eyes back to Todoroki, the intense hatred in them apparent. "I won't lose to this Icyhot bastard!"

"This is the only way he'll listen, Izumi." Shoto suggested, the temper in his own eyes lit like a flame. "If it's a fight this guy wants, then so be it! You better leave before you're caught up in this."

Izumi gawked and then snarled and she ran forward trying to shove them apart.

"What? No! What you two are doing is stupid! If you're gonna fight then do it during practice or rent a training room or something!" She shouted with clear aggravation. "Mr. Aizawa is gonna flip his lid!"

"We'll just get stopped if we do this during practice." Bakugo was the first to pull himself free and face her. "Walk away, Izumi. You may be the reason, but you don't get to interfere."

"Seriously?" Izumi grit her teeth and she stepped up to both of them and slapped them both. "Are you both idiots?! Have you both forgotten why we're here? Why we're going to this school? It's not to date, or fight amongst each other! We're here to be heroes! Stop being so childish!"

"Neither of us have forgotten!" Todoroki held his cheek where she'd slapped him and he lowered his head a bit shamefully. "… but we can't just let these emotions hang in the air like this. After everything that's happened today, Izumi, we need to have this out. We need to settle this!"

"Why? What brought all of this on? I know you're both upset about the exam but how did it escalate to this? I don't get it!" She looked at them with teary eyes.

"You should." Bakugo retorted facing her now. "You of all people should have known! Just because you've got All Might's power now doesn't mean you get to act high and mighty and pretend that you didn't see this coming!"

"Kacchan…" Izumi hissed and looked around the dark hoping there was no one nearby who heard that. "I told you both of that in confidence because I trusted you and I couldn't stand lying to you anymore… I wasn't trying to hold my power over you or act like I know better but I can't stand seeing you two fight especially when I know I'm the cause!"

She shook and wiped at her tears.

"I love both of you, you're my classmates, my best friends, my rivals! You're both so important to me, and I can't stand to see either of you throw away your goals and lose focus because of me." She lifted her head, her eyes fierce. "So if this is how you two are gonna handle it… then I don't want to be with either of you!"

"What?" They looked at her dumbfounded.

"You heard me. Screw dating, screw love, and this stupid up and down roller coaster of emotions you both put me through! I'm All Might's successor, I've got a responsibility to the power he's given me, and I can't afford to be distracted by your petty arguments anymore. So as far as I'm concerned the two of you can date each other because I've had it!" She turned her back to them. "You both have a chance to make up the exam by taking those extra classes. I suggest you focus on that and leave me alone!"

~The Following Day~

"I should have known it wasn't gonna be that easy..." Izumi sighed heavily as sat at her desk with her notebooks out. She glanced behind her at the other two in the room. Todoroki sat on the floor pretending to read and Bakugou lay on her bed with his back to her. "Can you both please stop sulking, and focus? Everyone else has started classes and we don't wanna fall behind, right?"

"Shut up, In case you forgot, I'm mad at you. This is all your fucking fault, you stupid rabbit." Shortly after the fighting stopped, All Might and Eraser had pinned all three of them down and put them on house arrest. She was secluded for three days, and the two boys for four.

"How is it my fault that the two of you decided to have a macho battle in the middle of the night without supervision? If anyone should be mad it's me, I'm the one you dragged into it."

"It's your fault because you're not owning up to your own mistakes. If you were really that determined to give us the cold shoulder you shouldn't have led us on for as long as you did."

"Kacchan I told you exactly the reason why I've been keeping you guys at arm's length, and trust me it wasn't easy working up the courage to do so."

"The fact that you're All Might's protege, and your feelings for us have nothing to do with each other!" He rolled back to face her then sat up. "You just can't own up to the fact that you haven't been able to make up your mind. You're using your responsibilities as an excuse to run away from the issue like a coward."

Izumi sighed and glared down at Todoroki who hadn't said a word yet.

"Well? Do you have anything to say about this?"

He gave her a brief glance then went back to reading. Izumi pouted at the obvious avoidance.

"You know what, fine." She slapped her books closed. "I was really hoping I'd finally knocked some sense into the two of you, but it would seem I've just wasted my time." She stood up and picked up her trash bag. "I'm gonna go finish my chores. When I get back the two of you better be gone or I'm telling Mr. Aizawa you're harassing me!"

She slammed the door and Bakugou huffed and rolled back on the bed scowling. He heard Todoroki close his book and stand up.

"Just for the record, Bakugou." He spoke quietly. "I agree with you that she's running away… but I also think she's right about our priorities being skewed. We should be focusing on attaining our license, not fighting over her."

Todoroki walked out. On the bed Bakugou grit his teeth in frustration.

"Yeah..." He turned his face into Izumi's pillow, the scent of her shampoo doing nothing to stop the pain in his chest. "... but knowing that doesn't make my feelings for her disappear."

~Meanwhile~

Izumi collected the trash from the kitchen and common room as well. The rest of the Class 1A kids were returning from orientation and lingering around talking about what happened. There was talk of internships and other exciting elements. Unfortunately neither she nor the boys were allowed any details due to being under house arrest.

