Severed bonds
Naruko and Sasuke felt the very same feeling as they were connected. Their Chakra managed to touch the other, and Naruko felt Sasuke's dark Chakra try to shield her own, not suffocate it, but protect her own. Sasuke felt Naruko's Chakra fan his own. It was as if her Chakra was feeding his. He felt warmth in his heart as he felt her feelings towards him. As they broke, he smirked evilly as he tried to know exactly what her decision is.
"Heh, you know what you're feeling towards me now?" Sasuke asked Naruko who gave him a sad look.
"I do. You feel the exact same.. So, since when?" She asked the Uchiha who decided to come clean with her.
"Remember that six years old kid who beaten up those who hit you, after you defended a certain Hyuga?" He asked as she nodded, "He gave you a small scarf, didn't he?" Once again she nodded before her eyes widened in realization.
"It was you?" She asked and he nodded before he continued.
"Remember on the wave mission? My last thought was of you. That night after we met at fifteen, I knew that I must have you, or no one else will..." He replied as her eyes widened more and more. How come Sasuke is that possessive. "Anyways, let's go to Konoha, but only if you promise me that you will only watch and listen, and not do anything else."
"You know that I will escape from you, right?" She asked and he chuckled.
"I know that you won't." He replied surely and she turned away. That Teme! When did he became so infuriatingly smart? "I will remove all of your seals, only if you promise me the following. Do you promise me to become my girlfriend and future wife?"
"Yes." She replied with conviction.
"Do you promise me that you will never hide anything that troubles you from me?" He asked and she wondered what he meant.
"Okay.." She replied before she stuck her tongue at him, however, he caught it.
"Do you promise that you'll never leave my side again, and I will always be by your side?" He asked seriously and she replied.
"Yeeesshh!" She replied as he then did something unexpected. He kissed her tongue before he sucked on it.
"I think that we got ourselves a deal. If they are your friends, they'll understand. If not, they'll backstab you. If they do backstab you, then we both leave!" At this Naruko nodded meekly.
"Sasuke, can we go now?" She asked and he nodded.
"Team Taka, let's go to Konoha to know the entire truth of the people's opinion on our newest member. Whenever she is, it is my home." At this, they all grinned.
Konohagakure cemetery
The burial of one Neji Hyuga was sad. Naruko, Sasuke and Orochimaru attended it, far away with their Chakra suppressed. The Uchiha was holding himself back for the sake of Naruko. He then came in contact with Kakashi of all people. The copy ninja smiled at them genuinely.
"You're back?" He asked only for Naruko to give him a sad reply.
"Fifty fifty. Kakashi-sensei, can you please do us one last favor? Please round them up after the funeral and start talking about me and the Teme?" And Kakashi's eyes widened before he nodded. "In return, I will finish Icha Icha Innocence. I have the rough draft, first copy for you."
"You write Icha Icha? Oh you bet I will do it as your old mentor." Kakashi replied as Sasuke smirked. Their plan was simple, judge the rookies.
And so, Sasuke and Naruko were cloaked, Orochimaru was long gone, Naruko's seal was released by her rogue teammate in exchange for her loyalty to him. He promised her that if the others will accept him and her, that he will return home.
So they waited in a bar until Kakashi arrived, their Chakra are masked perfectly. They waited for the other rookies to arrive and arrive they did.
"Kakashi-sensei, why did you assembled us here? I mean, I know that we are close and all, but what's the reason for you to do so?" Sakura asked as Kakashi sighed in dismay.
"Yes there is a reason. Uchiha Sasuke told me that Uzumaki Naruko had decided to defect with him. She actually became his fiancée." At this roars of rage were starting to get louder until the Hatake slammed his fist down on a table. "SHUT UP! Now then, I want to hear about your opinion about them."
"Naruko is a backstabber. She promised me to return Sasuke-kun, and now all of the sudden she claims him?" Sakura's words made Sasuke clench his fist. How fast had she fallen?
"Sakura! Look, honestly, I don't know? I mean sure Sasuke killed Danzo-sama, Tsunade-sama, and kidnapped Naruko and who knows why she decided to follow him, but I don't think that she is really a traitor. I mean, she saved us all during the war.." Shikamaru replied, "This is troublesome, I don't know all the details."
