Later that night Peter has an idea that his shadow went to the Darling household.

"Come on Tink I think I know where he is, you boys stay hidden just in case that old codfish tries anything," says Peter.

"Aye aye!" says the lost boys.

Tink gives her best salute since the lost boys don't understand fairy, unlike Peter Pan.

"We should be back but tonight is the latest," says Peter.

"Which lost boy is in charge," asks Cubby.

"Hmm...Slightly is the oldest so he would be the one in charge," says Peter.

"Yes sir!" says the lost boys.

Peter smiles and he and Tink leave going for the Darling household. Luckily that night the Darling's parents are going out on a date night today leaving the dog Nana and Wendy in charge. Peter makes it to the Darling household and waits for the kids to be alone before knocking on the window after Jon and Michael are asleep. She smiles and lets Peter in quietly letting them know that she just got them to sleep for the night and is on her way to her room. She leads them to her new room since she no longer sleeps in the nursery. Her room is done up in a baby blue matching her dress that she wears all the time, and a big white dresser sits in the corner holding her dollhouse, sewing equipment, and music box. She also has a basin for water on her nightstand. In the corner, she has a stand-up dresser. There aren't any toys in her room other than the dollhouse.

"You have really grown up, Wendy," says Peter sadly.

"Not really Peter, I still have my dollhouse, Peter. I still believe in Fairy dust and fairies," says Wendy.

Tinkerbell blushes at that looking at her sheepishly.

"Well that's good..listen has my shadow made an appearance in your house yet?" asks Peter.

"I haven't seen it but we can look around," says Wendy.

They nodded and started looking in every nook and cranny of the house. There was no avail, they sat down in the living room to take a break from looking in the house.

"The only place we haven't looked in the nursery," says Wendy.

"Tink can you quietly go check in the nursery?" asks Peter.

Tink nods and goes to the nursery to check herself. She tries to be quiet but the boys didn't have enough of the medicine so woke up and captured her. They went around the house looking for Wendy. They find her in the living room and release her from their grasp, they made sure she was carefully handled in Jon's hat to make sure that she was safe.

"Woah Peter Pan!" says the boys.

"Boys why aren't you asleep?" asks Wendy.

"We couldn't sleep. We had some pixie dust on our nose that woke us up," says Jon.

"Are we going to Neverland?" asks Michael.

"Not tonight mother and father are only going to be out an hour tonight, we are actually helping Peter find his shadow. We already looked throughout the house," says Wendy.

"Have you tried the switch?" asks Jon.

"We aren't allowed to mess with that switch," says Michael.

"What switch?" asks Peter.

"It's a "real-life" switch my parents have in here actually. It switches dimensions, Jon does have a point. He could be over there," says Wendy.

"But we aren't allowed over there!" says Michael.

"But this is an emergency, Michael we will be in there five minutes tops then I can resew Peter's shadow back to him and we will be in bed before our parents get home," says Wendy.

Michael sighs and agrees, they go over to the portrait and take it down. Peter and Tink stand back not sure what to think about it. Wendy pulls the lever and they start the search. It wasn't a long one, they found him in the nursery. When the shadow finds Peter he makes his way over to him as best he can.

"Why is he flat to the ground, is he okay?" asks Peter.

"He's fine, this is just how he will look like in this realm," says Wendy.

"When we get home he will be back to his normal form," says Jon.

Peter wasn't sure but nodded, they went back and it was like they said he was back to normal and they shared a hug. Tinkerbell flipped in the air clapping excitedly. The shadow pats her head happily. They quickly put the portrait back on the wall and get the boys back into bed with a little more medicine but not enough to cause damage. They go to Wendy's room where she sets to work.

"What's with the medicine?" asks Peter.

"I don't know honestly, I was just given this since I was a little girl, and then my brothers are giving it now. It helps us sleep, I have some in my bedroom right now. Mother says when I turn into a teenager I won't need it anymore," says Wendy.

"Why do you need it? We don't need it to sleep in Neverland," says Peter

"I'm not sure...I will ask Mother tomorrow. All done," says Wendy.

"Thanks, Wendy, you're the best!" says Peter.

"It's nothing..will I see you or Tink anymore?"

"One day you will but for now I have to go."

He climbs up her window seal ready to jump out the window.

"Goodnight Wendy."

"Goodnight Peter and Tinkerbell."

Tinkerbell waves at her, she waits for them to leave before shutting the window and taking her medicine. Peter and Tinkerbell go home with the shadow attached to him hopefully for good this time.

The End
