(Sonic's POV)
I was at my house watching my flat-screen TV with my Roku using the YouTube app by dancing U Can't Touch This by MC Hammer video. Amy on the other hand was trying to get the beat going by dancing but she was not as fast as me.
"Can't touch this, Amy." I taunted her as I kept dancing.
"I'm a lady, Sonikku. I can do sexy." Amy sticks her tongue out.
"We'll see who gets sexy, Ames." I just laughed at this while dancing.
Amy just rolls her eyes and tries to keep up. Eventually, we both got startled by our friends opening the unlocked door like an element of surprise. I quickly turned the TV off to prevent my embarrassment. Have Knuckles ever heard of knocking on the door? Of course not.
"So, what is this about?" I asked them.
"We got an urgent situation. Silver's back from the future." Knuckles said.
"What kind of urgency is it and why is he not here with you, Blaze?" I asked.
"It's complicated. He wants everyone to come to Notre Dame in Paris." Blaze said.
"Paris? I always wanted to go to Paris someday with Sonic. This is so exciting!" Amy squealed in joy.
"Not the time for that, Ames. We agreed to keep our relationship as platonic." I said, a little annoyed that we are going to Paris, the city of love that Amy has been begging me to go on a vacation with her years ago.
"Alright Sonic," Amy replied reluctantly.
"So he wants all of us to meet him in Paris?" I asked.
"Yes, and you're not gonna believe this." Knuckles opens a portal.
"I'll see it when I believe it, Knucklehead." I chuckled and we all went into the portal.
"What about Shadow?" Amy asked.
"He has his ways of getting here. Tails is there too." Knuckles said.
(Silver's POV)
Rouge brought some salmon fish and bread for me to eat since I was beyond hungry for 5 days in my future. I was very ravenous for like 30 minutes and I see Rouge is not impressed at how I eat but she can tell I was very famished due to a lot of struggles of surviving and staying alive.
"Sorry Rouge." I smiled nervously.
"What has that apocalypse future timeline of yours done to you?" Rouge asked in concern.
"Terrible. I tried to find an alternative universe of mine but I couldn't find one. Not unless I go back in time to change it." I said.
Suddenly I felt the back of my head making me see memories that are not mine. My real apocalypse home changed to an alternative home. Oh, boy. I think something is happening to my child self. My existence in this timeline is altering.
"What's wrong?" Rouge asked in concern.
"The more I'm in the past I'm changing the future and my memories get altered," I explained.
"So there's a chance that something you'll do to fix the cause and effect," Rouge said.
"Yes. But I must find the source of the apocalypse so it remains altered. I won't be erased." I said.
I continue eating to get my energy up. The past few days of survival made me feel weak and starved.
"I hope you liked it," Rouge said.
I let out a belch as if on cue, the portal emerged in the air. I saw Sonic, Amy, Tails, Knuckles, and Blaze arrive.
"Hello, guys." I greeted them.
"Aaahh! It's a dead person!" Knuckles freaked out.
"Whoa, calm down!" Blaze pleaded with him to calm down.
"I'm alive, Knuckles! I've just been transformed." I explained.
"Transformed? You look like you died and became an angel!" Knuckles screamed.
"I am not dead for God's sake! Try to punch me and you'll see." I dared him.
Knuckles rears his fist back but briefly hesitates. That's what I thought.
"Ask yourself. Do ghosts and angels bleed or get injured?" I showed him the wound on my arm that looks like a real living person with a wound.
"No." Answered Knuckles.
"And I'm not dead. I'm alive." I said seriously and I don't wanna explain everything again. It annoys me a lot that some people need to discover that myths are forbidden from discovering they're real.
"We believe you, Silver," Sonic said.
"How are you alive? Angels are dead people in heaven" Amy said.
"This ring above me turned me into one." I pointed at my halo ring.
"That explains it, Silver the future guardian angel" Sonic making fun of me.
"Hilarious. I prefer as an 'alive' guardian angel." I rolled my eyes, not amused by Sonic's annoying cocky attitude.
"Why not remove the halo ring off your head?" Tails asked.