"Shikamaru, really, Naruko is the hero who saved us twice in a row, so I doubt that she have a good reason." Choji added.
"Heh, you know? I don't know about her a lot, but her saving us twice in a row, her saving us from Kakuzu.. I don't know why she decided to follow Sasuke-kun though." Ino shook her head.
"Naruko is something.. Unpredictable. Logic says that her loyalty is misplaced, but her being a Jinchuriki that was not well treated means that she have an emotional attachment to Sasuke." Shino replied.
"She betrayed us just like that? Her nerve is... Argh. I misjudged her." Kiba replied.
"Two traitors." Sai replied.
"Naruko-chan have a good reason definitely to do what she did. I don't know what Sasuke-san wants from her, but if she became his fiancée, it means that she might very well have a good reason to do so..." Hinata replied as she tapped her chin.
"She promised him to do anything he wants if she lost, and knowing him? He probably made her realize his feelings.. Well, now, what if they want to return here?" Kakashi asked and now the other rookies became cold.
"We kill them both!" Sakura said as the entire rookies nodded. At this Kakashi gave them a disappointed look. Then he shunshined away before Sasuke would snap.
"So that's what you feel about me, huh?" Naruko replied coldly as she was now on her Sage mode. Sasuke however had his Rinnegan set on them.
"How about I kill you all, huh? Just like that you declared the one who saved you this many times a traitor? You disgust me!" His killing intent was so strong, that the entire rookies felt that he will really kill them.
"Sasuke-kun, they're not even worth it!" Naruko told her now only true friend who sighed.
"I'm sparing your miserable lives, out of respect for her, but next time you disrespect my wife.." He then used his Susanoo to explode the entire bar away. Kakashi was able to save them from the rubbles miraculously, but the Uchiha's rage was enough for the Hatake to make his decision.
Kakashi threw his forehead protector at them, with Naruko doing the same. The message was clear. Sasuke was officially the new Hokage.. Although, Hokage wasn't the term they knew. The Uchiha then gave Naruko a serious look as she nodded at him. Sasuke smirked as he whipped out his complete Susanoo and destroyed the Hokage tower in a single attack before he flew with Kakashi and Naruko in tow.
"My god, what have we done?" Shikamaru asked no one in particular. Ino cried her eyes out.
"We fucked up! Royally fucked up.." Kiba replied sadly.
"We can only obey!" Shino told them grimly. "No plan of mine will work!"
"Naruko-san and Sasuke-san are right about what they will do. We judged Sasuke-san to death behind Naruko-san's back, none of us realized how much she loves him... Especially you Sakura-san. You always hit her, always told her that she was in the way of your and Sasuke-san's romance, now we lost the only one who can be the Hokage... Now Sasuke-san will rule the world, whether we like it or not.." Hinata finally told them seriously.
"I don't know.." Sai replied before Shikamaru sighed.
"They will rule the entire world with an iron fist..." Shikamaru's announcement made their blood freeze. "She forgave him already.."
"What would he have possibly given her, something that none of us have?" Kiba asked only for Hinata to lower her head.
"Love... Sasuke-san loves Naruko-san more than he shows..." Hinata replied ruefully. She knew since she saw his.. possessive jealousy when she ran at her when she was unconscious. "We owe them an apology.."
"The problem is.. Would she forgive us?" Sai asked them seriously. "I mean, Sasuke was a Nuke-nin that's currently the strongest in the world. The problem is that, I highly doubt that there would be anymore resistance.."
"I agree. It's futile. They changed the war on their own.. The history is always written by the victorious.." Shino added.
"Come on, it's Naruko who we are talking about, she will definitely forgive us, no?" Sakura added only for Hinata to open a letter they didn't notice.
"If you're reading this, it means that Uzumaki Naruko will never be forgiving whatever transgression you committed against her. It means that the bonds you shared with her is completely severed. It means that she now belongs to Uchiha Sasuke. It means that from this day forward, her name is Uchiha Naruko!" Ino red the letter. "Sasuke-san wrote this.."
"It means.." Lee said for the first time.
"Yeah. That we screwed up big time." Tenten replied as now Sai found another letter.
