CHAPTER 2

"I GOTTA BE A HERO"

7 years old

"Here, have a cookie"

Akasuki held out a cookie to the fuming porcupine, who grabbed it and angrily took a bite making the redhead sweatdropped.

Akasuki let out a sigh, "Izukun tries to help you because you're his friend", she stated while rolling her eyes, "You're such a tsundere, Katsun"

"STOP CALLING ME THAT!", Katsuki snapped, "I TOLD YOU I'M NOT A TSUN-!"

"Katsuki~", the redhead sang teasingly, "Tsundere~ if you put it together-!"

"A KATSUNDERE! Katsun for short~"

"STOP SINGING THAT!"

The two children can be found in the Genji's household, specifically the living room, where the two are currently eating some cookies on the sofa.

The ash-blonde boy rushed inside without warning and grumpily tuck himself into the redhead's arm trembling.

Trembling in anger.

Turns out, the angry porcupine just came after falling into the river, where the little cinnamon roll tries to help him up. Fortunately, instead of releasing his anger to the green-haired boy, Katsuki ran straight towards his big sister.

Who, unfortunately, became some kind of teddy bear/punching bag to the ash-blonde.

Akasuki huffed, "And I told you to stop fighting Izukun!", she lectured with a pout, "He looks up to you and you're probably one of his favorite heroes"

"No", the ash-blonde boy denies, "His favorite hero is you not me, dumb nerd!"

"Me?", she asked, taken back at what the boy said, "But I'm not-"

"-Shut up", he grunted before grabbing another cookie from the cookie jar, held by the redhead, who yelped.

"Open your damn eyes, will you ginger?!", he scowls while glaring at the redhead, "I'm not his damn hero, you are, AND I'M NOT A DAMN TSUNDERE!"

"But you are~", Akasuki responded instinctively making the ash-blonde reddened deeper in anger, which the redhead chuckled.

'Such a cutie'

"Still I'm sure Izukun is not looking down at you", Akatsuki insisted, "He looks up to you too, so please try to be nice Katsun, You promised!"

"Shut up, Ginger", he scowls, turning his head away sharply, "I know the damn promise"

Akasuki chuckles as she fondly began to rub Katsuki's head, messing up his hair, making the boy glare daggers at her.

'What a tsundere'

The redhead protagonist can be seen sitting inside her room.

She sat on top of her bed, leaning back against her huge soft pillows with a notebook and pen in hand as she stares at the red screen in front thoughtfully.

"Archive, huh", she voiced out loud, humming faintly, "Let's see", she trailed off as she averted her gaze downwards, reading the contents of the notebook.

What is happening here, you ask?

Well, our dear protagonist is currently taking notes of her own quirk- what she could currently do and ideas on what she could try doing in the future.

After all, it's only logical to be curious about your own abilities and limitations.

"The screen's durability is still weak", she muttered while tapping her chin absentmindedly, "I could let Katsun punch it but he's still kinda weak too"

Somewhere, Katsuki let out a sneeze making Mitsuki scold him for not covering his mouth.

"I could change it to different shapes-", the rectangle screen slowly shifts into a circular one, "-but it still takes a lot of concentration, huh"

With a wave of her hand, another screen appeared- containing the 'Library', "My maximum screens is still two", Akasuki continues after failing to summon another screen.

"Well, it doesn't matter anyway"

Not like she's gonna use it other than daily living and satisfying her curiosity.

"Akachan!"

Akasuki perks up at the voice of her mother, "Lunch is ready!", her mother's announced loudly.

Akasuki gets up from her position, dismissing the screens with a wave of her hand before lowering herself to the floor.

"I'M COMING!"

8 years old

"What's that, Sukichan?"

Akasuki, who is called Sukichan by the periwinkle-haired seatmate, glances away from her black notebook and towards her seatmate.

"It's called arc reactor", the redhead answered with a small smile. Nejire's smile widened, leaning closer to the notebook as she examines the drawing.

The two girls can be found sitting in their proper seats inside their classroom, waiting for their next teacher to come.

Akasuki absentmindedly drew the arc reactor, from what she could remember, which wasn't that much.

Previously, she doesn't have that much of a great memory compared to her current one. Hence, just an amateur sketch.

"What does it do?", Nejire asked eagerly, "It looks too techy to be decoration! Is it a weapon? Does it blow things up? Oh! oh! Is it some sort of source that-"

Akasuki let out a chuckle as her seatmate continues rambling about the function possibilities of the arc reactor.

