Chapter 3: S stands for…? | An Unexpected Apology
Tsuyu certainly didn't get a wink of sleep last night, for many reasons. One was that she was caring for a possibly dying Izuku- Even if she sutured the cut closed, there was no telling how well she had done it. She was never the best at 'On-Scene Medical Application' training, after all. As well, there was the looming threat of a Nomu kicking down a door and mutilating them were she not cautious. The frog made sure to check if she was being followed, though that is rendered useless in the presence of scent tracking Quirks or Clairvoyance quirks.
Even when her body had passed for a few minutes due to lack of sleep, she usually always got right back up and continued to hold the fort down. Fear was building up in her gut, tightening around her heart like a vice. She saw what that Banderhobb Nomu- Kurogiri- was able to do. He literally wiped the floor with him, then cleaved through the armor that even a pressurized stream of water wasn't able to sever! That… Thing is probably capable of razing an entire city if it felt like it! Maybe even take on All-Might in his prime, or, hell, all the Pro Heroes and probably walk away victorious!
Tsuyu let out a muted 'eeee!' as her legs lost all energy, causing her to hit the floor. Her limbs were shaky- Both from the lack of any sort of shut-eye, and from the constant paranoia she had been dealing with all night. Always walking over to the windows of her apartment to make sure that no one had found the right one she lived in, always walking over to make sure the door was locked, always walking over to make sure Izuku wasn't dead. While not strenuous activities, the fact that she was always under the constant fear of her and her guest's life made them feel like triathlons. After taking a few hesitant deep breaths, she eventually picked herself back up onto her feet, headed to the kitchen to make some food for herself… Until she realized that she left the groceries out on the goddamn street. Slapping her hands on either side of her head in frustration, Tsuyu groaned out in frustration.
'There went 6000 Yen in groceries…' She thought to herself in annoyance, before she resigned herself to just have some coffee. It won't do much for sustenance, but it'll at least give her the energy to make another trip to the store- Wait. What about Izuku…? Looking to the still injured vigilante, her brain, thanks to the coffee, went into overtime. Firing on all cylinders, she eventually took out her phone and scrolled down a list of contacts, stopping at the one listed as 'Mina-Chan' with stars surrounding it. Froppy knew that Mina would agree to help her, but… Was it fair to her to drag her into all of this without even giving a proper explanation? But, on the other hand, she could simply wait until all of her supplies run dry, then risk the possibility of leaving Deku alone in her apartment while she gets more stuff. Mulling over her options, she eventually taps Mina's contact, and then calls her.
The phone trilled a few times- After the third ring, Tsuyu was getting a bit concerned… Until the sound of someone picking up their phone was heard from the other side.
"Tsu-Chaaaaaaaaan… Why're you calling me this early in the morniiiiiinnngggg….?" The pink pro hero bemoaned, anguish tainting her voice as Tsuyu clearly woke her up from her sleep. Checking the time, she was shocked to learn that it was only 5:56 AM- She thought that it was 8 AM by this time! A little embarrassed in herself for not checking the time for calling, she eventually found her voice.
"M-Mina-Ch-Chan, I need you t-to come over here a-"
"Sheesh, Tsu-Chan… You sound like crap. You doing alright?" She interrupted. Tsuyu grimaced angrily, seeing as how she clearly was not listening to her.
"No, not really," The frog answered, before continuing on, "But I need your help, p-please. I need you to look over someone… His name is Izuku-"
"Hold on, hold on, hold on… You have a boy at your place? Hah! Didn't think you had it in ya, Froppy, but, I'm proud-" Tsuyu has officially reached her limit for right now. Usually, her bar was much, much higher, but with everything that happened? She can barely tolerate Mina's usual banter and chatter. Slamming a hand on a nearby faux-marble counter, the sound seemed to snap Mina out of her ramblings as Asui took a few short breaths to calm herself down.
"Please, Mina-chan. He's injured." She states as calmly as she can. Even from the silence that Mina put off, she could tell that the usual bubbly, teasing demeanor was now put away for a more serious side to the pro hero rarely seen by most.
"Why isn't he in the hospital, then…?" Mina asked- Tsuyu paused, trying to think of any excuse she could possibly use to hide the fact that he was a vigilante and, therefore, an outlaw. After a few seconds, she finally responds.
"H-He… He's being chased by villains, Ribbit. The hospital may not be safe for him." She explains. Not exactly a lie, either, even if it's not the whole truth. After a lengthy pause, worrying Tsuyu that she may decline, there was a hum of thought.
