Later that night, Elvira and Charlie pulled up to Jerry's house in her black convertible. They got out of the car and took some prop weapons from her show out of the trunk, then entered through the front door to see Jerry expecting them, standing at the top of the stairs, smiling down at them.

"Welcome to Fright Night…for real!"

Elvira points her ring at him dramatically…only for him to laugh at her. "It'll take more than a ring, even a magical one, to get past me."
She looks down at the ring, lip curled up in disgust. "Gosh, what a hunk'a crap!" She turned to Charlie and shrugged. "It was worth a shot." Charlie moved towards Jerry and held up one of Elvira's gaudy prop crosses, causing the vampire to back away, horrified. Charlie was so preoccupied with saving Amy that while he was backing Jerry up against a pair of doors, he failed to notice Billy come up behind him. Charlie was knocked over the railing by the vampire's assistant, hitting the floor with a loud thud. Elvira looked at Charlie's unconscious body, then up at the two men and ran out of the house, tripping over her heels as she rushed over the lawn toward Ms Brewster's house.

Once Elvira had left, Jerry picked up Charlie and carried him into the room where he had left Amy and dropped him onto the floor, jarring him awake. As Jerry was leaving the room Charlie looked over to his side and saw his girlfriend lying next to him, seemingly unconscious but was convulsing heavily.

"What have you done to her?!"

Jerry turned back and smiled at Charlie, then closed the first set of doors, locking him in the room with Amy. Charlie put his hand on Amy's shoulder and felt that her skin was cold and sweaty. He turned her over and was shocked when he saw she now had fangs. Outside the room Jerry smiled when he heard Charlie scream in horror, then walked downstairs to the basement to prepare Eleanor's coffin.

Once she ran into the Brewster household, Elvira picked up the telephone to call the police, but there was no dial tone. She slammed it back onto the receiver in annoyance, and then ran upstairs to check on Ms. Brewster. Elvira discovered Evil Ed hiding under the bed sheets in the master bedroom. He got up and sarcastically explained to her that Charlie's mom was working nights, then he pulls a folded up note out of his pocket and reads it ecstatically out loud.

"MMM, MMM! HIS DINNER'S IN THE OVEN!"

After reading the note, he begins to growl, waving his arms at Elvira. She screams, and runs out of the room, tripping over a small table in the hallway, spilling its contents. Behind her, the growling has become less human, and she turns, eyes wide with fear. Ed has transformed into a wolf. "N-nice d-d-doggy," she stutters. On the floor nearby, her eyes alight on a silver letter opener, and she quickly picks it up as the wolf runs at her. The Ed-wolf leaps and she holds up the letter opener. It plunges deep into the beast's heart. She moves her feet underneath the wolf, and uses her legs to catapult him over the stairway banister. He lands on the floor, crawling into the alcove under the stairs and reverting back to human form.
Elvira cautiously went back downstairs to see Ed crawling out of the alcove towards her, crying and reaching his hand out for her forgiveness. He finally stopped moving, and she pulled the letter opener out of his chest and left, not noticing that he is still alive, watching her as she goes.
Back at Jerry's, Elvira quietly snuck upstairs to look for either Amy or Charlie. Upon hearing Charlie's sobbing from a locked room she grabbed a marble bust from a nearby desk. Using the bust, she repeatedly hit the doorknob, shattering the lock. Jerry and Billy both hear this, and rush up the stairs to investigate.
Elvira tells Charlie to get Amy so they can leave, but he says it's too late for her. She kneels down beside Charlie and looks at her niece as he tilts her head up, revealing a set of fangs protruding from Amy's mouth. She turns to Charlie. "It's not too late; we just have to kill Dandridge before she drinks human blood." Charlie sets Amy down gently and goes to leave with her aunt to kill Jerry.

Amy was woken up when she heard footsteps and opened her eyes to look around. She was now wearing her regular clothes again, surrounded by a thick fog. Off in the distance, somewhere beyond the fog she could her gunshots and looked around. A red haired woman that had her exact same facial features and was wearing the same white dress she had been wearing walked out of the fog toward her.

"My name is Eleanor. Centuries ago I made Jerry immortal and promised I would return to him in the body of one of my sister's descendants through the use of dark magic."

Amy tried to get away from by running through the fog only to return right back where she started, now trapped by Eleanor.

"This is limbo Amy. It is filled with departed souls and the rare displaced ones, like yourself. I could only possess a dead body. Jerry has made this possible by turning you into a vampire, allowing me to return to him."

Amy got up and lunged toward Eleanor.

