The movers arrived on time, and set everything up.

This is awesome! These lonely freaks really are desperate…

It was time to get Octola on the hook. I had taken the time that I had spent waiting for the movers to follow her online. She was going to be in the online speed dating chat room soon. I shifted to a male from her species and put on a tux.

"Alkazar, where's my shoe?" Zalaya called from the other room

"If it was up your ass you'd know!"

"Excuse me?!"

"Whatever."

I logged online and went to the room. She entered soon after but, obviously, when she saw me she stopped dead in her tracks.

"Who...are you?"

"I saw your news article. I thought I was the only one…"

"Where have you been?"

"On our home planet. Come with me."

"Well you're forward."

Jeez lady, shut up and come with me.

"I'd like to see an artifact from our people to prove it. Meet me on planet earth. In New New York at the robot apartments buildings."

"Yes. If that is what it takes, I will bring the artifact. I live among our ruined society."

I mean really, pick something harder. Moron.

I went to the city that was set up and picked up a small statue of a quinclops. I liked that she chose New New York, because I heard about a cyclops there. I decided that I was gonna stay away from her for now and find a freakier one. I mean, a cyclops is weird, but I've seen weirder. I headed to New New York. I had Octola make me a taco beforehand, so I had food. I had to get a spaceship rented. I mean, what a pain. Oh well. I got there and shapeshifted before I walked up to the meeting place when a robot came up to me. Smelled like liquor. Old bending unit. He bumped into me, then apologized and walked away. I patted my pocket and noticed my wallet was gone. Octola came up to me.

"Do you have it?"

"Yes." I took it out and showed it to her.

"Wow...that's like me. I always wondered where my people were. I guess I know."

"We'll have to repopulate, of course."

"Yes, I'm aware. Let's go now."

We went back to the "home planet" and on the way we found a Rhinotaur. They aren't extinct, but they almost are. They are often separated. I'd get her on the hook later. One at a time.