"Personally, I view it as a weapon", Akasuki chime in halting Nejire's rambling, catching her full attention, "But it alone does not blow things up", she explained.

"It's actually part of a man named Tony Stark-"

And there she goes telling Nejire a summarized story of Iron Man 1.

From what she could remember that is.

"Woah", Nejire's eyes widen as she stares at the redhead in awe, "That's a great story, Sukichan!", she beamed brightly.

'I know, right?!', Akasuki internally sobs in frustration, 'AND IT DOESN'T EXISTS HERE!'

"It's kinda inspiring too, don't ya think?", Nejire rests her elbows on her table and cupped her chin in her hands, "A quirkless hero", she continues.

"I haven't read any stories with quirkless protagonists"

The redhead pursed her lips, averting her glance from the girl beside her as she stares at her drawing.

"Society views them as useless and worthless", she responded nonchalantly, her face remaining blank, "But-", she paused briefly before continuing.

"I believe they are much more precious than society tells us"

A few months after she received her quirk, she began reading every book she could find her father's study.

One of the few things that caught her interest is the obvious discrimination of quirkless people in history.

In the series, characters- that she remembers- that are born quirkless are Izuku, All Might, and Melissa Shield. There isn't more she could remember other than their circumstances are incredibly unfortunate and rare.

What she didn't know was how great the discrimination is.

And it was far larger than she could imagine.

Quirkless people either end up as low-wage workers who barely earn enough income for their daily necessities and education, soldiers are seen as human shields for heroes or villains.

Others are fortunate to be born in a wealthy family- one who could cater to their every need.

As said, not every quirkless person is fortunate enough.

It's the same "people are made equally but born unequal" situation.

What she couldn't understand is how the people they call pro-heroes let this continue. How most are more focused on capturing the people they label as villains.

Or could it be that there are others who... silenced those who tried to help.

What a frightening thought to have.

Akasuki let out a bitter chuckle making Nejire pout, who just realized that her friend wasn't listening to her at all.

'Oh well'', the redhead sighs, still ignoring the periwinkle-haired girl fuming beside her, as she runs her hand through her hair.

'Seems like this world isn't any different than mine'

"Do we have quirkless employees?"

The couple turns their full attention to their daughter, who kept her gaze on her food, poking it with her fork absentmindedly.

The two adults glance at one another briefly before turning back to the girl in question.

"I believe they are some", Sadao answered hesitantly, trying to remember if there are quirkless staff in the company.

"Lemme guess", Akasuki said dully, "low-wage?"

"Goodness no", her father exclaimed horrified at the accusation, "All of our workers earn quite enough to-"

"-But none of them are in a high position?", the girl cuts in again but now turning to look sharply at her father, who gulps at the intense gaze.

"They're in a lower position because they're quirkless, right?"

"It's because they don't have proper education", Kaori corrected with a sigh, "With that aside, we made sure to pay them much higher-"

"-but why don't people help them?", Akasuki insisted, "Our ancestors are originally quirkless so why do people keep on saying-"

"-Yes, it is unfair", her mother interrupted her with a stern expression, "But just because it is unfair does not mean you are free to tantrum, young lady"

Akasuki pouted as she began sulking.

"We cannot change how others view them as worthless but-", Kaori sent her daughter a pointed look as her lips parted, "-that does not mean we cannot do our part and help them"

She clasped her hands together, her hands resting on the table, as her expressions softened, "Now Akachan", she called softly making the redhead girl raised her head.

"What do you have in mind?"

Thus, the Give Love Foundation, a program lead by Kaori Genji, is created.

A program/foundation that aims to help quirkless people may it be financial, housing, jobs, education, or you just need someone to listen- anything that they could be in service for a lifetime!

A dream come true, it is.

9 years old

"Who is-?! Oh, Akachan!", Mitsuki exclaimed as she spotted the redhead after opening the front door.

"I'm sorry for the late notice, Aunt Mitsuki", Akasuki greeted back sheepishly, "It seems like their trip would take longer".

'Honestly, it's either the project extended naturally or papa messed up... again'

Mitsuki waved the redhead off, "It's okay Aka-chan. You're like the daughter I never had!", she exclaimed with a grin making Akasuki chuckle.

