The stone crumbled beneath his feet, cobblestone filling up his inventory rapidly. Techno
blade stared at the same block time after time, his netherite pickaxe slowly cracking with each block.

"Eurrgghhh,"

Zombies. Technoblade, of course, wasn't worried. He was strong. Even without his armour and crossbow and tools, he could defeat the zombie without getting hit. He kept mining, sword ready in case. Finally, the opening of a cave system came into view.

"ARUGGHH,"

Ah! There was the zombie. Technoblade pulled out his sword. He swiped at the zombie's legs and stabbed it right in the liver. It disappeared with a poof, smoke rising from where it had perished. 2 bits of rancid rotten flesh lying there. Technoblade had no desire to pick it up. The only thing he was down here for to pick up was diamonds. He didn't need cobblestone or any of the completely useless gravel and granite. He hated granite. It looked too messy for his picked up the rotten flesh anyway. It didn't matter all that much; he'd dispose of it afterwards anyway.

He explored the cave, his torch barely bringing enough light for him to see every single block. It then descended into the ground, getting deeper and deeper. Then, came the orange light that glistened from deeper in the cave. Lava! Just what Techno needed! If there was lava, there had to be diamonds. He walked deeper into the mine, following the glowing orange light. As he stepped on different levels of stone, he missed a little dark hole and fell into it. Shit he thought, grabbing some dirt from his inventory. It was quite a narrow hole, deeper than you would expect. Techno was lucky that he had landed on stone jutting out of the hole.

There was the lava. A huge pool. Technoblade didn't know whether it had been explored before. After all, the Dream SMP had much of its world been demolished in the process of people gathering items. Techno started to bridge across the lava pool. Cobblestone was pretty useless anyway, so Techno didn't care all that much if his cobblestone was wasted to get across a bridge. He was doing well, placing blocks like a machine, and speeding across the bridge at the same time. And then, the thing he knew he would do, he slipped. His armor burned in the lava to protect him. Fuck is this really gonna happen again? he thought holding on to the dirt block. He climbed back on and continued to bridge across the pool.

As he came to one of the last blocks, he got a message from Ranboo. His heart stopped. Possibly to say that he had come back from his journey to Snowchester to visit? Obviously not. It was a message. Vc1. Techno was terrified. Why would Ranboo need to call him? What possibly went wrong. Or right.

"H'lo," Ranboo shifted turning up his volume.

"I'm kind of in the middle of something, what do you want,"

"We have a new member of The Syndicate."

Techno grinned. A new member! Who could it possibly be? Tubbo? After all, Ranboo and Tubbo are good allies. Tommy? Hmm Tommy is prone to wars and difficulties on the server so Techno wouldn't know whether he should let Tommy in.

"Hunter. The new guy." Ranboo said.

Techno turned up his volume. "Speak."
