CHAPTER 3

I was having a weird dream; I was in an open field with people surrounding a pyre with a dead body on it. Right in front of me was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. She had silver hair that went down to her back. She had a beautiful pale skin colour that complimented her amazing purple eyes. She was arguing with a middle aged man about something. I tried to make out what they were arguing about but I couldn't hear a thing. It seems the purple eyed beauty won the argument. She then turned the people surrounding the pyre and gave a speech. She then said something to the middle aged man. He picked up a woman who was bind and led her to the pyre and tied her down. She then set the pyre on fire. Even if I couldn't hear anything I could tell the woman who was tied to the pyre was screaming. The beautiful woman then started walking to the fire. I tried to grab her but my arms just went straight through her. I watched sadly as the flames consumed her. Dawn came and all that was left of the pyre was ashes. Then the middle aged man passed by me until he reached the centre of the pyre. Seated on the ground naked was the woman but she wasn't alone, with her were three dragons.

I then woke up drenched in sweat with my heart beating fast. Who was that girl? Why didn't she burn? Were those dragons? Were the questions going through my mind. I need a bath. I scratched Zoe behind one of her ears and left for the bath. When I was done I grabbed my usual attire. On my table was my sword. It was a replica of Riptide with a few changes. For example in replace of a trident on the handle of the sword was a wolf with waves behind it. Written across the blade of the sword was 'earth shaker', the name of the sword and a reminder of Poseidon. Once I had earth shaker strapped to my side I went to look out the window. It was still early, so I had time to practice before my spar with Jamie Lannister.

While walking through the castle corridors my mind went back to the dream I had. Was it a normal or maybe it was a demigod dream? I haven't had any demigod dream since I was reborn as Arthur. Maybe things were about to change. When I reached the training yard I went straight to a training dummy. I was so engrossed in my training that I lost track of time and my surrounding.

"I see you're ready for our spar," a voice belonging to Jamie Lannister said. Turning around I faced the Lannister.

"No matter how good I am with a sword," I said "You should never underestimate an opponent."

"Well said," the Lannister said. He was putting on a golden dress shirt with brown pants. He had his sword strapped to his side. Looking around I noticed a crowd of people watching us.

"What do they want?" I asked pointing my thumb to the direction of the crowd.

"It seems some people over heard our conversation," he said "They want to see who's better, the King slayer or the Sea wolf."

"Okay," I said noticing the some of the Kings Guard and Arya watching us. I called over one of the Stark guards to initiate the match.

"I want a clean match," the guard said "The first to make the other yield wins, now begin!"

The Lannister and I circled each other waiting for the other to make the first move. It seems the Lannister lacked patience and attacked me first. He dashed right at me going for a slash at my head thinking I would dodge, boy was he wrong. I blocked the attack and pushed his sword away with my palm.

"You thought I'd make it easy for you," I said while blocking another one of his attacks. We kept on going back and forth with him attacking and me blocking and dodging his attacks. Seeing an opening I went on the attack. In the stands everyone was astonished by how they fought. They could tell that Jamie Lannister fought with skill and grace while Arthur Stark fought with more brutal and calculated moves. Everyone watched in shock and amazement as Arthur made a feint to the left, tricking the Lannister and disarming him. Jamie could feel the cold steel of Arthur sword as he held the point of it to his throat.

"I believe I win," Arthur told the frowning Lannister. I could hear Arya shouting my name in the background.

"I guess you do," the Lannister said while putting his hand out.

"It's been a while since someone lasted that long against me," I said while shaking his hand "I usually disarm Robb in twenty minutes."

"Same here," he said smiling "Call me Jamie from now on."

"Sure thing Jamie," I said smiling at him as he walked away. Just as I turned around I felt tiny arms wrap around my waist.

"Arthur that was amazing," Arya said smiling at me "When are you going to show me when to do?"

"At our next training I'll show you," I said while running my hand through her hair.

"Okay," I said while untangling myself from Arya "I need to take a bath I'll talk to you later."

"Okay," she said. I then picked up my sword and left for a bath.

