Returning alive was about the only assurance Bonny had at the moment. Calmed down by the ride and some usual bickering to Ratchet's holoform begrudgingly helped her out of the back of the ambulance before he transformed, stomping back to the medbay. She watched him before sticking her tongue out at him. He was so cold.

Hyperdrive raced off in his RC form while she clenched her fists, struggling to contain her tremors after her near death experience, "Hey get back here dumbass, you don't know where you're going." He just kept driving though and she shook her head. He was probably searching for a place to hide like a cat would. Bonny sighed and took a moment to take in her surroundings.

The ceiling had to be over a hundred feet above her head. It was like a gutted parking garage, converted into a massive hangar, though logically she knew that wasn't what this was. It was a newly built building, one that had been custom made just for the Autobots. When her eyes came back down from the ceiling, she realized that there were at least a dozen cars parked around the space. All kinds of makes and models. Some sporty, some rough and tumble. Her eyes lingered on a massive black truck. Christ that thing was huge, and gorgeous. She didn't know that made personal vehicles that big, but then again, there were truckheads out there that probably had the same model lifted to all hell. Overcompensating with beefy engines. Though naturally she made her way in it's direction first to take a closer look.

A man jogged over to her, his face red as he quickly looked her over, "You alright? Ahh, I'm Colonel William Lennox, you can call me Will." He stuck his hand out to her. His brows were furrowed in worry.

"Um.. Yes. Physically I'm just peachy." Bonny shook his hand firmly letting out a deep breath, she knew he could feel her shaking still, "It's been a day, you know?"

He nodded understandingly, letting go of her hand, "I'm going to show you to where you'll be staying, do you have any luggage with you?"

Bonny rubbed her arm anxiously, "Well, I had luggage but… it was still in the plane. Your men jerked me out of my seat so fast all I managed to tell them to grab was Hyperdrive. Can you get a message to whoever is fighting to keep an eye out for a large duffle bag filled with harddrives and 3 laptops?"

"Well… we'll try and recover what we can, but… I-" He rubbed the back of his head, "Whole thing is kind of a fireball right now."

She raised a hand, "Please don't say anything else. I may or may not start crying if you do and I don't want to cry today. Just… tell me when it's all said and done. Whatever you can get back will be a godsend. Seeing as my life's work was brought with me and is now possibly destroyed or in the hands of a Decepticon."

He pulled out a cell phone, calling someone, but he spoke in a hushed tone. She was too frazzled to really pay attention to what was said. "So, Hyperdrive?" He continued after his call ended, "Is that what your Autobot calls itself?" He questioned, looking around for him.

"Well for one he's not mine he's his own being. You can't own a Cybertronian. And two he's off roaming around, I swear he's like a cat sometimes. We got let out of Ratchet's alt form and he took off to hide. He gets anxious in new environments. I couldn't find him for a solid week the last time we moved into a new house."

"Good, I was trying to see your stance on them." He looked at the cars, "I'm surprised they're not all over you."

She shrugged then looked up at him, "I'm sure they're trying to get a gauge on me too."

There was the tell-tale whirl of gears and grinding metal. A massive hand slammed into the ground while a cannon started heating up next to her face. She looked only mildly surprised by it. "Well, punk. What kind of shit do you think the Decepticons will get from you?"

Her eyes lit up as she looked at his cannon harder, "Incredible. Hype hasn't got nearly this much firepower. How much damage can you put out with this thing?" Eagerly she got closer, trying to see how it was powered but there was immense heat that was put out from it that kept her at a good enough distance. She completely ignored his question on purpose. Most of her research and theories had to do with the way they were built, their anatomy if you would. Ways for humans to survive alongside them. Though certainly that information could be turned around and used as ways humans could kill them. "How many cannons do you have? Can you shoot projectiles? Are they like standard gunpowder based missiles or more like plasma?" Bonny tried to get a peek between his panels.

Will had a stunned look on his face, blinking at her and how calm she was with a cannon next to her head. Ironhide opened and closed his mouth for a moment before he retracted his weapon and leaned down closer to her, "You aren't… afraid of my cannons?"

"Should I be? What you're going to blast me away inside of this building, in front of your allies, and expect what to happen?" She raised a brow, "That wouldn't be very smart now would it? Or did you replace your processors with bullets too?"

There was a loud and distinct HA that came from deeper in the building. Ironhide narrowed his optics at the sound, his face plates pursing slightly, "...very clever. Now I see why they picked you to work with Ratchet."

"What's that supposed to mean?" She pouted now. "I'm not nearly that cold. He was like a… a… big jerkwad."

"...I like you, punk. My designation is Ironhide, weapon's specialist." He held out a finger to her.

Bonny was still pouting as she took it and gave it a little shake, "My name is Bonny. The idiot I came with is Hyperdrive, but I'm not entirely sure where he went off to, so nice to meet you, but it's also very rude for you to put cannons in peoples faces. You should expect not so nice reactions, or… you know… people shitting themselves."