"I've tried but it does not come off. It's probably staying there until I've accomplished my mission here in the past." I said.
"So who's "triggering" 2021 this time?" Sonic asked with air quotes.
"Iblis, the most powerful deity being to influence people with deadly sins to one day make mankind kill each other one by one so that Iblis becomes stronger to suck up people's sins to demolish the world into a hellish apocalypse. Like wars, terrorists, bioweapons, everything that mankind has done." I explained but I should not be saying this but to warn them.
"But hasn't it already happened? Everyone is just who they are, Silver. We can't perfect people to be good." Shadow appeared out of the shadows which spooked us.
"God almighty! How long have you been standing there?" I nearly had a heart attack.
"About 5 minutes ago." Shadow crossed his arms, not even scared at my appearance. Typical dark hedgehog always keeping his emotions controlled as always.
"Sheesh, do you have to follow the meaning of your name like a dark shadow?" I asked.
"Maybe." He replied.
"I'm going to need all your help to stop Iblis once and for all to fix the future," I said.
"How will we find him? I heard that gods can take human form. Kinda like the Greek god Zeus that...well...hook up with mortals." Amy said uncomfortably.
"If we had a dog that can sniff a monster hiding in disguise," Shadow said.
"If we even had one but one thing, I know is that demons can't harm angels. I fought one and it did not like what it saw in me." I said.
"Yeah, darkness fears the light." Sonic pointed out.
"Like bats fear owls. No offense Rouge." I said.
"None taken." Rouge said.
Just then, a few pigeons flew on me like I'm some kind of a bird, "Great, it's like God is trying to make a joke on me." I muttered.
"Maybe. Now let's get moving." Sonic said.
"Get off of me!" I shook myself to get the birds off me.
"I think the pigeons like a future boy or is that your scent attracting them." Rouge teasing me.
"They just see my wings filled with bird feathers. Anyways, I cannot let people see me like this. They'll react the same way Rouge and Knuckles did." I said, getting the pigeon feathers off my fur.
"But everyone knows angels are good," Amy said.
"Not all angels are, Amy. Some are like dark angels." I said, trying to close my wings like a bird.
"Oh, but we need a plan then," Amy said.
"We are anthromorphic animals. Foxes can sniff a scent a mile away like canines. Rouge has echolocation like bats. And we hedgehogs just roll like a ball but we got sharp senses too. Humans can't sense danger." Shadow said with an impatient attitude.
"Then you need me for this." Tails slyly smirked.
I can hear the monarch choir inside the cathedral. Sounds beautiful but I have never been to catholic churches but I do know about God.
"Just do what you do, guys. But don't let Iblis influence you." I said, flapping my wings to fly out of the bell tower.
"Good luck." Blaze waved to me.
I flew up by the river and then up the Eiffel tower, but fast enough to not be seen by the people. I landed near the flag at the top and then flew down and just above Champ de Mars and Ecole Militaire. It feels like a dream flying over the city. Then I flew down a bit over the Louvre museum, where Mona Lisa is kept.
"Just like in the books from the abandoned library," I said to myself.
But as soon I saw some people look up, I posed like a statue. That was a close one. Once they stopped, I kept moving and flew over the apartment buildings and at Sacré-Cœur, another church.
"Hey angel boy" Rouge startled me,
"Aaaahh! Damn it, Rouge! Don't do that!" I was nearly out of breath.
"Heh, you are very jumpy. You know these people believe they have guardian angels. Why not reveal yourself to them?" Rouge suggested.
"You know that would be living a lie if I did that. And I never live a lie." I said, folding my wings.
"Come on, Silver. Be a good boy and do it." Rouge tried to encourage me.
"I will rather be a bad boy. I may be naive but you have no idea what can happen. Humans were afraid of our kind in the 1990s but not anymore. This won't be different." I said, looking at the view of Paris.
"Well, perhaps a light angel like you can bring hope to the world," Rouge said, putting her hands on my shoulders.
"Fine. Let's see if you're right about that." I said as I flew down to reveal myself along with Rouge.
"Mom! Look, an angel!" A tourist kid spotted me.