"I have a lot of questions for you, Tsu-Chan, but… I can tell you need help, quick. I'll be over as soon as I can." Mina finally agrees, before hanging up. Asui let out a huff of relief, sliding down the side of the counter and onto the ground as she sort of collects herself. In just one day, her entire world has been changed. Funny how that works.
It took 30 minutes of Tsuyu checking every window and the peep hole in her door before she finally hears a knock at the door. Checking through the door, she saw Mina- Opening the door, Asui immediately socked Mina in the gut. After Mina crumpled to the ground in pain, sputtering up a few globules of spit as she clutches her poor abdomen, Tsuyu checked both sides before dragging her in.
"What the hell, Tsu…!?" She yells out, Asui setting her down on her recliner. She quickly locks the door, before looking back to Mina, hugging her and tearing up.
"I'm sorry, Mina, but… I didn't know if it was you, and…!" She began to blubber, something very rare for the girl. Mina immediately snaps out of her pain and gives a comforting hug back, trying to calm down Tsuyu as quickly as she can.
"Hey, hey! Calm down. It's me. I can tell you that right now." The pink skinned girl tried to assuage any fears the frog woman may have. After a few pats on the back and a thumbs up from Tsuyu, she quickly collected herself- She can't waste any time on this.
"R-Ribbit. Sorry, but… The villains chasing after him could disguise themselves, and no one can track them like that. So that's why I haven't really brought him to a hospital yet- Anyone can just sneak past the heroes in there and kill him, ribbit." The pro hero finally explains to her friend, who nods grimly. Certainly a fucked situation if she's ever seen one- I mean, a Quirk that practically hides someone from other heroes completely? That's almost unheard of! Then again, with Quirks, anything could happen.
"So, you want me to hold down the fort and check on him while you run out to get some groceries, yeah?" Mina questions, to which Tsuyu confirms with a simple nod. Leaning back in the recliner, the acidic superheroine let out a quick laugh, before giving a thumbs up.
"'Course I'll look after this guy, Tsu-chan! What's his name again-? You called him 'Izuku,' right? Or was I hearing things wrong…?" She continues to ask, Tsuyu, again, confirming her suspicions with a nod. Looking at him, she let out a whistle of disbelief.
"He is ripped, huh? That doesn't look like a quirk, either-"
"Ribbit, I dunno how much he'd appreciate being stared at while unconscious, Mina." Asui bluntly reprimanded, Mina slapping the side of her head.
"Sorry! Force of habit." The pink skinned hero apologized, scratching her head in embarrassment. Tsuyu nodded, before grabbing her wallet and heading to the front door. Mina tilted her head in confusion as she saw her friend begin to leave already.
"You sure you'll be ok out there, Tsu-chan? I mean, I know you're a hero and everything, but-"
"Ribbit, I'll take some short cuts. I should be back soon." The frog heroine explained, before closing the door behind herself, locking it from the outside. Mina took the chance to lock the extra lock behind her- Making sure that if someone got the key, they couldn't get in.
'Then again… Someone could just… Break the windows or door. Why did I think locking the door was gonna protect me?!' Mina screamed internally, before flopping back onto the recliner, keeping an eye on this 'Izuku' person.
"... So, you come here often?" She asks, to which the unconscious man gave out a 'hhhghhh' in response- Whether that was done consciously or not, Mina didn't know, nor did she have the medical expertise needed to check. Well, might as well help herself to whatever snacks Tsuyu had in her fridge!
The trip to the grocery store was actually a lot less… Eventful than Tsuyu expected. Which is good. Though she, as a hero, craved the adventure of solving problems that crop up every now and then, the prospect of Nomus causing trouble was not exactly all that appealing to her. Even if she was trained in combat by All-Might and Eraserhead, she can't exactly see herself winning against even a low level Nomu. She nearly had her tongue severed by one, for god's sake! Shaking her head, she didn't need to relive those memories.
