Olivia was lying on the cold floor, her eyes searching the room, but it was hard to see because the lightbulb didn't give enough light to lit the whole area and she was still dizzy, weak and her vision was blurry, also probably because her concussion, that paired with alcohol isn't a good thing. The same question kept going on in her head, what is this place, where am I? What is he gonna do to me? She felt the emptiness starting to pour onto her body. Is he gonna leave me her to die like this? Are they gonna find my body violated and rotten? Brian is dead, are they really looking for me? No of course they are, but do they actually have anything to trace? William was good at this and it wasn't easy to trace or find him unless he wanted to be found.
That was probably her last thought because she passed out soon after due to being drunk, beaten and tired.
Later, in the very early morning, William came back to the basement. Some light was shining inside from the doorway and he could see all her bruises, she looked terrible, honestly. He stood there looking at her for a while, thinking. Oh how he would love to rape her right now, hard and roughly like some animal. But he won't do it yet, it's not the time. Olivia is not traumatised enough and still had too much hope for things that would never happen according to him. She was still in the same state as he left her, with arms cuffed behind her back. William walked towards her and quickly cuffed her arms together on the front now.
He woke her up by a hard slap across her face "Hey!"
The shock Olivia experienced when she was woken up by a hard slap that left her face painfully numb, left her heart pounding fast, almost as if it were to jump out of her chest. Her eyes opened sharply and she saw it wasn't just a nightmare, it was real. It was a heavy tall crazy psychopath who haunted women of the whole country staring right at her. "There she is. Big beautiful brown eyes." William whispered with a smirk as he pressed against her torn lip with his finger. Olivia hissed slightly, not wanting to show any sign of pain to satisfy him.
William took a tape from his pocket and tapped Olivia's legs together so she couldn't kick him then he grabbed a rope he brought in and attached it over a wooden pilar that was hanging horizontally from the ceiling. Olivia watched him. Was this supposed to scare her? She thought, he's already tortured her, does he think he's gonna break her this way? Watching him tape her legs together. Shame, she would love to kick his face in. He probably didn't want to take any more chances after she already attacked him like two times. William pulled her up and attached her arms to the rope hanging. She was on her tip toes, swinging back and forth, she tried to bounce from her tiptoes to swing and kick him but it wasn't hard enough. Olivia growled with this failed attempt and he watched her amusingly. She looked up, her hair strands in her face covering most of it but you could still see her angry look "You're so insecure, William" she said "You have to tie me up to actually do something to me. I thought you like fun? Resisting? Overpowering me? Why don't you untie me then?" Olivia wanted to provoke him into untying her or make him angry so he would make a mistake. In the end the whole time that's been her plan, because that's the only way she could escape. But it took a different turn than she had hoped.
William felt his blood boil. Oh how dare she. He pulled her hair hard, making her head bend backwards. "Oh I'll untie you you fucking worthless bitch. Just not yet. You haven't seen half of what I'm capable of." He hissed and let her go. William picked up a blowtorch, observing it with his psychotic eyes and smirk on his face. Olivia was looking at him "What are you going to do, hm?" she wanted to sound so strong and make him feel like she's not scared of him at all, but she was.
William turned it on, pulled her shirt up and started burning her stomach. At first just for a second.
Olivia took a deep breath but didn't make a sound. William loved to see her struggle to keep it in "You're a tough one, aren't you?" He said and laughed. Every victim of his would already scream at the touch of his finger, but when Olivia screams you know it's real.
