Chapter Three:

The Slayer peered down his scope towards Narita airport. Various demons milled around in the terminals. "Can we take them?" asked Jotaro.

"Indeed we can." VEGA replied. "We just need a plan of attack."

The Slayer continued to scan the area. He saw a group of demons under attack. They exchanged fire with various soldiers and policemen.

Joseph motioned towards an electronics store. "I think I know how we can get a closer look."

He reached for a television and footage from the airport appeared. "I am getting a view of the security cameras, the ones that are still left."

Certain rooms had various survivors huddled inside. Travelers both Japanese and foriegn where trapped inside. "The foundation is trying to handle the evacuation." said Joseph. "But it's rather slow."

"That's why we need to hit hard and fast." Jotaro replied.

The group approached the airport, with Jotaro and Avdol leading the way. The Slayer and Kakyoin followed side by side, covering for Joseph. Jotaro soon closed in on the group of demons.

The Slayer peered through his scope and aimed near the rear of the pack. He squeezed the trigger and the bullet struck one of the imps in the chest. The two other imps looked at it in confusion and the Slayer shot them too.

Kakyoin quickly followed up by throwing gems at the demons. The imps howled and snarled as they were lacerted by the incoming fire. As they came closer, Star Platinum came at them. His fist slammed into the face of and wounded Imp, sending the battered corpse limply across the floor.

With another punch Platinum sent a trio of Imps flying. Another group collapsed from the various cuts from the gems.

Kakyoin surveyed the carnage. "They seem to have fled." he remarked.

"Just regrouping." Jotaro replied as he kicked a dead Imp.

The group stepped into the empty terminal, no one but demons to bother them. An Imp leapt from the counter but the Slayer blasted it. A couple more were incinerated by a blast of fire from Magician Red.

With a powerful roar, a Hell Knight barreled towards the group with Imps following shortly after. The Slayer swung his shotgun towards it, but the Knight got to him first. It's claw slammed the Slayer in the gut and sent him tumbling across the floor.

Quickly Star Platinum swung a punch that hit the Hell Knight on the back of the head. It snarled but continued towards the Slayer who scrambled for his shotgun. He grabbed it and pulled the trigger, blasting the Hell Knight's knees.

The angered Hell Knight now loomed over the Slayer and swung its hands downward. The Slayer lifted up his gun to catch and blow and struggled to hold it up. The Knight scrambled loudly into the Slayer's face.

Gems suddenly dug into the Hell Knight's back. It flailed in pain, and the Slayer quickly readied his shotgun. He shot it in the chest, and quickly followed up with a headshot. He quickly reloaded and sent more blasts towards a couple of oncoming imps.

Before them were the usual airport checkpoints, but no one was manning them. If it were not for the demons it would be a relief. The Slayer sprayed machine gun fire at the various imps, and Kakyoin joined him with his gems.

There was a loud screech and a revenant came through the metal detector. As it fired the rockets Avdol let out a burst of flame. They collided against each other with a loud bang. The revenant came at them in a zigzag formation, avoiding heavy cannon fire.

More rockets came at the group, and Star Platinum moved forward to meet them. With deft motions it knocked them out of the sky. The battered rockets clattered onto the ground, and exploded one by one. Various pieces of security equipment were shaken and shattered.

Star Platinum quickly grabbed a piece of debris and hurled it towards the revenant, aiming at the cannon. When the cannon fired, the rocket exploded next to the revenant and it collapsed headless to the ground.

The Slayer and Kakyoin sprayed fire at the remaining Imps, killing the rest of them. They then strolled through the broken battered security checkpoints, stepping over dead Imps. If this was a normal flight the hard part would be done, but the airport was still dangerous.

Done the wide hallway came a lumbering Mancubus. The Slayer immediately greeted it with a burst of heavy cannon fire. The bullets struck it in the face and gut, but it then boasted upwards and flew to the ceiling.

Before the Slayer could adjust his aim, the Mancubus landed smack dab in front of him. It's guns glowed, and the Slayer ducked down before they could fire. A burst of flame swept over him.

He quickly switched to his shotgun and blasted the mancubus. He got up and blasted again, straight into its jaw. Quickly the Slayer reloaded his shotgun, and the mancubus gun pressed against his head.

Before they could fire, tendrils wrapped around the limbs of Mancubus. He looked and saw Hierophant Green and Hermit Purple restraining the Mancubus. He looked back to it and shot it two more times.