Later

It seems word of Jamie's loss spread around because a lot of northern men kept congratulating me on defeating a Lannister. I just hope my mother doesn't hear a word about it because she'll give me lecture about 'sparing with the royal family.' Right now I was on my way to Sansa's room; it's been a while since I had a conversation with my sister. When I reached her room I knocked on her door and waited for a reply.

"Come in," I heard Sansa say. I opened her door and walked in making sure to close it after me. Sansa was seated by her table reading one of her books. She was putting on one of those southern dresses she loves. I went over to her and hugged her and planted a kiss on her forehead.

"How's my sister doing," I said while pulling out a chair.

"I'm okay," she said.

"I heard father wants you to marry the prince," I said. I have no idea what my father was thinking. He wanted to send my sister south with that scare crow.

"Yes I'm very excited about marrying the prince," she said with an enormous smile "I'll get to be Queen one day."

"Actually Sansa I don't agree with the idea of you marrying the prince," I said.

"Why?" Sansa asked.

"I don't like the way he carries himself," I explained to her "And I overall think his not good for you."

"But I love him!" she yelled.

"No you don't," I said harshly. I could see the shock through her watery eyes. I almost never raised my voice to my siblings but Sansa was being childish right now.

"Do you know what love is?" I asked harshly "Do you know what it means to love someone? Do you?" She didn't respond but kept her eyes to the ground with tears coming out. I couldn't take it anymore and brought her in for a hug.

"I'm sorry for raising my voice," I whispered to her while I rubbed her back.

"If you think that you love him I'll support you," I whispered "Just know I don't agree with it, and I'll kick his arse if he tries to harm you." When I couldn't feel her tears anymore I pulled away and kissed her on her head.

"I love you Sansa," I told her.

"I love you too big brother," she said. Just then one of the servants walked into the room.

"Sorry milord and lady but your mother asks for both of you," she said.

"What for?" I asked curious as to why our mother would want us both.

"Your brother Brandon fell from a tower," she said almost in a whisper.

"Where is he?" I asked urgently.

"In his room milord," she said.

Brandon's room

Catelyn right now was seated beside her son bed. Right now she was wandering if her son would recover from the fall. She can't remember how many times she told Bran not to climb. If he had listened he wouldn't have been in that bed right.

"Mother," she heard a voice say. Standing in the doorway was her son Arthur. He came over gave me a hug.

"How's he doing," he said looking at Bran. Arthur always amazed her with how he cared for siblings. Unlike Robb or Sansa, Arthur openly displayed his affection for his siblings, including the Jon boy. He is so protective of his siblings, especially Arya and Sansa.

"Maester Luwin says he won't wake up in a long time. Even if he wakes up he'll be paralysed from the waist down," she whispered with teary eyes.

"I know Bran will be okay. He'll pull through all this." Arthur told his mother. Arthur then went to Brandon's bedside. He stared at his young brother wondering how he fell from the tower. Bran is the best climber he knows, he wouldn't have fallen that easily, something must have happened for him to fall down.

Placing a kiss on Brandon's head, "I'll be here when you wake up."

"Your father hasn't told?" he heard his mother ask.

"Told me what?" he asked his mother.

"You'll be going to Kings Landing with him and your sister's," she said sadly.

"I'm not going south mother. I'm not living Bran while his like this." Arthur told his mother.

"You know your father can't look after both Sansa and Arya alone." Catelyn told her son with smile "They'll need you and your things are already packed for you."

"Okay. Love you both." Arthur looked at his mother and comatose brother.

Courtyard

I needed to say bye to my brother before he left for the wall. I know Sansa and my mother hated Jon because he was bastard. I couldn't hate Jon because in my previous life I was a bastard as well. A bastard son of Poseidon hated by both Triton and Amphrite. We never had a choice in our birth and shouldn't be hated for it. As I continued to walk through the courtyard saw Jon and Robb speaking to each other.

"The next time I see you, you'll all be in black," I heard Robb say.

"It was always my colour," I heard Jon say. I decided to interrupt their conversation.

"Jon," I greeted him "You really are going to the wall."

"It's where I need to be," Jon said. I looked at Robb and he was okay with it. There nothing I can do to convince the idiot.

"Well goodbye brother," I said sadly "Hope I see you soon."