Though, as she was walking down the semi-busy streets of Musutafu, she couldn't help but feel like she's being followed. Maybe it was just the paranoia from all the recent events affecting her, but the feeling didn't leave. Even after walking down various shortcuts. Using the reflection of windows behind her, she can definitely tell that something, or someone, was behind her a few paces. Something short- her mind instantly wanders back to that small, insectoid Nomu that Kurogiri summoned to finish off Midoriya. She almost starts to break into a sprint when she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey!" A familiar voice breaks out through the silence, making her tense up instinctually. This was worse than any Nomu if it's who she thinks it is. Worse than any super villain, All For One, or any sort of monster that a child's nightmares could make up. Turning her head around, she was soon met with Mineta Minoru, the terror or U.A.'s Women. There wasn't a single female student in U.A. who didn't know Mineta Minoru- He was like Kaminari, but disrespectful and with even less tact than the stupider electric using quirk. Biting the inside of her mouth, she tried to resist the urge to slug him in the face- There was no one around, and they weren't in school anymore. Though, she didn't get the chance to inflict harm upon him like she dreamed, as he immediately stood at attention… Then got on his hands and knees, bowing his head down so hard that she swore she heard a crack against the pavement. Blood trickled down his forehead a bit.
"I'M SO, SO, SO, SO, SO, SO SORRY, ASUI-SAMA! I AM SO SORRY FOR MAKING YOUR YEARS AT U.A. A FUCKING NIGHTMARE! I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO SAY BUT I'M SORRY!" He yells out at the top of his lungs, surprising Tsuyu. Mineta? Apologizing? In what world? Was this some sort of prank where he'd then reveal he was using this opportunity to get some skeezy look beneath her? Though, she kept an eye on him as he blubbered on and on about how sorry he was, and he didn't even lift his head from the cement that paved the Alleyway she was in.
"... Are you… Joking? Are you messing with me, ribbit?" Asui asks, a tone of disbelief in her voice.
"I WOULD NEVER! NOT AFTER WHAT I'VE ALREADY DONE TO YOU! PLEASE, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO TO EVEN BEGIN TO APOLOGIZE TO WHAT I DID!" He yells out, before he starts to root around in his pockets. Tsuyu was confused, until he pulled out his wallet. Reaching in, he grabbed all the available Yen Bills he had in there- About 7000, if she counted right, along with some 100 in change. Letting out a confused ribbit as he put the money in her hand, he continued to search around in his wallet, before he began to reach for his Credit Card.
"U-Uh, yeah, no, ribbit. I'm… Not accepting your money." She held the money back to him, Mineta staring at her in surprise. Frantically looking around, he eventually went back to grovelling. Tsuyu thought about how thankful he should've been that he ran into her and not Mina- By now, Mina would've burnt off his face like a villain.
"L-Listen, if it's… All good for you, ribbit, I'm gonna go-"
"WAIT! Wait, please, please, I need to make it up to you. I can't just go on with this guilt in me about how stupid I was as a teenager! I made so many stupid decisions that haunt me even to this day! Please, I'll do anything!" He begged, before he seemingly got an idea. Scrambling to his feet, he took out his phone and typed something in, before entering- Bringing up the site of what appears to be a rather fancy cafe not too far from their current location. It was at this point that Tsuyu began to feel hungry. She didn't have any food, and coffee isn't really that much of a sustenance.
"I'll pay for a trip here- All of it! Any food you order, even the most expensive ones, I will pay for! Even if you order the entire menu, I will pay for it, so please!" Mineta begs- Tsuyu was of two opinions about this. One was that while he was clearly trying, the fact that he stalked her for a bit had her a bit cautious… And also, even after this, she probably would never talk to him again. But, on the other hand, he is offering, and who in their right mind rejects free, gourmet food and coffee? But, then again, Mina is waiting at her place for her… Ah, screw it. Taking out her phone, she text Mina that she will 'have to take some detours which means she's gonna take a bit longer to get back.' After getting the OK from her friend, she sighed.
"Fine, ribbit. But don't expect me to be ok with all the shit you pulled in U.A. after this. Feeding someone good food isn't enough to make them forgive you." She relented. Mineta, one again, got on his hands and knees and began to thank Tsuyu for giving him a chance to finally apologize, but she didn't really care. She just wanted some food.
It didn't take long for either to get situated within the cafe- It actually was within walking distance. Despite the stares the two got, Mineta constantly affirmed this wasn't hit was to try and get into a date with Tsuyu. He just at least wanted to make up for one of the many, many times she was harassed by the baby sized skeezebag. It was around this time too that Tsuyu actually got a good look at the grape colored hero.