Star Platinum swooped in and punched the Mancubus in the back of the head, and it's fist emerged from it's disgusting toothy maw. He pulled it out and then shoved the battered body aside with contempt.

Kakyoid directed Hierophant at a number of imps, and then opened fire at them with gems. The Slayer quickly followed up with shotgun blasts, tearing apart the wounded. He heard a snarl next to him, but Star Platinum swatted aside with ease.

As the group came to a fork, Joseph pointed to the left. "That way."

He then followed them down the hall. Joseph pointed to a door and the Slayer kicked it down. "The area is clear." announced VEGA.

Jotaro stepped in and saw a few cowering citizens. The white man attempted broken Japanese, but Joseph cut him off. "It's okay, he's on our side."

He and the two Japanese men stepped out. "You will keep us safe?" one of them asked Jotaro.

"You won't have to worry," he replied. "Stay close."

"We will ensure your safe departure." announced VEGA.

The three of them stared at the Slayer. "That was his computer buddy." said Jotaro. "It does the talking, because he isn't exactly a chatterbox."

Joseph opened up the next door and let a couple of young Chinese men out. The Slayer heard a shriek and saw a Hell Razer flanked by Imps. The Hell Razer's arm began to glow, and the Slayer immediately shot it.

The blasts stunned the Hell Razer but it lifted it's arm again, and Star Platinum headed straight for it. One arm wrapped around the Razer's neck, and the other controlled it's lazer arm. He swung the arm and the beam fired, cutting some of the Imps in half.

He tried to aim it at the other Imps, but it struggled and tried to aim it at the citizens. The Slayer quickly approached them. He placed the gun against the Hell Razer's temple and blasted it.

Star Platinum discarded the dead body and came at the nearest Imp. He and the Slayer tore through them. They turned back to Joseph and Kakyoin who were protecting the citizens. They stared at the Slayer and Jotaro in awe. "Who are you guys?"

"It's a lot to explain." Joseph remarked.

After opening more offices, Jotaro and Co were able to get a large group of survivors. Some of them included the plane staff. The Slayer and Jotaro went ahead, while Avdol, Joseph, and Kakyoin watched there backs.

As they rounded a corner, they saw a plane in sight. It was their exit. There were swarms of imps between them and it. The Slayer immediately opened fire at them. Kakyoin pointed Hierophant towards an Imp and it entered its mouth.

The Imp turned around towards it's former comrades and slashed towards them. Kakyoid reached forward, and the Imp copied him, grabbing a fellow Imp by the head. The Imp screeched in fear as the claws dug into it's skull.

Kakyoin had the imp swing it's claws in a wide arc, striking an imp on the bullet wound. Another swing hit a wounded imp and dug into it. It clawed at a large group of imps, but they clawed back and Kakyoin quickly lost control. He pulled out Hierophant and the wounded imp was torn apart.

The herd between the airplanes grew thinner. The Slayer stepped forward, blasting with his shotgun. He cleared a path through them, and Jotaro followed closely. He got to the Jet Bridge and stood to the side of it, beckoning everyone aboard.

The Imps closed in on the survivors, but the Stands protected them. The survivors stared in shock as the unseen stands burned and tore apart the incoming attackers, and the Slayer urged them forward.

The survivors dashed down into the Bridge, and Imps followed after them. A fist came towards the lead Imp, and slammed it away. Near the rear, Imps screamed as Magician Red's flames consumed them. The Slayer waited till all of the passengers passed him, then fired at the remaining demons.

Being surrounded by enemy fire made the last of the demons go down quickly. They were torn apart by the repeated attacks. Jotaro and co reunited outside of the bridge, and then stepped onto the plane.

When they got on they saw the flight attendants seating the passengers. It was a chaotic scene, with everyone piling in. The Slayer saw a couple of passengers struggling. He grabbed one by the shoulder and marched him forward.

He then found an empty seat and dragged the passenger towards it. He sat down, buckled up, then looked downwards away from the Slayer.

Jotaro helped a trio forward, pointing towards empty seats he could find. With quick work they got all of the passengers seated. Joseph approached a flight attendant. "Are the pilots ready?"

"They are preparing for flight as soon as possible." she replied.

Jotaro and co walked over to the back of the plane and prepared for the next wave of demons. The Slayer heard them coming and knelt down with his gun ready. As soon as the Imps appeared he fired at them.

The Imps began to pile in, but they were slowed down by the bottleneck. They roared and screamed as they tried to get past each other. The bullets from the Heavy Cannon tore them apart.

