"You do realize the one major rule of time traveling is to not mess with the timeline?" 12th said angrily, "You always find a way to break the rules, don't you. Why would you do it to save one person?" This can't happen. Not here. Not ever. "She's safe and outta harms way." "There are consequences to this! Clara wouldn't have been your companion." "It was worth the risk." "Are you protecting her from what happened or yourself?" 12th said. "How do you know that?" 11th said. 12th was utterly surprise. This doctor was being utterly blinded by who he was. He won't accept that he was the doctor. "You know who I am. You saw the sonic," 12th replied. "I'm number 13. I'm the final regeneration. There can't be more than 13," 11th said.

"Impossible can exist like Clara for example," 12th said trying to talk sense into him. "Impossible how?" Oswin jumped in. "Stay out of this," 11th said. "Died twice." And you're one of them. He thought. "What do you mean died twice?" She replied. "That's why she's the impossible girl," 11th said. They talked for awhile before the 11th finally broke.

"Do you know what happened last year?" 11th said. None responded. "2012. The year when...Amy and Rory died. I didn't want the same thing to happen to her," He continued. He headed back towards his TARDIS. The 12th Doctor didn't know what to say. He knew how hard it was to watch them go. Everyone fell silent for a few minutes. Clara decided to go talk to him.

The rest of them felt the tension. The 12th Doctor broke the awkward silence. "So...how did you meet the Doctor?" He said. She didn't know how to answer seeing as she doesn't know. "We just met randomly. We become close friends a few days later. It remained like that ever since," She said. "Sure," He said, not believing this. She noticed his tone. "I'm telling the truth if you don't believe me," She said. He didn't believe her. Not a bit. "Ok. You seem to know a bit about the Dalek Asylum." "I learned about it from the Doctor. He sometimes talks about it. I don't know much. Only what I said earlier," She replied. He knew she was lying. She's been there. Why isn't she saying that?

Ashildr noticed his behavior. It was definitely odd. The woman definitely was a mystery to her. She has the same voice as Clara. Either she was an alien or was just a coincidence. Alien was the most realistic possibility.

The Doctor decided to do something that would probably arouse suspicion to both of them. "You're an echo. You're not supposed to be here," He said. "I don't know what you're talking about," She replied. "You're a version of Clara. That's why you two sound the same. You're supposed to be dead. You saved me by sacrificing your life. Remember?" He said. He's a lunatic. She thought. "I don't know what you're talking about. You're lying. Even if it is true, I wouldn't believe you," She said. He was surprised by her answer. Still wasn't revealing anything about the asylum. She's a good liar but something was telling him that she was telling the truth. But it was impossible. Unless...no, it couldn't be. He wouldn't.

Ashildr decided to step in. "Leave her alone, Doctor," She said. "What? I'm just..." He began. "Are you sure about that" Ashildr said in a final sorta way. "No," He said noticing her tone. "Sorry," He said to her.

Clara came back a minute later. "Tell her I want to talk. She won't listen to me directly," He said to Ashildr. He moved away from the others. "Where's the..." Oswin said. She pointed at the TARDIS. She headed towards it. She was curious about the Doctor. Something about what the old man said was intriguing.

She went inside the TARDIS and closed the doors behind her. The Doctor glanced at her then looked away. "Weird start isn't it?" She said. "Yes, it has," He spoke. "Does the old man speak any truth?" She said. "No. Don't worry about him," He said, in a serious tone, "How do you know about the Asylum?" "Overheard a conversation. Why do you only talk about with Madelyn and Bella?" She replied. "It doesn't concern you. You aren't supposed to know," He said.

"But they are?" "Why are you interested in this?" This was odd behavior. Something was wrong. "You seem to know a lot about the Dalek Asylum. Have you been there yourself?" Oswin asked him. "I haven't. I heard about it from them," He lied. "The Daleks?" She said. "Don't say that name," He said. Because you are a Dalek. Why does he have to remember that? He wished he could forget. All of it. He never really minded hearing the word 'Dalek' at least that's what she could remember. So, his response was strange. Why was he acting weird today?

"You seem distracted. Something bothering you?" She stated. That seemed to get him awake. "I'm not distracted. The old man is crazy. Making up lies and stuff. Don't listen to him," The Doctor explained. She wasn't so sure of his answer. He doesn't usually lie to her. But this seemed to be different. What was he hiding? What was he so scared of?

"Why do me and Clara sound the same?" She asked. He looked at her. "I don't know. I'm still trying to figure that out. You're an echo of her but you're real to me and that'll never change," He said finishing the last sentence in his head.

He headed out of the TARDIS. She followed him. "Why don't I remember anything before I met you?" She said, getting the question out. His expression was grave. No time. No time to answer. He didn't want to. "How do you..." "Clara." "Of course she did." "Don't get mad at her. She was only curious," She said. "She says she agrees with me. I would never do that," He responded. Agrees with what? "Its not exactly nice to keep this from someone." "I know that. It'll make sense later." "This isn't something that can wait. It's suspicious," She said. "I know. I'll explain later," He said. He wouldn't tell her. He just wanted to keep her out of this.

They heard Clara talking to the 12th Doctor. "You shouldn't be remembering me but you do. Why?" Clara said. "Do you really think it would work on me? I could never forget you," 12th replied. "It was worth a try," Clara said. The 11th looked at them. I'm sorry about this. He felt bad for them. Why did she erase his memory of her? Who is this man?

Clara's choice to erase the Doctor's memory of her was the hardest thing she ever had to do. She regrets it everyday. All the time. It was for the best. Seeing him talking to her was very nice but she was worried about him trying to find her after this. She was doing fine with Ashildr. She didn't need the Doctor to look over her shoulder.

The 12th Doctor saw the 11th Doctor and Oswin. "He's not all nice and stuff," He said to her. "I know about the time war, idiot," She replied. "Did she just call me an idiot?" He said to himself. "Yes, she did. You deserved that," Clara said in response. Yes, he did. The old man didn't have to constantly tell him that saving her was wrong. He saved her and it was worth it. No one had to tell him otherwise.

"We're leaving. Nice to see you, Clara. I'm not a fan of the old man," He said. "I prefer 'The grumpy old man'," Clara replied. "I'm not grumpy," 12th stated. "Yes, you are." "I'm not sure you get a vote," 12th said. Clara looked at him. "I hope we meet again, my impossible girl," 12th added. He headed towards his own TARDIS. It dematerialized. The 11th doctor couldn't believe it. He's not the Doctor. He's just a human. "Who is he?" 11th asked. "Spoilers," Clara responded. The 11th Doctor smiled. The words of River Song.

He headed back towards his own TARDIS. "I'll catch up. I want to talk with her," Oswin said. "I'll be in the TARDIS," He said. Ashildr headed inside her and Clara's stolen TARDIS, leaving Clara and Oswin alone.

"It was nice meeting you, Clara," She said. "Same thing goes for you. I hope things go well with him. He won't explain anything about the whole thing. Remind him, will you?" Clara said. "I'll make sure of that," She said, smiling. "I believe you have somewhere to be. I hope we meet again under normal circumstances." "That would be nice," Oswin replied. "I'm just as clueless as you are, about this, by the way," She said. Clara watched her leave and enter the TARDIS. It dematerialized. Clara waited a few minutes before heading inside her own. They whisked away to another amazing place. Another day, another time.