"Masaru's just finishing something upstairs-", Mitsuki informed the girl as the two entered the living room, "and Katsuki's in his room brooding about something."

"Do you mind fetching him, Aka-chan?", she requested as she began preparing the table for dinner.

"Sure thing, Aunt Mitsuki", Akasuki responded with a nod and head upstairs towards Katsuki's room.

She stopped in front of the doorway, knocking before calling out, "Katsun? It's Aka-neechan, can I come in?".

Akasuki frowned after a couple of moments of silence, hearing no response nor noise from the ash-blonde boy.

'Maybe he didn't hear me...?'

"Katsun, I'm coming in!", the redhead announced before opening the door. She froze at the sight in front of her.

A CUTE SLEEPING PORCUPINE HAS BLESSED US WITH HIS PRESENCE!

She squealed inwardly. The redhead takes deep breathes to control herself from hugging him to death.

'Control Akasuki. Even if your name sounds like a fucking hardcore anime fan does not mean you can lose your control over these kinds of things!'

And so she did what every anime fan would do. Akasuki took out her phone- which was new mind you- and began taking a lot of photos.

A LOT.

She positions herself in a praying position.

'God has blessed me with this miracle. May you continue to bless me with more!'

With that, after taking probably hundreds of more, she woke up the ash-blonde boy which, of course, resulted in him being back to his angry porcupine self.

By the time the redhead got home, her wallpaper was changed into a picture of the cute sleeping porcupine with an All Might plushy tucked in his arms.

"Every job has its own role to the society"

The woman in front, their homeroom teacher, lectures, the students' gaze focused on her, "It's important that we choose the job we want and we know we'll be happy at so-"

The teacher held up a piece of paper, "I will be giving everyone this piece of paper. The objective is to draw your dream job", she informs the whole class.

"Is that clear?"

"Yes, ma'am"

"My dream job", Nejire voiced out giddily, propped elbows on her desk, she rests her chin on her hands, "I wanna be a hero!"

"Let me guess", Akasuki said dryly, "Because it's cool?"

Nejire beamed at the redhead, "Of course!", she exclaimed, "I'm gonna save some people! I'm gonna fly around the neighborhood! Oh! I know-!", she leaned her face closer towards the redhead.

"Let's be heroes together!"

Akasuki leaned away, quickly facing away from her seatmate, "I don't want to be one", she shot down, an arrow shooting through the periwinkle-haired girl.

"No fair, Sukichan", Nejire whines, "I don't want to be a hero alone!"

Akasuki let out a hum while grabbing the stack of papers from the person in front, "You're going to be a hero whether I'm there or not", she responded.

"I'm sure you'll make a great hero"

'You're a badass character so I'm sure you'll be fine'

Nejire tilted her head, "Then what do you want to be, Akachan?", she asked curiously, "Are you gonna be a doctor like Kaori-san?"

'A doctor?"

Akasuki snorted at the thought before shaking her head, "No", she denied.

"I'm their only child so it's only natural that I'm going to inherit the company", she explained while passing the rest of the papers to the person behind her.

"You mean the FGC?!", Nejire stared at her awestruck, completely ignorant to the dark glare of the person in front who is holding out the stack of papers to the periwinkle-haired girl.

"That's so cool!"

Akasuki grabbed the stack of papers from the classmate in front of Nejire, apologizing briefly, before grabbing a paper for her friend and passing it to the person behind Nejire.

"It's not that amazing", Akasuki replied, placing Nejire's paper on her desk before giving her a pointed look, "Start doing your work", she orders making Nejire pouted.

"I still think you'll make a great hero", Nejire insisted, "In fact! We'll make a great duo, Sukichan!"

Akasuki let out a chuckle at the earnest look on Nejire's face, "What makes you think I'll make you my partner, Nejire-chan", she teased.

"Maybe I'll be a solo hero"

"NO!", Nejire gasped, her eyes widening in disbelief, "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME, SUKICHAN!", she cried out loud, latching onto the redhead.

"IF YOU'RE GONNA BE A HERO THEN WE HAVE TO BE PARTNERS!"

"I-I'M NOT! I TOLD YOU I'M GONNA INHERIT-!"

"-YOU CAN'T DITCH ME FOR SOMEONE ELSE-!"

"HADO! LET GO OF GENJI THIS INSTANT AND DO YOUR WORK!"

10 years old

Akasuki opened the door connecting to her father's study, spotting her father doing some paperwork on his study, completely ignorant of her presence.

