2 weeks later…
It had been two weeks since Luffy and Yamato had started their journey in the East Blue. And they have completely taken over the powers that once ran the weakest of the four blues. Five people sat around a barrel, all of which had their own story to tell.
"Here's an idea, let's hear everyone's goal prior to going to the grandline once more." A woman spoke, one of the newest female additions to the group. Everyone nodded in agreement with the group looking at Yamato to start the process.
"Oh me? Well let's see...I wish to end my father's tyrannical rule in Wano." Yamato then looked at the next person who also had a fascinating goal.
"I wish to rid myself of my family legacy." Commented a man.
"So do I." Added another, much taller man. Both of which were new additions to the crew.
"I am going to be the King of Pirates." Said Luffy, knowing full well what he wanted and how he was going to achieve it. His crew was filled with powerhouses, and that's how it should be.
"See, Captain got the idea. I need more ambitions. I'll start then following after our Captain. Hmm let me see. I am going to terminate any and all research on the Lineage Factor." Said the woman then she looked towards Yamato.
"I see hmm, then I am going to free the world of segregation...starting by opening the borders of Wano!" That was pretty big, and in order to achieve it she would have to see through that Luffy becomes King. She then looked to the man beside her, squeezing his hands to encourage him to say what he really wanted to say.
"I am going to end the World Government." Bang there it is, a big goal that seemed unachievable but with the group they had, nothing is impossible.
"Then I am going to ensure that there is a world where my siblings can live without the pressure of making decisions based on their parent's whim." Very specific but it made for an impactful goal regardless.

The previous day…
Five people sat around the kitchen table, with the newest female chef of the crew handing out food for everybody. Story time was a great bonding experience and they had a few more hours before arriving at the reverse mountain.
~ALVIDA~
"So get this, this freakin Alvida lady right thought she was a hot shot, threatening us as we landed aboard her ship." Yamato was getting animated, relaying the story of their early adventures prior to gathering the crew. "Luffy was going to straight up murder this lady right, but I ended up destroying her famed 'iron mace' and sent her flying to god knows where."
This caused a round of laughter with the group.
"What happened after that?" One of the new recruits, the shorter of the two, asked, placing an arm over Yamato.
"The rest of the crew jumped ship, except for a kid named Coby. The kid had heart, but he was a weak little shit. We left him with Alvida's ship and treasure." Luffy added to the story. It was then that they moved on to the next part of their adventure. "We then made it to Shell Town, where an idiot marine captain led the entire operation." The man beside Yamato then got up for a moment.
~CAPTAIN MORGAN~
"I am going to beat everyone to the punch, I got lost and found myself in this town!" Then he sat back down, casually placing his arms around Yamato. Though Yamato wanted to poke fun of the man beside her.
"Yeah, Ace here had this grandeur speech about seeing us in the New World, but this dumbass got lost and was just an island away from us." Another round of laughter from the crew with Ace blushing from embarrassment.
"So we arrived at Shell Town, the entire Marine Base was on fire. And this freakin guy just waves and says..." Luffy then gave the stage to Ace to reenact his greetings.
"Hi, I'm not particularly good with directions, can I join you guys for a bit. I swear I'll get off once I get my footing in the Grand Line" Ace said standing up just to add to the story. Another round of laughter from the crew.."I met a pretty interesting guy there though, used three swords. But he was gone before I could introduce him to the captain. I did manage to see the funny guy again but that is a story for later."
~BUGGY~
"So then we head to the next island, fairly close to Shell Town. It was known as Orange Town. There was a clown pirate there. Though he was a big shot for being part of Roger's crew back in the days."
"That hat...it belonged to someone I despise!" Buggy the Clown unleashed his bara bara carnival, a move that separates his entire body into countless pieces, with sharp knives where they could be held.
"I grabbed him by the face and threw him as far as I could." Yamato then demonstrated how she grabbed the head of the pirate clown and threw him as hard as she could. "Who's to say where he ended up?"
"They had a pretty decent party, me and Captain ate all their food as Yamato destroyed them single handedly." Ace said, patting his stomach.
