As the giant wolf was slowly opening his mouth and the flames got bigger and bigger the saderan army panicked at the same time and unconsciously wanted to escape but the hard training and the punishment of escape made it, so they stayed in place and maintain ground against this powerful foe and to them, it took an eternity for the beast mouth to completely open and show a powerful fire brewing in its massive mouth, and it just got bigger and bigger and then a sound that made every saderan here to remember in their nightmares and the back of their minds for the rest of their miserable lives and it sounded like this"RSASDSSSSVSCSCVS" It was the sound tearing apart for the fireball coming at them, and then it impacted the front at least 300 saderans were burned into charcoal and pieces the shockwave destroyed the internal organs of some saderan to at least 15 meters from the impact zone and the closest ones had their ears drums exploded and blood gushed from the ears and that not the worst the of what happened of some that got the ears blown up the eyse pooped out of the sockets and the temperature rose to the point of third degrees burns being formed in minutes and eyes starting to boil it was a devastating attack...

The soldiers thought but sooner they discovered it didn't end as winds started blowing from nowhere into the fire, and it grew slowly and as the fire grew the surroundings got even hotter and the ones that the shockwave just injured started to feel it and the already hot area got unforgivable and the ones in there felt their insides burning and looked at their hands becoming charcoal black and then the armor started slowly glowing, and then they dropped as burning charred bodies and slowly melting armor. The nobles, officers and soldiers saw this just looked in shock and terror at the damage done.

The officer Gallius the one in charge of the legion that got attacked paled and decided to do something he should have done a long time send a message to the general and ask all the help from the closest legions which adds to a number of 35,000 instead of the 6,000...they have now, and he has to do something that might make other call him a coward, but he knows Maximus enough that he will not scold or make a charge of treason for this as he knows a retreat is not always a coward act but a tactic of not losing more troops for a dumb attack that will make unnecessary death, and he respects him for that as the soldiers too, but he's called a coward by some of the nobles and he is sadly mostly unmerited for his military tactics that the others considers cowardly tactics but he despite that he is still one of the best generals of the empire. But is slowly falling from that title because the last campaign he participated was the warrior bunnies war... he just could go through the gate, in underhanded ways which may or not be the officer doing using his family.

"You go and tell the general of this and bring three more messengers with you then on your way say to the others legions of what happened here but send the messengers that are with you do that you focus on going to the general." Gallius said in serious tone.

He made a choice he will complete it even if he dies "Go now"

"Yes sir" The messenger said as he ran to where the others where it will take ten minutes for this messenger group to inform the others.

"Send the orders of retreat" Gallius said as he looks at the giant wolf's flaming mouth.

A horn was blown and as soon most soldiers on the attacked area heard they got a glad face for being able to retreat or escape of this battle without consequences and started to back of.

Gallius was observing this and commanded"Tell the surviving wyverns troops, demihumans and the arrived archers to cover our retreat and bring the wounded first and when more than half of us retreated the archers must retreat first and the demihumans retreat last"

He is impressed with himself for commanding troops like this and making this plan.

The ones under him node their heads and relay the message to the archers and wyverns riders some riders reluctantly agree, but the others do it too.

The archers are a problem for they are not on his command and may be hard to give them orders he hopes the one commanding the archers is not an idiot like most nobles.

Tlrrlrrrr The ground shakes again and Gallius just knows one thing that shakes the ground... he's moving again he looks at the giant wolf again and sees it slowly getting up and when it is standing up he flexes the muscles of the legs... he's going to charge, gallius gulps and prepares for the worst.

The wolf expires air from the mouth and lowers his posture and the ground breaks under the pressure of the wolf's feet and then a blur appears from where he was and where the troops are retreating he appears killing many soldiers in this way and bites an area full of soldiers most got on his mouth and he started swinging the spiked tail trough hordes of soldiers and impaling 20 to 40 people in each swing even ogres where impaled, in just 7 seconds he did all that and then 30 meters of around him a fire spread and what Gallius can tell lightning too from the gigantic wolf many died burned and/or electrocuted then it stopped looked at and an exhale was heard from the giant wolf he lets the soldiers retreat, nobody attacks as every saderan runs away from it as fast as possible.

The others wolves on the back started running into where most of the copses made by the giant wolf made and started eating the remains of the corpses. And ignored the retreating army.

While the massacre was happening two heavy armored people were walking in the forest near the gate.

"Shesshh why we need to do patrols in deserted places dude"The smallest of the two said

"Because if they find us and discover who we work for we are going to be screwed and is for searching for desolated people to do what our group does best and more for the merits we could get for encountering a desolated people.

"I know that Connel, i was forced to memorize that when i was twelve years old, but I'm just saying we could get more merits if we go to the city and steal precious ores and more!"

"We can't we would just be destroyed as we are weaker than a soldier there maybe at least as strong as a civil guard and we just have mediocre enchanted iron armor and the civil guard all have well enchanted diamond armor some even have high protection III and High sharpness II and the higher ranked and stronger ones have amethyst armor man, amethyst, and some important ones even have goddamn amethyst reinforced with netherite dude and the chiefs don't make me talk of the chief guards... level four dragon armor i will not go assault a city of that level before i bang your sister!?"

"Could we just talk normally like we were before you started doing this...?"Connor helplessly said and is hopeful that he just goes back to no posing before he poses even more silly poses.

"I will try"He says as he poses with a hand hiding his left eye and the other on his waist and his back arched back 45 degrees he looks at the sky like this.

Connor puts his hand on a pocket in his black iron armor, and he takes out a stone Warhammer and hits Novis head repeatedly with it.

"Stop with the goddamn poses and just talk, you can pose alone where nobody can burn their eyes in shame looking at your poses."

Runes of fear:A Blighted unique ability it inspires extreme unnatural fear but is not used for its fear effect for the cause of the fear not being from the user themselves but from general fear of things which at most is extremely distracting for that is used primarily to confuse and give distracting thoughts to enemies, there's a similar rune but that one gives true fear to enemies.

Description from the universal index:This ruby warg is bigger than normal wargs of his Strength Rank for the cause of having bigger base stats of damage and a lack of a skill that makes it higher base damage without an increase in size, as a blighted one it will give extreme enhancement to basic stats of damage and speed and the multiplier enhancement of speed and damage is decent (which is a lot for how hard is to raise the multipliers) which makes it a beast of his rank strength above average but everything pales in comparison for his talent. It didn't reach even the half of his potential which if he gets he will be the first of his kind. And a legendary beast.

Special notes:It will for some reason become neutral to some people or animals for reasons unknown but what is in common with these individuals is a connection to the have some connection with the shvxms g*2de*?s2 L*23.

As ruby warg it has an extra element of fire.