She tiptoed inside as quietly as she could, closing the door behind her slowly, making sure to make less noise as possible.

You must be wondering what the redhead is doing.

Well, she can proudly say she was bribed to take her father's attention away from work by her mother.

What is the bribe you ask?

A trip to the mall to buy some Endeavor's limited-edition merchandise.

'The fangirl in me runs through my blood and I ain't denying it!'

Now, to proceed with the mission on hand.

"BOO!"

"AHHHHHHHHH!"

Akasuki let out a snort as Sadao let out a girly scream, throwing the paperwork he was holding on the ground.

"Akachan!", he exclaimed upon noticing his daughter standing behind him, hand clunch on his chest as he breathes heavily.

"What was that for Akachan!", he cried out while dramatically falling onto his desk.

Akasuki deadpanned as he continues to dramatically wail on his desk, spouting something along the lines of 'How could I be mad at my cute light' and 'Anyone would only feel happy to be scared by you!'

Yeah, she's stopping this nonsense right now.

Akasuki reached out and tug on his shirt, stopping his ramblings, making him turn to look at her, "Mama said you'll take me to the mall", she explained with an innocent smile, "To buy some hero merch, she said!"

Widening her eyes as innocent as possible and ended with, "And to buy some ice cream too, will you papa~?"

An arrow pierced through his chest as he dramatically fell on his desk, both hands clutching his chest as he cries out,

"HOW COULD PAPA SAY NO TO SUCH CUTENESS?!"

And the kid charms won once again.

"Lookie here, Akachan~"

The girl in question let out a closed-eye smile, holding her ice cream in one hand, as Sadao continues to take pictures of her while exclaiming how cute she looks right now.

Which, unfortunately, is catching the attention of the people nearby.

Anyways, the redhead yet again wearing another dress, a collared butterfly-sleeved dress with candy stripes patterned in a shade of sapphire blue, the same colors of my eyes with a white ribbon tied on my waist.

Kaori made sure to match her outfit with white porcelain shoes, much to the girl's amusement.

"Look at the time!", her mother exclaimed in surprise as she checked the time through her phone, "We should get going, or else the merchandise will be sold out soon!"

"Oh no!", Akasuki cried out, clearly distraught at the thought of the hero merch sold out, and began tugging her father towards the direction of the store, "My merch!"

"D-Didn't we reserve it beforehand though?", Sadao whispered to Kaori, unbeknownst to the redhead girl who continues tugging him.

Kaori gave him a closed-eye smile, "That we did, dear~", she sang cheerily making Sadao sweatdrop.

Although the peaceful atmosphere didn't last long.

"Thank you papa!", Akasuki thanked her father with a bright smile, a paper bag full of Endeavour's merchandise tucked in her arms.

"You're really the best!"

Sadao cooed at his daughter, bringing her in his arms, while Kaori let out a small snicker, amused at how obvious her daughter got his husband wrap around her finger.

"Now, let's find somewhere we could-"

The redhead adult got cut off by a loud explosion.

Specifically, numerous sounds of explosions.

Akasuki let out a cough as smoke surrounds them, with a loud ringing in her ears, she forced her eyes to open ignoring the stinging sensation.

'Shit what-!'

The redhead froze, eyes widening at the scene.

Her parents, both unconscious, tuck her in between shielding the young girl from fallen debris surrounding the three.

'No'

Kaori, who is unconscious, held on her body tightly while Sadao, who is also unconscious, held the two of them in his arms, shielding them from the large debris behind the man which, fortunately, did not fall onto her family.

It fell dangerously close to her comfort.

'No, please'

"Mama!", Akasuki called out in panic upon seeing the blood on the woman's forehead, "Papa! Papa!", she yelled, shaking the man desperately, who shows no signs of gaining consciousness.

'Please, not yet'

"HELP!", she shouted as she glances around, coughing slightly at the smoke, "HELP! SOMEBODY HELP US!"

'Not them, please'

Akasuki began tearing up as her heart thudded in her chest, gasping for air as she struggles to breathe. Her eyes widen in terror at the sight of blood on her hands.

'I just got them!'

Her vision began to disfigure, the blood pounded in her ears, as she began crying, her chest growing tight as bile rose in her throat.

'Please, I don't want to be alone anymore!'

