When Scarlett got home with her girlfriend that night, they went upstairs to their room where Scarlett pulled out and opened a couple of duffel bags while Jasmine went through Scarlett's wardrobe to help her pack a few pairs of clothes, before Jasmine then looked back at her girlfriend after hearing her let out a sigh and asked, "What's wrong sweetheart? I thought you wanted to visit your sister in LA. If you've changed your mind you can always tell her."

Scarlett then shook her head as she replied, "No it's fine I do want to visit Mia in LA, It will do me good to get out of the city for a bit, my phone's dead anyway as I forgot to charge it so I can't text her even if I wanted to. I'll miss being away from you for a week." and Jasmine wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's neck in a hug and gave her a kiss on her cheek as she said,

"I'll miss you too babe, but I know how much you must miss seeing your sister so I'll manage without you being here for a week, just go and enjoy yourself in LA."

After Scarlett and her girlfriend Jasmine had finished packing the duffel bags on the bed, Scarlett took the bags downstairs and out to her car where she opened the boot and placed the bags inside before closing the boot again and heading back inside, Scarlett then wrapped her arms around Jasmine who was leaning against the front door frame in a loving embrace as she smiled and said, "I do miss my sister Mia a lot, but you have no idea how much I miss Roxanne, it's been a few years since I last saw her."

Then Jasmine had a jealous look on her face as she asked, "Who's Roxanne, boo? Is she like your ex you used to screw before me or something?" and Scarlett perked a brow as she replied with a slightly hurt tone in her voice,

"What? No, me and Roxanne were never together! She's just an old friend I've known ever since I was little, we kissed each other a couple times but it never lead to anything serious between us. It's not like what I have with you, princess."

But as Scarlett leaned in to give Jasmine a kiss on her lips Jasmine pushed her away and glared at her as she said with a slightly jealous tone in her voice, "Bullshit! You love her don't you! I bet you're even going to look at other girls in LA aren't you!" and Scarlett had a hurt look on her face as she replied,

"You're overreacting! There was nothing going on with me and Roxanne! I love you Jasmine, when have I ever looked at another girl the same way I look at you?"

Jasmine then scowled at Scarlett as she yelled, "Well maybe you should find someone else to love!" before slamming the door in Scarlett's face and Scarlett went to open the door so se could try and talk with her girlfriend, before she then realized it was locked when the door wouldn't budge so she yelled back,

"Fine! Maybe I will! How childish do you have to be to lock me out of the house?"

Scarlett smirked as she craftily took her girlfriend's phone before she yelled while waving the phone in the air, "Two can play at that game! I have your phone! You want it back then let me in!" and while she waited for a response from her girlfriend she unlocked the phone and went through her contacts as she thought to herself, "Let's see what you have been up to."

But as she scrolled down the list of contacts, one number stood out to her and she scowled at it as she saw the name DK next to it with some heart emojis, before she then acted like nothing happened as she heard the front door opening and Jasmine glared at her with her hand out as she said, "Give it back. But you're sleeping on the couch tonight." and Scarlett smirked as she replied,

"I will, but since we are playing the accusing game, how long have you had DK's number on your phone? I bet you even invited him to our house knowing my brother owed him money."

Then Jasmine tried to have a innocent look on her face as she said, "Just...give me back my phone. I didn't know DK was coming here, I swear!" and Scarlett threw Jasmine's phone at her as she scowled at her and growled,

"You know what? You can have the house to yourself tonight! I'm staying at a friends house instead!"

Before Scarlett then got inside her car and put her seatbelt on and turned the key in the ignition and the car roared to life, before she then pulled out her phone connected to the charger and scrolled down on her list of contacts before she pressed on Chloe's name as she typed,

"Scarlett: Hey Chloe, mind if I crash at yours tonight?"

"Chloe: Yeah sure, I'll just let my parents know, why, what's happened?"

"Scarlett: I'll explain when I get there. See u in 5."

"Chloe: Ok, see u soon."

Jasmine then had a hurt look on her face as she tried to beg her girlfriend to stay as she said, "Baby, please don't go, maybe we can work this out." but Scarlett scowled at her girlfriend out of the window of her car as she growled in reply,

"Don't. I'm going. Goodnight Jasmine."