"Say what you want about the weakling, but his crew was loyal, going after the direction of their Captain. It was there we found a little cat burglar, taking the treasure and a map from the clown. We let her be as she wasn't a big issue." Luffy then handed the story over to Yamato once more.
~KURO~
"So then we headed to an interesting island, where we found a familiar long nose man hanging out at a distance."
"It was Yasopp of the Red Haired Pirates." Added Ace.
"So we asked him 'what are you doing?' and he responded.
"He says to look at his son for the last time before heading to the Grandline. Then he just left, as he says his son was no longer there. Then we entered Syrup Village and learned from a girl named Kaya that the boy named Usopp left the island to seek his father, in order to let him know that his mother was dead. After that, nobody has seen him since." Yamato finished, letting the Captain finish the story.
"The butler was interesting, as he was a former pirate posing as a butler in order to steal Kaya's richest. We intervened of course and so Kaya gave us our current ship. The Going Merry." Luffy patted the wooden table before him, everything aboard the ship was handcrafted, and the caretaker was even kind enough to draw their pirate flag, A skull with crossbones behind it, and the signature strawhat over the skull's head. The Going Merry was a truly fine addition to the crew.
As for Kuro of the Black Cat Pirates, he turned to the sea, realizing that he could not settle for being a housekeeper and tricking a sickly rich kid into giving him her money. He would have to earn it himself. And so he headed out into the sea where he eventually found himself in the umbrella of a world power. As in the New World, you are either with the Yonkos or die trying to oppose them.
~DON KRIEG~
"Let me take over this one." The woman who cooked their meal placed her right leg over her left and leaned back on her chair. She then took a deep sigh before continuing on her story. "So it started with my father's obsession with finding my brother for he wanted to continue his research on him, he wanted to learn why he was different from the rest of the siblings..." She stopped for a moment, then continued her story. "He made an alliance in the North Blue, one that will be cemented by giving the new allies the formula to superhuman enhancement. Father wanted a safeway so he wanted to go after Sanji and the antibodies that he had developed, this way if he is ever betrayed, they could take back their gift. And so he hunted him to run endless torturous tests on him until his death...I couldn't let that happen.."
A week ago…
"Take your pick. We have the Germa's to our left, Don Krieg to our front, and Dracule Mihawk to our right." Yamato looked between Luffy and Ace. The floating restaurant of the Baratie has become a warzone, with the ship sitting in between the formidable powers.
Zeff, the owner of Baratie, had been poisoned by Don Krieg and was decommissioned for battle. Sanji, the second head chef of the floating restaurant had been hunted by his family in the East.
The Germa 66 were a warmongering country, their floating fortress traversing the East blue from the North blue in order to take back Sanji.
Then there was Don Krieg, a wash out of the Grand Line, after the log book of Zeff.
Finally, there was Hawkeye, Dracule Mihawk, the man responsible for eliminating all but one ship of Krieg's armada. He followed Don Krieg from the Grand Line out of boredom. What a character.
"I'll take the swordsman." With a massive grin, Luffy sprung into battle, cutting through the fodder members of the Krieg pirate to reach the man with the black sword.
"Okay then, Ace?" He was quick to launch himself to the sky with fire under his boots.
"Sorry Yamato, but Krieg seems boring." He saluted her and went after the Germa's a more interesting matchup since it was four against one. Plus the fancy blonde haired chef was going to be with him, what could go wrong?
"Fine then." So Yamato was left with Krieg. Yamato was met with a giant man, with pearl armor covering his entire body. She had no time to waste with such a weakling, smashing her kanabo through the shell of the poor man and launching him to the deep blue sea.
Then a formidable foe came to intercept her, Gin was his name, but he was only formidable for maybe 3 seconds, before Yamato kneed him to the face and threw him to the side like he was nothing.
Lastly it was Krieg, the supposed king of the East. He was no King if he managed to wash out in the first part of the Grand Line.
So Yamato charged at him, ignoring the sharp objects, missiles, and even poison gas.
