Nancy's is losing it and it looks like the only person she can turn to with a head on her shoulders is Robin. Can she help figure out what is going on in town and with her mother? Strong content! Please review!
"Nance don't worry about it," Robin said, on the phone with her friend/experiment, Nancy Wheeler, "Why don't you come over."
"Yeah I have to get out of here but the curfew..."
Robin laughed, "I'll come get you. Just meet me by the hedges at the park."
"Ok" Nancy said, rubbing her eyes, "I'll be right over."
Robin didn't live too far, Nancy grabbed her coat and moved quietly out into the hallway. When she passed the bathroom door she heard some very disturbing sounds, she put her ear up to the door; it sounded like her mother was too involved with her own late night bath; lots of splashing going on.
"Oh yes! Yes! That's it! Don't stop that!"
Nancy knew she was human and she had needs but whatever was going on in there sounded so messed up she expected to black this out of her memory and have Dr Burke as her therapist the rest of her life. She didn't want to think that her parents did the beast with two backs, hell for all she knew they stopped after Holly was born but this was going to be super out of hand if Karen started making this a habit every night. She was so glad to get out of that house, the moaning of her mother sounded like a ghost haunted the house and was warning trespassers to leave. The street was dead quiet and nothing but crickets. She got so paranoid being alone outside, Steve was no killer and his friend probably wasn't either. She forgot to call Barb, she forgot to check up on her.
BEEP! BEEP!
"Get in!"
Great now the whole block was going to be awake. Nancy didn't even get to the hedges. They didn't drive back to Robin's right away, she wanted to make a detour.
"Did you forget something at work?"
They drove past the mall leading Nancy to suspect she had ulterior motives. The river the bodies of Carol Perkins and Joan Greene were found wasn't more than a mile from there. No streetlights, practically cut off from everything. Robin had her high beams showing Nancy the yellow tape. She parked there, leaving th engine going.
"They say they were both split open. Guts everywhere. Fucking nasty," she said, almost excited, lighting up a joint, "Sorry my manners."
Nancy refused her offer when she got a powerful whiff of marijuana, "Uh, dude I don't want to go home smelling like that."
Robin sighed and put it out after a quick puff, "Fine."
"Why are we here? Can we please go to your place."
"Was kind of hoping to see who else might come. They say the murderer always comes back to the scene of the crime."
Robin knew Nancy needed some release and a shoulder to cry on but what about her? Time to get what she really wanted something that money couldn't buy. They went back to her place, not an adult in sight. She poured her some water and invited her to sit down in the den where the shag carpeting showed her family really committed to the town's gimmick.
"I was at Steve's house."
"I know."
"I told the police I last saw him at school. Robin he didn't do it!"
"Well right now no one can find him so he must be guilty of something."
Nancy was jittery drinking from the cold glass, "Have you seen Barb?"
"Not since yesterday. She never went home?"
"No...I don't think so. This isn't like her."
"Well her parents didn't report her missing."
"Something is very wrong here, Robin. I saw a claw mark on Steve's back."
Robin paused, a little shocked by this, "Like a claw or like really sharp nails?"
Nancy sighed, "I slept in his room but nothing happened. It was a deep cut like an animal. Could it be possible an animal killed those two?"
"Like what a mountain lion?" Robin laughed; it was funny seeing how scared little Nancy was but it was time to get down to the real business.
"I'm serious. I can't even sleep. I keep having these nightmares. There's this man with this striped shirt and...I don't know. Nothing makes sense!"
She dropped the glass, not breaking as it just bounced off the shag, Robin took a good hold of her, "Nance. Try not to worry about that right now. Let's talk about you and your mom."
Nancy frowned, this was the weirdest thing she'd said to her, "My mom? What about her?"
"Nance you're not thinking about the most important thing."
"Well...my mom's fine...what does this have to do...," thoughts of Karen's orgasmic screams echoed in her brain.
