Alright, I fixed some of the things people pointed out on the second chapter, and now I present to you chapter three of shota Suzuki!
Suzuki POV:
After the guardians pledge, the maids, servants and lesser minions left the throne room, leaving only the ones who introduced themselves as the 'Pleiades' and the guardians with me.
"S-so... what do we do now?"
"Well Suzuki-sama, we must test your body first. If you don't have any of your magic ability or strength left, then we must assign the proper body guards for you when you go outside. Worry not, I, Albedo and Pandora shall take care of the country in your absence."
This Demiurge guy really is smart huh?
"Mare and Cocytus, would you do the honors of performing said tests?"
"S-sure, leave it to me!"
"I. Accept. This. Task."
"Can Shizu-san come as well?"
"Unfortunately Suzuki-sama, I will be having her go to the Holy Kingdom to explain things to the King there."
"Suzuki-sama, if you need a maid, might I be of service to you?"
"You're... Yuri! Yuri right? Sure you can come along."
"Thank you, Suzuki-sama."
Me and my group were currently standing in the middle of what Mare called a coliseum, with the audience being comprised of unnatural stone people. There were white broken pillars that stretched up to the sky, and a huge sand field that was in the middle of all it.
'Well... this is intimidating...'
"Is. Everything. Ok. Suzuki. Sama?"
"Y-yeah... Let's get this test going! I wanna learn some magic!"
"U-um, Suzuki-sama, I'm a d-druid not a necromancer l-like you, so I c-can only teach y-you basic r-rudimentary spells. If you want m-more spells you'll h-have to speak to Pandora-s-san or go to t-the library and talk to T-titus-san."
"What is a druid anyway?"
'U-um, w-well, we use f-forces of nature t-to cast spells."
"And what's a necromancer?"
"N-necromancers use n-negative energies t-to cast. You u-used lots of d-death based spells."
Death spells?! Negative energy?! I was quite the evil person huh...
"W-well, let's get started then Mare."
"Y-yes! So uh... the first r-rudimentary spell is called 'magic arrow'."
Magic arrow? I feel as though I've heard that before...
"Magic arrow."
And, as expected, I cast ten arrows made out of mana. They fly forward and dissapate after a certain distance.
"As. Expected. Of. Suzuki. Sama. Even. As. A. Child. You. Have. Unparalleled. Magic. Talent."
That's weird. I didn't know about magic arrow before, but now I feel as though I've known about it all my life. I know the range, mana cost, and effects it will have on the target. Target? Mana cost? I never learned those words...
"S-Suzuki-sama, how were you able to learn that f-fast?"
"I dunno, I just... knew?"
"I-I see... Well, the n-next one is a-acid shot."
I've also heard that before.
"Acid shot."
Just like last time, a gout of acid flew forward and burnt the sand.
"U-um, Suzuki-sama, are y-you sure you d-dont know anything a-about magic?"
"When you said the names of those spells, I felt as though I knew about them all my life. So maybe just keep saying spells?"
"I-I see... Um... While I can't cast this spell, you should be able to. S-summon undead f-first."
Yep, I've also heard that. So I just get to cheat my way through my isekai? Am I some overly powerful being who can learn any spell?
"Summon undead first."
Three skeletons rise out of the sand, and turn to face me.
"Now. Suzuki. Sama. Give. Them. A. Command. Summons. Will. Obey. Whatever. You. Tell. Them. To. Do."
"U-um... Take three steps back!"
The skeletons obey. This seems pretty useful.
"Do a handstand!"
"Jump as high as you can!"
"Dance with each other!"
I spend a few minutes messing around with them, and then turn back to Mare.
"So, what's next?"
"N-next let's t-try a higher tier spell. Bless o-of ti-titania."
"Bless of Titania."
A fairy appears in my outstretched hand.
"Greetings, o' summoner." She says in a high-pitched childlike voice. "Where would you like me to lead you?"
"Lead me?"
"Indeed, I will show you the safest way to get to wherever you want to go. However, I don't sense that you need to go anywhere, so why have you summoned me?"