Before Scarlett then hit her foot on the accelerator as she floored it down the the road towards her friend Chloe's house, leaving Jasmine behind on her knees and crying in their driveway.

Later…

When Scarlett parked her car outside her friend Chloe's house, Chloe came out to greet her as she gave her a hug as she smiled and said, "Hey." and Scarlett returned the hug as she smiled and replied,

"Hey, thanks for lettng me stay over on short notice, Chloe."

Chloe then nodded her head as she smiled and said, "Of course, anything for a friend. My parent's were totally cool with it, what happened?" and Scarlett smiled at Chloe as she let out a sigh before she replied,

"Not out here. Is there somewhere private we could go? I'm grateful your parents are cool with me staying over tonight."

Then Chloe smiled as she said to Scarlett, "Sure, we can talk in my room, let's get inside." before Scarlett then nodded her head as she followed Chloe inside her house and saw her parents as Chloe's mother smiled at Scarlett as she said to her,

"Hello Scarlett, it's so nice to meet you, make yourself at home."

And Scarlett then smiled at Chloe's mother as she replied, "Thank you Mrs. Knight, it's a pleasure to meet you too, thanks again for letting me stay here tonight." Chloe's mother smiled at Scarlett as she said,

"It's no problem Scarlett dear, you seem like a sweet girl so we are happy to have you, are you just staying for tonight? You can stay longer if you want?"

Scarlett then shook her head as she said to Chloe's mother, "I appreciate the offer Mrs. Knight, but I'm just staying for tonight, tomorrow I'm leaving to visit my sister Mia in LA." before she then followed Chloe upstairs to her room, where Chloe closed the door behind them before she turned to Scarlett and said to her,

"Ok, spill. What happened? and why so secretive?"

Then Scarlett took a deep breath before she looked at Chloe and said, "Me and Jasmine...had a fight." and Chloe had a shocked look on her face as she replied,

"Oh my god! Are you ok? she didn't hurt you did she? If she's hurt you I'll kick her ass!"

Scarlett then let out a small giggle as she shook her head before she took another deep breath as she said, "Relax Chloe, she didn't hurt me. Well, not physically anyway." then Scarlett let out a small sigh as she frowned and added, "I...I think Jasmine maybe seeing someone behind my back…" and Chloe walked over to Scarlett and gave her a comforting hug as she replied,

"You think so? Who with? Just so you know I'm not cool with my girl and lead singer of the Stray hearts being messed with like that."

And Scarlett then let out another sigh, she tried to fight back the tears threatening to fall down her face as she said, "Well, not too long ago I was approached by the mafia and someone called DK, and...I have to race for him so that I can earn enough money to pay off my brother Dom's debt he owed them which I now owe them since my brother isn't in the country at the moment. When she locked me out of the house I took her phone without her realizing and I saw she had DK's number on her phone with heart emojis next to it. What's worse is that she freaked out when I told her I missed my friend Roxanne that I haven't see in years and she accused me of sleeping with her. You're a great friend and band mate Chole."

Chloe then took a moment to think of something to say before she looked back at Scarlett as she replied, "You should be careful if you are dealing with the mafia Scarlett, but...I trust you that you know what you are doing. And if Jasmine is seeing other people behind your back then...maybe that's a sign that you two weren't meant to be. When do you have to race?"

Scarlett then had her head in her hands as she let out a sigh before she looked at her friend Chloe as she said, "I have to race for DK tomorrow night before I leave for LA to visit my sister Mia, and I have to give the mafia half of what I win if I win the race. I have to get two hundred thousand dollars to fully pay off mine and my brother's debt, if I go into business for myself then Jasmine could get hurt. and...after what Jasmine pulled on me tonight, part of me doesn't care what happens to her but...a small part of me wants her to be safe. I already have my stuff for LA packed in my car." before Scarlett then realized she forgot to pack some overnight clothes so she looked at Chloe as she added, "Shit! I forgot to pack some overnight clothes, you mind if I borrow some of your clothes for tonight? I'm happy with sleeping on the floor."