"You will." Jon replied with a smile. "Farewell Snow," Robb told Jon.

"And you Stark." They then went on to hug each other. Hope to see you again Snow.

Later on the King's Road

I was riding beside's Arya and Sansa's carriage on Nightshade with Zoe walking beside me. It felt good being out of Winterfell but I didn't like the destination. Never in my life have I ever gone to King's Landing but from what I've heard it smells like shit. The dream I had kept on plaguing my mind. Who was the girl with silver hair? Why didn't she burn? Were some of the questions on my mind?

We rode for some time until we came to a stop. It's seems we're stopping for some rest. I was planning to check on Sansa and Arya but I need to clear my mind.

I was wandering the forest looking for a place to calm my mind. It came in form of a stream. Even if it wasn't' salt water, just the sight of the stream almost made me jump for joy. Stretching my senses to make sure no one was around, I drew water from the splashed it on myself. I immediately felt all my exhaustion disappear like it wasn't there. There's something I found strange about this world. Whenever I was near the sea it seemed to hum in excitement. It was like the sea was dormant and asleep before I arrived, whenever I used my powers at sea it felt like it recognised the sea in blood but it never claimed me as its master, it's like it already belonged to someone. Even if it did I had full control over it.

When I was done at the stream I decided to look around the forest. I kept on walking until I saw Arya and the butcher's son practicing with clubs.

I could see the training I was giving Arya was paying off. She was continuously disarming the butcher's son. Everything was going okay when I saw Joffrey and Sansa walking. I couldn't make out what the prince was saying but he drew his sword and gave the butcher's boy a cut on his check.

Arya then hit the prince with a club. I knew things were about to become worse. The prince got up and started wildly swinging his sword at Arya. Arya tripped and fell on her back; the prince had his sword pointed at Arya.

I knew I wouldn't make it in time to stop scarecrow. Concentrating on my fist, I punched the ground and sent a mini earth quake towards Joffrey. I could see him stumbling until he fell on his arse. I grabbed Joffrey and pulled him up until we were on eye level.

"Try and hurt my sister and you'll end up regretting it," I said with and emotionless face "Remember that." I let threat hang. I don't care if his the prince or fucking Zeus, I will hurt him. Letting go of his shirt, I watched as he fell back on his arse.

"Let's go Arya," I said lifting her up and walking away. I didn't even look at Sansa. I was disappointed in her. She let and watched Joffrey do that to Arya, her younger sister.

Arya didn't say anything as we walked through the forest. Knowing we were far enough from the campsite I sat Arya down.

"It's okay," I said smiling at her"He can't hurt you now." She didn't say anything but threw her tiny arms around my neck.

"Come on I'll tell your favourite story," I said knowing perfectly well what story she wanted.

"The one about Perseus," she said looking at me.

"Yes the one about Perseus." I always told my younger siblings stories of my past life. Not that they knew it was my past life. All them enjoyed my stories even Robb. They couldn't believe a god had a child with a mortal. The sun was setting and I was finishing the story.

"-and Artemis put Zoe in the stars," I finished remembering it as if it was yesterday.

"He really held up the sky?" Arya asked with pure wonder in her eyes.

"He really did," I said "Now let's get back, their probably looking for us."She grudgingly agreed and we left for the Inn.

While we were walking I heard some voices ahead of us. Then in a few minutes we were surrounded by some Lannister guards, judging from the lions on their armour.

"The Queen has ordered us to get you and your sister," the guard I presumed to be in charge said. I could feel Arya tighten her grip on my hands. Not wanting any trouble, I let them led Arya and I to the Queen. I could have taken all of them but Arya would've gotten hurt.

Inn

Arya and I were surrounded by a bunch of Lannister guards with the King and his family in front of us. The Queen was glaring at me, the prince was smirking at me and the King just had a look of indifference.

We were waiting for my father to arrive. It seems we can't begin the meeting without my father. After a few more minutes of waiting my father walked in. He pushed his way through the Lannister guards till he got to me and Arya.

"I'm sorry," Arya repeatedly said. My father looked at me and gave me a small nod.

"You hurt?" my father asked, concern filling his voice. I have no idea why he was asking if she was hurt, she was with me after all.

