It has been one month after Roxana announced her pregnancy, everyone in Kokokain was happy about the big news. But one thing both her and Jackson need to do, was to get some stuff for their child. They soon made plans to get some baby things just so they won't be unprepared. The two walked along a street and entered the first store. They had to find a nice cot for the baby to sleep in, but there had to be some other things in it so it wouldn't get bored. Jackson walked around trying to find one when Roxana found a lovely baby chair, "It's perfect."
"Hello there." Said a voice behind Roxana, "Might I help you with anything?" Roxana turned around to see an employee with a happy company smile on her face, "I see that you're looking for something nice for a baby. Who is it for? A Friend." Roxana shook her head, "Nope. Me and Jackson are expecting and we're looking for some lovely items for this bun in the oven." The employee was happy to show Roxana some of the other items that would pique her interest, meanwhile Jackson was looking at the cots, and was wondering what size would be perfect, "What one should I go for? I don't know where to go for the nice one with a mobile, but it might be too small, or the one with a learning board, but then it might be too big." Then another employee came up to him.
"I see your looking for a cot." The other employee asked, "My co-worker, Arlene is currently talking to your wife on getting a nice baby chair. I might assist you in getting a lovely cot." "Yes, I need one that would be the ideal size and has the finest way of preventing the baby from getting jaded." Jackson responded. The employee showed some cots that will help the baby sleep and keep it from getting bored, then Jackson was shown one that was the perfect size, and had the best amount of activities for the baby, "I'll take it.".
"Very good sir, it also seems that your wife has also found a chair for the soon to be born infant." The other employee stated. Jackson walked up to the front desk with the perfect cot with Roxana holding the box for the chair. "And the total goes to 12,000 bolts." The female employee said, "We accept both change and credit." The male one stated. Both Jackson and Roxana paid for the items and ordered them for delivery. They soon went to the next shop to by some new clothes. "Ah, hello there." Said an optimistic tailor, "You want something nice, yes?" Roxana was stunned by the tailor's happy-go-lucky attituded. "Uh, hi." Jackson started, "We're looking for some new baby clothes and some maternity clothing as well." The tailor smiled, "Ok then, I'll get some nice clothes so you can see which ones you're wanting to get."
The tailor went to the back room to get some clothes, Roxana sat down on a nice velvet seat waiting for the clothes while Jackson looked at some clothes for him. Then the tailor came back, "I found a nice clothes for the upcoming baby, Miss?" "Solar." Roxana answered. "I got a nice onesie for the baby." The tailor said, "I'd say it was a nice pick just from the corner of my eye." Roxana looked at it and was happy from the look of it, "Jackson, look at this lovely onesie." "It's amazing Roxy." Jackson responded. "Now, let's see if there's any nice maternity clothes." The tailor said as he went back to the back store. Roxana soon sighed and placed he right hand on her stomach, "Jackson, this reminds me of one story about Bethany when she was pregnant with Emilia."
"Really?" Jackson questioned as he sat down beside his wife. Roxana started telling her story about her sister, "Bethany was quite picky with some items, she knew she was having a girl, so that meant all, and I mean all items got for her had to be girl themed. Now the relations between me and Bethany was almost strained, we usually had some arguments that Aberforth had to break up on." She started to shed a tear, "Bethany never liked it when I gave her a lovely picture of her and Emile together. Then I wasn't informed of Emilia's birth until 2 weeks later." Jackson went in closer to comfort Roxana. "I rarely saw Emilia." She continued, "Bethany was also strict in that she would only visit Aberforth. Then came her second pregnancy, I knew she'd also be picky over the whole thing, until." She began to cry hard, "It happened."
"What happened?" Jackson wondered. "Bethany miscarriage." Roxana whispered, "She was devastated over the whole thing, she told my parents about it, she didn't know I was there too, when she finally saw me, she came up, got down to my eye level, and hugged me. She apologised for being so mean to me. I forgave her, not because she was my sister, but because the whole thing was awful." Jackson hugged Roxana to calm her down, "I know that feeling, my mom was going to have a 3rd child after Justin, but she miscarriage. It's always heart-breaking to lose a child that isn't born yet. It's even worse if your child was still alive."
The tailor came back and showed Roxana some maternity clothing while Jackson watched it approving some of the clothes his wife wanted. They walked out the shop and decided to head back home. "You know what my biggest fear is Jackson?" Roxana said solemnly, "It's to lose my child to something awful." "Don't worry." Jackson comforted, "We'll keep him or her safe. No matter what happens, abandonment or missing limb, we will make sure they'll never happen."