"If you are reading this, it means that Sasuke-kun was right about you not being my true friends. It means that I will never come back to a village that spat and pissed on my parents legacy. It means that from now on, my deal to Sasuke-kun to spare you and Konoha is null and void. Enjoy the fear you put me on, assholes! And fuck you all the way to hell! Naruko's days as a punching bag is over. Me and Sasuke-kun are the next two Hokages! Uchiha Naruko says, stay the fuck away or else I will kill you!" Shikamaru red, paling more and more by every word he managed to read before he passed it to Sakura. "Sakura, is this Naruko's writing?"
"It is! We are screwed! Why did we have to choose the wrong path once again?" Sakura now was slapping herself as she remembered how badly they treated the Uzumaki. "We have to contact Kakashi-san or Orochimaru.."
"It's useless now." Ino replied in despair. "Her eyes were alone of a message.."
"Naruko-san's cold look made me realize how utterly damaged she was by us.. We used her, we want the Sharingan yet.. Hold on, this is.." Hinata begun only to open a logbook. "This is... I see.. No wonder.. No way! Are you for real?" The Hyuga heiress continued to read more and more until she was now crying her eyes out... "Good Kami, what have we done?"
"Hinata?" Ino asked her friend who sighed.
"I think that Kakashi-san was right.." Hinata said seldomnly.
Orochimaru location
"So, Everything went like I expected?" Orochimaru asked Naruko who was crying her eyes out but nodded. Now she understood exactly why Sasuke defected.
"It hurts... It hurts that no matter how hard I try, they would never appreciate the bond enough.." Naruko's tears were wiped by a pair of pale thumbs. As she gave him a questioning look, Sasuke kissed her tenderly.
"It's okay.." He said lovingly and softly. "I will never let anyone hurt you anymore.. I swear it." He hugged the shorter blonde who was now calming down. He didn't move an inch until she almost slumped forward, only for him to carry her in his arms. "Thanks for removing that seal, Orochimaru."
"Kukuku, it was a long overdue debt to her late mother. Now, Kakashi-kun, what are you going to do?" Orochimaru asked before he sighed. "I can help you take that pound of flesh for Sakumo-san if you want to?"
"I would love to, but.. I think that we have a certain blonde girl to turn into a juggernaut." Kakashi replied seriously as Sasuke smirked.
"Heh, I think that you have more than a thousand five hundred jutsus to pass down.. Oh, and she's currently still recovering so, it is my sacred duty to defend and protect her. I would never fail in that regard!" Sasuke announced in his most serious tone. Orochimaru chuckled at the cute side of Sasuke.
"Sasuke-kun, I think that I have a plan that would allow us to literally rule the world with an iron fist. The five Hokages, fourth and third Raikage, second and fifth Mizukage, second and third Tsuchikage, third and fifth Kazekage, how does that sound for you?" Orochimaru asked and Sasuke smirked.
"The Akatsuki. I'm talking about Sasori, Itachi, Deidare, Kisame, Kakuzu, Yahiko, Konan and Nagato. Also.. I don't know.. Maybe Naruko's mother? I mean, we owe her that. But she, Itachi and the fourth and Kushina? Free will. If they want to stay, they can. If they don't? They don't.." Sasuke replied as Kakashi nodded gratefully. At least Sasuke was humane enough.. Well, the Uchiha was low on the morality side, but with Naruko at his side, he didn't want to know what he could do now. Her being hurt was not an option..
"Sasuke, what about Yamato?" Kakashi asked the Uchiha who scoffed.
"That weakling wood face? Don't need him a lot." He replied as he thought. "Orochimaru, can you use the first's cell to create a bunch of Zetsus?" The Sannin nodded, "Good."
"So, now what?" Kakashi asked Sasuke who smirked devilishly with an evil glint in his eyes.
"Daimyos raids." He replied. "Whoever joins it, we'll give them their fair share. Now then, Naruko-hime is recovering. Her Chakra reserves were utterly depleted. I say a week or so of rest.. Even the Kyubi is more than exhausted." He replied sorrowfully.
"Can't you force the other half to join in the seal?" Kakashi asked the Uchiha who shook his head.
"Naruko-san must recover first." Orochimaru told the Hatake who sighed.
"I know.. We must protect her with our lives." Kakashi replied as Orochimaru nodded. An Uchiha who loses his significant other, would literally burn the entire world for said person.