"This sucks, I can't believe those two jerks are blaming me for all of this. It's their own damn fault for failing the exam." She sighed heavily and adjusted the trash bags in her arms. "I can't let them get to me. I need to stay focused so I don't fall behind. This is their problem not-"

"Taking the trash out, huh?"

Izumi slowly turned her head towards the source of the voice. She saw a face poking out of the wall, studying her carefully with playful blue eyes, and a perky smile.

"Don't forget to organize and separate the recyclables." It spoke again and her brain finally registered the shock and she let out a little yelp falling backwards onto the ground.

"Who...What...Huh?!"

"Whoa, careful.' The face disappeared then reappeared on the ground in front of her. "You must be one of those excitable first years."

"Eh um… yeah I guess." She went to her knees. "First year… does that mean you're a student like me?"

"Sure am, and I gotta say when I heard about the trouble coming from some first years I wasn't expecting such a cute girl to be among them."

"Cu-" Izumi blushed. "Excuse me?"

"Well I'll leave you to do your chores. I'll see you soon, okay?" He winked at her and slipped back into the ground. Izumi blinked and her hands felt around the ground where his face had just been.

"What the heck was that all about?"

~Two Days Later~

Izumi blinked in surprise as three senior classmen entered the room; Nejire Hado, a cute female with a bubbly and curious personality, Tamaki Amajiki, a gloomy and terribly shy young man, and finally Mirio Togata...

"The future's gonna be…" Mirio paused, extending an ear waiting to hear a response. When all he got was silence he laughed it off. "Awful! That was your response guys! Oh man, my call and response was a total fail!"

Mirio Togata… was a very strange guy.

All three upperclassmen were strange to Izumi's mind. Still they were the top students in all of U.A. and experienced work-based studies first hand. It wouldn't hurt to hear what they had to say and what kind of example they could follow. Besides, Mirio seemed nice and eager to help.

"Huh… I see," Mirio held his chin as he looked over the crop of students. "I think I've got an idea. The best and most rational way for you guys to learn is to fight me all at once!"

… or maybe he was just crazy..

A little while later everyone gathered in the gym for the battle royale fight against Mirio. Dressed in their P.E. uniforms Class 1A scattered around him haphazardly, awaiting instructions and protocol on how to go about the fight.

"This isn't a good idea, Mirio." Amajiki spoke from the far side of the room. He faced the wall, his anxiety making it impossible for him to face the crowd of junior classmen. "Not everyone has your drive, and some of them might not be able to recover after fighting you."

The way Amajiki talked about Mirio's abilities piqued her interest. Was he really that strong that he believed it would damage their psyche?

Suddenly Izumi felt eager to stand up to him. She wasn't confident in beating him… but the fact that she was All Might's protege, and Mirio was the next in top up and coming heroes made her curious on just how far apart their abilities were.

"Listen, we realize you're a few years ahead of us but we're not as inexperienced as you think." Tokoyami protested. "We've fought pro heroes before."

"Yeah, and we've taken down some legitimate villains." Kirishima added putting his hands proudly on his hips. "I don't think you have to worry about hurting us."

"Mmhmm I've heard about your accomplishments, but you're gonna have to show me just how good you are." Mirio stood tall and browsed the group. "So who's gonna get this party started?"

"Me! I-" Kirishima started to volunteer but Izumi stepped up.

"No, I will!" She crouched into a readied position, her eyes sharp and intense on her opponent as she activated her quirk. "I've spent too much time sitting around the dorms. It's about time I saw some action again."

"Guess I can't argue with that." Kirishima sent her a confident grin and nodded at Mirio. "Better watch out, Senpai. She's tougher than she looks."

"I'll just bet…" Mirio eyed Izumi, and found that he liked the fierce intensity in her eyes. "Well whenever you're ready."

"Alright, Here I go!" Prepared to give it her all, Izumi raced forward, her speed nearly matching Iida as she streaked across the room in a flash of green. She bunched her muscles and got ready to leap in for an attack… and saw his clothes falling off his body.

"OH MY GAH!" She squealed, her body reacting before she could stop it. The jerky forward movement caused her to trip and she fell into Mirio who was attempting to pull his pants up into place.

"Whoops sorry about- Whoa!" The two of them went sprawling onto the floor, Izumi landing on top of Mirio forcing him to smack his head against the pavement. "Yowch!"

"Ugh, why is the world spinning?" Izumi felt flustered and dazed. Her vision blurred a moment before focusing on Mirio. Their faces were super close, her well endowed breasts pushed up on his naked chest. She felt his legs shift and something pressed against her thigh that made her go bright red. "Y-y-your…"

"Wow that was some attack. I never saw it coming." Mirio tried to laugh the situation off, and his hands went instinctively to her hips to nudge her off.

"KYA!" Izumi sat upright, her hand coming out to strike but Mirio slipped right out from under her and through the floor.

"What… where?" Izumi looked around stunned and still flustered.

"Midoriya are you okay?!" Kirishima rushed over, picking Izumi up off.

"Yeah I'm fine." She leaned on him a moment, her face still flushed, but her mind now preoccupied with the fight. "But where did he-"

"AHHHH!" There was another sharp shriek from Jirou behind them. The two whirled around just in time to see Mirio take out all the long distant fighters within seconds.

