Luna II Orbit
December 16th, U.C 0100
The aftermath of the Battle of Luna II the Venusians now control a large military complex that the Imperials might want to take back. The Confederacy has now a foothold on the Earth Sphere, with first contact being on the more hostile side. But it was expected due to the fact that they never seen anyone coming from Venus, kataphrakts patrols around the asteroid base checking for any Imperial forces coming to take back Luna II.
On board the Flagship Megalith is Admiral Temba checking up the loses the expeditionary force took and the damage to the ships, while the battle was a win for the confederation, it was a costly one the technology difference between the Zeonic Empire and the Venus Confederation is very drastic. While both nations are created by citizens within space, while the difference is minor the use of it is different. Venus still has a massive amount of noxious gas in the atmosphere, so most of the machines that work on the surface had to work within the gas zones of the planet.
The ships of the Confederation, while some are retrofits of existing ship designs, others being old designs from the 21st century to work within the vacuum of space. The ground forces are pretty much the same too, its to work within the gas zones of the planet they were from and others being designs dating back to the mid 21st century.
"This is going to be a war of misunderstanding, but from the looks of it the Earth Federation doesn't exist anymore" He said grimly
He thought of an idea, of broadcasting to the entire Earth Sphere about their intentions and purpose here, while it could change nothing but peace is something to fight for. There are things that could change that like assassinations or terrorist bombings like he faced during the Insurrectionist Conflict. The same thing that happened back on Venus can happen here near and in Mother Earth
"Broadcast to all channels in and around the Earth Sphere, its time we fully introduced ourselves to the people of this so-called Empire" The admiral said to his communications officer
"Roger that sir, broadcasting in 5 seconds" The communications officer gave him the count down from 5 to 1
"This is Admiral Louis Temba of the Venus Confederation Expeditionary Fleet, we are here for reunification with our Earth Sphere Brethren. But due to a miss understanding that we are Earth Federation vessels, we have been fired upon and according to the rules of engagement, we are now enemies. While this can be remedied but knowing how human nature works it will not happen until a substantial amount of life has been wasted. Consider this a formal declaration of war from the Venus Confederation" He said finishing the speech
Little did he know that this little speech of his will cause ripples within the Earth Sphere Empire and her subjects within Earth and its orbit
North Africa, Libya, Benghazi
December 16th, U.C 0100
Within the city of Benghazi, Remnants of the Federation North African Army that managed to escape Zeon capture after the end of the One Year War, were listening into the radio of the transmission from Luna II about this new player that arrived within the Earth Sphere. While some are ecstatic that the Earth Federation can be brought back and bring down the Zeon Empire, restore the Federation control of the Earth to the rightful people. But others are very skeptic about this new player, they are the wild card of this game of poker
Western Poland, Baltic States
The officers of the European Liberation Front was also listening into the radio and speech that was given by the VCEF Admiral, they too have reservations on how to continue with this new player within this house of cards. They need to be ready to attack key Imperial bases and positions within and around Poland, Germany and the Baltic States
Eastern Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro
Within the Titans main base of operations, while it being mostly empty. Staffed by those who managed to take the base back from the Zeon occupiers, as one of the main Titan splinter groups that can sustain longer operations without wasting too many valuable resources. As being one of the few main bases still occupied by Titan personnel, with the broadcast transmission from the Megalith and the perceived war that is now coming back to Earth, while the Neo-Titans wanted to possibly join or stay out, the dice is rolling on who is going to strike first again
Australian Outback
In the Outback of Australia lies a small base operating by the Australian Defense Force. Most of these personnel are ex-Federation or ex-titan that somehow managed to hide here within this base out in the wastelands of Australia. Similar to other groups that are hiding on Earth, they heard the transmission from the VCEF, now they bide the time to kick the Zeeks of Australia
Siberian Wasteland
In the cold harsh tundra that is Siberia, lies a fairly large and known force known as the Directorate of Ekatarinberg. Made up of Federation Oligarchs, Zeon Industrialist and Soldiers that willing fight Mineva and her Empire, for they were anti-Mineva and willing to fight her forces that could destroy this icy pseudo state within the Russian tundra. They too heard the transmission, while this could be a opportunity to officially form the nation state
State of Japan, Hokkaido
Sapporo Base of the Federation East Asia Command or just Japan. This is the largest of the Federation Holdouts within Earth that can resist the Zeon occupation, while they heard the transmission as well it was met with a very mixed reception, while there is happiness within the Japanese population and the Federation forces there. It took a long time for help to even arrive so they will take this transmission with a grain of salt
New York, North American Provisional Authority
The office of the Governor of the NAPA, Garma would be listening to the transmission from the VCEF. A bit surprised that the Earth Federation had another ace up their sleeves, with Joseph entering the room at the request of Garma, he too heard the speech similar to Garma's reaction about how the hell did the Federation hide a fleet without the Empire knowing. The empire's forces are stretched too thin with the war at the Asteroid belt, Reunification wars and now forces in Luna II being decimated. They need to act fast or something will go wrong for the Empire
Side 3, Zum City
It was a beautiful night sky projected within the Space colony, the Imperial Capital of Zum City the start of the Idea of Zeon Independence, the hopes of dreams of peace and stablity within the Earth Sphere. Within the Zabi Palace in her chambers lay Empress Mineva Zabi, sleeping off the stress that she had to endure after her guardian Char Aznable death on the battlefield, and will be abruptly awaken by rapid knocking on her door. She approached the door and its her advisors telling her about Luna II's occupation and possible destruction from a Federation attack. Then after hearing the shocking news that the Earth Federation is back to destroy Zeon, she fainted due to the stress of her body.
December 24th, UC. 0100
Luna II
With most of the Luna II facility restored and rebuilt to Confed specs, this will be the main base of operations of the VCEF for the Earth Reclamation Campaign, with troop ships ready to make land fall on the Moon and on Earth.
"Admiral the troops are ready for landfall" one of his aides tell him
"Alright then Lieutenant" He turned on the broadcast for all VCEF personnel to hear
"Men, we are going to embark on a reclamation of our birthplace. Mother Earth the birthplace of all Humanity, this is our chance to liberate Earth from the clutches of the enemy and free our people within Earth so they can breath freedom again. Operation Reclamation is a go" He orders the troops to land
December 24th, UC. 0100
Moon Orbit, near Von Braun City
Troops from the 3rd Marine Division and the 15th Infantry Mechanized Division land on the moon with help from the 152nd Mech Platoon and the 9th Tank Corps moving into battle with the Imperial forces garrisoned on the moon. Similar to those landing near Granada the 6th, 10th and 43rd Infantry Divisions land near Granada with the 74th Mech Platoon and 15th Tank Platoon to engage forces near and within Granada City.
Above Earth Orbit
VCEF Ground forces land in Finland, Spain, South Africa, Mexico and Tibet. The 2nd and 5th Army land in Finland, the 6th and 8th Army landed in Spain, 10th and 12th Armies landed in South Africa, the 1st and 4th Army land in Mexico then lastly the 3rd and 7th Army landed in Tibet. There are landings in southeast asia made by the 5th Marine Division, 42nd Ranger Division, 76th Air assault Brigade, 20th Infantry Division, 100th and 45th Mech Platoons with the 34th Tank Platoon assisting with securing the entirety of mainland Southeast Asia