"I'm just testing out magic. I'll call you back when I have a need for you, kay'?"
"Understood, o' summoner."
The fairy disappeared into thin air, and I felt a connection of sorts being severed.
"So, what's next?"
3 hours later:
I've been in this coliseum for around 3 hours now, shooting summons with fireballs and magic arrows, and learning lots of new magics and skills.
I'm currently flying a couple meters above some skeletons and zombies.
"Triplet maximize magic, Lightning!"
Three bolts of lightning fly from my hands and vaporize the undead, ending this test.
"Suzuki. Sama. Can. We. Test. Your. Physical. Strength. Now?"
"Um, sure, but I doubt I'm that strong..."
"Perhaps. But. It's. Good. To. Always. Know. Basic. Fighting. Skills."
"Right..."
"The. Spell. You. Used. To. Fight. Melee. Battles. Was. Perfect. Warrior."
"Perfect warrior."
My body feels lighter, my arms stronger and I feel more agile.
"Take. These. Suzuki. Sama."
Cocytus takes out 2 knifes from out of thin air, each are black in color with weird symbols on the pommels.
"Cocytus, can I change out of these robes first? They'll get in my way."
"Of. Course. Suzuki. Sama."
"Suzuki-sama, please allow me to do such a task!"
"S-sure I guess..."
I might be young, but I can undress myself! Yuri takes off all of my clothes except for a thin purple robe I was wearing underneath.
"Alright, let's get started!"
"Suzuki. Sama. Please. Come. At. Me. With. Nothing. Held. Back."
"Huh? But what if you get hurt?"
"In. Physical. Combat. You. Would. Barely. Be. Able. To. Scratch. Me. Your. Strength. Lies. In. Magic."
"Ok then..."
I still feel conflicted about swinging at him, but if he says I can't hurt him, then I probably can't.
I run up to him with my right dagger outstretched towards his chest, and his sword comes up to block it. I jump up and behind him as I attempt to stab his neck with my left dagger, but he turns around faster than I can see and blocks that too.
After a few minutes of me slashing and stabbing at him to no avail, I gain some distance from him and ask,
"What's the point of this test if you're just going to block everything I do?"
"To. See. How. Good. Of. A. Warrior. You. Are. As. Of. Right. Now. You. Would. Be. Around. A. Level. Thirty. Warrior."
"I see..."
I reengage him in combat.
"Huff... Huff... Hooh... Huff..."
Just like he said, I can't even scratch him.
"Suzuki. Sama. Do. You. Wish. To. Take. A. Break?"
"Yeah... Cocytus... I'm kinda... hungry..."
"..."
"What's up... Cocytus...?"
"Suzuki. Sama. Selfish. Though. This. May. Be. I. Have. A. Request."
"Sure, what is it?
"Can. You. Call. Me. Your. Uncle?"
Huh? Did I hear him right?
"You want me... to call you uncle?"
He shivered at my words.
"If. I. Offended. You. In. Anyway. Please. Punish. Me!"
"No no no, I'm not offended, just confused. Why do you want that?"
"Because. That. Is. My. Desire."
That really doesn't answer my question though.
"Well... Ok then uncle Cocytus, I would like to take a break."
His mandibles clicked and his tail wagged.
"Understood. Lord. Suzuki!"
"Man... What a day."
I'm currently being lead by Yuri Alpha to one of the many dining rooms this tomb has. Since this place is so rich, I bet the food here tastes super good too!
"Suzuki-sama, we have arrived."
Yuri opens the door to reveal a large room with 3 chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. In the middle of this room is a large wooden table with a table cloth on it, as well as 41 chairs sat around it.
"Yuri-san, who else will be eating with us?"
"Well, this room was made for the supreme beings, so naturally, no one else would eat here."
"Erm, wouldn't it get kinda lonely then? Where does everyone else eat?"
"The floor Guardians eat on their respective floors, but the servents have a separate cafeteria for themselves."
"Can we eat there then?"
"If it is your wish..."