His Quirk, Pop-Off, was still clearly visible, if maybe a bit more pronounced. The frog girl wondered if there were more than before… Then remembered all the impromptu ways he used them to try and get a peek in at all the girls in the school changing. Anger flared up within her again like a raging fire, but seeing as how they were in a public setting, she decided against her better judgement to grab the nearest glass object and break it over his head. He had a small soul patch- Purple, much like his own hair, along with the rattiest of whiskers on his upper lip. She grimaced- He really needs to shave, she figured. He was still the same height, something that both intrigued and amused her- Guess he never had a growth spurt. For clothing, he wore a fitted Beige Duster- At least, she figured it was fitted seeing as how there were probably no dusters that were XXXX Small. Underneath that was a purple jersey with a cartoonish logo of a Grape with Googly Eyes- His logo? It was about as creative as his get up, she figured. Next were some torn and ratty-looking jeans, completed with purple sneakers. He sat in the opposite booth, sullen and battered looking as the waitress walked over.
"Hello, and welcome to Je Suis Cafe- How may I help you?" She asked- Tsuyu almost had to stop herself from laughing at the name. Coincidentally, due to her frog-like powers, she was always connected to France and everything French related. Though she didn't really pay it any mind, she did learn a few words from all the stuff she saw- And she knows for a fact that, while the Cafe was trying to sound fancy… They ended up instead saying 'I am Coffee.'
"Ri-Ribbit, I'm… Sorry, I- r-r-ribbit- am having a bad case of Allergies. Erm, can I have the... Espresso with one packet-" Tsuyu then realized she was dealing with Espresso- "Three packets of Sugar and 4 shots of cream, please. And, ribbit, some Sparkling Water to go along with it." The frog read off the menu, the waitress nodding.
"And what will your guest be having?" She asks, Mineta just shaking his head, indicating that he'd be having nothing. Nodding silently, she wrote down the order, before bowing to the two of them, leaving them back to the awkward silence that prevailed at the table.
"Why the change of heart, ribbit?" Asui asked, breaking the ice. Mineta sort of sunk in his booth, looking to the side.
"L-Listen, just… After all is said and done, and the haze clears, your mind starts to clear up from the nightmare that is puberty, and you realize how much of a shitlord you were being to people around you. It's not much of an excuse, I know, but I'm at least trying my best to fix it." He sighs, lying the side of his head down on the table in anguish. The Waitress walked up with the milky espresso and glass of sparkling water, before taking a look at Mineta. She leaned over to Tsuyu, whispering into her ear.
"Is he… Alright?" She asks, before Tsuyu gave a nod and a dismissive wave, trying not to drag this poor worker into all of… This. With the poor employee dealt with, she turned her attention back to the situation of a grovelling and depressed looking bastard she dealt with all her teen years. His explanation certainly lined up with how he acted, so that's at least the explanation she'll take, but she still didn't really believe the whole 'I just wanted to apologize' thing. Maybe it's just her cynicism related to the particular shorty, but she can't shake this feeling of a hidden agenda. Though, the frog girl supposed that could wait until she had her coffee. Speaking of her coffee, she looked down at the cream brown concoction- It's been a while since she had Espresso. Most of her Coffee drinking came from instant packets or the coffee the frog heroine brewed at home, both of which weren't exactly high quality like most Espressos. At least, an Espresso that came in it's own cup was a 3 Star restaurant thing in her own mind. Stirring it around languidly, she decided to bite the bullet and took a sip.
She had forgotten how acrid the taste of Espresso was. Tsuyu nearly coughed it up as soon as it hit her taste buds, an action that shocked Mineta, even if the dribblets of her coffee got on his face. Holding up a hand to show that she was fine, mostly because she couldn't stand the thought of getting help from Mineta of all people, she eventually acclimated to the taste. Well, the cafe certainly lived up to its prestige, even if its name was ridiculous. It was damn good Espresso, she judged- Even if she wasn't really a connoisseur of such drinks. And the sparkling water complemented its flavor with its own sense of cleansing refreshment, making sure to clean her palette between sips of the coffee.
"... So, ribbit, how's your pro hero career going?" Tsuyu asked- Might as well see. Though the sigh that he gave was more than enough explanation to how his job was faring.
"Terrible. As it turned out, the whole grape thing never caught on in any sort of niche following- Even the degenerates of the internet, who'd like anything, rejected me instantly. I was never met with cheers or bellows for my name. Mostly confusion and boos from people who thought I was some child who wandered onto the scene or a joke. Quite the hit, emotionally." Mineta extrapolated on his pain, though Tsuyu couldn't help but feel like she predicted that. Besides, with how he acted, he was practically double unattractive to any sort of group… Well, maybe the lowest of the low, but they're the type of people you'd rather not want as fans.