Chloe then smiled at Scarlett as she replied, "Of course Scarlett, just go through my stuff and pick what you like." before she then held a finger in the air as she confidently added, "But you are NOT and I repeat NOT sleeping on the floor! You can share my bed with me. You maybe an animal on the mic but that doesn't mean I am going to make you sleep on the floor like one."

So Scarlett looked through the drawers of Chloe's clothes and picked out a black top with some blue shorts, before she blushed a little at Chloe as she said, "Are you really ok with me sharing your bed with you?" and Chloe let out a small giggle as she smiled at Scarlett as she replied,

"Relax, it's not like we are hooking up with each other or anything. We're just friends, as well as band mates. I know that if we really were into each other then one of us would have made a move already. You should get some sleep before you leave for work and then visit your sister after your street race."

The next day…

Scarlett woke up the next morning to her phone buzzing, so she picked it up from the bedside table and saw that she had a couple of texts, one from her girlfriend, and one from her work colleague Johnathan, she opened up Johnathan's text as it read,

"Johnathan: Yo red, you coming in today? I could use some help at the bar."

And Scarlett let out a sigh as she typed out a reply to Johnathan as she typed out, "Scarlett: I...I'm not coming in today Johnny, just tell Neil I didn't feel well or something. Admit it, you just miss seeing my pretty face, don't you?" her phone vibrated with a reply from Johnathan as it read,

"Johnathan: Ok, guilty as charged, I do enjoy seeing you, the way you handle patrons who are getting too rowdy is badass. I'll tell Neil you didn't feel well and cover for you. You wanna talk about it?"

Scarlett then let out a small giggle as she typed out a response as she put, "I knew you couldn't resist me, I...had a fight with my girlfriend last night and I stayed at a friends house, I wanna be alone at the moment Johnny." before her phone then vibrated with another reply from Johnathan as it read,

"Johnathan: So are you and Jasmine not together anymore? and who's house did you sleep at last night? You know I'm here if you need someone to talk to, red."

And Scarlett shook her head a little as she typed out another reply slightly annoyed as she typed, "What part of "I wanna be alone at the moment" do you not get Johnny? It's...complicated, I don't know if I still want to be with Jasmine after what happened. Just get to work and I'll talk more later if I feel like it."

Before Scarlett then heard Chloe's mother calling up the stairs as she called, "Chloe darling, you're gonna be late to college." and a small part of Scarlett's body still had a weird feeling knowing she slept with her friend and band mate, so she stood up and got dressed before she took a piece of paper and a pen and wrote a note for her friend, before leaving the note on her bedside table and making her way downstairs.

When she got downstairs, Chloe's mother smiled at Scarlett as she said, "Good morning Scarlett dear, did you sleep well last night? I can make you some breakfast if you want?" and Scarlett smiled back at Chloe's mother as she shook her head and politely replied,

"No thank you Mrs. Knight, I'll just get something from a cafe on my way to work. Thank you again for having me."

After Scarlett got in her car, she drove to a local cafe not far from where she worked and she walked up to the counter as the waitress smiled at her and said, "Welcome to Joe's coffee shop, what can I get ya?" and Scarlett smiled back at the waitress as she replied,

"I'll have a Latte please. double shot."

The waitress then smiled and nodded at Scarlett as she said, "Got it, one double shot Latte comin' right up." while Scarlett waited for her coffee, she sat down at a nearby empty table and looked out the window at busy cars passing by and let out a sigh, before the waitress then brought her coffee over to her and set it down on the table as she said, "Here you go miss, one double shot Latte. Can I get ya anything else today?" and Scarlett smiled at the waitress as she replied,

"Yeah, I...I'll have a cheeseburger please."

And the Waitress smiled and nodded her head as she said, "Certainly, coming right up." before she then skipped away to tell the chef about her order, meanwhile Scarlett stared at her coffee in her hands as the steam blew in her face, before a blonde woman sat down at the table in the opposite to her before the woman smiled at Scarlett as she said,

"Y'know your coffee will get cold if you don't drink it soon."