Decrement POV:
Well, I have the answer to where Suzuki-sama went now, he's a kid! I know I shouldn't be thinking this, but now all of us maids can serve Suzuki-sama ten times better, so in a way this is a good thing. It sucks I'll have to wait 41 more days to serve him though.
Me and my colleagues are currently eating lunch in the cafeteria, discussing Suzuki-samas transformation.
"Ahh... I can't wait to serve Suzuki-sama! You girls think he'll let us dress him like he used to? Imagine how cute he'd look!"
"I personally want to be the maid on night duty, imagine how cute his sleeping face would be!"
"No, No, bringing him food and watching him eat is better. He would look way cuter then!"
These two have no clue what they're talking about. Dressing Suzuki-sama is infinitely better. Although the other two wouldn't be so bad either.
I take a bite out of my burger while listening to the two continue their conversation, when I suddenly see them pause, with their eyes focused intently behind me. I look back and see the door to the cafeteria open, with Yuri Alpha and Suzuki-sama peering in at us.
The cafeteria goes silent.
"Erm, Suzuki-sama... are you sure you want to eat here?"
"Why wouldn't I?"
"I just can't help but think there will be some... Complications when trying to find your seat."
"It'll be fine, you worry too much..."
No Suzuki-sama, I think her worry is justified.
"SUZUKI-SAMA!!!"
Countless maids start yelling at Suzuki-sama, attempting to convince him to sit with them. I am among these maids, obviously.
Yuri dons a worried look on her face, while Suzuki-sama looks overwhelmed.
"Yeah Yuri... I think I understand what you're talking about now... You pick a place for us to sit, there's too many options."
"How about there then?"
Shes pointing at my table! Oh my Supreme being! Yahoo! Suzuki-sama will sit with us... Suzuki-sama starts walking towards our table, visibly nervous.
"Hello... May I sit with you all?"
We gasp at the fact he asked such a question. Doesn't he know everything in the world is for him? The simple fact he's asking us maids a question like that shows that his unlimited kindness hasn't changed at all during his life.
"What do you mean Suzuki-sama, of course you can sit with us!"
"Indeed Suzuki-sama, you need not ask such questions, we are all at your disposal."
"Erm... Thanks..."
The rest of the maids look at this table in envy and disappointment, whilst grumbling and going back to their lunches.
"So, what would you all recommend?"
"The pesto."
"A hamburger."
"The ramen."
What are these girls talking about? The hamburgers here are the best, what a bunch of idiots.
"Personally Suzuki-sama, I would recommend the spaghetti."
Yuri makes a good point. Spaghetti is always a good choice.
"Sure then, I'll get spaghetti."
"I shall take your order to Head Chef." Yuri says, while elegantly getting up and moving away. She really is the definition of a maid isn't she...
Cixous starts in.
"So Suzuki-sama, how has your time in Nazarick been? Who's your favorite person? What did you do before you came here?"
"Erm, I've liked Nazarick for the most part, but the 'floors' are pretty confusing. And I like all of you equally, but if I had to choose someone, it would be Shizu-san."
Fith asks,
"Why did you decide to eat in the cafeteria?"
"Well I'd get lonely in the big place that Yuri brought me wouldn't I?"
Isn't Suzuki-sama just the cutest thing! Oh how I wish I could cuddle him... Its not fair Albedo-sama and Shizu get him all to their selves!
"Suzuki-sama... Do you still have your magical strength left?"
"I can copy most of the magic that Mare says, and Uncle Cocytus said I'm a level 30 warrior!"
He seems especially proud of that, Suzuki-samas smile is the best...
Wait a minute.
"Uncle Cocytus?" I say.
"Yes, Uncle Cocytus asked me to call him uncle, so I'm calling him uncle."
He's calling the guardians family?! How adorable!
"Suzuki-sama, forgive me for asking, but may I make a request?"
"Sure Cixous, what's up?"
"When Yuri comes back, can you call her oka-san?"
Suzuki-samas face has the slightest hint of sadness at the word 'oka-san', but he quickly recovers.
"Erm, sure I can do that..."