"Can't say I'm surprised." Tsuyu called, flat-out. Mineta winced at the rather straight-to-the-point jab at his career as a Pro Hero, but going off his resigned face afterwards, it's probably safe to assume he expected it at that point. Lying there limply, face drained of any energy, the hero simply waited, perhaps for his end to come take him, but, alas, no end in sight. Disappointed, he shuffled out of the booth and walked to the restrooms- No explanation needed for Tsuyu, since the frog could see. Ordering a Blueberry Muffin with a Brown Sugar glaze, the frog heroine eventually heard the rumbling of some kind of Villain attack outside. Standing to attention, Froppy instantly ran outside to see what the problem was.
Spotting the problem from a few meters away, she identified the Nomu Kurogiri released- Meenlock, if she was correct on its name. Getting a proper look this time, her skin crawled with horror as she saw it's abhorrent appearance.
The creature resembled a giant Isopod- Those disgusting little creatures she saw on the internet from time to time. White, pallid skin decorated it's chitin plating, the armor taking a more light brown coloring at the edges. His hands were rudimentary, with just two stubby fingers and a giant thumb that could almost wrap around the entirety of the hand on it's own. It had two compound, black, soulless eyes hidden behind a plethora of antennae and feelers, along with a set of almost vestigial insectoid legs emerging from its chest. Giant, hair-like protrusions emerged from its back, as its legs were dinosaur-like in structure, with two giant ivory talons growing out of its feet. The inside of its mouth revealed a circular, sucker mouth similar to that of a Lamprey.
"KhkhkhkkhkKHKkkHkkhkhkkh… Come out, you two…!" It cackled, its various mouth appendages creating disturbing clicking noises, almost like a cricket's. Lurching forward, two growths shot out of him- Landing on the ground, two other Meenlocks emerged out, clicking away while attacking civilians at random. Tsuyu was thankful she left her groceries in the cafe, as she started to walk forward, ready to spring into action.
"Froppy! I'll handle the people in the cafe!" Mineta yelled out, Tsuyu cursing the shorty's terrible timing. Of course, the instant they heard the name 'Froppy,' the Meenlocks turned their heads towards the frog heroine. Letting out an 'eep,' Mineta rushed off to help the citizens still inside Je Suis Cafe. Getting down on all fours, She leapt into action as soon as possible. Whipping her tongue out, she lashed one of the Meenlock clones… Only to find that, upon contact, the Nomu disintegrated into a viscous black liquid that had trapped her tongue inside it. Though it quickly began to dissolve, that didn't stop the other Meenlocks from jumping on her instantly- The other clone kneed her in the gut, while the other stuck her in the side with it's hook-like thumb. Thumb stuck in her hip, she was then thrown over the creature's back, slamming the back of her head on the asphalt.
"Khkkhkkhkkhk… Is this really what a pro hero has to offer!? How pitiful, pitiful, pitifukhkhkhkhkhkhkkkkk…" The Meenlock's rant eventually fades out to clicking, though it unhooks it's thumb from Tsuyu's waist. Wincing in pain, Tsuyu scrambled to her feet as soon as the waves of pain became tolerable. Thanks to that, she narrowly dodged a fist smashing her face, the resulting punch leaving a small dent in the asphalt.
"Ribbit, no wonder Victory's needed to take these guys on- They're a nightmare…!" Asui muttered to herself, before hopping onto the roof of a nearby car. A temporary shelter from the Nomus, as they then flipped it with ease, Froppy instead using the momentum to grab onto a street light with her tongue. Using the momentum and her own weight to spin around the light like a top, she eventually launched herself into the other Meenlock clone, tearing right through it like it was paper.
"Tchh… I khhkhkhkan just makhkhke more! Watch and learn, you stupid bit-" He began the process… Only to get interrupted by a fist across its face. Though it wasn't really perturbed by it, it did stagger a bit, spitting out a bit of blood from the sucker punch.
"Who…!?" It yelled out, looking at Mineta taking a combative stance. It's clicking increasing more and more, it charged the Grape colored Pro Hero, only for Mineta to duck and weave out of the way of the attacker. Color Tsuyu surprised- whenever they had combat class, Mineta was usually the one to fail most of the quizzes. Maybe a few years on the streets really did work out for him. Her deep thought process made her miss the decisive blow, though, where Mineta grabbed one of his Pop-Off balls, and stuck it to the back of Meenlock's head. Slamming their head against a rolled over van he instantly became stuck, flailing its insectoid arms around helplessly. The shorty, after seemingly charging for a second, unleashed a punch rush against the gut of the meenlock- Almost like a boxer against a speed bag, the Meenlock could practically do nothing as it was pummeled into submission… Until it exploded into the same viscous liquid that comprised the other two clones.