"Kid"

Akasuki's snapped her heads towards the source of the voice. She gasps as she saw a silhouette of a man, looking about the same as her father or probably older, his legs crushed under a large debris.

"Hey kid", the man continues softly, "Every-", his tone cracked, "Everything is gonna be alright, you hear me?", he muster up a smile.

"So just calm down, okay?"

"Breathe in", the man instructed, which the redhead follows, "Breath out. That's right, kid. Follow my voice okay? Breathe in-"

It took a couple of minutes before the redhead calmed down completely.

"You alright, kid?", the man asked, giving her a small smile, "Everything's gonna be okay, alright? The heroes are gonna be here soon"

Akasuki shyly nods, flushing faintly at the thought of crying in front of the man, sniffling slightly, "Okay mister", she uttered under her breath, "Do you uh...", she squinted in his direction, "Do you any need help, mister?"

'Oh god, that was so embarrassing!'

The redhead mentally cried out, her face getting warmer at the thought of breaking down in front of an unknown stranger.

The man stared at the little girl, whose covered in dirt and previously crying her hearts out, now looks at him in concern.

He chuckles in amusement, "Then, can you make some light kid?", he asked which Akasuki nodded eagerly.

The redhead glances around their surroundings before stopping at the familiar bag located a few meters away.

She squirms, getting out between her two unconscious parents- who seem fine after checking their pulses and their bodies.

As long as help is on its way, her parents will be fine.

'Yeah, they will be fine'

She shakily stood up and cautiously walks towards the bag, grabbing it with a sigh of relief. She zipped open the bag and brought out her phone which, thankfully, is still intact and fully charged.

She opened her phone and tap the flashlight icon making the flashlight on the back of the phone lighting up.

The man winces, closing his eyes briefly, once the light was focused on him. Once opened, he looked down at his crushed legs.

And there they are, covered with blood- his blood. He tried wiggling his toes but he could only let out a sigh in frustration, a wave of despair rush through him as he guessed his condition.

Which didn't take a lot to realize he'll lose his legs.

Akasuki pursed her lips at the man, who tried to keep up his warm expression, but the redhead knows better.

His anguish at the realization of his situation could be seen as clear as day.

She knows that look well enough.

She glanced back at her phone, whose fully charge but has no signal. Hesitantly, with a wave of her hand, she summoned a red screen, an idea formulating inside her mind.

The redhead stared at it for a few moments before sighing.

'Oh well, fuck the drawback'

"Connect", she chanted before wincing, a headache forming seconds after activating her quirk.

The red screen flashed faintly before shifting into a small rectangular shape, phone-like features appearing onto the screen.

The man stared as the redhead continues to tap something onto the screen with a focused expression, mentally wondering what the little girl is doing.

"The pro-heroes are coming", Akasuki informed the man, startling him slightly. Her gaze softened as she bends down, patting his arm, "Don't worry", she mustered up a smile.

"We'll be safe soon"

Then the man let out a bitter chuckle before smiling back at the girl, who is now reassuring him.

Oh, how the tables have turned.

It took a while before pro-heroes reached their area.

Which wasn't that surprising since the three-story mall is quite huge.

The medics took the still unconscious couple and the man crushed under the large debris. The three of them were sent immediately to the nearest hospital. On the other hand, our protagonist can be seen starring awestruck at the pro-hero in front of her.

"Here you go, Genji-chan", Thirteen smiled, bent on their knees in front of the redhead girl, holding out a chocolate bar, "Chocolates makes everything better, don't you agree"

Akasuki nodded eagerly, taking the unopened chocolate bar from the pro-hero, mentally screaming in joy.

'I'M TALKING TO THIRTEEN! THE SPACE HERO: THIRTEEN!'

"Thank you", she muttered shyly, "You can- um... called me Akachan"

Thirteen chuckles at the imaginary sparkles surrounding the redhead, "Alright, Akachan", they replied.

The redhead is currently sitting on one of the outdoor benches, beside one of the police cars.

Heroes, medics, police, and the media buzz around them making her a headache. Not to mention, using her quirk by connection to the internet- which she rarely does- takes a lot from her.

Thankfully, Thirteen noticed her inner turmoil and made her sit on the farthest side, away from the noise.

'Thank god for the good people'

"Now, just wait here until someone escorts you to the hospital, okay?", the pro-hero asked gently, "Your grandparents will meet you there", they informed the child.

Akasuki instinctively reached out, grabbing a part of the hero's costume as Thirteen attempts to stand up.