Scarlett then briefly looked up at the woman and let out a sigh as she replied, "Thanks for the tip. I better drink it before it gets cold." and the woman smiled at Scarlett as she said,

"No problem, I'm lucy. Are you the lead singer of the Stray hearts band Scarlett Toretto?"

Then Scarlett perked a brow at Lucy as she said, "Maybe. Why? Are you a fan or something?" and Lucy blushed a little as she replied,

"OMG! I am freaking out right now, I can't believe I am talking to THE Scarlett Toretto! Lead singer for the Stray hearts, I am such a huge fan of yours!"

And Scarlett let out a sigh, she wasn't in the mood to have fan girls drooling over her, but despite her better judgement Scarlett looked at Lucy and shrugged her shoulders a little as she said, "It's no big deal really, so...you want me to sign an autograph or something?" and Lucy blushed again as she nodded her head as she replied,

"Totally! that would make my friends super jealous! could you...sign my maths book?" before she then shyly added, "You are like super hot! Are single?"

Scarlett then smiled at Lucy a little, was this chick seriously hitting on her? she didn't really care, so she took out a pen from her bag as she said, "Sure, want me to write anything specific? and as for your second question, I might be." even Scarlett could admit this chick she was talking to looked cute, before Lucy shook her head as she replied,

"No, you don't have to write anything specific if you don't want to." before Lucy then looked a little nervous as she added, "So umm, do you like want to stay at a hotel with me tonight? If you have a boyfriend or something then that's cool. Just...thought I would ask."

Without even thinking clearly Scarlett looked at Lucy and smiled as she said, "I'd love to, Lucy was it? I can't stay for long though as I am going to visit a family member in LA." before she then leaned over the table and gave Lucy a little peck on her cheek, causing the woman to turn bright red in the face. Then Scarlett took the woman's math book as she wrote on the front of it, 'To my adoring fan. signed Scarlett T." and Lucy struggled to get her words out as she stammered,

"C-cool, s-see you tonight I guess. T-thanks for the autograph."

Scarlett smirked to herself as she finished her meal and coffee and left some money on the table for the check as she thought to herself, "She seemed like a nice girl, maybe I can have fun for one night at least." before she then left the cafe to get ready for the street race.

A few hours later…

Scarlett showed up at the starting line where the race was taking place, Leon stood in between Scarlett's car and Jesse's car as he said, "Ok dogs, you know the drill, whoever makes it to the finish line first wins one thousand dollars." and Jesse rolls down the window of his car as he looked at Scarlett and smiled at her as he said,

"Don't be too embarrassed when I beat your cute ass on the road today, ok sweetheart?"

And Scarlett rolled down the window of her car as she smirked at Jesse as she replied, "Oh yeah? Let's see if you're still talking a big game after I leave you in the dust today, and why don't we sweeten the deal, the winner gets double the prize money?" and Leon smiled as he nodded his head as he said,

"I like the way you think dog, alright whoever crosses the finish line first gets two thousand dollars, on your marks...get set...GO!"

Both Scarlett and Jesse raced past Leon as they sped down the road, Jesse was in front slightly as the two quickly approached the first corner and Scarlett quickly put on her handbrake and turned the wheel of her Mitsubishi lancer as she drifted around the corner before slamming her foot on the accelerator as she straightened out again, she could see in her rearview mirror that Jesse was behind her.

Jesse was sweating a little in his car as he thought to himself, "Alright, this girl's got some moves, but I won't let her stay in front for long!" before he put his foot on the accelerator as he tried to catch up with Scarlett as they were fastly approaching the second turn, and Jesse picked up a little speed as he drifted around the corner, nudging Scarlett's car slightly and smirking to himself as he came out of the corner in front.

As they were approaching the final straight, Scarlett refused to back down so she slammed her foot on the accelerator as she floored it down the road, gradually picking up more and more speed as she passed Jesse, and Jesse was having a hard time trying to keep up with Scarlett as he could see in the mirror that she was getting further and further away from him.