"What the hell are you?!" Exclaimed Krieg in agony.
"Your worst nightmare." And with her kanabo, she unleashed a powerful strike, one that mirrored her own father's power. Krieg's famed golden armor shattered easily by the impact, his internal organ exploding. Weak, truly weak.

Luffy had approached Mihawk, standing in the front of his coffin ship. He had a smile on his face for a formidable opponent appearing in such a weak sea.
"I don't know you, but I know you are strong." Luffy then retrieved his Shodai Kitesu, showing its black color to the strongest swordsman in the world.
"Impressive, for you have blackened your blade." Mihawk then stood from his chair, retrieving the massive black blade from his back. "Consider this an honor stranger, for I never draw Yoru unless my opponent is worthy."
"I'm glad to receive such an honor then!" Then wind was the only thing between the duo, their footing was only the coffin ship of Mihawk. Yet that did not deter them from having a spar, with Luffy holding his own against the strongest swordsman. A vertical slash from Yoru was met with a horizontal parry by Shodai Kitetsu. Their duel could go on for days, and yet neither man pulled any punches. For Luffy to stand toe to toe with the world's strongest, it could only mean one thing…
"Stop holding back Hawkeye..." Luffy warned.
"You possess a power that I can't quite understand, yet you warn me to reveal all of my power." Mihawk countered, unleashing a pressurized wave of air that barely grazed Luffy.
"I do not reveal this cursed power because I swore off of it." Luffy then tried to pursue Mihawk farther, but the Swordsman unleashed a quick furry of strike, forcing Luffy off his coffin ship.
"Then I must cut our duel short from here. You have satiated my boredom Mugiwara. I shall return to the Grand Line once more." Luffy had no choice but to reveal his wings, or else he would fall in the ocean and sink like an anchor.
"Hawkeye, why don't you join me. I am gathering a strong crew that will overtake the world from its oppressor." Luffy was flying above the swordsman, he pointed his blade at Mihawk as to command an answer.
"No thanks, I don't do well with others." With that Mihawk left, guiding his coffin ship away from the battle of the Baratie.
Luffy then took a moment to realize what Mihawk had called him. "Mugiwara?! What the fuck?!" It was because of the strawhat, the one that Shanks had forced him to wear. Now he was gonna be known by the moniker, and he can't do anything about it.
…
Ace had been doing well against the Germa's, too bad the poor lad Sanji was getting beaten to a pulp. Regardless it was a four on two situation.
"Return the Germa Kingdom Sanji, as your blood is precious to our cause, and we will spare this disgusting ship that you hold so dear." Vinsmoke Judge, the father of the Vinsmoke family, commanded.
"Fuck you Judge..." Sanji had no father, at least that's what Judge told him prior to leaving the family. Once more his defiance earned him a kick to the gut by Yonji. Sanji spat out blood at the impact.
Ace tried his hardest to get to the poor lad, but two of the Vinsmoke children were holding him back. As soon as he would burn one, the other would be there to intercept him. They were durably persistent and very annoying.
Meanwhile the female member of the family was quick to aid her brother. "Father, enough of this, let's just go. No one else shall be harmed." But the poor daughter received a back hand from her father, her cheeks reddening from impact.
"Reiju you insolent brat! I want to hear him beg. Beg for it Sanji. Beg me to end this." Sanji immediately threw himself over his sister, with the bottom of Judge's shoe hitting him without stopping.
The beating continued, with Ace now having to deal with three of the Vinsmoke bastards rather than two. He unleashed a 'Hiken' melting the face of the green haired bastard. But that didn't seem to stop him as he continued to fight. Meanwhile the blue haired and red haired bastard flew to the sky, preparing a double team attack. Ace was distracted for just enough time that green haired Vinsmoke connected with his stomach, causing him to double over in pain. He expected a boot on the back of his neck but it never came.
The green haired bastard was hit straight to the face with a kanabo, while the two Vinsmokes in the sky were forced to headbut each other by a very angry red dragon.
"Sorry I'm a bit late." Yamato had arrived, pulling Ace to his feet. "Leave them to us Captain."