William put it against her stomach again and again each time a little longer and closer to her skin. Olivia screamed in pain, she fought so hard against it but no one would win, no matter how strong they are. It started as whimper then yelp and now she was screaming in agony. Feeling like her skin is peeling off of her bones and muscles. He felt himself getting hard on her screams and mutilated body. The smell of burned skin and hair filled the room. He kicked her ass, making her whole body tense as she was swinging back and forth. The handcuffs were digging into her wrists, leaving purple marks. But it was nothing compared to what she was feeling on her stomach. William cut the ropes and she fell to the ground. He bent down to her and moved some hair out of her face "You're nothing." William whispered into her ear. She was breathing fast against the pain, starting to feel really terrible, not just because of pain but she was thirsty and dizzy and nauseous. If he wasn't there with her right now she would probably break down in tears, but not in front of him. She was still in the same position and not moving because every movement meant pain. But it wasn't just the pain, it was also humiliating and she hated that he finally got what he wanted, to see her in pain and fear.
He grabbed her hand and put it on his pants, on the place where his hard dick was. "This is what your pain does to me Olivia." He said playfully and he made her squeeze it a bit. His other hand slipped inside her pants at which Olivia flinched, pulling her body away from him despite the pain.
"I don't think you're aware of how serious I am about you." William said as he started running his hand over her vagina. Olivia turned her face away with disgust, not giving him the privilege to see the look on her face.
"This is NOT a game. It's your FUTURE. Who says I won't keep you in here for the rest of your life? Nobody is looking for you anyway. I went into town when you were out." He lied, "you weren't in the newspapers at all even though I thought you would be. You weren't even on the news on television." He needed her to feel hopeless. "This is your life now." William said as he pulled his hand out of her pants and smiled.
Olivia didn't believe him, maybe she didn't have a family to care about her but colleagues from work who after 15 years were like her family and she knew they would try their best to find her. Her mind wandered to one special person though. Elliot. The person who was closest to her heart.
Elliot and all the women William hurt kept her going.
They need justice. I'm a cop who was supposed to get him and get them the justice they deserve but now I'm just one of his victims. Thoughts kept racing through her head.
"I'll be back with some water or vodka, depending on how you behave." William said as he got up.
"Water..." Olivia whispered. "Please" she added quietly as he left.
When William got back, he bent down to Olivia again and lifted her chin up to pour some water into her mouth. She chugged the water holding her breath, knowing this is a rare opportunity to drink as much as she could. It immediately made her feel a bit better. "I need a toilet." Olivia murmured.
"Right, it's been long. All the vodka huh?" William grinned and pulled out her gun from behind of his belt and put it against her chin "Try something and you're dead" he cut the tape from her legs and pulled her up by her arm, dragging her upstairs. Olivia was mapping the bits of the house she could see, figuring out her way out. When they arrived to the bathroom, Olivia looked around "No toilet paper?" William rolled his eyes, this house was old and not occupied for quite some time, he couldn't think of everything, especially not this. Normally he wouldn't care if she would pee herself in the basement, but he has lots of plans with her and woman covered in piss wasn't exactly appalling to him. He turned around to look in a small cabinet.
This was it, her chance, the mistake she's been waiting for so long. He let his guard down for a second. As soon as William turned his back towards her, Olivia grabbed the nearest heavy thing, a big old vase with some red artificial flowers in it, her hands were still handcuffed together but managed to hit his head with it as hard as she could. It broke against his head and William fell down on his knees. Olivia knew his high pain tolerance so she didn't wanna lose any second and immediately ran towards the main door. She was a bit disoriented because of how much time she spent inside that dark basement, but thanks to the analysis she did first thing when he brought her in she knew where the door was, it wasn't locked. Another mistake of his? She thought but wasn't complaining. Olivia ran outside, it was just lots of land and woods. She wasn't sure which way to go, but chose to run to the left, already admitted to herself that she didn't remember which way he brought her. Olivia was running as fast as she could but felt her head getting dizzy again. The burning pain on her stomach brought tears into her eyes with every move.
William felt his head throbbing, what the fuck? He noticed blood dripping down, but didn't really care about it. He ran the same way as her following her footsteps. William felt dumb, stupid and like a complete idiot. Of course he shouldn't trust her when she started to obey him, what was he thinking? This wasn't supposed to happen. He doubted if he'll be able to handle himself this time and not kill her yet.
