Ichigo's POV

"Did you hear?" "Yeah, they say that the girl that Henri-sensei recruited is a phony, that she isn't talented enough to attend St. Marie" "She's also dumb and clumsy" "Like, what was Henri-sensei even thinking when he recruited her?" "Maybe he's also a phony" "Shhh~ look it's her" "Kaori-chan is also a transfer but at least she is skilled" "Hahahaha~"

As I walked through the somewhat crowded hallway I saw some girls murmuring, but they fell at it since I could hear what they were saying about Henri-sensei and me. I sighed annoyingly and depressingly because I knew what they said about me was true but how dare they disrespect Henri-sensei!

"Ignore them Ichigo! Just concentrate on your work" Vanilla popped out my uniform pocket trying to cheer me up "I try Vanilla, I do but l keep failing my classes, tests, and lately I've also been having low grades in baking sweets!" I told Vanilla slowly raising my voice as I finish "Firstly, you always have been bad in your classes, and don't get me started in tests-" "VANILLA YOU~!" "but it is weird that you've been failing in cooking class, I mean you've improved greatly, thanks to me, but lately your sweets end up being underdone, too sweet or burnt, and when you make a delicious, perfectly sweet you end up having an accident and end up destroying it" "Well I'm sorry for being clumsy" "That is the thing, I have a weird feeling that someone is messing with you Ichigo"

Vanilla was now flying next to me pensive with her chibi arms crossed "But who would 'mess' with me Vanilla?" "I don't know, but what I do know is that this is a work for 'Detective Vanilla!', don't you worry Ichigo, I will solve this case in no time!" Vanilla said wearing a detective outfit that came out of nowhere "I'll be counting on you, 'Detective Vanilla'" I told her finishing our conversation to now enter my first class of the day, hoping it will be a happy, positive day, but… I was so wrong.

-Lunch Time-

"Hurry up Ichigo, the cafeteria is going to be full and we won't be able to get a table!" Rumi yelled from the class door "I'm going!" I yelled back while packing my things and ran to the door.

Vanilla's POV

I woke up and flew out Ichigo's open front desk rubbing my eyes "Ichigo are we going to get lunch yet?" "Mmmm, Ichigo?"... 'Oh no, she forgot about me!' I mentally screamed and while I cursed Ichigo about leaving me behind I heard someone opening the class door, at first I thought it was Ichigo but then I saw Kaori and Velvet entering the class and closing it, I quickly and quietly hid in a random open front desk.

"I can't believe it's actually working! Ichigo has surely heard the rumors by now" Velvet said 'So Kaori and Velvet were the ones who are ruining Ichigo's baking, created and spread that rumor too! I have to tell Ichigo' I thought while peeking from the desk. "Now, it's only a matter of time for Ichigo to be unwanted and ignored by everyone she cares about and for me to be the star of this Academy!" Kaori said evilly.

"Since the day I was given a tour through the school and got a glimpse of the cooking class and saw the sweet prince I knew that I had to be and make that group mine-" Kaori said happily and dreamily "but that girl Ichigo is in MY WAY!" Kaori yelled hitting a desk "Calm down Kaori" Velvet tried and continued to say "Don't worry, I as your Sweet Spirit and partner promised that I would help your dreams come true and make you number 1 in the Academy, and that is what I'm going to do" she said confidently that it scared me because that meant they would do anything in order to make Ichigo miserable and quit making sweets! 'Oh no! I have to warn Ichigo!'

I waited until they were finished talking and left the classroom for me to leave unnoticed. Swiftly I started flying fast, I turned on the corners, I dodged and hid from students in the hallway until I saw Ichigo who was halfway in the stairs. "ICHIGO~!" -twack- dum dum dum-bum- 'Uh-oh… Meh, Ichigo's fine, she's used to it' I mentally shrugged.

Ichigo's POV

While we walked to the cafeteria, the girls and I were talking about the new cake the cafe was selling, I wanted to see Vanilla's reaction to the news but when I opened my bag I saw no Sweet Spirit, -blink blink- "EHH!" I shouted surprised and worried "Ichigo what happened?" Kana asked shocked, 'Where is Vanilla!' I thought "Oh, I'm sorry, It's just that Vaniiiii~lla cockies? Yeah! I forgot some Vanilla cookies in class, so I'm going back to get them" I told them flustered while pointing behind me and slowly backing away "Ok, well don't be late or you won't GET ANY LUNCH!" Rumi shouted "DON'T WORRY!" I shouted back running back to the class.

-5min later-

I was halfway in the staircase when suddenly "ICHIGO~!" -twack- dum dum dum-bum- "Ah tatata, Vanilla, what the-" I said rubbing my behind but I was cut off "Ichigo I know who has been spreading those rumors and the cause of your failure in cooking class!" "Wha-How?" I said standing up "Hehe, I great detective never reveals her secrets" Vanilla says doing a Nike sign and putting it on her chin "Detective my peach, you slept without a care in the world!" I yelled pointing at her "How dare you! And here I am doing you a favor" she said mad and giving me her back "-sigh- I'm sorry Vanilla, it's just that I was so worried when I saw that you weren't in my bag" "I'm sorry to Ichigo" Vanilla apologized turning around and uncrossed her arms. "So who was it? How did you find out?" "Well after you left me..."

-30min later-

"And that's how the Great Detective Vanilla solved the case!" she said proudly. By now I was sitting on the stairs while Vanilla finished telling me how Kaori- I mean Miura and Velvet tried and still want to sabotage me… I can't believe Miura is doing all this! "We have to tell Kashino and the rest!" I said standing up, determined to put a stop to Miura's evil schemes. "I'm with you Ichigo! Let's go!" Vanilla cheered "Let's tell them after school outside the cooking class"

-After school-

Vanilla and I were nearing the spot the group agreed to meet but before we turned to the corner I stopped "What happened Ichigo?" "Sshhh" I told Vanilla. "Do you guys know why Ichigo wants to talk to us?" Hanabusa-kun asked Kashino and Andou-kun "I have no idea what that girl wants to tell us but I also have something to say." Kashino said "Oh, yeah? What is it" Andou-kun asked "You guys all know how the Cake Grand Prix is just around the corner?" "Yeah, so?" Hanabusa-kun questioned confused "SO, I was thinking how about Miura is the Grand Prix group leader?"

'What is Kashino talking about? He wants Miura to be the group's leader? They want to...replace me?!' -drip drip-"Huh, Wha-?... I-Ichigo" Vanilla looked at me worried, I rubbed my eyes trying to get rid of my tears "I'm sorry Vanilla, I-" I started but was cut off by Andou who startled both of us.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?!" Andou-kun shouted "BE QUIET! And No, I'm not crazy, I just think that we need Miura for the Grand Prix" Kashino said with crossed arms "Why do you think that Kashino?" Hanabusa-kun asked upset "Just hear me out, Amano HAS improved...but not enough to win the Grand Prix, compared to Miura, she lacks basic baking knowledge in baking she would only hold us back and if we don't do something we might lower groups and Group A will be no more" Kashino said.

"So you all think I'm a nuisance?" I said not taking it anymore, I had to make myself notice "Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying, wait WHAT?" Kashino said turning around all three boys looking at me surprised and shocked "NO! Ichigo we didn't-" "SHUT UP! I-I thought you were my friends!" I said cutting off Hanabusa-kun "We are! It's just-" "Then talking behind my back and replacing me is what friends do?!" Andou-kun started but I cut him off "What amazing friends you guys are" I said turning around running towards the woods crying hot, mad tears 'How could they! Hanabusa! Andou!...Kashino! You! YOU!' "JERKS~!"