He chuckled at that, standing back up to let the others have a good look at her. "I really like this one."

Will stepped in, "Okay, well. He's like that. Usually he's not so… accepting, actually." He seemed fairly confused by the warm welcome he'd given the woman. Other people had been harassed almost to the point of tears. "Anyway. Over here we have Sideswipe, Bumblebee, and the triplets. Arcee, Chromia, and Elita-One."

Bonny waved nervously at them, Bumblebee seemed to be the most curious while the others stayed in their alt-forms. He transformed and offered her his hand, "Howdy! Let's give a round of applause for the newest contestant!"

Bonny laughed slightly, shaking his hand, "Why are you using audio clips to communicate?"

"Lost my voice. Tragic really." He gave a few said chirps.

"Aww, cheer up lovebug, I'll see what I can do to fix it, okay? Let me get settled and I'll see what kind of equipment the government will cough up. Maybe I can fabricate a new voice modulator for you." She gave his hand a soft pat. Hyperdrive rammed into her leg. "OW. Son-of-a-bitch, are you trying to break my leg?! Dammit all." She leaned down and rubbed her leg. Bumblebee picked her up as Will started to protest.

"Hey come on! I'm giving a tour here, Bee. She's not Sam." Bee gave him a few more chirps, holding her in his servos.

"I'm okay, Will." She was grinning, "I feel tall now!" Bee took that as a good sign, lifting her up a little higher so she could scope out the building. "Wow. This place is HUGE!" There were a few other vehicles in the building. There was a white, red, and green mech heading towards the med-bay. A Peterbilt semi-truck parked by some computers, it's red, white, and blue paint-job unmistakably patriotic.

"There so many…" She murmured quietly, settling herself in Bee's hand. They all had different body types too, there seemed to be a vast range of sizes. Hype had mentioned that there were some Cybertronians even smaller than he was.

Will huffed a bit before motioning for Bumblebee to follow along with them. Bonny couldn't help but grin at the royal treatment. "Over here is Optimus, he's not in a very good mood right now so we'll loop back to him later." Her head snapped back in the direction of the Peterbilt, eyes widening considerably. So that was him, the glorious leader of the Autobots… and here she was just feet away from him. "We're headed to Medbay now, we want you working alongside Ratchet, seeing as your knowledge is… extensive. How did you learn so much?"

Bonny swung her legs back and forth, thinking about the best way to word her experience, "Well… after Hype crash landed in my backyard, he was heavily damaged. I've no idea what really happened because he wouldn't say, but I set to work trying to repair him to the best of my ability. From there it was just studying him as far as he would allow. The more he trusted me the more he allowed me to study. It took a few years, I won't lie, and it was really hard for him to adjust at first." She shrugged slightly.

He'd been cut off from his own kind for so long, she was surprised that he hadn't just… left one day to rejoin the main group. "Now he's like some weird talking cat. An asshole that occasionally wants to be held." She smiled down at Will, looking at the strange emotion that crossed his face. Bonny couldn't really put her finger on what that expression was, but she decided it wasn't anything bad or malicious. Probably akin to confusion and awe.

"That's… a pretty wild story. Though I guess Bumblebee can relate." Bee nodded, chirping at her. He must be close with a human too. "This is Medbay, it's Ratchet's domain so be careful, he can be… a little much at times."

"Yeeeeaaahhh, we kind of witnessed that already. Not the best bedside manner." She whispered, hoping he didn't hear her. But from the clanging sound as he tossed a massive wrench across what looked like a giant platform said otherwise. "Bee hide me before he attempts manual strangulation!" A giggle escaped her lips as the cheerful yellow 'bot settled her onto his shoulder, freeing up his hands to pretend he was a boxer. A holoform fizzled into reality near them.

"Just what is that supposed to mean?! Am I to act like a bickering sparkling like you and your ward?" He huffed, his chest puffing out like a proud peacock. Bonny bit her lip, struggling to keep a neutral face.

"N-no! But you could stand to have a sense of humor!" She stuck her tongue out at him, starting to cackle at how red the holoform turned. "Awww don't get your feathers ruffled too badly, you're easy to rile up aren't you?"

Ratchet looked at Will, exasperatedly motioning to her, "This.. is the brilliant scientist you sent me? She's no more than a child!"

"Hey! I resent that. I'm 28. That's well above the age when humans are deemed adults. You're just an old fuddy duddy that doesn't know how to have fun. Though that 'bickering' you referred to was a very human way to distract oneself from a traumatic experience. Or would you have rathered a trembling sobbing mess of a human that you really would have had to sedate?"

He faltered, mouth opening and closing before he huffily vanished in a shower of blue sparks. "I have work to do and you are distracting me."

Will whistled softly, "Never seen anyone shut him down like that. Are you a witch or something? You tamed Ironhide in 5 seconds and somehow did that?" He shook his head, "Come on, I need to introduce you to the human staff before we get you settled for the night."