"We've got company!" Jotaro shouted back. "Can we get this bird in the sky?"

"We will begin to taxi soon!" an attendant shouted back.

As the Imps began to pile in, they grew closer towards the plane. Kakyoin reached out and sent Hierophant to possess the nearest Imp. It turned around towards it's fellow demons, but they quickly caught on.

The Imps tore into the possessed Imp, ripping it apart before it could do much damage. Quickly Hierophant squirmed out to safety. The Slayer changed to his shotgun and fired away. The burst tore through the tightly packed Imps.

"We should be ready soon." announced a flight attendant.

"Let's back off into the plane." Jotaro called out.

They did so and grabbed a hold of the door. When the Imps came close they slammed it shut. Three of them were caught in the doorway, and they were crushed. There heads and torso fell into a heap.

The rest of the Imps clawed at the door, but the plane drove away. Jotaro and co sat down and buckled up. He looked outside and saw the JSDF and Tokyo police breaking the perimeter.

Various soldiers fired at the demons with assault rifles. The outnumbered demons struggled as they were bombarded from all sides. The plane taxied into position and soon took off.

Once the plane was at cruising altitude, Jotaro looked around at the passengers. He saw there tense demeanors were now relaxed. They no longer had scared expressions and timid postures.

They seemed to be on vacation, or at least normal business trips. Jotaro wished he could relax too, but he had more work to do. After sitting for a while Jotaro swore he could hear a sound.

He looked back and forth but could not see anything. He sighed, figuring it was just his nervousness. He took a deep breath and focused on the flight. He wondered if where he was landing was safe.

Obviously not because of DIO, but what about the demons. "Was it only Japan?" he wondered.

Then again it could be more countries under attack. He sure hoped it wasn't that way. Again the sound happened again. He tried to ignore it, but was sure it wasn't in his head. He listened closer and it sounded like a faint buzzing.

He elbowed Joseph. "Hear something?". he asked

Joseph looked around in confusion. "What exactly am I listening for?"

"Buzzing, like some sort of bug."

Joseph looked at him with concern. "You don't mean…"

"...An enemy stand." Avdol interrupted.

"Is that what you really think it is." Jotaro stated.

"What else could it be?" Advol replied.

Kakyoin pointed. "Look over there." he stated.

Jotaro glanced in the direction and swore he saw motion. He waited a minute and then saw a large beetle flying straight towards them.

"That's it." Kakyoin declared.

The Slayer stood up and readied his gun. "Get down." Jotaro barked.

The passengers ducked down and the Slayer opened fire. The beetle quickly dodged, avoiding each shot. "You can't use that in here." Joseph declared.

The Slayer put down his gun and raised his fists. The beetle flew closer and Star Platinum took a swing at it. Passengers starred at Jotaro and co in confusion. Joseph took a deep breath "It is an invisible demon." he said. "Everyone remain calm, we can handle this."

He then looked to Avdol. "You are familiar with this thing?" he asked.

Avdol starred in contemplation. "I am vaguely familiar." he then said. "It is called Gray Tower, named for disrupting journeys."

"Not good," Jotaro remarked.

"It is responsible for many seemingly accidental disasters."

Gray Tower flew towards the cabin door and slammed into it. It turned around and flew to the back of the plane. Jotaro looked at the door and saw a scratch. If Gray Tower continued to ram at the door full speed, it would break through.

As he heard buzzing from behind Platinum swatted upwards. Gray Tower tumbled in the air, then hovered in front of Jotaro.

It dashed straight at him, avoiding a punch from Platinum. Jotaro lifted his hands up and Gray Tower scratched and bit them.

Quickly the Slayer and Platinum grabbed Gray Tower and clutched on tight.

Jotaro pulled his cut hands away from Gray Tower and directed Platinum to squeeze tighter.

The Slayer let go with one hand and drew a pistol. He aimed it at the bug, but it wiggled free before he could fire.

Grey Tower flew straight towards the cockpit and slammed into the door. It's horn tore into the scratch, widening it into a dent. The beetle flew back towards Jotaro and Co.

Kaykoi directed Hierophant towards Grey Tower and it reached out it's tentacles. Grey Tower maneuvered around them as they reached out for them and reached Jotaro and Co.

A swipe from Platinum crossed right behind Grey Tower and it flew to the back of the plane. Joseph leaned to Jotaro "Who is the user?" he asked.

Jotaro looked around. They're were so many people on board that it was impossible to tell. He stepped out of his seat and walked down the aisle. He looked back and forth at the many passengers.