Olivia kept running but with every step she felt her knees becoming weaker. She kept looking behind her to see if he's not following her but she only saw the blurry house behind her until her knees finally gave in and she fell on her knees to ground, which made her stop for a second and look around, feeling lost but she stood up and continued to run but soon her hopeful eyes turned into a disappointed look. Olivia saw a tall metal fence, ran towards it, hitting herself against and putting her fingers into the holes "No!" she yelled out "Fuck you William" she yelled out again angrily. She put so much effort into this, the freedom was so close, she could feel it on the tips of her fingers, she started shaking with the fence angrily, obviously not really helping but she was hopeless. But this wasn't gonna break her, no, she felt the fresh air, it reminded her what it feels like to be alive and free so she put her feet in the holes and trying to pull herself up to climb the fence. She kept being paranoid expecting him to shoot her any moment or feel his hand on her neck, he truly made her feel crazy. Olivia kept looking behind if she won't see William coming to get her but she didn't see anything, maybe he was still out? or couldn't walk? She hit him pretty hard in the end, she had no idea but wasn't taking any chances.
In the far distance William saw Olivia trying to climb up the fence.
"Olivia!" He screamed, angrier than ever before. She wanted to pull herself up when suddenly felt his barbaric hands gripping her waist.
William pulled her from the fence and threw her on the ground. "YOU CAN'T GET AWAY FROM ME OLIVIA!"
He picked her up by her neck and armpit and then threw her on the ground again, as if she was a ragged doll. "YOU BELONG TO ME NOW. THERE'S NO GETTING AWAY!"
William was raging. He kicked and beat her, possibly fracturing a couple of her bones. Olivia kept trying to defend herself but was almost zoning out, as her mind was probably trying to save her from the terror her body had to endure. She had tears in her eyes, not necessarily because of pain but she couldn't believe this is happening to her. Then he grabbed her face, squeezing her cheeks. "You belong to ME. And women who belong to me, OBEY ME."
William hit her head with a gun leaving her unconscious this time.
Immediately dragging her back to the house and handcuffing her to a bed in the bedroom, her mouth taped again.
Olivia woke up after a few hours, the awful throbbing pain all over her body, especially her head made her wish she didn't. She observed the room with her eyes quickly and pulled the handcuffs so hard, digging into her skin again. Olivia kicked against the bed with her legs, really, trying any way how to get out of the cuffs otherwise she would go crazy just lying there, it felt like forever.
"You're lucky I didn't kill you." William emerged from the corner of the room, making her flinch at sound of the beast's cold voice and pulling the tape off her mouth harshly.
William crawled on the top of her body, pressing on her injuries and burns, wasn't pleasant at all and even the fact just being this restrained, felt terribly claustrophobic. His breathing, his voice, it was all disgusting to her and all she could think about was that she wanted to scream - get off me, don't touch me - but she didn't, it wouldn't work. "I know you don't actually want to kill me, William. I actually think you should keep me. I know what you like." Olivia smiled softly with empty look in her eyes. Was this her new way of trying to stay alive? Did she even want to be alive knowing what he might do to her?
What was she doing? This wasn't what was supposed to happen. "Oh yeah?" William asked and smiled back at her. Maybe this new plan of his wasn't working out the way it was supposed to? Maybe the impersonal torture would've hurt her more than trying to get into her mind. Did he just make a big mistake in changing his tactics? I hope not.. he thought. He was going to destroy her completely. Until all hope fade her body and soul, until she had nothing left to live for anymore. William felt his breathing get heavier and heavier, he didn't know how much longer he could handle doing this without completing bursting and physically shredding her into pieces. Olivia was staring deep into his eyes with amused look on her face, it was a mixture of angry and flirting look, you couldn't really tell which one it is. "I read all of your files, I know what you did to them. What was it the two girls in the woods? Oh yes right they found them dead, one tied up by her wrists hanging from ceiling, the other one had to listen what you were doing to her for two days. Did you even sleep?" Her eyebrows raised. It almost seemed like she was interested in him. "Oh I don't need to sleep. You'll see for yourself, soon. It's who I am, Olivia. Seeing people in pure terror is what I live for. They always wonder, 'will I make it out alive?' And to be honest, that's what makes it all so interesting. Because, will they? When you watch women suffer you learn a lot about them. It's interesting, really." William looked at her with a smirk on his face. "Why don't you untie me so I can show you how useful I can be?" Olivia raised her eyebrows again a hopeful way but didn't get the response she wanted. William got angry. "Don't try your little mind games! Do you think I'm stupid?!" he yelled right in her face and pulled out a gun, placing it deep into her mouth.