"That was a clone too!?" Tsuyu yelled out loud, shocked by the sudden turn of events. Mineta stared at the slowly dissolving puddle of black ooze, before turning his attention to Tsuyu, a look on his face that the frog heroine hasn't seen before. Determination- Determination to solve something like a Pro Hero.
"You go- I'll try to handle this." He nods, before running off into the distance before Asui could try to butt in and say she can do this on her own. Pausing at the sudden flip in character, she simply shrugged and got her groceries- After eating her Blueberry muffin, of course. The walk home, thankfully, was free of any sort of trouble from Nomus, which, again, she thanked whatever god or goddess blessed her. Unlocking the door, she walked in to find-
"So, uh… You like any movies?" Mina asked, only to have the same 'hhhghh' grunt groaned at her unconsciously from the incapacitated vigilantes. Nodding as if she understood, she waited for his response- Midoriya simply let out another groan, to which her eyes widened and she covered her mouth with her hand.
"Wow, you like that too, huh? Crazy! I thought I was the only person in the world who liked that movie! It's totally underrated, though, right? I mean, people harp on Midnight for her whole gimmick, but, damn if she isn't a great actress-"
"Ribbit, you can understand him…?" She asks, to which Mina gave a cheerful shake of the head.
"Of course not, Tsuyu! I'm just trying to keep myself entertained while watching over a catatonic rando. By the by, I helped myself to some of your leftover Ramen, so… Sorry!" The pink skinned heroine smiles. Upon hearing the confession, Tsuyu just about dropped everything and screamed in anguish- As if this day couldn't get any worse!
"Ribbit, please don't do that again, Mina-chan." Though her voice wasn't all that expressive, the look in her eyes was enough to make the acidic heroine sink in her chair. After Tsuyu walked to her kitchen, keeping her eyes trained on Mina, she eventually began to put up the groceries. However, half-way through her sorting the various spices needed for dinner tomorrow, she heard a short, sharp scream come from the living room, nearly making her drop her bonito flakes. Rushing in, she saw Mina on the ground, just as surprised as she was, and Izuku, now awake, sporting a heavy layer of sweat and an intense look in his eyes. He didn't seem at all cognizant of his surroundings, other than the fact that he's, somehow, alive.
"K-Kuro… Giri… Where did… Am I…?" He was rambling- But, unlike his usual mumbling about nonsense that he usually did, this was more of the ravings of someone going through shock. He was barely able to form a single coherent sentence, and just the overall sight of him saddened Tsuyu. The green haired man eventually got his breathing under control, his eyes limpidly staring at the environment around him. Turning to Tsuyu and Mina, he shakily stood to his feet, his bones popping after their long period of disuse… And then he bowed as deeply as he could while standing.
"S-Sorry for intruding and for being such a burden." He apologizes- As soon as the apology was finished, Tsuyu hit him on the side of his head with her tongue, making the vigilante snap his neck to the side as Mina stared at her begin to glare at Izuku, who was still recovering from the hit.
"Y-You really… Just woke up from what could've been a fatal injury, ribbit, and the first thing you do is apologize?" She asked. Blinking, Izuku looked down at his own chest, noticing the gigantic sutured wound across it, before hesitating.
"I… I guess?" The Kamen Rider shrugs at the situation, seeing as how he can't really deny that is how it went down. Though it looked like Tsuyu was about to snap at Izuku and start walloping him with her tongue, she actually seemed to calm down at the answer, before placing a finger on her chin.
"Ribbit. Well, at least you're fine." She stated, before walking back in the kitchen, leaving Mina to deal with this stranger in her friends house. After Izuku looked over the entire living room, his eyes traced down to Ashido, before widening to the size of saucers. Nervous, she slowly waves a hand to wave, before Izuku lets out a scared scream, falling back onto his couch.
"H-Holy shit! You're Pinky, the biggest Indie Hero hit sensation in all of Japan! Th-T-T-This is… This i-i-is…! I…! You…!" He can barely get his words out of his mouth before they limply fall to the wind, being blown away by a stray breeze as curled into a fetal pose and began to ramble about his luck these past few days. Mina blankly watched as Izuku continued to speak and speak with seemingly no end in sight… Before chuckling.
'They'll get along just fine.' She thought to herself, a warm smile decorating her face.
"Ribbit, by the way, I met Mineta on the way here."
That one phrase was enough to ruin Mina's mood and make her spit out the contents of the water bottle she was chugging.