Her body was still convulsing feverishly on the floor in front of the fireplace while inside her mind she was fighting Eleanor for control and losing. The hunger for human blood was painful, making Amy weaker and Eleanor stronger.

After staring at the remains of Billy Cole for a few seconds, Charlie immediately took off toward the basement to kill Jerry before Amy could turn completely into a vampire. On the way to the basement to follow Charlie, Elvira heard her niece scream from upstairs. She told Charlie to go stop Jerry and rushed back into the bedroom to help her. Eleanor, who was now in control of Amy's body, rose up to face Elvira, snarling. She pointed her ring at Eleanor/Amy, repelling the creature, then backed out, locking the second set of bedroom doors. Once she made her way down to the basement, she found Charlie searching around the walls for any secret rooms. Upstairs Eleanor had sensed her undead lover was in danger, and broke through the doors, heading down the stairs to kill Charlie and Elvira.

While they were searching the walls, Charlie heard someone coming down the stairs and went to see who it was. Pretending to be Amy, Eleanor approached Charlie first as she stepped into the basement and reached her hand out to him.

"Don't be frightened Charlie."

Elvira finally found a hidden switch and yelled to Charlie that she found the secret room. She slid the false wall out of the way, revealing a small room with two coffins. Elvira tried to open the larger coffin at first but it wouldn't budge and started to push the coffin onto the floor. Running out of time, Eleanor got annoyed when Charlie kept his guard up and lunged at him, only to be repelled when he held up his cross. With her back turned to Charlie, Eleanor covered her face and started crying to play on Charlie's sympathy.

"It's not my fault Charlie! You promised you wouldn't let him get me! You promised!"

Eleanor smiled, lowering her hands when she heard Charlie drop his cross and start walking toward her. When she felt Charlie's hand on her shoulder, she quickly spun around and made another lunge, causing him to jump backward.

Ignoring Charlie's calls for help across the room, Elvira finally pushed Jerry's coffin onto the floor and knocked it open, waking him up as he rolled out. On the run from Eleanor, Charlie ducked behind a stack of old chairs to distance himself. Just as he started to make a dash for safety, she pushed a piano toward the wall, boxing him in behind the chairs. Eleanor then smashed the stack of chairs to splinters, knocking Charlie to the floor in the process. She leapt onto Charlie, pinning his shoulders down and opened her mouth wide, revealing two frightening rows of sharp teeth. Charlie picked up a chair piece from the debris and swung it as hard as he could, causing the vampire to tumble off of him. He looked at her, lying unconscious on the floor then took the chair piece and threw it at a nearby painted window, letting sunlight into the basement. Elvira saw this while glancing over at Charlie and picked up a nearby paint can, throwing it while passing a window as she ran from Jerry, halting his pursuit. Elvira and Charlie started to break more windows, allowing more sunlight into the basement. Eleanor started to get up when she heard Jerry screaming for help as he burned in the sunlight, only to be restrained by Charlie and Elvira.

"Hold still, hon, this'll only take a sec," Elvira said. As Jerry burned in the sunlight, Amy felt Eleanor's control waver as she struggled to get free and used this chance to push her out of her mind, giving her control again. After a few seconds, Charlie and Elvira lifted their heads up to make sure it was over, then helped Amy up.

"Gosh, my agent is never going to believe this. I mean who would?"

Elvira looked over to see Charlie and Amy hugging. "Uh, get a room," she adds, rolling her eyes. The two teenagers smiled at each other.

Next saturday afternoon, Charlie answered the door and saw Amy standing on the porch. She had been avoiding him all week since he and Elvira managed to kill Jerry. "I have to tell you something important." she said nervously. Charlie let her in and Amy walked to the kitchen table to sit down. "When Jerry had kidnapped me, he put me under his influence. I…kissed him." Amy bit her lower lip, waiting for Charlie to say something.

Later that night, Evil Ed emerged from a sewer tunnel, the only place he could think of to avoid the sunlight. During the day he had drained a local transient who had stumbled into his hiding place. He knew he had to find a safer place to hide and ran back to Jerry Dandridge's house, hoping his new 'master' wouldn't be angry at him for failing to kill Elvira. He was relieved that Jerry was no longer around and became really glad to find two coffins still left behind in the basement. Bored, he went upstairs to look around and saw a light coming from Charlie's room in the house next door. He took a closer look and saw Amy being held by Charlie as they lay next to each other on the bed. He chuckled slightly, realizing that when Jerry had kidnapped Amy for a bride, he had managed to make their relationship stronger.