"Is the man okay?", she asked with a frown, "His legs... the doctors gonna amputate both, right?"

Thirteen looked taken back at her choice of words for a moment before letting out a smile, patting the redhead girl's head softly.

"Everything's going to be alright", Thirteen responded gently, "He's gonna live, so cheer up okay?"

Reluctantly, the redhead let go of the pro-hero, who stood up and walk towards the other victims.

Akasuki bows her head, closing her eyes, letting herself get lost in the sounds around her. Her resolve firm as she decided her future.

'I wonder if it's faith telling me'

The oh-so-familiar scene surfaces at the sounds of despair.

People around her trembling in fear, their eyes stung as they kept their tears from falling.

The mother and daughter, clinging onto one another as they look at the black man in terror.

The blonde man, oh so idiotic, standing up to the man with a gun.

Now, the scene differs slightly.

The sight of her parents, laying on the ground unconscious.

Their bodies shielding her from the debris that fell around them.

The man, his lower half crushed under large debris, his blood pooling larger by every minute.

The familiar sight of blood on her hands.

The familiar feeling of helplessness.

The choking feeling of fear.

But there's a huge difference between the two.

She lived.

At the sight of the man and the sounds of people around her, heroes and medic rescuing stuck the civilians.

Unconsciously, her resolve changed with her knowing.

Akasuki let out a bitter laugh at her resolve, opening her eyes. She held up her head, her eyes glancing at the stars that shine through the chaotic night.

'I gotta be a hero'

PREVIOUS LIFE TRIVIA:

Akasuki, previously, was born into an average family. She was orphaned at the age of 6, her parents died in a car accident.

CHAPTER BONUS~!

"-with 1, 326 deaths and 2,749 severely injured, the incident in the Yuhio Ward Mall-"

"I see you are awake, Ectoplasm"

The man called Ectoplasm turns to look at the doorway where Nezu, the principal of Yuue, along with pro-hero Snipe can be seen.

The pro-hero, Ectoplasm, can be found laying on the hospital bed with dark circles under his eyes. His hands rest on his hospital blanket, where his newly amputated legs can be found underneath.

"Nezu", Ectoplasm greeted politely, "To what do I owe this visit?", he asked, his face void of emotions.

Snipe helped Nezu sit on a nearby chair before continuing their conversation, "I came here to see if you would take my offer", Nezu started with a smile on his face.

"To be a part of Yuuei"

"Yuuei", Ectoplasm repeated nonchalantly, "I don't know if you noticed but let me point it out to you-", he moved his covers, letting the two see his amputated legs.

"I cannot be a hero anymore"

"Oh?", Nezu let out a hum, "It seems there's quite a misunderstanding, Ectoplasm", he clasped his hands and stared back at the pro-hero.

"I don't need much of a hero, what I need most is a teacher"

"I need someone-", he continues, "-who will guide the next generation of heroes into reliable heroes, not ones for fame"

Ectoplasm pursed his lips as he stares at the principal, who thanked Snipe for the tea- that appeared out of nowhere.

"So what do you say?", Nezu asked patiently, "Do you accept my offer?"

"There was a child with me", Ectoplasm averted his eyes as he changed the subject, "A little girl with red hair, her two parents were unconscious-"

"-Genji Akasuki", Nezu cuts in making Ectoplasm look back at him, "That's the child's name", he ended before taking a sip of his tea.

"Unfortunately, I believe I heard her parents were sent into a different hospital yesterday"

"Is she... okay?", Ectoplasm asked, albeit hesitantly, "I woke up to her hyperventilating. It took a couple of minutes before I manage to calm her down"

Nezu let out a hum before answering, "The doctors found nothing wrong with the child so they sent her home with her grandparents, is what I was told"

Ectoplasm let out a sigh in relief, his shoulders relaxing at the thought of the little girl being safe.

"I believe she was asking for you before she left", Snipe commented quietly beside Nezu, his gaze focused on Ectoplasm, "But you were in the middle of your surgery"

Ectoplasm thanked the pro-hero with a nod at the information. He averted his gaze back to the principal of Yuuei, who kept his gaze on his.

"About your offer I-", he paused briefly before continuing, "I'd like to have some time"

Nezu nodded, jumping down at the ground, his empty teacup on his hands, "It is understandable", he continues with a smile,

"Do remember that our doors will always be wide open for you"