Bonny felt pretty smug at the praise. Being around Hype had gotten her really good at quick retorts. "I may not have had siblings, but Hype is close enough." She patted Bee's shoulder, "You can let me down now, Bumblebee, I think I'll be okay from here."

Once confidently back on her feet she followed Will along, "How long have you been with N.E.S.T.?"

He scratched the back of his head, "Since the very beginning. We helped to found all this, well.. more like because we were the ones to have the first contact with the Decepticons in the field. Epps was with me that day."

Tilting her head she had to clamp her mouth shut. From the look on his face it was a day that haunted him. How many people had been killed by the Decepticons during the first contact? Probably dear friends of his. "There aren't many humans working here, are there?"

"There's enough." His tone was dry, almost bitter. Uh oh… that sounds like drama..

"Trouble higher up the food chain?" She got a glance, but he didn't say anything just yet, maybe thinking over what he was going to say. Bonny took the moment to look down at the cement as they walked. It was very glossy, freshly polished no doubt. It must be odd to work in a place like this as a janitor. They must have wild stories to tell. From her experience, they were the ones with the real scoop on things.

"There's this man the government brought in." Will wrinkled his nose in disgust, clearly against the very presence of the man. "His name is Theodore Galloway. He's the most ignorant piece-of-shit on this base. Sometimes I just want to wring his neck. Earlier today he was demanding the Autobots leave Earth, somehow thinking that the Decepticons will follow them and leave us in peace."

Bonny stopped walking and stared like he'd grown two heads, "He wants them to leave?! The Autobots are the greatest ally we could possibly ask for. Is he a moron? Doesn't he realize that we can learn so much from them? They're fully capable of space travel to distant realms." She pulled at her hair for a second before just running her fingers through it. If he wanted to rid the Earth of the Autobots… Hyperdrive was at risk. "He can't. Surely they shot him down?"

"Oh Optimus gave him a reaming. I wish you'd heard it." He chuckled, "Don't worry. They're not going anywhere unless they decide to. It shouldn't be up to us."

Letting out a huge breath of relief she nodded in agreement, "If he brings it up around me, I'll tear him a new one worse than Optimus ever could." Continuing, they approached a small group of soldiers.

"Hey Epps, come meet the newbie!" Will called. The man that stood up was chiseled, with a dazzling white smile. His hair was buzzed close to his head, and his eyes were dark, nearly black, but there was a warmth to them. He extended a hand to Bonny.

"Welcome aboard. I hope we keep you, this place can be pretty goddamn nuts." She grasped his hand firmly.

"Perfect. I needed a little chaos in my life."

Letting go he turned to motion to the others nearby, "From the left we have Sam." Sam was a woman with box braids, full lips, and large wide eyes, she sported a smirk as she looked Bonny up and down.

"Alex." Alex had buzzed hair, but it was longer, closer to the length that Will sported and straw blonde. He was busy reading and didn't actually glance up, his glasses sliding down his straight nose slightly.

"Rachel." Rachel had thick red curls, a dusting of freckles and sparkling eyes as she waved, a bubbly grin spread across her face.

"Charlie." Charlie was a stern-looking older man, streaks of gray running through his hair and beard. But build like a truck. Tattoos peaked out of his collar and spread over his knuckles. He gave a single nod to her.

"JJ." JJ appeared to be the youngest of the group, lanky - likely fresh from training and yet to really grow into himself. He grinned, the only one to speak up, "Nice to meet you!"

"It's a pleasure. My friend Hyperdrive is wandering around somewhere, he's a little RC truck when he's not transformed." She gave a small wave back to Rachel, blushing shyly. Maybe she'd have some friends here her own age. It'd been a while since she'd had any real conversations with anyone really. Well besides Hype but that was more like talking with a sibling, a family member. They had their little weird quirks that just happened from inside jokes and playful teasing."

Sam raised her brows, "Is that why they brought you in? Because you have a tiny Autobot hanging around you."

"Not exactly, but I'm sure it helped the decision to bring me in. I'm a scientist.. Autobot repairman and a machinist so I can recreate different parts, they can't entirely compare with what they have naturally, but they make do." She admitted, scratching the back of her head like she was embarrassed of her prowess in the field. But it was easy to understand if you looked at it from the view of a mechanic, or a doctor. Just different power sources and material. A different skin and blood. Maintenance is required. For humans and Cybertronians alike. "I'll be helping Ratchet in the Med-Bay, and in doing different types of research."

Scoffing Sam irritably flicked her braids, "Wow another brainiac to protect."

Epps shot her a glare, there'd be words between them later. Will had a similar look on his face, then spoke cooly, not taking his eyes off Sam, "We're lucky to have her, you should be grateful that she even agreed to come." She went quiet, chastised for the moment, but she cast a glower that Bonny caught out of the corner of her eye as she turned to Will.

"Alright, where to next?"

He smiled, "We're going to your new house."