"Everything. I've noticed some things going on with her and well I don't want to freak you out or anything...," Robin trailed off, only putting Nancy on edge.
Nancy felt like she jumped out of her skin, "What? Tell me!"
"She's been talking a lot about you lately."
Nancy sighed, "Yeah she worries about me."
"Not just that. Has she ever called you...Her little stud muffin?"
Nancy tilted her head and thought back, looking like an adorable puppy, "Stud muffin? No...why would she..."
"She gets really flustered talking about you. It's weirdly cute."
"Wait! Wait!" Nancy protested, sticking her hands up, "Robin, are you telling me that my mom has the hots for me?"
Robin laughed and tapped Nancy's head with her hand, "Think, McFly! Think!"
Nancy thought back to how clingy and obsessed Karen was whenever she was around, passing it off as her delusional behaviour of being overly motherly, "This is..."
Robin was hoping she would say: 'Hot', but she knew she wouldn't be so lucky, "Sick!"
"Nance...," Robin said, trying to comfort her.
"Of course why didn't I see it. I have to tell Dr Burke."
"What? No!" She knew he'd put Karen in a straight jacket for sure.
"I have to she needs help."
"He'll send her to the looney bin. Is that what you want?"
Of course she didn't but there was only so much Nancy could take at this point, "No."
"I mean it's kind of messed up but I think it's kind of sweet."
"What?" Nancy was disturbed she would say such a thing.
Robin shrugged, "She does care about you, maybe you just have to play along."
Nancy looked down at the shagged carpeting as she attempted to piece anything resembling sense in her life, "Dr Burke did say to act like things were normal."
"See. That's what you have to do."
Nancy touched her hair nervously, needing something to occupy herself, "But..."
"She'd never hurt you, right?"
"Right. She would never. I know."
"Good," Robin smiled.
"But what if she makes a pass at me?" She said with real concern.
Robin wanted to tell her to go with it and make a pass right back but suggested something just as strange, "Just act flattered. Just be nice to her."
Nancy held herself and thought maybe it was time to go home, if there was a killer around then she should be with her mother. Robin drove her back home hoping now she could put things further in motion.
"Thanks for talking to me."
"Any time and don't worry this is just between us."
"Right..."
"You have nothing to worry about, Nance."
Nancy opened her door but clung onto it, still afraid of something else bugging her, "Did the police talk to you?"
"I didn't mention you were with them. Don't worry. You didn't do anything wrong."
"Thanks. Goodnight."
"A date night?" Karen twirled the phone cord between her fingers.
"Nancy confirmed it," Robin said, ecstatic.
"My I didn't think Nancy would ever..."
"Just be careful what you say. Nancy is going to ask you in her own way."
"I'm so glad you talk to her too."
"I try to be helpful," Robin smiled deviously.
"Well you are. Thank you. Now I have to find just the thing to wear."
"I'll talk to Nancy. Is she up yet?"
Nancy had fallen asleep a few hours after talking to Robin. Again she was running, chased by this evil man in a red and green striped sweater. He laughed, and dragged a glove full of razor sharp knives along a concrete wall; it sounded harsh and rusty. When Nancy woke up she said aloud, "Fred Krueger!"
"Nance? Breakfast is ready!"
Nancy wrote the name down on a piece of paper on her night stand, she had never heard of this name before but it had to be important. She went down for breakfast finding Karen wearing a red dress and her hair done up.
"Morning, Mom. Going out?"
Karen smiled, "A matter of fact I am."
Nancy tried acting chipper despite another nightmare, she was nervous about her mother's fascination with her but tried to focus on eating the scrambled eggs she prepared instead. She was going to help with the dishes but got a call from Robin. "That's alright. I'm sure it's important," Karen winked.
Nancy winced and took her cell phone upstairs.
"She thinks what?" Besides not thinking how she could've talked to her mother since last night Nancy's head was spinning.
"Look I have a theory. Just one date and I think she'll be back to normal or well her normal."