Ah this'll be great! We all know Yuri loves children, but having the most important child ever call her oka-san? Aw man her reaction'll be great!
Speak of the devil and she shall appear.
"Suzuki-sama, Head Chef is delighted a finally being able to make food for you, and he says it will be ready in a few minutes."
"Thanks for doing that, Oka-san!"
I'm sure if Yuri could blush, her face would be beet red right now. Her mouth opens and closes like a fish, she looks at us and then back to Suzuki-sama, then back to us.
"U-um, Absolutely S-Suzuki-sama, this is the bare minimum a maid should do..."
She sits down next to us, but this time she's noticeably more closer to Suzuki-sama. I also believe I heard her giggle, but perhaps it's my imagination.
"What's wrong Suzuki-sama? Do you not like it?"
"No no no no, it's just... I've never seen so much food on one plate before. Where I came from, food was very scarce."
Food being scarce... For a supreme being? Impossible. Unforgivable.
"Suzuki-sama... Whatever do you mean?"
"Exactly what I said, my world was so screwed up, there wasn't enough food to go around. At least, that's what my mom said."
Ah, Suzuki-samas mother... She did an outstanding job at raising such a cute child...
Ooh, Suzuki-samas going to eat now. He raises the spaghetti up to his mouth, chews it, and swallows it. Beads of tears start to form at the corner of his eyes.
"It's... So good! I've never had anything like this before! Never in a million years did I think that something could ever taste this amazing!"
He begins to shovel the spaghetti into his mouth faster and faster, devouring it in a couple bites.
"I'm glad you're pleased with it, Suzuki-sama."
5 hours later...
Suzuki POV:
Ahh... Baths really are the greatest. I haven't had a proper one in about a week. I'm currently drying myself off and getting ready for bed, even though I still want to explore this place.
There's some pajamas Oka-san placed on the bench that, once again, look way too expensive for a child like me. The sweatpants and undershirt are black, while the robe is also black, but with gold edging and purple accents. Pretty much like the other robes, but these are less showy.
It's sort of weird I had to order Oka-san to let me dress myself though. I walk out of the changing room into the hallway where Oka-san is waiting.
"Are you ready to go to your room Suzuki-sama?"
"Do we have to? There's still a bunch I want to check out!"
"No... we don't. But where else would you want to go at this hour?"
"Outside! Nature didn't really exist in my old world, I want to see the sky!"
"You will need more security other than me to go outside though, who would you like to take with you?"
"I do? Who would you recommend?"
"Personally, I would recommend Albedo-sama. Her defense is the highest in Nazarick."
Her? I'll get all embarrassed around her though...
"Erm... How about Pandora?"
"Ah, indeed he would be the better choice, forgive me for not seeing such an obvious thing. It seems even though your age has regressed, your intellect hasn't."
Why do I get the feeling there's a big misunderstanding here?
"Message. Pandora's Actor? Suzuki-sama is calling for you. Yes. Mhm. Please meet us at the 9th floors 4th bathroom."
After a few seconds a figure begins to form from the legs up in front of me. It was the distinctive shape and clothes of my 'son', Pandora's Actor.
"Er... Hallo Suzuki-sama, what would you need of THIS PANDORAS ACTOR!" He says while clicking his heels and saluting me. Ah... how cool...
"I wanna go outside, but Oka-san said I need security, so I chose you."
"Ah... Understood, mein vater, I shall schützen you to the best of my abilities. Well then, Yuri and Suzuki-sama, greifen Sie zu."
He grabs both me and Oka-san by the shoulder, and my vision goes black. Then, a few seconds later we're outside.
"This is... Beautiful... Fly"
I rise up into the air leaving Oka-san behind on the ground, whilst Pandora whispers 'fly' as well and slowly follows me up.
White, puffy clouds, unlike the grey, grimy, disgusting clouds that blanketed earth float in the air. The sky is a beautiful purple with millions, or maybe trillions of stars in it. On the ground are huge forests that stretch as far as the eye can see, with small towns dotting the horizon.
"Pandora..."
