Chapter 3
A few minutes later, Zoisite walked upstairs to check if Mercury is alright after the tantrum towards Jack over their perspectives towards how to deal with Youmas when they were in danger.
" Ami, can I come in?" Zoisite asked.
" Did Jack left?"
" He left, Ami."
" Why killing is his hobby, doesn't he know how to purify a Youma?" Mercury sniffed.
" His powers only kill people, Ami. He told me about it."
" Are you trying to defend this killer?"
" No, Ami! Listen to me."
" You were working with this killer here, who killed the Youma in the district here!"
" Ami! What are you talking about! You're making things worse! And plus I didn't even know this guy here, and did you ever see him with me, when I was brainwashed by Beryl?"
" When I was crying alone in the bedroom, you were going out with him?"
" I just took him to the backyard, and told him that you don't like to see Jack killing people…." Zoisite said as he lowered his head.
" You told him? For real?"
" Ami, you know ever since Usagi saved me, I swore myself not to lie at anyone."
" I'm glad to hear that, Zoisite."
" Yes. Ami, So can I come in now?"
" Ok."
" Ami, you feel better now?"
" A little."
" When he came back, you should apologise to him.
" I don't think I'm wrong. He should have known when he first met us. It's all his fault."
" But you need to calm yourself? I was surprised when I see you slapped Jack so hard, Do you really have to be that agitated?"
" Because I was frustrated that why I can't save the Youma earlier than him."
" It's not your fault, I didn't know Jack was already there in the scene."
" I should have stopped him…."
" Shh Shh, It's ok, Ami, don't cry." Zoisite said as he rubbed her back.
Jack lied on the bed of his hotel room, resting his head on his arms.
" I just have to kill this Youma from my own hands! What was Mercury thinking at that moment? If I don't kill it, how can King know that I want regain my job? But if I don't find a place to live, I may need to be rescued by Mercury and Zoisite again, if I killed a Youma , then Mercury would be mad at me once more. What should I do?"
He washed his face as he looked at the bathroom mirror.
" Sailor Senshi….. interesting. Seems this district has heroines inside, Hope one day I can meet them. Zoisite said he was a past enemy to Mercury, does he means they were lovers in the past? I think I'll just rest in my bed and apologise to her tomorrow." He stepped out of the bathroom ,murmured as he put a blanket on his chest and slept peacefully in his bed.
The next morning, Mercury and Zoisite both woke up as they brushed their teeth, holding their rinsing cups and gurgled.
" Sleep well? Ami?"
" Yes."
" Are you still thinking of Jack?"
" I think I shouldn't be that angry at that time…"
" Yep, so if he came back, apologize to him and talk properly."
" I know what to do, Zoisite."
As Expected, A doorbell rung after the conversation ended. When Mercury opened the door , she saw Jack looking at her , his hands were pressing his both sides on his waists. She doesn't know whether he was still mad at her sudden tantrum and whether the pain of her slap was still on his face , as she touched his cheek lightly.
" Jack, is your face alright?"
" The Pain worn off yesterday, I'm alright."
" About last night, I didn't mean to slap you that hard."
" It's ok. I know I shouldn't kill a Youma at that time."
" Jack, I should be the one to apologise, I know you were the first time that land on the Juuban district, so many people will have an instinctive reaction of killing it."
" I will be more careful from now on."
" So, let's be friends , and continue on the rules on living with us?"
" Sure, Mercury."
They shook hands as they make a special friendship with a human from a different universe.
" So Jack, are you willing to listen to my rules after that?"
" Yes, Mercury."
Then they sat at the living room as usual.
" Jack san, besides never kill a Youma, you need to know that Zoisite is my boyfriend, never sleep with me, I don't want Zoisite to break up with me."
" Ok."
" If you want to go out, you have to go with me."
" What about me, Ami?"
" You look after Jack, if he did something wrong , remind him."
Jack had no idea he could be disciplined by those humans. He remembered when he was young, his parents would taught him the basic rules before training.
" I can't go out by myself?"
" No, you have to go with me."
" Ok. Understood."
" Don't break the rules or else we won't let you stay inside."
" Ok."
" Guess I'll just live in this apartment for a while, I wonder what is brother Seven and my younger brother Taro doing in the Land Of Light? Hope they could convince my King to regain my job. But this place looks better than the one when Kunzite applied me on the hotel room, so does my bedroom in the land of light, it's full with granite that I can't even fell asleep that easily." Jack thought as he looked at the house.
" What's the matter, Jack? You are not familiar with human life, aren't you?"
" Sort Of. I usually sleep in my bedroom, it was full with granite, I can't even sleep comfortably."
" Me too, When I was killed, I laid down motionless, I can't even move a single muscle."
" Killed?that's bad."
" Beryl was so strict that she executed me, and I died in front of Kunzite."
" Kunzite? A gemstone?"
" One Of the Shitennou, he is with me."
" Kunzite likes you so much at that time, I think."
" But since Kunzite revived , now he needs to go back to his lover."
" So , I assume one of the Sailor Senshi was his lover?"
" Yep. Want to guess who?"
" Hmmm, not sure. Could you tell me who were the Sailor Senshi?"
" I only know the Inner senshi, because we were the ones to fight against Usagi and the others."
" Just give me the ones you know."
" Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Mars, choose one."
" Is it Jupiter?"
" No."
" Uh, Mars?"
" No."
" Don't tell me , is it Venus?"
" Yep."
" She also known as Sailor V, which is like a prologue of Sailor Moon."
" You mean Venus has a second identity called Sailor V?"
" I heard from Venus one time when I hang out with Kunzite and her."
" Wow. I didn't know about that."
" So Do you have a second identity , Jack?"
" No. nor did my brothers ."
" Do your brothers fell in love with human or not?"
" How come? I'm from the Land Of Light, King told us never fall in love with a human , or he might ground us. "
" King Endymion didn't even ground us, after falling in love with the senshi, including me."
" Then you have to be grateful that he was kind hearted, I've been fired because My King caught me kissing a girl."
" Oh my, your King was very strict…."
" And what's worse, he gushed a coffee on my face."
" Really? Does your King really have to be that hot tempered?"
" His personality is like that, if we broke the rules of being an Ultra, he would definitely gush a coffee."
" Oh…. That's bad for you, have you think of quitting your job?"
" No, Zoisite. If I quit my job, then I'm done, I don't want to get expelled, because my brothers are with me."
Mercury then changed to her PJs as she walked down to the living room.
" What are you guys talking about?"
" Oh, Nothing, like talking about what we did on the free time."Jack said
" Jack, are you alright, seems you are upset of something?" Mercury asked.
" We were talking about how our kings treat us, And Ami , his King gushed coffee to his face." Zoisite said.
" Gushed a cup of coffee? How can your King be that cruel?"
" It's hard to explain, Ami."Jack replied .
" Jack, Maybe you live with us for a few months, wait until your King calmed himself, then you go back to the Land Of Light."
" My brothers are working on it."
" That's good to know. Zoisite I think it's almost time for us to go out and buy some groceries. Jack, take care of yourself! Remember what I said today!"
" Take Care!"
" Maybe, i'll call Brother Seven and Taro later, they won't scold me because of my late reply." Jack thought.
So he sat on the couch to live his new life at their house, leaving no nostalgia and emotion to The Land of Light, the place where his brothers and himself ; Ultraman, Zoffy, Seven , Ace and Taro, that lived for tons of decades. Now it's for him to decide whether he continue living on Earth or not.
