It was late at night and no one was awake except for Ice. Ice was amazed by what had happened the night before. Was it possible that there were other cats as Crystalstream?

Why did she say what she said to me? Why was it me that she chooses?

This made Ice feel important and humble.

Maybe I should catch some prey before Pale gets up.

They had learned to catch prey themselves since they were 6 moons old already and the group turned out to be pretty talented at it.

It was a nice warm night so far when suddenly he heard a noise.

What is that?

As any young cat would do he began to go investigate, searching around for the base of the noise when he heard a sound.

"No clan would be able to stop us when we began to finish them off for good,"

It seems there was more than one cat because a chorus of approval came from the crowd down below. Ice got excited, so he snuck forward a little more, but something cracked under his paws, making a loud thundering sound. Quickly Ice looked down, he stepped on a twig!

Why do I have big, fat, clumsy paws?

"Darkness did you hear that," said a cat from below

"Don't worry Mint, I did hear that. I think a cat is watching us!"

Ice didn't need any warning as he dashed off as hard as he could.

"Get back here!" yowled Darkness as she chased after him.

Ice was running through trees and branches with barely skidding the grass. Just before he thought he was safe he felt a hard BUMP sound and before he knew it he fell on the ground eyes blacking out.

Ice woke up with a thumping of paws at his side. What do you want Pale?

"What did you hear!" growled a voice.

"Pale, you sound a little bit off today," said Ice, not knowing what was happening.

"Stop doing that right now or I'll have to dispose of you. In a bad way," she said, unsheathing her claws.

For some reason that seemed to boost up Ice's mind.

"I heard that you were going to somehow take over the clans and then I stepped on a twig and then before I knew it you were chasing after me yelling at me,"

Darkness stared at him for a long second that felt like forever. Finally, she began to speak.

"For only this time I'll let you go but if you ever mention this to anyone, I have my eyes on you,"

It doesn't seem like I'm planning to tell anyone.

"Okay Okay Okay,"

And just like that, she walked away.

Oh my gosh

But as he thought he would be safe home-free, he realized something.

I forgot the way home!