"Yes, Father?"
"How can something this beautiful exist?" I say, breathing in a huge breath of fresh air.
"I'm afraid I can't answer that question Father."
"No no, it was rhetorical."
"Ahhh..."
There were ALOT of misunderstandings weren't there?
"Father, I should let you know what this tomb is working towards for you."
"What's that?"
"World domination."
"Huh?? Why!?"
World domination!? What the hell other me...
"Because you wanted the world Father. The guardians take everything you will say literally, so be careful with what you tell them."
"Is that so..."
This is gonna be a pain.
"Well Pandora, let's go fly around a bit!"
"Okay Father!"
1 hour later...
"Ahh, that was fun..."
"Are you ready to retire for the night Suzuki-sama?"
"Sure, Oka-san. Take us back Pandora."
"Of course, Sssssuzuki-sama!"
"You can call me 'Father' around others y'know?"
"Of course, Ffffffather!"
He teleports us in front of a large, royal looking set of double doors made out of wood.
"And now Father, I must be on my way. I have quite the few meetings to attend, and menschen to talk to! Aú revoìr, Father!"
He does a 360 spin on one leg, and disappears in a blue light.
Oka-sans eyebrows are raised, along with a slight frown on her lips.
"He's quite the enigma..."
"Pandora's the coolest! Ah how I wish I could wear his clothes..."
Oka-san gives me a worried look, and says,
"Suzuki-sama... I don't think you should spend alot of time around him, it could affect your growth."
"Ehhh... But he's so cool!"
"If you say so, Suzuki-sama... Now then. I'm afraid this is where we part, Suzuki-sama, I must go attend to my other duties. However, a maid will come in later tonight to attend to any needs you may have."
"R-right..."
A maid sneaking in at night? That's kinda weird...
"Good night, Oka-san!"
I give her a hug and walk into my room, letting the doors shut behind me.
In the middle of this dimly lit room is a large king like bed, with purple sheets and wooden poles connecting to the top part of the frame, where thin veils hang. Purple curtains line the walls of this room, and there's a desk infront of another shut door. There also seems to be a small lump underneath the sheets of my bed. Well, small when you consider the size of everything in this room.
"Um, hello? Person in my bed?"
The sheets start to move. Out pops a orange haired head. I know this head. It's Shizu-san!
"Erm... Shizu-san... Why are you in my bed?"
"Because Sebas-sama and Demiurge-sama told me to stay here tonight, so that way Albedo-sama and Shalltear-sama doesn't take advantage of you."
Eh? Advantage of me? How embarrassing.
"Is that so? Are they what My mother called per-vur-tz?"
"Indeed, Albedo-sama and Shalltear-sama are perverts."
"Ahh... I see. Well, where will I sleep?"
"In your bed."
"But you're sleeping there?"
"Indeed, we will sleep together."
"S-s-s-shizu-san??? Are you sure you aren't a pervert???"
"I am not. However, it's boring sleeping alone. So, sleep with me."
"Alright then..."
Shes right of course, sleeping alone is boring, but that's why I had teddy bears! But Shizu-san is a living person... How embarrassing!
I climb into bed and face away from her, but she quickly pulls me into a cuddling position. A few minutes pass, and Shizu begins,
"Did you enjoy Nazarick?"
"Yep, it was fun. Yuri-Oka-san and Uncle Cocytus were very nice."
"Yuri... Oka-san?"
"Mhm."
"I see. Well, Suzuki-sama you have a busy day ahead of you. Get lots of sleep."
She pats me on the head thrice, and before long I can hear her rythmic breathing, indicating that she's asleep.
"Goodnight... *yawn* Shizu-san...", I whisper, before drifting off into unconsciousness myself.
So, there you have it! Shota Suzuki number 3...
Pandora really is the best, isn't he?
Now then, I know this took quite a while to come out with, and the next one will probably take even longer, BUT, I do not plan on abandoning this fic, EVER. I have big plans for it. I do however, want to work on another fanfiction I think you all will like, it's obviously about overlord. So, as always, leave comments and criticism!