They all seemed rather scared and Jotaro could not blame them. The world of Stands was something he was just introduced to. When Grey Tower turned around Jotaro prepared Star Platinum.

He swung a punch towards Grey Tower which quickly ducked. It did not duck soon enough, the Platinum's fist connected with the top of its shell. Grey Tower went tumbling towards the ground and scurried under the seats.

Jotaro continued to inspect the passengers while Kakyoin and the Slayer searched for Grey Tower. If he just hit Grey Tower, then the user would react somehow. He sighed, it was too late for that.

The Slayer noticed Grey Tower scrying beneath the seats. He gestured towards Kakyoin who got Hierophant ready. He set tentacles on the floor. When Grey Tower stood over them, they tied around it.

Grey Tower squirmed when the tentacles tightened around it, and the Slayer ran over. He lifted up his foot and slammed it down, but hit the bare floor.

Jotaro looked around to see anyone acting strangely. He hoped he would see movement somewhere but could not. Despite moving up and down the rows he could not spot anyone.

The Slayer swung a kick and smacked Grey Tower. In the process it broke Hierophant's tentacles sending it loose. Grey Tower went straight for the cockpit and hit the door again. Quickly the Slayer chased it down, hoping to corner it.

The Slayer punched at Grey Tower, hoping not to hit the door. Grey Tower zipped around, keeping ahead of the Slayer's jabs.

A punch hit Grey Tower and Jotaro noticed a passenger twitch. It was a little old man with a strange hairstyle. "You!" Jotaro shouted at him.

The old man looked confused. "What?"

"You did all of this."

"I don't know what you are talking about." The old man said.

The door burst open behind Jotaro and Grey Tower flew into the cockpit. Kakyoin and the Slayer dashed over to Jotaro. "The pilots are dead," the former shouted out.

The old man suddenly shifted in demeanor. He was no longer cowering and afraid. He grinned and began to laugh. "Once I bring the plane down, you will all die." He declared with glee. "Master Dio will be proud of me."

"But you won't live either." Jotaro replied.

"That's okay, I have lived a long life. I don't care…"

The Slayer slammed his fist into the old man's face. He collapsed to the ground and the Slayer stomped on his head. They walked away from his body and into the open cockpit where the pilots lay dead on their seats. "Grey Tower and it's master are gone, but who will fly this thing?" Kakyoin asked.

"I'll see what I can do." VEGA replied. "I will attempt the sync up with the plane's controls."

"How are you going to do that?" Joseph asked.

"You see that panel." VEGA said. "Pull on it."

The Slayer pulled off the panel. "Now cut the cables."

"Uh I don't think…" Joseph tried to say.

Before he could say anymore the Slayer yank on the cables, ripping right through them. He pulled out a small circular device and connected to the exposed cables. "I am overriding the plane's controls."

"Do you have it?" Jotaro asked.

"Hold on tight." VEGA replied. "This may get rough."

The plane banked to the left and Jotaro and co were slammed against the cockpit walls. They quickly stood up and found something to grab on. Jotaro clutched the pilot's chair around his arms.

The plane banked again and Jotaro grabbed on as hard as could. He pushed himself into the back of the chair, digging his soles into the floor. The plane leveled out and Jotaro sighed in relief.

VEGA announced his arrival to the airport. There was a minute of silence "What a minute!" came a reply. "Who on earth is!"

"Irrelevant, the flight crew is dead." said VEGA. "I am the only one capable of saving the passengers."

"Okay I will get you the nearest strip." came the ground crew. "Here are the coordinates."

"Excellent." VEGA replied. "All of the passengers will land safely."

The Plane descended and Jotaro felt the G-Forces hit his chest. He leaned forward, trying hard not to get thrown back. He looked around and everyone was clinging with there lives, everyone except the Slayer.

The Slayer stood in the middle of the cockpit with his boots gripping the floor. Jotaro looked into his visor and saw no fear in his eyes. He then looked out the window and saw the ground incoming.

The plane hit the tarmac at a sharp angle. Jotaro was thrown off his feet and his back slammed in the cockpit wall. He lied down as the plane glided down the tarmac. He saw everyone scattered on the ground, except of course the Slayer.

When the plane screeched to a stop, Jotaro opened the door and crawled into the cabin. He stood up and looked around. "Are you all okay?" he asked.

Joseph walked up behind him. "Looks like they are alright, all things considered." Jotaro added.
