The next morning rose and it was the time for the two souls to come out of their dreamland and perform their duty. Being very dutiful cops they both got ready on time with some masti and nok jhok and left for the bureau.

They reached bureau Abhijeet moved ahead while Daya went to park his deary qualis. On entering inside all wished him good morning to which he replied with smile.

All were having little chit chat while completing their pending work as till now no case was reported

After sometime Acp sir arrived and all wished him who in return nodded and went inside his cabin. There was a stack of files placed on his table. He picked one of them and became shocked. Then he picked up 2nd then 3rd and after checking all of them he came out of his cabin with worried expressions.

On seeing him duo shared a confused glance and on getting a positive nod from his pal Abhijeet said:

Abhijeet: Kya hua sir aap kuch pareshan lag rahe hain

Acp( straight face) : Yeh files kisne complete ki hain??

Abhijeet: Sir Daya ne.

Acp sir (fake crying): Hey bhagwan yeh kya ho raha hai lagta hai yeh log mere bache kuche baal bhi udaa denge

Moving towards highly confused Daya Acp sir checked his forehead and asked worriedly tumhari tabiyat kharab thi toh ghar pe aaram kar lete na aane ki kya zaroorat thi.

All were sharing confused glances as they were not getting head and tail of the matter.

Daya(confused): Nahi sir meri tabiyat thik hai mujhe kya hua hai??

Acp(worried): Agar tum thik ho toh tumne itna saara file work ek saath kaise kar liya yeh impossible hai

Acp sir to Freddie

Acp(teasingly): Freddie zara dekho toh aaj suraj kahan se nikla hai

Freddie who was standing beside Daya asked him this question

Daya was getting well the teasing tone of his father so replied Paschim se and moved from there

Freddie conveyed the same to Acp sir as

Sir paschim se

Acp: Paschim se, toh isliye aaj yeh ajooba hua hai phir toh main bhagwaan se dua karunga roz suraj paschim se hi nikle

On listening this Daya's mouth left half open out of shock

Acp : muh band karo Daya nahi toh muh mein makhi chali jayegi aur phir tum naye kartab dikhaoge and sighed

Daya instantly closed his mouth

Seeing his reaction all who were trying to suppress their laughter burst into laughter

Before the leg pulling session could continue further phone rang up and a case was reported and our officers came in formal attire. During their investigation Freddie, Daya, Abhijeet ( ahaan how can someone write fl scene without Abhijeet sir hehe;) ) went to forensic lab

Forensic Lab

Three of them entered the forensic Lab where Salunkhe sir was investigating the body and Tarika was doing some chemical analysis.

Daya: Haan Salunke saab kya pata chala

Salunkhe: Pata yeh chala hai ki aaj kal koi apni writing skills se tufaan laa raha hai kyu bhai Daya aisa bhi kya ho gaya ki tumne file work karna shuru kar diya

Daya was like not again and gave an annoyed look to Abhijeet like this is all because of you who has now slipped towards Tarika

Abhijeet: Hello Tarika ji

Tarika: Hii Abhijeet

Abhijeet: Toh kya pata chala aapko??

Tarika: Filhaal toh tests kar rahi hu thodi der mein pata chal jayega

Abhijeet: Ok ok!! Waise kaise kar leti hai aap matlab ek chote se chemical se itne bade bade suraag nikaal leti hain. Mujhe bhi sikhna hai

Daya who had listened this comment said: Kyu Abhijeet ab Senior Inspector ke baad forensic expert banna hai kya

To Tarika in Whisper: Hello bhabhi

On this Tarika blushed and Abhijeet replied

Abhijeet (shyly): Koi sikhane wala ho toh zaroor ban jaunga.

A naughty idea popped in Daya's mind and he said Salunke saab Abhijeet ko forensic expert banna hai koi acha professor btaiye na and gave Abhijeet a smirk

Salunkhe: Kyu bhai Abhijeet Senior Inspector ki post kuch pasand nahi hai kya ya salary kum padh rahi hai. Waise hum bhi hai line mein

Abhijeet murmured: kyu hai

Salunkhe: kya...kuch kaha ??

Abhijeet: Nahi sir kuch nahi

Salunkhe: Haan toh main keh raha tha ki hum bhi aate hai yahan humse bhi baat kiya karo

Abhijeet again murmured: aap jaate hi Kahn hai

then loudly: Haan sir bilkul karunga par abhi filhaal case ke bare mein btaiye

After gathering important information about case they left and by the afternoon they were able to catch the criminal.

In the evening all were completing their work regarding recent case when Acp sir came out of his cabin and said to Daya

Acp: Daya tum Forensic Lab jao Salunkhe ko kisi file pe tumhare sign chahiye hai aur aate waqt recent case ki file lana

Daya: Jee sir and he moved out

On reaching forensic Lab Daya saw that Salunkhe sir was not there so he asked Tarika

Daya: Hii Tarika

Tarika: hello Daya

Daya: Woh Salunkhe saab keh rahe the unhe kisi file pe mere sign chahiye the

Tarika: Oh haan main abhi layi

Daya: Ok

Within five minutes Tarika came with a file and handover it to Daya who sat on the chair and began to read the file

They both were engrossed in their work when guard came and handed over a box to Tarika with a note of confidential on it.

Tarika confusingly took the box and placed it on the table which gathered Daya's attention who asked

Daya (still busy in file): Yeh kya hai Tarika

Tarika: Pata nahi koi bahar guard ko de gaya hai baad mein khol ke dekhti hu

Daya just hummed still concentrating on his file

Tarika continued his previous work of analysis when suddenly

Boom...
