Hello again me lovelies!

Kaitlyn Warren is here with Andrea Watkins to write some Fics!

Let's do this Andy!

Keep Calm and Bake on

Zeke knew for sure that Ryan didn't ask him on a date or ask him over so they can get it on like it's 1975. No, he just asked him if he could teach him to bake. It's not that Zeke craved Ryan so much he took up all his thoughts. He simply had a crush on the guy like Romeo liked Juliet. (Just without the horrible ending)

The rest of the day seemed to go by forever! Then in the morning, he had to get through Miss. Darbus talk about yet another 'musicale' . "Please look for sign ups to the musicale!" She started. Here we go. "Everyone should be on the look out for them! I noticed how much all of you love to sing and dance!"

Chad made a snort noise which cracked all the Wildcats and some of the girls up.

"What happens to be the issue Mr. Danforth?" Miss. Darbus asked.

"Oh nothing." He replied. "It's just that... No matter what, My boy Troy Bolton and Gabriella are for sure going to win the roles. That's what they do." He gave Troy a high-five and the Wildcats all exclaimed, "Yeaaaaaaaaaaah!"

"What?" Miss. Darbus asked, very irritated with Chad (like always).

"What Chad is saying is that nobody can beat Troy and Gabriella." Jason Cross said. "So everyone trying out for the musical-I mean musicale- are wasting their time." More Wildcats laugh like Jason held up a sign to laugh on que.

"Guys, we don't get in every musical." Gabriella lied, trying to calm down the laughing boys. "We just enjoy the musicals like everyone else who preforms on that stage. No big deal."

"Gabriella, you know you and Troy always get the part for every musical." Taylor pointed out.

"Enough!" Miss. Darbus yelled, making everyone quiet down almost immediately. "No more talking about the musicale until I say 'let's talk about the musicale', Ok?!" She fussed.

"Yes Miss. Darbus." Everyone said in union.

Just like Taylor said, it is true Troy and Gabriella always get in the musicals in the blink of an eye. It confuses Zeke. Should he be happy because Troy is his friend, or should he be sad because he "likes" Sharpay? But it is kind of disappointing to Zeke that Ryan and Sharpay aren't in the musicals that much anymore. He would sometimes sneak a performance, or Zara would enjoy to go to them, so he got to get in that thing too. That's how he knew how talented Ryan was.

Zeke's life feels like some sort of romance movie or a love song sometimes. He likes Ryan, but he pretends to like Sharpay because he's scared of what people would think of him. Mostly his parents. He's heard sad coming out stories where the parents disown their own child because they're gay. And like Michael said nonstop, gay is wrong. But like Zara said, gay is ok. Which is it?!

After a long day on school, Ryan texted Zeke at exactly 3:45.

Ryan: Hey! I'll B ovr at 4:30, k?

Zeke: k

Ryan: C U then! ;)

So now Zeke was chill. Until he realized that Ryan Evans is going to be at his house. He screamed internally and scrambled around his already clean house and started to clean it like he was Danny Tanner. He wiped everything down, he swept every floor in the house, he organized his trophy case in the living room, and most of all, he cleaned the kitchen the way he does after Thanksgiving. He finished at 4:15, enough time to take a shower and put on an outfit that made it look like he just threw something on, but it coincidently was nice.

At around 4:35, Ryan came. "Sorry I'm late!"

"You aren't that late, only five minutes." Zeke reassured him, smiling the smile he always got compliments on.

Ryan looked around as he stepped in. "Whoa." He said in awe. "Your house is really clean."

Mission accomplished. Well, mission one. "My mom likes things clean." Zeke replied. They made it to the kitchen, and he turned to Ryan. "What do you want to learn first? I can bake almost anything."

"I want to learn to bake chocolate chip!" Ryan said excitedly.

Zeke smiled at him adoringly. "Ok. I think you'll love it." He turned to the sink and began washing his hands. "The first step in making anything is to wash your hands for at least 45 seconds."

Ryan washed his hands once Zeke finished washing his. "Then what?"

"I put on my Grandpa's apron." Zeke grabbed the apron on the counter and put it on.

"Your Grandpa bakes too?" Ryan asked.

Zeke nodded. "Yeah. He used to. He taught me everything I know before he..." He cleared his throat. "Passed away."

Ryan cuffed his hand over his mouth. "I'm sorry, that was a personal question..."

"It's ok, it happened when I was 13, so it was a while ago..." He started to open the flour. "On other notes, I'll show you how to make chocolate chip." He showed Ryan how to put the batter together, then put in on the pan. After that, they put it in the oven. "While that bakes, I can teach you how to make icing in a blender. It is possible." Zeke offered.

"Sure!" Ryan answered.

Zeke mixed a bunch of things and put them in the blender. "Now, hold down the lid while I get something out the fridge please."

Ryan did so and pressed the button while holding the lid. Pretty soon, the icing was overflowing. "Uh, Zeke?" Ryan said. "I think there's too much icing in the b-" Just then, the blender's lid flew off and hit the roof. Ryan and Zeke both shrieked as the icing flew right at them, hitting their faces, and covering their clothes. Icing was all over the place, it was going to take a while to pick this up.

"I think I added too much." Zeke said. Ryan laughed, and Zeke started too. They laughed so hard they were on the ground. "I should clean this up." Zeke said through laughter. "My parents are going to flip if they see this."

"I'll help you." Ryan said as he started to wipe down the counter with a towel. Zeke got some more and they cleaned the whole kitchen, using a ladder to clean the roof. By the time they were done, the cookies finished. "That was hilarious." Ryan giggled as he grabbed a cookie and ate it. "Mmm, these are good!"

Zeke smiled and put his thumb up. "Next time I try to make icing in a blender I'll follow my Grandpa's rule."

"What's his rule?" Ryan asked.

Zeke smirked. "Never let the rookie touch the blender."

They both laughed again, and Zeke was starting to be confused again. Doing this felt right. How can something wrong feel right? Maybe he should stop listening to Michael and start listening to Zara. Whatever. Tomorrow is Wednesday. He'll talk to her after church.

If you have any ideas on what should happen, comment! I might use them!

To be continued...