"So, who would go to collect Kisame's DNA?" Sasuke asked and Kakashi immediately pointed at himself. The Uchiha nodded gratefully.
A week later
Naruko was still tired, although not like she used to. She hated to admit it, but Sasuke was surprisingly sweet towards her. He was always taking care of her and all of her whims. Even when she joked about him submitting to her, he accepted immediately only for her to laugh and shake her head at his willingness to do anything for her, but found it too sweet nontheless and hugged him tightly.
"Are you happy with me, Naru-hime?" Sasuke asked the blonde who nodded.
"Hmm.. I'm still feeling a bit lonely ya know? Although, I finally have a family.. But I really feel bored... And I want to train.. But you wouldn't let me train at all." She replied in her cute voice as Sasuke now kissed her neck, making her shiver. He then begun to kiss, lick and suckle on her pretty, tanned and appetizing neck. He trailed kisses and nips, and she felt herself heat up only for him to kiss her on the lips.
"I can't allow you to train unless you have Kurama fully sealed in you.. So, be a good Dobe and stay?" Sasuke said as Naruko tried to punch him only for the Uchiha to tie her up and smirk evilly at her. "Now then, how should I punish you?"
"What did I do now?" She asked on a panicked state. Sasuke thought that she was so vulnerable looking...
"I still haven't forgiven you for every time you said that I am.. Just a friend. You lied to yourself a lot.." Sasuke replied as she blushed when he kissed her forehead. "You know? I don't blame you."
"Ok, you were my role model, I confess. I didn't even know what love is until recently. What am I supposed to do? I mean I didn't even know what a.. Period was?" Naruko replied a bit meekly, allowing her mask to finally fall down. "All I wanted was to be acknowledged, to be loved.. To feel like a human being.."
"Then why that day you didn't stay? Why you didn't take even one single step?" Sasuke asked her sadly. If she went to him, he would have.. "If you told me the truth, I would have stayed.. Instead.. Maybe it is for the best? Anyways, you asked me to submit to you, even as a joke... So, let me ask you.. How about we share everything with each other? Then, I will ask you.. Do you want me to marry you?"
"Yes Sasuke. I thought about the word husband, and you always came to my mind ever since I became twelve." Naruko decided to be truthful with the only person who never lied to her.
"Heh, good. Now then, this is something I always wanted to do.." Sasuke replied as he went to her feet and..
"Sasuke-kun!" Naruko's voice was desperate now. Did Sasuke told her, in his own way, that he's utterly devoted to her? Naruko felt her eyes watering. She never thought that Sasuke was this.. She was cut from her musings as he kissed both of her hands, before he kissed her forehead. She felt vulnerable now as he put her head on his chest and laid behind her. She was now completely over him, while tied up and all, she felt his arms wrap itself around her, she now felt safe, protected and most of all, she felt that they both belonged to each other. The blonde could only break down crying as Sasuke kissed her head and whispered some soothing words to her until she slept.
"You're finally mine, my Naruko-koi.. And I am yours, now, and forever.." Sasuke said softly as he saw how she had a genuine smile at his words, which made him realize that she was halfway asleep. He sighed contently as he finally got her...
The team decided not to disturb Sasuke and Naruko. Kakashi was threatened to never read Jiraiya's next books, as Naruko was now the sole author, and she was the only one who knows the plot for the next few books, if he ever killed a single moment between her and Sasuke or disrespected any of them. It included trolling, pranks and weird stuff.
"So, what do you think about Naruko's bonds to Konoha?" Suigetsu asked Kakashi who sighed.
"These are severed bonds. She no longer wants to go back there... All her life, she gave so much, and now, she received nothing in return. Some acknowledgement? Some good job praise? Will that be enough? No. In return of everything she did, they only look down on her despite her strength and combat intelligence.. If I was the Hokage, the first thing I would have done would be to promote her and ram her head with everything she deserved to learn.. But nooo..."
"This dark side of yours is something I do respect, Kakashi-kun." Orochimaru commented on the Hatake's hatred. "You understand now why I quit the village?" Kakashi nodded as the other four smirked.