He's going to kill me. It's not true your whole life flashes before your eyes, you can't actually recall much, but you can see all the things you will never do again you love doing, when she ate her favourite meal, watched her favourite movie, watched the sunset, read a book, took a walk in nature, all the tiny things people do daily but take for granted. All the people you'll leave, especially Elliot. She didn't have anyone else. She didn't have children even though she wanted one so badly. Brian was dead. Elliot left her but he was on her mind everyday. Some tears fell down her face "I just want to live" she murmured against the gun, fighting away the tears "I'll do anything..."
William nodded angrily. "Yeah, you will." he put the gun behind his belt again and started unbuttoning her pants.
Olivia flinched against his touch, trying to kick and get away but she was handcuffed and couldn't do much. Her face was all scrunched up, whimpering in fear "No, no" He's not going to do this to her. He won't break her soul, change her spirit, she didn't want to live through this. You'd think the actual act is the worst part and it is but the aftermath when you feel so disgusted of your own body, never feeling like yourself again. Like something's been taken, damaged. No matter how hard he'd beat her or brainwash her, she'd never stop fighting. Suddenly she heard some people, laughing and talking outside. Little fire of hope lit up inside her and she looked to the side, where the door was. It was almost like some higher power in the sky or wherever it was, is giving her a chance. Olivia didn't waste any seconds "HEEEEELP!!!!" She cried out as loud as she could with her broken voice, making anyone who would hear it get goosebumps.
Williams eyes widened. No, no, no, "NO!" He screamed frustrated and slapped Olivia hard across the face. He then put his hand over her mouth, breathing heavily. How did these people even found this place? William grabbed tape from his drawer and taped her mouth shut to keep her from screaming. "I'm going to check out what the fuck this is and YOU stay here. He grabbed his gun and went out. Seeing few people between the age of 17-19 hanging around, smoking and laughing. 6 teenagers. Worthless scum. "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING HERE?! IT'S PRIVATE PROPERTY!" William yelled. They've been going here all summer? The rage took him over and he began shooting.
Innocent people are going to die because of me. How stupid are you?! Olivia almost yelled at herself inside her head. First Brian, now more innocent people. Who else is going to die because of her? She was so selfish to scream for help, she should have known that he would do this. Her heart broke with each gunshot, making her twist and turn in bed with anger.
Some ran away, but two of them fell down. William paced towards them to check, one of them was still alive, a girl. He grabbed her by her arms and dragged her inside. She was bleeding from the right side of her stomach. "Who..who are you?" The pale girl whispered as he tied her up with ropes and brought into the bedroom to Olivia.
"Look what you did, Olivia. Your selfish screaming for help killed a bunch of teenagers." William smiled looking down at the girl. "You are going watch as I enjoy this one. Sounds fair?"
Olivia shook her head, staring at the poor girl bleeding out on the floor. She was whimpering against the tape on her mouth. Olivia never meant for this to happen. To hurt anyone.
"At least it's not you, sweetheart. But your time will come." William grinned again and threw the girl on the bed next to Olivia. He pulled up the girl's skirt and with gun to Olivia's head, started to rape her. Forcing Olivia to watch and hear the poor girl's screams. It didn't take long and Olivia fainted, both from her own injuries and the trauma she just witnessed.