"No," Arya said.

"What is the meaning of this?" my father fumed "Why weren't my son and daughter brought to me at once?"

"Don't dare speak to your King like that," the Queen told my father.

"Quiet woman," the King told his wife "Sorry Ned never meant to frighten the girl but we need to get this business done quickly."

"Your girl and boy attacked my son," the Queen said. Arya was about to say something but I put my hand o her shoulder to stop her.

"If I attacked your son he would've been dead right now," I told the Queen.

"Joffrey told us what happened," the Queen said "Your sister attacked my son and you even threatened him."

"Well if your son never attacked my sister I never would have threatened him," I calmly replied looking the Queen straight in the eyes.

"I never attacked her!" scarecrow said "Both of them attacked me. She even threw my sword in the river."

"Liar!" Arya screamed at him.

"Shut up!" the prince screamed back.

"Enough!" the King shouted "He tells me one thing he tells me another, seven hells what I'm I supposed to make of this."

"If you raised the prince right none of this would have happened," I said calmly. I wasn't afraid to speak up "His an arrogant and stuck up prince that needs to be taught what's right." I could see the anger flare in the Queens eyes. The King looked like he didn't care.

"Where's your other daughter Ned?" the King asked my father.

"In bed asleep," my father answered.

"She's not," the Queen told the King "Sansa, come hear darling." We all heard the door open as Sansa walked in. Everyone in the room started whispering when they saw Sansa. What was the Queen planning? Sansa then came to a stop next to Arya.

"Now child come here and tell me what happened," the King told Sansa "Tell it to all and tell the truth. It's a great crime to lie to a King." Sansa looked around and faced the King again.

"I don't know," Sansa said "I don't remember everything happened so fast." The whispering then begun. How could she not know, unless she wanted to protect the prince? I was disappointed in my sister. She chose to protect the prince rather than her own family. After a few words and Arya pulling on Sansa hair the King spoke.

"Children fight, what would you have me do?" the King looked at his wife. "And you let a little girl disarm you," The King said disappointed in his son.

"I want them to be punished," the Queen said looking at me and Arya "Especially him, he also insulted our family. I want him executed." My father then decided to speak up.

"I will not let my son be executed," my father said "Is this your order my King?" There was a long silence. I could feel Arya holding my hand in a tight grip. I could see Sansa staring at the Queen with wide eyes. I on the other hand was looking the King straight in the eyes.

"I cannot ignore the insults your son has thrown at us," the King told my father "he can't go unpunished. He will be banished from Westeros for a period of four years." Well this is what I get for insulting the royal family. I should learn to shut my mouth. My father was about to retort but I held him back.

"How long do I have to leave Westeros, my grace." I looked at the King.

"Two days," the King said.

Without saying a word I left the Inn. I could hear my father and siblings footsteps as I walked to my tent. I started packing essential things like coins and clothes . After I loaded Nightshade with my luggage, I decided to say my goodbyes to my family. I could already see Sansa and Arya crying and it hurt me so much. I walked towards them and hugged them whispering my goodbyes to them.

"Sansa I want you to protect Arya while I'm gone," I said looking her straight in the eyes "I want you to remember she's your sister not your enemy. Be her older sister and best friend." All she did was nod her head. Kneeling down I kissed Arya on her head.

"Take care of Sansa as well little wolf. She's your family," I said while wiping her tears " I also want you to take care of Zoe while I'm gone."

"I will," Arya said with her voice cracking a little. I then turned to my father.

"Take care son," my father said.

"I will," I said looking at the man who raised me "Make sure mother and Robb don't do something crazy when they hear about this."

"I know how your mother and Robb can get," he said giving me a sad smile.

"Bye father," I said looking at him.

"Bye son," He then hugged me. Little did I know it would be the last time we'd see each other. Looking at Arya and Sansa I waved goodbye. I saddled Nightshade and rode into the night. Using my powers I sensed for the closet sea body and followed.

"So boss where we heading?" I heard the voice of Nightshade in my mind.

"First we get to the sea then will see where I'll go from there," I said.

Here's chapter 3. Hope you liked it as much as I liked writing it. Chapter skips to the time after the Starks were killed.