Nancy shoved her face into her comforter and screamed, "What other choice do you have?"
"Stupid curfew."
"Trust me this will work."
"Before you go have you ever heard of a man named Fred Kruger?"
"No idea. Hey great idea. I'll tell you what to do. I'll come by later and give you one of these old earpieces."
"Wait what?"
"Gotta jet!"
Nancy was left with a dial tone and no other answers. She collapsed back onto her bed trying to think of what to do. She decided not to sleep that was for sure since no good was coming out of it.
"The red one."
"Thanks, Robin. You're a lifesaver!"
"No problem, Ms Wheeler now go knock her dead."
Karen heard a rasping at her bedroom door and adjusted her hair, "Just a minute" She swayed her hips over to the door and opened to find a pale scared face looking up at her, "Why, Nancy hello."
"Hi...Karen...um I was wondering," Nancy said, stalling, "Are you free tonight?"
Karen smiled widely, "Yes."
"Uh...," Nancy scratched the back of her head and cleared her throat again, "Would you maybe like to go out?"
"Go out?" Karen smiled, "Sure, Nance of course."
"If you want to of course."
Karen touched the tip of Nancy's pointed chin, "Oh I do. Pick me up at 6?"
"Uh yeah...," Nancy nodded.
Karen shut her door slowly, leaving Nancy just standing there wondering what she was doing with her life. Robin stopped by with an ear piece to communicate with her during the date and had a box of chocolates and flowers because she knew it was what Karen wanted.
"You don't think this is I don't know, insane?"
"Yeah but...look just go with it, Wheeler because she deserves more than just a box of chocolate!"
She peeled out of there, little did Nancy know she already delivered the same kind of earpiece to Karen earlier. Nancy didn't know what to wear to please Karen, she stood there in her bedroom looking herself over in the mirror. "Date with your mom. You're going on a date with your mom. You'll laugh about how stupid this is later." She settled on her nicest pair of jeans and a navy blue blouse, maybe she should've gone with a skirt.
"You got this, ok?" Robin said in her ear, "Don't forget the chocolate and flowers."
Nancy's palms were sweating, this was all becoming too real, she took a deep breath when she walked out into the hall, unaware that Robin was making sure Karen was in position; Karen heard Nancy and was getting nervous that she wasn't ready. Nancy knocked at the door, Karen was instructed to keep her waiting which she did, feeling powerful. When she did finally answer after a few minutes passed she surprised Nancy, leaving her awestruck by her choice of red lingerie and nothing else. The laced red bra really gave her boobs some lift and the red thong was see through, Nancy could make out some bush, she was feeling weird, weirder that she couldn't get over her near hourglass shape.
"Good evening, stud muffin!"
"M-m...Karen," Nancy gulped.
"Ok, tiger," Robin told Nancy, "Time for this night to get started."
"For me?" Karen asked, looking over the freshish arrangement of flowers and box of chocolates; she pressed a hand to her breast at the thoughtful gesture. Karen presented her hand which Nancy took into hers and led the hungry cougar down the stairs.
"You're doing great, Mrs Wheeler."
"I uh ordered a pizza," Nancy said, trying to smile.
"Great," Karen's smile could almost crack her face.
Nancy had everything ready downstairs; mainly just a movie to keep the night occupied and Karen. Nancy just kept telling herself it was a first date but it was hard to tell herself nothing would happen when her mother was wearing sexy lingerie and her boobs and butt were on display not to mention her shapely legs. They sat down on the couch and started with a VHS copy of the John Cusack movie Say Anything, a movie Nancy had never seen but knew Karen liked. As the movie played Karen was getting more affectionate and leaned in closer to Nancy, pushing her into a corner. Nancy swore Karen blew air into her ear. She heard a car pull up in the drive way and jumped off the couch.
"Pizza's here!"
She ran for her life and her sanity to the door. Karen pushed on her earpiece to see what Robin had to say, "Careful you almost had her but don't worry I have an idea."