Niji and Ichiji began to fall down but they caught themselves with their anti gravity boots.
"That fucken hurts!" Exclaimed Ichiji, though he couldn't say anything more as Yamato palmed his face, and slammed him straight to the deck of the floating fortress.
"Ichiji you stupid idiot!" Though Niji also met the end of a fist, this time, it came from Ace himself.
"Paybacks a bitch aint it?" Ace then encapsulates Niji in a ball of fire, one that even his tough exterior couldn't handle.
As for Judge, well his neck was in the palm of Luffy's hands, bloodied from the beating he had just received.
"Spare me...spare me..." Begged Judge, though Luffy wasn't very merciful. But this man was still the father to these bastards of children and he could care less what he did. As long as they were out of his way.
So Luffy tossed Judge to the ground, stomping on his head for good measure. If he survived that, oh well, if not...oh well.
That left Reiju, the pink Vinsmoke who was caring for her brother. She looked up, meeting the eyes of the man who saved Sanji from death.
"Thank you." She whispered, new hope filling within her as it was possible. It was possible to put an end to the evil that is the Germa. The evil that is the lineage factor. Just as Luffy was about to walk away, she spoke once more. "Take me with you." Her determination was there, but Luffy did not take people who are weak, that was a flaw he inherited from Kaido.
"If you are dead weight, you'll die in an instant. I see to it myself" Luffy warned his crew was going to be the strongest, more so that the world will fear them.
"I accept." Responded Reiju. If anyone could help her achieve her dream, it would be this man, the future king of pirates, Straw Hat Luffy.
The Germa 66 were forced to retreat, the shame overwhelming as they were man handled in the East Blue of all places. A deep seethed hate began to enveloped Judge, his goal, to kill Straw Hat Luffy.
The recently named pirate crew known as the Straw Hat Pirates left the vicinity, with Sanji being left to the care of the Baratie employees. Ubermost to the crew, the near death experience caused Sanji to pursue his dream of searching for the All Blue. Through his journey to the Grand Line, he managed to have an agreement with Gin, to join him in his journey. It wouldn't take long before they stumbled upon a certain crescent shaped mustached old man and his family. 'Gurarara'...
Back with the crew…
"And I joined the Captain from that point. Seeing my father and brother's man handled in such an overwhelming fashion made me believe that it was possible...possible to destroy the Lineage Factor and all its evils." Reiju then went to the kitchen, now prepping for desert. She had always enjoyed cooking, only doing so when her father was not paying attention. For cooking reminded her of her mother and what little time they had together.
"That's interesting, I never thought Captain Luffy was such a downer. 'If you are dead weight, you'll die in an instant. I see to it myself'." Yamato mocked Luffy causing the group to laugh once more. Luffy had a smile over his face despite the mockery.
"I'm serious, what can I say, I expect the best so I only sail with the best. That is all. Regardless, continue on with the story." It was the last of the new recruit to speak. He stood up, not knowing where to begin. He tapped his pelican eel chin, finally getting an idea where to begin.
~ARLONG~
"It all started with an invitation. My mother requested for Arlong the Saw to attend a tea party as Jinbei, a trusted advisor of Mama, influenced her in summoning the former member of the Sun PIrates. Mama had been wanting a fishman to join the family once again and Arlong was the perfect candidate. So we sent a messenger to summon him, and he declined, sending the head of the messenger back as an answer to the invitation. In her rage, my mother sent me to deal with the disrespect. And so I and I alone went to the East. Before you all arrive, I decimated the Arlong Pirates for refusing the invitation to the tea party. Mother is particular like that, she doesn't like to be told, no. A group of villagers was ready to storm the fishman headquarters in order to free their dear friend. And I was going to slaughter them all also..." Began the taller man. "...but then you arrived." He looked at Luffy, the sheer amount of respect was commendable.
"Free Nami!" Exclaimed the village chief. He had a pitch fork at hand but what would that do against the strongest of a Yonko's child.