Scarlett then crossed the finish line and parked her car as Leon smiled and said, "Your winner, Scarlett, as promised the reward of two thousand dollars is yours." as one of the other racers came over to Scarlett with case that contained the prize money, and Jesse parked his car beside Scarlett's and got out as he said to her,

"Nice moves out there today, but next time you'll be the one who's left in the dust."

And Scarlett smirked at Jesse as she said to him, "What's the matter? can't handle being beaten by a girl? You were talking a big game earlier." before she then placed the case on the boot of her car as she opened it up and counted the money to make sure it was all there, before she then took half of it that she owed DK and walked over to him.

DK had a smile on his face as he said to Scarlett, "Nice moves out there, there maybe hope for you yet on the street racing scene." and Scarlett scowled at DK as she thrusted the money she owed at him as she growled in response,

"Here's your half that we agreed on! When's the next race? the sooner I get your money, the sooner you can leave me alone!" before she then began walking back to her car.

Then DK smiled at Scarlett and said to her while she was walking away from him, "Whoa, fiesty. the next race is in two weeks in LA. there's no need to rush this, besides I can tell a small part of you enjoys racing for me." and Scarlett briefly stopped in her tracks as she scowled back at DK and growled,

"Fuck you! the only reason I am doing this in the first place is so that I can clear the debt my brother owed you!" before she then continued to her car as DK smirked to himself.

That night…

Lucy was sitting in her hotel room waiting for Scarlett and was watching some TV when she heard a knock on the door, she went to open it and smiled slightly as se saw Scarlett standing in the doorway with a slightly less happy look on her face as she said, "Hey." and Scarlett smiled slightly as she brushed some of her red hair behind her ears as she replied,

"Hey Lucy, sorry I'm late. Traffic was hell."

And Lucy blushes at Scarlett a little as she said, "It's fine, I don't mind waiting for such a hot mess like yourself. Come on in." and Scarlett blushes a little at Lucy as she walks into the hotel room and replied,

"Are...are you flirting with me? That's sweet."

Then Lucy walked a little closer to Scarlett as she smiled and said, "I might be, you look so hot when you are blushing. Want me to stop?" and Scarlett blushed a little deeper as she smiled and shook her head as she replied,

"No, please continue. Keep this up and you might just steal a kiss from me. Wanna just cuddle up and watch a movie?"

This time it was Lucy's turn to blush deeper as she smiled and said, "Wow! OMG, I would never thought of you as the romantic type Scarlett. A movie night with you sounds so adorable and I would love to get to know you some more and it would make my friends super Jealous of me." before she then looked a little worried as she added, "But...I thought you said you couldn't stay long as you were leaving to visit a family member in LA."

If Scarlett was being honest with herself, she was exhausted from the street race she had, and Lucy was a sweet girl, she'd be kidding herself if she wasn't a little interested in her. so Scarlett walked closer to Lucy so that they were standing inches apart from each other, before she smiled as she said,

"I can always leave early in the morning, and...there's room for one more in my car, if you want to come with me." before Scarlett then slowly brushed some of Lucy's hair from her face and tucked it behind her ear as she leaned in and gave her a kiss on her lips, and Lucy then slowly began kissing Scarlett back before she then suddenly broke the kiss as she said with a shocked look on her face,

"OMG, I'm so sorry Scarlett, I don't want you to get in trouble with your boyfriend." before she then smiled a little as she added, "But...about what you said earlier, I would love to come to LA with you."

Scarlett then smiled at Lucy and perked a brow as she replied, "What boyfriend? I have a girlfriend but honestly...screw her. She doesn't treat me the same way you do Lucy. I want to get to know you more because...I...I like you." and Lucy's cheeks were almost as red as Scarlett's hair as she smiled and said,

"Wow...your girlfriend must have been a real bitch for you to just leave her like that. and...I want to get to know you more as well, because the truth is...I like you too Scarlett. How about we relax together and watch a movie together."

And Scarlett smiled at Lucy as she nodded her head and replied, "You don't even know the half of it, but...relaxing and watching a movie with you sounds perfect." before the two then laid next to each other on the bed and spent the rest of the night in each other's arms and watching a movie until they fell asleep together.
