While Dr. Ralph brought Lincoln up to speed, Lynn Sr asked Lynn to take Lincoln's friends back to the waiting room while he used a group call to inform his other daughters back home, who, as one might guess, did NOT take the news well.

"I'M GONNA HAVE THIS MAN'S HEAD ON A PIKE FOR THIS!!!" Roared Lori.

"Is Linky ok??" Wailed Leni.

"I can't believe this is happening dude!" Cried Luna.

"I can't joke about this! Please tell me Lincoln's ok!" Said Luan.

"I shall summon the dark spirits to punish the one responsible." Said Lucy.

"Whoever did this will PAY!!" Shouted Lola.

"Is our brother ok?!?" Asked Lana.

"I request to be present at the hospital to analyze the damage done to my dear brother." Said Lisa.

Lily was sleeping at home so she didn't know.

"I know it's a lot to take in. I'm afraid Lincoln won't be coming home anytime soon. But I'm afraid I gotta go. Your mother and I are needed at the police station. So I'd like you guys to come here and keep an eye on Lincoln. Can you do that without causing trouble?" "Yes dad." They said in unison. " good. We'll see you girls at home. Love you." He hung up and went to see Lincoln. "Ok, sport. Your mom said I need to go the the police station to deal with the maniac who put you here. But your sisters are on their way and they'll keep an eye on you until we can come back. Ok?" Lincoln nodded. "Ok." He hugged and kissed his parents goodbye and they left.

Unfortunately, Clyde and the others couldn't stay either. They had school tomorrow, but promised to visit as much as they could.

At the police station, the chief of police, Andre, was waiting for them. "I do apologize for what has happened." He said. "Thank you". Said Rita. Andre pulled out a radio and talked into it. "Bring him here." He said.

A few minutes later, a female officer brought Mr. Bolhofner into the lobby. "Sit." After he sat down, Rita got in front of him. "So you're the one who my son's been talking so much about." Bolhofner didn't look at her. "LOOK AT ME!!!" Screamed Rita. Bolhofner jumped and looked at Rita. She then gave him a hard slap across the face. "What is wrong with you?!? My son could've died because of you!! Why do you hate him so much!? What'd he ever do to you?!?"

Bolhofner said nothing. Ever since he had been taken into custody, he felt a feeling he had never felt before. Guilt. He had always been easily agitated, but never had he thought he'd ever hurt a kid on purpose.

"I... I didn't expect this to happen." He said quietly. "Oh, shut up!! You're not fooling us you sweaty dirtbag! I can tell you love watching people suffer!"

Now it was Lynn Sr's turn.

"If you think I'm just gonna sit here and do nothing after you've been abusing my son and let you walk away scot free?! Think again!!" He grabbed Bolhofner by the collar. "If I ever see you near my son again, I'm gonna rip that mustache of yours clean off, and shove up your-" "Lynn!" Interrupted Rita. Lynn Sr let go of the Hoff and sat back down.

Andre spoke next. "Sir, I hope you realize the seriousness of your actions. You just committed an act of child endangerment. You're not going to be seeing the outside world for a good six years." He lifted Bolhofner by the cuffs and pushed him to the lock up room. "We take you to the prison in the morning. Hope it was worth it." Bolhofner sat on the bed, knowing full well, it wasn't.

Back at the hospital, Lincoln's sisters arrived at the hospital on the city bus. Except Lori, who was stuck at Fairway unfortunately.

At first, they bombarded him with questions, but after the doctor got them to be quiet, Lincoln told them what happened. He felt sick telling them that his wouldn't be walking anymore.

"Elder brother. While you may be stuck to a bed for now, I assure you that you'll be walking again with my help." Said Lisa.

Lincoln was confused. "How? I know you're a genius, but I don't think it's possible to create a machine that can regrow limbs and bones."

Lisa laughed. "No, I'm talking about making a prosthetic leg for you."

Lynn brightened up. "Yeah! I've seen sports players people with those on T.V!" She pulled out her phone to show Lincoln. Lincoln saw that some of the legs were a special shape for running and other sports.

"I-I don't know guys. If anyone saw me with one of those legs I'd be the laughingstock of the school." He sighed. "Lincoln, you will not be a laughingstock. I'll make sure of that." Said Lynn.

"And besides, we want you running around with us again." Said Lana. Lincoln did remember how much fun he had playing outside with his sisters and how much stuff he used his legs for. "Ok. I'll do it. But you'd better tell mom, dad, and Dr. Ralph first."

Lisa called Rita and Lynn Sr and told her about her proposition. "That's a great idea Lisa!" Said Rita. "It'll be great to have Lincoln on his feet again! Great thinking honey." Said Lynn Sr.

Next, she told Dr. Ralph, who also agreed. "But, are you sure you can make one of those?" He asked. "Trust me, she can do it." Said Lola. "I'll also need the information on the state of Lincoln's leg. It's to ensure that the leg is designed and built properly." Replied Lisa.

"Alright then. It'll be about 3 or more weeks until Lincoln's leg will be healed, so I'll fill you in around that time."

Leni soon got a text saying their parents were on their way back to the hospital and that Rita would be staying with Lincoln while Lynn Sr took the girl home. "Sorry Lincoln, but we gotta go. But we'll visit you real soon!" Said Leni.

"Ok, I'll see you guys soon." Said Lincoln. They all bid goodbye and left.

"It's gonna be alright." Thought Lincoln.