He had a deep red glow in his eyes as he turned his attention to the villagers. Murder, was the only thing in his mind. He retrieved his trident putting it on his side. He then picked up speed preparing to smite the poor helpless villagers when a set of red dragon wings took his attention to the sky.
'A new enemy' He thought before using his trident and threw it at whoever was flying above him.
His trident never met its mark, falling into the hands of the person with the red dragon wings.
"This belongs to you?" And the red dragon hybrid tossed the trident back, the sheer speed was faster than he expected, causing the trident to imbed itself through his right shoulder.
"I fought the Captain for a week, each day being harder than the last. The fishman pirates that plagued the island retreated one by one, jumping into the ocean when given the chance. The villagers took the person named Nami, and we were left to fight free of distractions."
"We had good food in the town." Ace added. To which Yamato agreed.
"I was able to obtain some delicious tangerines from the locals." Said Reiju. "They were welcoming of us despite being pirates."
"I had accumulated 100 million beri to buy back my village from Arlong...and now I don't have to spend a dime." Said the orange haired girl. Her happiness was overwhelming
"We just happen to be at the right place, at the right time." Yamato responded, taking a bite out of the cheesecake made by the combined effort of Nojiko and Reiju.
"So you are all part of that Straw hat guy's pirate crew then?" Asked Nami.
"Yes, he is our captain."
"I'm just stowing along." Ace said with a mouth full of food.
"Next time we meet, I will be part of the Marines. So best be on your toes pirate!" Nami said with a wink.
Regardless Katakuri continued on with the story.
"Throughout the entire fight, he commanded that I drop my loyalty with my mother and join him. I refused because my loyalty was never with my mother, it was with my siblings." He then took a seat once more, continuing the story. "And so I lost after the seventh day, with the Captain showing his true superiority against me. I asked for death but he wanted something else."
"Under your mother nothing will happen with your siblings. With me, the world can be reshaped to where your siblings will no longer live in fear of your mother."
"And who was I to refuse that offer?" Katakuri was the final member to be added to the Strawhat Crew during the East Blue saga. A successful recruitment process, just a bit lengthy.
Luffy would have wanted to leave the East in a matter of days, but freakin Katakuri held him back for a week. A testament of Katakuri's power but it was still quite annoying. Only one person could match his fighting stamina like that, and it was none other than Yamato. A fine addition indeed.
~SMOKER~
"Then that brings us to fucken Louge Town, who could forget Smoker, the bastard was persistent." Ace commented remembering his battle with the smoke user.
"Fucken Pirate, better give up now!" Smoker was a marine stationed at Loguetown. He had a near perfect track record of stopping any pirates from entering the Grand Line. Their were only a few exemption and that only happened when he was off to a stupid meeting.
"This could go on forever!" Ace had unleashed a flaming pillar strike against the smoke logia, Smoker of the Marines.
"At least you have a fight." Yamato stood over the limb body of a female swordsman who worked under Smoker, poor marine, she was severely outmatched. "Where's Captain anyway?"
Reiju and Katakuri had dealt with an alliance of Buggy the Clown and Iron Mace Alvida, both of which were hell bent in avenging their defeat at the hands of Luffy. Unlucky for them, they could not even get close to the Captain to even attempt an assasination.
"I'll find him." Reiju grew butterfly wings floating into the sky in order to locate their captain.
"I will prepare our ship for departure. We must head to the Grand Line with haste. Unwanted marine attention could eventually lead to a Vice Admiral or worse, Admirals." Katakuri ran toward the port, people turned their head at finding a massive man running through the streets.
As Katakuri remained alert in his path to the Going Merry, he noticed a shopkeeper who kept fake bills under his stand, a beautiful looking lady who had a hidden package between her/his legs, and a green haired swordsman tempting fate by sacrificing his arm to the curse blade. Katakuri lingered at the interaction, pleased to learn that the swordsman survived, earning the rights to the cursed blade.
The swordsman noticed a lingering eye through the shop window. He then raised the cursed blade, pointing it at the direction of where Katakuri once stood.
But the Straw Hat pirate was already gone.