"Nancy you are bombing!" Robin told Nancy bluntly as she shoved some bills into the delivery guy's hand without realizing how much she tipped.
"I know but what do I do?"
"Just whatever happens next just go with it and say something nice."
Delivery guy could've sworn he saw a hot Milf in the living room but Nancy pushed him out the door before he could get a better look. Nancy got out the red wine with some glasses; Robin's idea and set the coffee table.
"My what service," said Karen giving her daughter sensual eyes.
Nancy clinked her glass into hers and focused on the movie when out of nowhere Karen stretched and moved her bare leg over top of hers, this thick thigh that weighed her down. Her leg found its way between Nancy's and stayed there like an anchor. Nancy was trapped but decided to suck it up and go with it. She said the only thing she could think to say, "Uh...nice leg."
"Thank you," Karen smiled warmly, "I've been working out."
"I can...I can see that," Nancy was getting used to the whole alcohol thing, she downed that glass of red wine in a hurry, she even ended up feeling Karen's leg while watching the movie, massaging it without even thinking, when she noticed she stopped but saw how disappointed Karen was and continued.
"Now put your arm around her."
Nancy was nervous to do so but did the whole yawn and stretch routine and did it like in a lame comedy. Karen bought it though and snuggled into her.
"You're doing great, Karen, now don't forget to bring out the big guns."
Karen knew what to do, she pushed her girls together and made sure Nancy got a good eyeful, it worked and even though Nancy turned away she saw her peeking at her cleavage.
"Hook, line and sinker!" Robin declared. She moved onto Nancy, "Nance, don't forget this is a date. Ask her stuff."
Nancy thought of what to do. 20 questions, they could be there all night. "So you really like this movie, huh?"
"Yeah. Romantic. Don't you think?" Karen asked in a husky tone. At this point John Cusack was holding up a boom box underneath his girlfriend's window, it was blasting the song, 'In Your Eyes' by Peter Gabriel, they listened to when they were having sex in the back of his car.
"Yeah, pretty romantic."
Nancy felt Karen's hand caressing her neck, it was getting a little too close for her liking but she noticed how grabby her own hand was getting with Karen's leg.
"You like that?" Karen whispered.
Nancy's cheeks were turning red, "It's...nice..."
"I never thought you'd ask me out. I never thought a girl like me would be so lucky."
Nancy looked her over, she sounded so genuine it was scary, "I...I really mean that much to you?"
Karen moved in closer like she was going to kiss her.
"It's ok," Karen said, continuing to smile, "I won't bite."
They continued watching and Nancy went to grab another slice, she ended up groping Karen's boob instead, "I-I'm sorry!"
"Ooh, Nancy, so forward. I like that," Karen giggled. Nancy tried to pretend nothing was wrong but then she dropped topping bullseye into Karen's cleavage. Karen simply laughed while Nancy looked on, mortified. "Little help?"
Nancy used a paper towel, feeling weird watching Karen's boobs jiggle, even weirder when Karen took her saucy finger and put it in her mouth, sucking it off. Thankfully for Nancy the date was coming to an end and she walked Karen to her room. Karen acted weird like she was under a curfew, like the bedroom itself was her own home and she was a teenager.
"Thanks for a great night."
"Uh yeah...it was great."
Nancy touched her hand and Karen closed the door. Great over, Nancy could put this all behind her and...
Karen came back out and picked Nancy up, smooching her on the mouth like she never had before. Nancy was speechless when she set her back down. Nancy watched her blow a kiss and shut the door again. Nancy almost tripped walking into her room, Karen watched her through the crack of her door. She was absolutely head over heels like a teenaged girl. She jumped on her bed and danced like a lunatic.
Nancy collapsed on her bed when her phone went off. She expected Robin and wasn't sure what to say after what just happened.
"Robin I..."
"Nance? Nance it's Steve can you meet me?"
To be continued!