"POWER!"

"Holy crap, he can teleport?" Kirishima gawked. "How'd he luck out with such an incredible quirk?"

"I don't think he's teleporting…" Izumi's eyes narrowed. "There's more to his quirk than what we're seeing."

"Do you have a plan?" Iida questioned as all the close quarter fighters closed in, staying steady.

"Yes, but it won't be easy. Whether he's teleporting or simply phasing through matter, he's still landing his attacks directly. Which means we'll be able to counter in the moment he's about to make contact."

"Midori-chan!" Uraraka smiled with new hope.

"We all need to stay calm," Izumi put her hands back into fighting position. "Even if we can't tell what he's doing, we should theorize with what we do now, and find a way to beat him."

"Oh yeah, that's the Midori we all know and love!" Kirishima grinned at her. "House arrest did nothing for your fighting spirit."

"Heh," Izumi couldn't stop the blush, nor the smile that spread on her lips from the compliment. Mirio thought for a moment that she looked cute when she smiled, before it disappeared and her lips firmed with hard concentration.

"Well let's see if you can figure it out!" He phased through the floor. Like he'd done before he reappeared behind the group, all of the fighters were still facing in the direction he was or looking off to the side, but Izumi turned directly towards him.

So, he thought with some surprise, she predicted where he'd come up. Smart!

"Not this time…" Doing her best not to let his lack of clothes bother her, Izumi kicked high, her leg stretching out to a near split. Her foot barely caught his chin, as the angle caught him off guard, and she went for a second attack trying to keep with the momentum.

Smart, fast, and strong… Mirio smiled big and phased his arm through her next attack. Oh yeah, she was definitely the real deal.

"Blinder touch eyeball technique!" He forced her to flinch, and used that brief moment of surprise to attack. She went down fast, the force of his punch causing her to fly.

"MIDORI-" Kirishima called out to her with concern, but it left him open for attack. He buckled to his knees, and soon so did the rest of his classmates. Mirio snagged his pants and gave a confident pose of victory.

"POWER!"

~Locker rooms: After the Fight~

"Man that Togata was sure something else." Uraraka complimented as she pulled her uniform back on. "To have such a complicated quirk and really succeed with it is impressive."

"I agree, and his speech about work studies have given me new perspective on what to expect further down the line." Momo agreed with a warm smile. "He seems like a natural born leader."

"I'm glad we got a good lesson out of it, but I really wish he could have found a way not to be naked." Jirou frowned and looked at Izumi. "Are you alright by the way, Midoriya? You fell right on top of him, that must have been so awkward."

"It really was…" Izumi sighed heavily and covered her face as the remembrance of it made her fidget. "I'm really glad Kacchan and Todoroki weren't around to see that. It was so embarrassing."

"Personally I would have loved to have seen their reactions." Ashido giggled. "I mean after the way they've been acting, you should really set your sights on someone older like him."

"Mina!" Izumi stood up with a huff. "I've got enough boy trouble as it is. I don't need to add to the already problematic situation by taking on an older boy."

"I dunno, Midori, I think she's got a point." Uraraka gave her a nudge. "If you had an older boyfriend, someone who was more mature and understanding it would only be beneficial to you. He can also help you study and give you more tips on things like work study."

"That is a good point…" Izumi muttered but then snapped out of it. "Whoa, wait a minute! What am I saying? No! No more boys! No more dates! No more complicated and emotional relationships! I've had enough!"

She slapped the door to her locker closed and plopped down on the bench.

"Whoa geez, sorry." Ashido shrugged. "Forget I even brought it up."

"Sorry Mina, but I've absolutely had my fill of relationships." Izumi sighed and folded her hands in her lap, fidgeting in place out of nervous habit. "Besides, I'm sure Togata-Senpai sees me as nothing but a troublesome underclassmen."

~With Mirio~

"I thought maybe you knocked a few of them out on accident, but it seemed everyone recovered just fine so good job today." Hado congratulated him with a giggle.

"Thanks, but it was pretty close a few times, and they saw me naked. Not to mention, I scared that one girl…" Mirio thought of Izumi. "You know, the one that predicted my movements. I think her classmates called her… Midori?"

"Izumi Midoriya." Amajiki murmured and tensed up at the quizzical looks from his friends. "I overheard her name from Mr. Aizawa."

"Izumi Midoriya…" Mirio's eyes lit up a bit as he said the name. "No wonder they called her Midori-chan. That's so cute!"

"Oh ho, what's this I hear? Does our Mirio have a crush on his underclassmen?" Hado teased.

"Ha, ha, ha," Mirio laughed at first, but then thought about the look in Izumi's eyes as she fought, her sweet smile, and her surprised flushed face when they'd collided. "Hmmm actually it's possible."

"Kya! I knew it!" Hado slapped his back. "Way to go, Mirio!"

"We're rooting for you." Amajiki responded with a small shy smile.

"Thanks you guys… but in all honesty it probably won't work out. We're in different grades after all…" He looked up at the sky. "Who knows if we'll ever end up seeing each other again."