"I'll take this old man, how much?"
"You can have it my boy." Replied the shopkeeper.
"Great, this will go a long way in helping me cash in some bounties."
It could be frustrating to have such advance observation haki, but regardless, Katakuri was always on high alert, no matter the situation.
...
"When I was told that a certain boy could match my son's description, I could not believe it. But now seeing you in person...Luffy my boy, I am your father."
"My father?" Revelation of his real father took Luffy by surprise.
"How'd you get the scar?" The man with a tribal tattoo over his face touched the scar under his left eye.
"An assassin was sent to kill me, that was before I was saved by...Kaido." Luffy felt comfortable with the man, was he truly his father?
"And the hat?"
"Red Hair Shanks…"
"I'm just...Luffy, come with me to the New World. Be my right hand as together, as father and son, we take down the world government, the same people that took your mother from us..." Dragon offered and Luffy was inclined to accept. Yet he remembered what he set out to do. He left his adoptive father (as much as he hated to admit it) Kaido, to carve his own path.
"I would, I really want to, but I can't." Luffy recognized a familiar butterfly wing in the sky. Knowing full well that it was none other than Reiju. "Goodbye for now Dragon, may our paths cross again." And Luffy flew after Reiju, and the Straw Hat Pirates went through LogueTown, and headed straight for the Grand Line.

Midflight Luffy had a funny feeling, like someone was trying to hunt him down. Nobody hunts him down, he was always the hunter, never the prey.
"Reiju, head to the ship, I will be there in a minute." Luffy commanded to which the pink haired woman nodded and abided by the captain's orders.
Sure enough, running along the rooftop of the buildings in the town of Loguetown, a green haired swordsman wielding three blades had been pursuing him.
"Mugiwara Luffy, I am after your bounty of 100 million beri!" The pirate hunter, Zoro, had caught wind of such a big fish, despite coming out of the East Blue. If his goal to be the strong swordsman would come to fruition, this would be the chance to do so.
"100 million? Horrible, I should at least be in the billions." Luffy said out loud, dropping to the streets below, with Zoro following after him.
"I'm here for your head Mugiwara." Zoro pointed his sword at Luffy, though the Straw hat captain was not really paying attention to the swordsman. "I said I'm after..."
Though Luffy turned his gaze at Zoro, causing shivers to run down the spine of the bounty hunter. With just a mere look, Zoro could feel himself collapse at any moment. Yet he remained standing, for he had a promise to fulfill.
"Fine then swordsman, hit me with your best strike." Luffy extended both arms out, showing that he wasn't going to strike back.
"Your funeral!" Zoro unleashed the strongest attack of his arsenal, bringing all three swords into a single point of impact. And yet the straw hat man remained unfazed. He put all his power into the strike and yet it did not amount for anything.
"Shame swordsman, your will is fantastic, but the delivery is not there." Luffy then retrieves his own blade, the Shodai Kitetsu, it vibrates violently at being close to its brother blade. Luffy sliced Zoro with a horizontal slash, destroying one of the three blades of Zoro.
The bounty hunter lay on the floor, bleeding from the wound that was inflicted.
"Fascinating, you are still alive. Then use this as a fuel. If you are going to be after my head, then better ascend to something greater than where you are now!" Luffy then proceeded to leave the swordsman in his own grief of defeat.
"I Roronoa Zoro, swear to hunt you down till the end of Earth!"
"Do so Roronoa, I look forward to it." Luffy found an interesting man indeed. He was not quite strong, at least not yet, but the potential was there.
As Luffy disappeared at a distance. A marine officer and his assistance stood over the bleeding figure of Roronoa Zoro.
"Looks like you got your ass handed to you Pirate Hunter." The marine officer had thick white smoke swirling around him. The woman had a sword in front of her, ashamed from her overwhelming defeat.
"Shut the fuck up Smoker."
Present Time...

CatViper: Yes I hope that worked out the way that it was intended. The east blue does drag and there's no drama due to being such a weak sea. Hope there was enough tension though to make it interesting.