Few hours later
Naruko woke up only to find Sasuke playing with her long golden waterfall she called hair. She was silent as a grave when she felt him smell her hair, play with it, twirling it while saying many sweet words of pure love and affection. How long was he doing that?
"Sasu-chan?" Naruko asked softly as her lover smiled. "You think that I am... pretty?"
"Nope." He replied calmly as she felt a tinge of pain in her heart. He thought that she was ugly? Then again... She didn't finish her thoughts when his words left his lips. "I think that you are the most cute, gorgeous and amazing angel of a woman I ever knew.." His reply was.. Honest. How come? Was he playing her? She was able to sense his emotions, and there were not an once of deceit not lie.
"Sasu-chan, I don't know.. I mean I have whiskers as birthmarks, I am short.. I am fat on the chest area... I have.." He grabbed her waist tightly as he pulled her towards him.
"That's part of your cuteness.. Actually, I always liked them. Also, I have a thing for short girls, and hey, I am definitely loving that perfect figure and curves of yours.. And you have a wonderful hair that I can never get bored with.. You're an amazing twenty out of ten physically.. Inside however.. Heh, I can't even describe. You're just too pure.. That's all what I can find." Sasuke replied and once again, he was utterly truthful with her.
"Sasu-chan, why? Why did you choose me?" Naruko asked her old teammate who smirked as he laid her on the head of the bed.
"Because I don't want to be the only Hokage. The more I think about it? You would be the best Hokage ever. The world is afraid of me, yet they adore you now. I swear, if any of them were to know that we're married, they would cease this futile bloodshed, and walk to the light. We'll be helping them." Sasuke replied seriously. Naruko tried to argue, but then she remembered every dark aspect of being a ninja...
"Eventually, they will come back to fighting with each other. Even if I was to become Hokage, the higher ups and the others, even Tsunade, would have never allowed me to stay a child... Nor accept it. I would be another political puppet..." Naruko concluded sadly as Sasuke nodded, "They would not respect my word as long as they.. I see now... None of them really respected me, only you and Hinata did so..." Naruko looked down sadly. "What a fool I am."
"We all make our own mistakes." Sasuke put his hand on her shoulder reassuringly before he went at her feet and started playing with her toes. "But Naru-chan, we must grow from them. So let me ask you one more time. About your bond with Konohagakure, how is it now?" He stopped as he put her feet on his lap.
"I severed that bond. I'm totally yours, Sasu-chan." Naruko replied as her eyes watered. "It hurts ya know? I mean, I would have died for them and yet.. They sold me this easily." She then moaned as Sasuke started to rub her feet. He looked at her face while she was now on cloud nine. Since when was that Teme just.. So good with women?
"If you falter, Naru-chan, who can I rely upon?" He replied sadly as she was sighing in bliss. That felt so good, she would definitely give in..
"So, why am I still tied up?" She asked him a bit angrily as he smirked at her.
"I don't want you to get lost or something?" He replied and she kicked him multiple times. "Ouch! Okay, for your own good. I'm always worried about your safety. I mean, I don't want you to collapse or something?"
"Fine Sasu-teme.. I agree. I would not resume my training until I'm fully healed. I promise. Now let me go?" She asked as he smirked and crept at her side predatorily before he bit her earlobe gently before he whispered.
"I'm NEVER letting you go. No amount of begging will make me go away unless you need food, or going to the toilet, or water.. Or girl stuff. You're my very soon to be wife that I love with everything I have and lost." He replied seriously as her eyes widened and she realized where this is going. "I don't have a ring yet, but I want to ask you that.. Please, never leave me alone again. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.. Now, tomorrow, forever.. I don't want to leave you.. Nor you to leave me. Uzumaki Naruko, will you please do me the biggest favor in my life and become my wife?" At this, Sasuke was shocked as Naruko struggled against her binding. As soon as he cut said bindings, she grabbed his face and pulled him towards her. He smirked into the kiss as she was now his.. And he already belonged to her only for soooo long. Finally, he felt complete. Somehow, he saw it once his Rinnegan was focusing on a.. Red string that tied them up together?
AN : Finally I updated this. I'm sorry about not updating P.A. this Sunday,. ut I hope that it will get better.. Time was a rare luxery. Review, and I might have another few ideas (Hint hint) that I can spare some time to work around my author's block.
